When I booked they did say there would be construction during the day. I appreciated the advance notice. The shower definitely needs and update and a better cleaning. I liked everything else about the property.

Hotel under renovation
Understand that the hotel is undergoing renovations but my room was not clean very well. I have stayed at this hotel several times and this was my first experience with a dirty room.

The property is conveniently close to shopping and VSU. Eating locations close by. The room was clean no dust bunnies, no spider webs etc.

Room reeked of smoke; needs curtains and carpets removed.
Unsafe; someone tried to break into my room with keycard and didn’t feel safe afterwards. No assurances from staff that floor and hotel was safe.
Don’t elect to purchase the breakfast. They don’t understand it . Had to get Expedia involved.

The carpet on the 6th floor smelled like mildew and piss. It was a heat wave. The air in the room did not work but they came in and fixed it. One elevator that sounded like it was going to break down any minute. Will not stay at this property again.

Appears it hasn’t been touched since the 70’s.
The carpet on the 6th hallway smelled. My door wouldn’t lock and the latch came undone.

Overall stay at this property was great even though we had to wait to check in after driving for so long. Requested an early check in and had to wait 2 hours prior to the normal time. Otherwise things went well thereafter and we made the best of our stay. Friendly staff and would definitely stay here again. Also, close to most shopping and restaurant venues too. Nice property for staying in this area.

The tv did not work. I called tge front desk and I was told to try unplugging it to reset it and that no one was there to help as it was a holiday? I want to be reimbursed!

Staff welcoming. Dove products in bathroom was a great surprise. Bed comfortable but need to us a chair to climb into bed. They are too high to get into for a 5’3” person. Didn’t like having to do that. Hotel is clean but tired.

The heating unit near the window was not sealed well or something, and cold air was pouring in on top of the heat. Toilet leaked. Room was pretty clean and bed comfortable.

I was not given any information about breakfast although it was paid for in advance when I booked the room. When we went to discuss breakfast with the front desk (after seeing a sign that read breakfast was $14.95 per person) we were at first told we did not pay for breakfast. After she did some digging, she was able to find that breakfast was paid for and we were given breakfast vouchers. It would have been nice to have been informed about breakfast upon check in and/or information about needing vouchers better communicated.
The beds are super comfy tho. Soft pillows and sheets made me not want to get up; and I was part of the wedding party!

This is the second thing that I’ve stayed at this property. The first time (in June of 2022) I thought everything was fine but come to find out, it really wasn’t. While asleep I started feeling itchy around my face and neck as well as my child but on the torso, I just thought there was a mosquito in the room. This time around (in August of 2022), while asleep again I began to experience the same thing. Itchiness around my face, neck, and shoulder. I decided to investigate further this time and I’m glad I did! There was a bed bug right on my pillow! I immediately called the front desk and they told me to come down immediately to be switched into a different room. I decided that I did not want to stay in that hotel at all since this was not the first time so the representative said that I would be refunded. Luckily there was a hotel right next door.

Good for a one night stay. Front desk very friendly and polite. Room was mediocre. Toilet seat was lose. I fixed myself the shower was not that clean. Room a bit dated. The air worked fabulous and beds were comfortable.

Nice room, fridge and microwave. The in house restaurant and bar was not only convenient, but delicious and the service was great. Prices slightly higher, but worth the convenience. The rooms curtains did not close, they were decorative only so you cant block out the light in the morning and thats an issue for me. The room was not cleaned or restocked during our weekend stay. Overall a good hotel and I'd stay again

The location of the hotel was great, walking and driving distance to any store or restaurant. The only problem I had with the property was the assigned room. The tub could have been cleaned properly or better. I did see black mold. I didn't sleep good because something kept biting me, but every time jumped out of bed to see what it was, nothing. I didnt see anything. My children slept peacefully in their bed and my oldest said, she didnt feel anything but a comfortable bed. So maybe, it was just me.

Two issues: 1. Another hotel guest was given access to my room. The guest entered my room as I was walking out of the shower and was as equally shocked to learn that he was given access to the wrong room. Whether it was a front desk mistake or not, there is no acceptable excuse. 2. My room access card was not working and I was given a new card without being asked for any form of ID or even the name on the reservation. Very very concerning.

Friendly employees, overall nice hotel my only compliant is the bathroom smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke - even the towels smelled like it! Not sure is the previous person in the room had smoked or it was coming thru the vent. We just kept the bathroom door closed!

A quick hop off from I95..
This was an overnight stay while traveling from SC to NJ. We chose this hotel as it was conveniently located from I-95, had decent ratings, included a bar and restaurant. Staff were very courteous, friendly, and helpful. The room was decent, clean, and quiet.CoVid protocols were followed and we are thankful for it. We ate in the bar/restaurant and while there wasn't a big menu, the food was good. We were happy to speak to the bartender/manager and watched her tirelessly run the bar and restaurant service. It was unfortunate that the bartender had no help; she really needed it. We realize CoVid has caused staffing and maintenance issues for all the hotels we stayed at during this trip; and hopeful time will bring back the staffing and maintenance.

On the morning of checkout, I settled into a long line of people checking out. A woman with a clip board who appeared to be some sort of manager requested my ID, electronic key cards and electronic key card holder. When she found out that I left the disposable key card holder in the room she requested that I go back upstairs because this is “needed for check out.” Suffice it to say, I did not do this. Left with a rancid taste in my mouth regarding this organization’s customer service.

We were looking for a place on our trip home to break up the drive for our kids. We were looking for comfort and a nice pool area for the kids to get their energy out. This place worked for us. The staff was very friendly and honest. The pool area was very nice and safe for kids. The room was very clean and was stocked. The bed was actually very comfortable and all lines were clean. Would stay again and for this area was a great price.

It is in a great location where shopping food and movies is around. The breakfast menu is limited but delicious. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was spacious but the rooms are old and dated the bathrooms shower is rusted and there was a ton of ants in the room and the restaurant. The booths were not clean and there is only one person doing everything.

First and Last time.
Clerk at front desk seemed to be high on something. She had a hard time keeping her eyes open. Walked into a strand of spider web, killed spider on ceiling. Used roll of toilet paper on bathroom counter. Never got our wake-up call.
