It’s a shame but I had a very bad experience. I didn’t want to go to thru what I went through. That is why I paid almost 500 per night because didn’t want any issue. Anyway very bad communication btw the staff. One manager offered me something to compensate the error and then the other manager didn’t know what the other manager offered me. I had to explain all over my situation. They tried to fix it but the harm was already done.

Mold in all areas of bathroom (shower tiles, shower door hinges, sink faucet) - bathroom mirror peeling away from bottom - mold ceiling in closet - mold covering balcony railing - chair in room looks like someone had put out for garbage (fabric torn and chipping away color) - balcony painted re painted over chipping paint and still missing spots of paint - furniture on balcony 49.99 set at Walmart not even a cushion - utilizing "resort fee" amenities a hassle (miserable 2hr bike rental for one day of stay - had to call company - email company to be refunded as it was included - front desk told me I had to call then told email by company) exercise class (only offered once a day at 8:30) - this is not a four star resort - it is a Holiday Inn express dolled up but in need of allot of upgrades to be a three star hotel - staff friendly and fancy front - dont be fooled - finally two elevators for entire hotel - lot of time waiting for - car comes full - wait again - avoid this hotel - its a mess dressed up to look upscale but its far far from - but they charge as a four star - yuck -

Beautiful property on a beautiful stretch of beach. This was out second time staying here. We looked at other properties in the area, but loved this one the best. The staff is helpful and attentive. It's worth getting a balcony room with an ocean view. Also great to have the Starbucks downstairs.

Great location - unfortunately we had bad weather - on our one nice day - can get food/ drinks delivered to your beach chair .
In- hotel restaurants restricted to Sushi or Mexican , also no gift / sundry shop - just a mostly empty CVS vending machine .
The view of the beach was incredible with a spacious balcony when there is good weather : easy walk to the center of South Beach.
Service was good until the last day when we received no housekeeping service despite giving a good tip to them the day before.

No beverages in mini bar
Elevator to bottom floor/street walking area inpoerative
Only 1 person at check in desk.
Had to wait to check n, while they gave sight seeing direction to 3 other people
No Chair in Lobby to sit down.

Charge a $42 per day resort fee. Pool and beach were closed. Asked front desk for a refund and was told the fee was mandatory. What a scam!

Bad experience, wish I should have chosen to stay somewhere else.
Honestly there are charges on my card which we are not informed either by Expedia or by Marriott. At least guests are informed about how they charge the guest.

This Hotel had a lot to offer in terms of relating and peaceful vacation in South Beach. The room was clean and hotel staff was very accommodating and nice. Very walkable to a lot of restaurants and bars, also the public walking path along the beach is right next to the hotel so it made evening walks along the beach very lovely and peaceful, and close to the boardwalk area so you can watch the ships leave the harbor. My only gripe was that there is no microwave inside the hotel room so no place to heat leftovers, the bathroom was a bit small as well. Our balcony was a bit dirty on the glass windows so when you sit down you cant see any of the view because of the salt grim on the window, which was sad since I paid for Ocean View. Prices were very inflated here as well, about $25 for a drink at the beach bar, and you have to pay for an umbrella every day you go to the beach. Wasn't alot of seating at the pool and very crowded space if a lot of people are swimming. Overall was a good stay for the price of the hotel room compared to others on Ocean Drive.

Management should seriously assess the amenities in all rooms. Flush wasn’t working well. Big puddle outside the bath after a shower. Did not get a feel that we were at a Marriott and certainly not worth the money!!

Great location right on the strip but far enough that it wasn’t loud. Hotel was beautiful and the view from the ocean front room was amazing. Will definitely be staying here anytime I come to South Beach.

Two day break prior to taking a cruise
Poor front of house, no arrival drinks offered, no water or coffee in room, bar closed due to refurbishment no alternative arrangements made.
Also no option for late check out.

Property is dated and in need of renovation. Sliding glass door in our room was circa 1980. Glass enclosing small balcony was dirty limiting exterior view. Only 2 elevators in hotel so when busy you either cram in or wait.

We reserved a nice king room with balcony view of ocean, and received a room with no closet and tiny sink in middle of room. They would not give us a different room until the next day so we had to unpack, pack up again the next day, get into a different room, and unpack again… Terrible

We booked King ocean view balcony room. In the picture it shows like that room has 2 balconies, however there’s only one balcony. The staff I could say is nice, but I had some problems with them. We booked the hotel from November 7-12, I got a call from front dest on the 10th that we have to checkout on the 11th. I showed them my Expedia booking, looked like they fixed it. On the other day I went to checkout at 11:00 am, they told I still have 1additional day to stay. Nobody couldn’t fixed the errors in the system. Overall everything was great. Just make sure double check everything with the front desk. There is Starbucks downstairs which is so convenient. There is a great restaurant inside of the hotel, pool area is perfect, the water temperature is just wonderful. The property is in the good area.

This property was very beautiful and near several shops and eating places. It was right off the beach and the pool staff and pool was very clean and welcoming. The front desk staff as well as the bell hop/valet staff that took your bags we’re not as helpful as one would expect, so, just be prepared, even if you tip them, they may not really do much for you. Overall, I did like the hotel and would return depending on the time of year.

My wife and I were traveling with our 2 boys and ended up getting to the hotel extremely early. The hotel was amazing and didn’t just offer to store our luggage so we didn’t have to haul it around Miami but put us in a room. Then our checkout day the airline changed our flight to hours later and the staff was so understanding and gave us an extremely late check out…again so we wouldn’t have to haul kids and luggage around Miami. Would stay here again!!!

Great location. Property is on the beach and it has a pool. We had a balcony overlooking the beach. The furniture in the balcony could use some upgrading: not very comfortable at all. Staff was very friendly ( thank you Claude!) We would absolutely consider staying there again.

Super dirty room , dust and germs all over the bed and the furniture , ripped bed and service is zero , I would never go back to this hotel , they advertised nice and clean room and when you check in they give you the nastiest room that you never seen in your life

This hotel is not worth the price
This hotel is not worth the price due to the following reasons:
1) Their beds are not comfortable.
2) They charge you $6 for the water bottles in your room and there is no water fountain on each floor. They only have complimentary water by the reception area. Imagine paying $1400 for 4 nights but not have convenient access to complimentary water. They have even forced the starbucks next to the hotel to charge $1 for their tab water (Starbucks is part of the hotel).
3) Their welcome package was incorrect. They gave us a list of nearby restaurants that were supposed to give us up to 15% discount. We visited one of the listed restaurants but no discount was available.
4) The hotel's Japanese restaurant is very expensive with super mall portions! Stay away!! Their ceasar salad literally had 4 pieces of lettuce with some ranch.

The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and remembered my children. They went above and beyond to find them during “snack time” and were super sweet and played along when we needed to head to the beach and the pool was under “maintenance” and even gave our youngest a little toy to head to the beach with.

Marriott accommodated me after I had a free upgrade to an ocean view room to another ocean view with a balcony without a problem. Anytime I called for something they came right away. Excellent hotel. My family had a great experience with the hotel and its staff.

It is over price comparing with other Marriott tourist visiting area. The breakfast is not the buffet, but collaborates with local restaurant instead. The waiting time for breakfast was not impress, and not cover what we ordered. We did even pay over $70 for just 2 people breakfast as extra on the first day!

Breakfast for 2, was okay. Had 2 children ended up costing me 80$ for them to eat breakfast as it only included 2 people. Most hotels provide breakfast. Wasnt a fan. Luckily it was only a one night stay . Staff was very friendly though.

Everything was so convenient. Great staff. Tony at the pool was the nicest person I’ve ever met. So friendly and accommodating. Constantly checking on people to see if they need anything. Lobby staff were incredible. Valet staff were incredible. Really enjoyable experience and can’t wait to go back.

I check in and check out was a nightmare, as usual the housekeeping staff wakes you up with loud talking in the hallway, 2 way radio at full blast and a cell phone on a housekeeper cart that wasn’t o silent and continued to ring, unanswered

The food at Lolos was amazing. They had these really good shrimp tacos. The beef Birria was to die for the staff at the pool was very friendly, Tony, the pool manager, Tony with the Y,
was very helpful send it to everyone needs at the pool. The staff at the pool was really really good. They brought you water your order they got your order. It didn’t take long and the hotel rooms were very clean when we will leave and come back our beers will be May the bathroom will be clean. This is a really good experience for me and my cousin on South Beach it was really nice.

The Stay was great but when I checked out they charged me for parking $51. per day, I did NOT have a car.
They removed the charge. Check your final bill.
