We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean, beds comfortable. We loved the sitting areas around the hotel and the gym was very nice. We will definitely be back. It was easy to get to Tyson’s corner center for shopping and easy to get to the metro. We loved our stay.

Great gym
Solid hotel with an amazing gym. Marriott does like an upsell: higher end restaurant, paid parking, Marriott Lounge (like an airport lounge but for hotel guests?).

Overall, a nice hotel, parking was convenient. Of course its near Tysons so there’s plenty of shopping and food options in walking distance. Customer service was friendly as well.

Nice, but…
Updated rooms, but they were very small. Smaller than most Marriott’s that we have stayed at. The room also didn’t have a microwave, which we feel is a normal finding in a hotel. This is the only Marriott chain we’ve stayed at that didn’t offer that. Most of the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, we’d give it an 8/10.

It was amazing, but was surprised that there was no pool. Website photos should be updated and take the pool phot down. Other than that our stay was good. Like the new fitness center.

Cheap toilet paper. When we requested at The front desk they said they would have them sent up - a very long wait and then we never did receive the coffee we requested...
Pillows were too high ended up using a folded towel.

Pack n play was outdated with no mattress. An older baby could easily pull themselves out it's so short.

After driving for many hours, we were exhausted. The parking lot (which we had to pay for) was dark and poorly lit. The front staff person was not welcoming or courteous at all. The restaurant people I spoke with was less than friendly. It was quite surprising for a Marriott. But we did enjoy the pantry option for a quick snack. Thanks.

I was impressed by the property and the expensive materials... also the opportunity to experience a Bazaar after we checked out. There was no sense of graciousness by the staff only a sense that they answer correctly and not necessarily looking out for my best interests. I think hotel staff should understand etiquette at the least and then go beyond it. I did not need to stay here but wanted to have a "hotel experience" for my parents and decided to choose this over other hotels because I had heard Marriott is good. But I expected better.

Clean room but noisy AC!
The hotels is quite good. However, Room 619 had an issue with the air conditioner. It was rattling very loudly...It was either turn it off or bear the noise. We chose the second one and my husband put some Kleenex and a lotion tube into the slots to make it stop shaking and making noise as it was 2:00am after a long trip. Next day we talked to Marlush at the front desk she was very kind and changed our room to a perfect one with a working AC...

Loved the Shower Features
Our hotel room view wasn’t spectacular; but, it was still ok. Didn’t get to visit the convenience store because it looked like it was closed. Also, there were no vending machines on any floors. But, I absolutely loved the shower features!!! Biggest highlight.

I would not have booked this hotel had it not been close to family we were visiting. It’s isolated and extremely far away from anything except Tyson’s Corner Centre, which is a few minutes walk away. The staff wasn’t friendly or welcoming, they were actually quite cold and unhelpful - quite unusual for Marriott staff. They also weren’t clear - no one told us that we had to book cleaning service for our room when we checked in so it wasn’t cleaned after our first night there. This is the strangest Marriott property I have stayed at - very impersonal and quite frankly a disappointment. We stayed for three nights instead of the five we had planned and of course couldn’t get a refund although I had tried to change dates before our deadline was up but annoyingly Expedia wouldn’t allow me to, they wanted me to make a new booking at a more expensive rate for a shorter duration even though I already had one - bizarre!

Very good experience in general, breakfast was awesome. When I checked in I was not informed that daily housekeeping is not done unless you request it, did not read it until after returning and seeing the conditions of the room. Towels are not the best, a bit worn out. Felt safe and room felt clean.

Great hotel, just need a microwave in the room
This was a great hotel, great location, the service was AWESOME with great parking, as far as room amenities, it would be nice to have a microwave in the room, it is somewhat of an inconvenience to have to go downstairs to warm up your left over food, but all in all it was a great hotel, would definitely stay again.

Stayed for one night. Paid extra to have parking included. They said it was $10 for parking so I would ask ahead time to figure out the best deal if that matters to you. It didn't to us. We also paid for breakfast for 2 but didn't use it. Overall it was clean and comfy. I would stay here again.
