Noise level was absolutely terrible.
There is a middle courtyard with a basketball court, and the windows are paper thin.
Kids screamed and played basketball past 10pm. The front desk was unable to do anything about it and said that 10pm is quiet time. I even called Marriott corporate and they said the noise level is allowed until quiet time at 10pm.
If you want to hear a basketball bounced continuously, with an echo, along with screaming past 10pm...this is your hotel.

The couch in the room was broken and sagging in the middle, the bedding on the bed was just cry thinsheet like blankets, the bathroon was extrey small, could barely close the door without having to step practically into the shower.

second stay in a row with an issue. last time, there was a distinct pet urine smell in the room. all that was done was to spray some deodorizer. this last time, we had a toilet valve get stuck and flood the bathroom. four calls later, we had the flooded water taken care of and the toilet fixed. I received a somewhat insincere apology email from the hotel, basically saying they will try better next time. I would expect more from a Marriot property.

We have stayed here several times in the past. The 2 bedroom suite fits our needs very nicely. This last time though, the central living area had the distinct smell of urine. My guess is someone's pet had an accident. The hotel is pretty new to be having such a thing. I would just recommend housekeeping take a sniff test, before another guest comes in.

NOT Pet Friendly
We had issues all through our stay. It was actually about a week long. They convinced me to moved from paying Hotels.com to direct paying them. Once I did, they kicked me out of the hotel. They said my cats (2) were too smelly. They are supposed to be pet friendly. There were a million barking dogs on my floor, but my litter box smelled. I guess I probably shouldn’t have had it next to the tile floor near the door. I thought it would be easier clean up for the staff, instead I got kicked out of this Pet friendly hotel.

Everything was really good except for the air conditioner. It rattled all night long, waking us up constantly. And it was so loud that we had to really turn up the T.V. in order to hear it. But everything else was really nice, the room size and cleanliness was perfect and the service was great. I did tell the staff at check out about the problem, so I hope they get that fixed.

Back again, & happy.
We have actually stayed here 13 years ago when we were first shopping for houses in Anthem. Now we have sold our home in Anthem and decided to come here and stay again. It's very nice it's great to see all the trees have flourished pool area is absolutely beautiful we love the lights at night we love the ability to sit outside and have our breakfast or hang out in the afternoon or evening.
The front desk was extremely helpful. I requested a roll in shower for ease because I am having difficulty getting around and it was 100% excellent and ready to go. We both appreciate the 12:00 checkout time and absolutely like the fact that you can check in at 3:00 p.m. it's nice that the rooms have separate bathroom and bedroom and then a completely full kitchen and TV room area. We have had a great stay we wish you could stay longer we will be back thank you

My stay was on a holiday weekend so even though it seemed a bit pricey I suppose this is to be expected. I was in town for business and was relieved to find out that they had an overnight security detail that patrols the parking areas as I had many valuables that I was forced to leave with my vehicle. Room was excellent. Clean, comfortable mattress, etc. Staff was very friendly as well. Would definitely stay at this location again.

I was very pleased with my stay. Upon check-in, the staff was friendly & made me feel welcomed. The room was very clean & spacious. The breakfast was decent but not much of a variety such as waffles or pancakes. Overall, I was satisfied & would stay here again.

Great location and nice place to stay!
Staff was friendly and very helpful, room was very comfortable. Bed was a little firm, but overall great place to stay. It was a very good location for our visit, took many day trips out to the North and West, it was a great location for those day trips, easy access to the I17 and other roads with scenic drives.

This was not a good stay, no one cleaned our room between days, needed extra towels and the hotel said they were out of clean towels and didnt get any for us the entire rest of our stay. Couldnt get a luggage rack when i showed up, the guy went looking and of course couldnt find any so we made 10 trips up and down. Just really disappointing and no one cared that all of this was happening.

Good stay overall. Late with breakfast.
The only negative was that the breakfast wasn’t fully ready until about an hour and a half after it started. There was no toaster for the bread nor milk for the cereal. They did eventually bring it out after I was finishing.

Horrible experience from this brand of hotel!
The hotel stunk like dog, my room smelled like dog so bad that i had to buy candles to mask the scent. I had to request fresh bedding because my sheets smelled and had hair all over the sheets.

Super clean palace!
Beautiful and incredibly spacious room. Kitchen had all the amenities! Even though we only needed a one night stay, the kitchen was impressive (full size fridge!). My biggest criteria for a hotel is cleanliness and this place was IMMACULATE!

We were supposed to stay 6 nights and only stayed one. The rooms were outdated and smelled like smoke. The pool is shared between another hotel which allows for about 3 hours of direct sun at the pool. People smoking and playing loud music at the pool. Breakfast was just wrapped pastries and yogurt that wasn't replenished so by the time we got there at 8am everything was gone. Gym closed down due to COVID (though other hotels in area were open with mask mandates).. Staff were nice and let us out of our reservation. Definitely will not stay here again

Best hotel on Happy Valley
Very clean. I always re-wipe everything with Lysol wipes wherever I stay. This is the most clean hotel I’ve stayed. Little to no dust picked up on our wipe down. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times with no issues. Check in & check out is super easy with no issues.

Great Hotel in Deer Valley
Hotel is well maintained, friendly staff, good location in Deer Valley. Walkable to shops and dining. The grab-n-go breakfast was the only minus, it consisted of a bottle of water, a small protein bar, and a muffin. Most suite hotels offer a warm sandwich, or yogurts and fruits.

Stayed one night. Beds are firm, but had a good nights rest. If you do not prefer a firm bed, you may not have a good nights sleep. Like the layout because it feels more like a home instead of a hotel. Would stay here again.

We liked the size of the room. We had stayed here before. There were many problems. When we checked in we had half a roll of toilet paper, a nearly empty kleenex box, 1 huge pan ( no frying pan) and 1 towel. We called the front desk and he said that was normal. He did bring towels up. The next day we noticed there was not hot water in the kitchen sink. We called the front desk and the woman said she would call maintenance, but nobody ever showed up, so we had no hot water in the kitchen or the use of the dishwasher the entire 4 days. She did bring kleenex and a frying pan. We went on Saturday morning to check out at 4:10 AM. There was nobody there. I called on the phone and there was no answer. I knocked on the office door and no one answered. We waited 10 minutes and tried again but no luck. At this point we put the keys on the desk and left. We would have done better paying half the price and staying at Motel 6.

The hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. Our bedroom was very small with hardly any room to move around it. Room#309. There was no maid service due to Covid which was understandable. There was a nice BBQ area with plenty of seating. Great location near shopping and restaurants.

Everything was great, the room was very spacious and very clean as was the entire hotel. My only complaint is the shower temperature. It took some time to figure out how to get it right, it was to cold then to hot and finally after about 5 minutes it was right.

First of all bugs in the room. False advertising of hot breakfast; only a sack with nothing good in it. Went down for another cup of coffee because the stuff in the room was awful. Was told we could not have more even though the breakfast time was not over. Garbage all over the halls because no maid service. People cooking in the rooms flooding the hallways with strong smells. Some rude people to deal with at the counter. The pool is one of the main things we want when we travel. Closed both Saturday and Sunday. Maybe after covid it might return to a good hotel, but till then stay away! False advertising on their part; they should tell you on the website what to expect.

Amid COVID concerns so many places were hyper cleaned. This hotel didn’t get the memo, my feet were filthy after walking on the carpet and floors. There is no housekeeping also due to COVID concerns. If you need something we were directed to call the desk and the needs would be left outside the door. Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone. The hallway was filled with overloaded trash cans, left overnight before they were picked up.
There was a homeless person with mental health issues living in the parking lot, in a car. He would rant, spew profanities and wander around.
There is a kitchen with a 2 burner stove, dishwasher, microwave and full size refrigerator.
The hotel is close to amenities

I liked the place I was staying at because it had a kitchenette. I was able to get my meals to go and I ate in my room. I didn't like having to go to the front desk to ask for toilet paper as if everyone that stays there steals the stuff. When I checked into the room there was only a half roll of toilet paper and no extras at all in the room. Also, the room has a thermostat that is motion sensitive and if you are not in the room, it can get very warm when a person comes in from temps of over 100 degrees outside and it takes time to cool down.

Having the kitchen area in the room was a definite plus.
We stayed for 8 nights and on two of the mornings our room was not cleaned. We had gone for breakfast and left the "later please" sign on our door and when we went out for the day we removed the sign. The cleaning staff was working on the floor when we went for breakfast. I guess if your room was not available for cleaning while the staff were doing the floor, they did not check back later. I feel this should have been explained ahead of time as it was not convenient to have to get clean towels etc. at night when we returned to our room. However, the night staff was very apologetic and helpful.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. When I made the reservation, I requested a room on the top floor, and I even called the week prior to my visit to confirm my request. I was told that a room was reserved as requested and should likely be available upon check-in, unless there is some unexpected problem. However, when I arrived they did not have any rooms on the top floor available and did not even have a record of my request. The heat also did not work well in my room, so it was very cold all night. The WiFi was very intermittent and I lost connections multiple times for at least 30 minutes or more each time. I have stayed at comparable hotels in the area that are much nicer than this one, and more worth the money.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Property is clean and quiet and good value for the price. Conveniently located near shopping and food. Suites are not particulary large but adequate for up to 2 people. Room had a stove top and microwave but no oven so in room cooking options are limited. Very good breakfast with some evening social events where food was served.

This is a beautiful hotel. Our room was a suite with a small kitchen, desk, table, queen bed and sleeper sofa, bathroom and large closet. The coffee was good, and the breakfast buffet was large, healthy, and varied a bit from day to day.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel gives you the option to decline housekeeping on any given day if you don't need it. It has many amenities. I used the laundry room ($1 per wash, $1per dry, $1 per packet of detergent). We also used the pool and hot tub, which are outdoors. We happened to be in Phoenix on the only day of the year when the weather was freezing. The pool was not yet heated, because they hadn't gotten it inspected yet, but it normally is in the winter.
I got this room for $99 a night on Expedia. That was a really good deal for the quality of hotel. I have paid $95 for rooms that were much less luxurious.
