Staff were friendly and the location was great. Unfortunately, our entire floor, including our room, smelled like marijuana smoke throughout our stay. When we alerted the front desk at check-out, we were informed it was a non-smoking hotel. It was disappointing to have smells from other rooms entering our space throughout our stay.

Everything was in walking distance. I did the breakfast voucher with the hotel and the breakfast food was horrible. How can you go wrong with cooking eggs?

the bathroom was amazing, it felt very spa like. the balconies are not accessible, which is disappointing. i like the darker color schemes in the room and building. rich and cozy. many things in the neighborhood to see. do, eat, and drink. i'll be back!

Front desk staff is super attentive and polite. The entire building including the room was very clean and smelled good. Also, the location was perfect. I’ll be back for sure!

Amazing stay! For almost half the price of nearby hotels like the Marriot or Loews, Eurostars still have luxury and convenience. Super friendly staff, super clean and the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable.

We like the shower head being directly overhead rather than spring into your face. We also like the view from our room. We didn't like that there were too many restaurant choices. :-)

Great room large bathroom and shower, mini fridge as well. Clean and comfortable easy check in and not a far walk to downtown. Few restaurants around and a 7/11 across the road.

The property should not be considered 4 stars. The room was small, shower was missing a door, bathroom door wouldnt close all the way and the blinds were tattered. Hotel staff provided incorrect information on what times breakfast broucher can be used. Cleaning service didnt take the trash out. On Dec 31st night hotel staff was extremely rude to me and my partner asking us to show our key cards. They did not inform us ahead of yime that each person staying in the room needed a key card to enter the elevator and then the security guard argued with us over and over again to show our key cards when in fact we had one to get into the room. The staff fell short on providing notice on their policies and the room fell short on being decent as it didnt even have an A/C controller that would allow us to have a fan. All in all, waste of money.

I returned to this hotel multiple times because ive really enjoyed the attentive and friendliness of the staff. I picked this hotel to spend my NYE at for this reason. However, the staff was very aggressive about requesting key cards for entry to the point that it was uncomfortable. I won’t be returning, especailly for a big event.

Would recommend for business or adult travel
The hotel is very nice, but the bathroom door didn’t fully shut, the shades do not darken the room and the beds were just okay. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, the view was great and the bathroom fixtures & water pressure were great. Restaurants nearby were also good for people with dietary restrictions.

I stayed at this hotel when it first opened as Dana Hotel, and I will tell you that it is definitely not the same anymore. It’s not clean anymore, smells like marijuana the majority of the stay - I asked for additional toilet paper and never received them. The phone in the room didn’t work, I notified the front desk and no one came to check it. My husband and I turned on the heat and it smelled like urine so we turned it off throughout our whole stay. Valet service was great! Sad to say, we will not be returning to this hotel. I had a great experience my first stay, but this time with new management I cannot say the same.

The staff was outstanding, helpful and kind. The room was not in great condition- the refrigerator corner was broken, the table top was barely hanging on, the bed had a big sunken hole in the middle, the tv was on the side wall and did not pivot which made viewing very difficult (had to crane our necks), the bathroom door didn't close, and the furnace made loud noises throughout the night. Property including lobby and bar were both nice. I would stay here again in a different room!

I absolutely love this property, the hotel was amazing and Robert at front desk - he was wonderful, treated me so good and took care of me while I stayed here for a week for my birthday. This hotel is so convenient around so many stores and restaurants. I will definitely come back because of Robert and how clean and quiet my stay was.

I never stayed at a hotel with excellent customer service, clean and quiet room, great food. 10 out of 10. Highly recommended. Will most definitely book again upon my next trip to Chicago. They even upgrade my room with no extra charge.

Great….but….
Everything was great…was even able to check in early….with the exception of the weed smell on the elevators which they were on hands with taking care of and very mild smell coming into the rooms.

I loved this hotel! The ambiance is beautiful. My room had a beautiful view with floor to ceiling windows and the bed was sooo comfortable! All the staff that worked at the desk were very nice. There’s plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and the restaurant on the first floor is nice as well. My only cons were parking was expensive per day so I’d suggest researching cheaper options before you go (I parked in a garage 8 min walk from hotel) & there is no microwave in the room or on site. Everything else was perfect! I would absolutely stay again.

The hotel was very clean and smelled so good. They front desk people were so nice and gave us an early check in, complimentary wine for my birthday. The hotel is in walking distant to shopping and good food. The only think i did not care for was the shower didn't have a door that closed so some water did get in the bathroom floor but thats just my preference. I will definitely be back

We loved our stay but the constant noise of the firefighter trucks was hard to sleep through. They were constant all night long. I probably wouldn't stay here again because of that. We love the breakfast downstairs! We will be visiting that place again.

This hotel seemed to be really nice I was super excited to celebrate my boyfriends birthday there but the staff was just rude from checkin in to check out not saying everyone that works here is mean but the majority of them are not nice. Security came to my room at 3 am because my boyfriends friend had to help him to room accusing me of smoking (I have asthma I can’t smoke) and saying that I have people in the room across and to keep it down but there was no noise complaint and we weren’t making noise we where getting ready for bed and followed it with saying for me to be honest of how many people I have in my room after I already told him the honest number I felt very discriminated against. Also Expedia didn’t list that the balcony was closed and they didn’t inform me at check in.

I love the modern design of the rooms and the ambiance of the hotel. I especially love the floor to ceiling windows and hard wood floors. The hotel and room was clean. It was also quiet. I never heard any other guests.The staff was polite, helpful and greeted us with smiles every time we encountered them. Eurostar Magnificent Mile is our go to hotel whenever any of my family visits the Chicago area.

Nice hotel, room clean, good bath product.
The only hic is that I asked for high floor on my request and they didn’t fulfill it. Whereas my collegue got high floor whithout any request.
Also, you hear the metro (red line) even on 9th floor and all the street noises. Very thin window.

Everything about the hotel- was smooth, check in- room service- hotel staff- and check out. Hotel was nice and clean.
It is conveniently located in all the popular tourist spots, and everything is within walking distance.. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic location and easy to get to. Great room with a nice hotel bar and restaurant. The elevator was a bit shakey tho and the shower ceiling had a little bit of mold on it. Overall room was very clean and service was great.

Bad experience
I was shocked that my room had no towels. I had to request and wait a long time to receive it. Also, this hotel doesn't have free Wifi. It's 2023, wifi should be accessible everywhere. I would not book again.
