Was not told restaurant was being renovated. Had temporary dining in a conference room with a small portable bar set up. More like a conference than a dining experience or even bar atmosphere. Seemed thrown together. For room price I was not impressed. More 100 dollar a night than 200

Hotel room was nice and comfortable. Sounds echos down halls and through rooms. WiFi is not free. Area around hotel was scenic and within walking distance to a taproom/restaurant.

Where there right before Christmas, checked out on Christmas Eve. They had these “scent” machines in the hallways that were overpowering and causing us to sneeze while we were in the hotel. Go outside fine, inside sneezing, watering eyes…living off Allegra while there.
No noise control by staff. There was a wedding going on and they were in the halls late making a lot of noise.
For the most part fine but get rid of the scent crap.

The wellington bar/restaurant had the absolute worst service I've ever seen in my life. They gave our order to a different table, we told them what happened, and then they tried to serve us that table's food in exchange. When I explained that I wanted what I actually ordered, they gave us bad attitude. They messed the entire order up, on the day of my buddy's wedding at the hotel. They even took an order of 3 pancakes away (because I only ordered a side of one pancake) and brought back a single pancake then tried to serve the remaining two to the other table with the obvious imprint of the powdered sugar where they'd removed mine. Complete disaster all around.

Although the property was in good condition, there was definitely room for improvement. Their convenience store by the front desk charged $11 for a cup of soup which is ridiculous. Completely overpriced. The staff was friendly.

Everyone was great and place was very clean. No issues other than the handicapped parking Is far away and parking in front is for valet. That should be for handicapped. And valet is $20 to park in front of the entrance. I have leg issues and can’t walk that far. However I asked the valet and was accommodated with no issues of parking up front with my placards displayed. Very pleasant stay and the bed was very comfortable as I am very picky about mattresses! A wonderful 10/10!

Parking is far from hotel. The breakfast was not worth it (old and dry, no milk selection other than whole milk, the quality and quality of the food is poor). We had to ask her multiple times for milk, coffee and water. The breakfast buffet does not supply juice. The price of the breakfast does not include the service charge.
When checking out I was surprised with a bill of a service charge for the breakfast for $21 which was a mistake that they later fixed.
The hotel room floors were not clean (lots of pet hair)
Overall I do not recommend this hotel nor the breakfast they offer.

My stay was awful because they never told us what the additional charge for the dog was until we had been in our room for five hours and then told us it was an additional $150 we would’ve never stayed there if we had known that

The property and the guest rooms are well maintained and clean. The staff was polite however, our stay was over a weekend and there were at least three wedding events at the hotel over the course of Friday and Saturday.
Upon our check in on Friday evening, a portion of the wedding ceremony was taking place right in the lobby, in front of the main entrance doors, (blocking the doors) and check-in desk. We felt very uncomfortable trying to make our through the ceremony, toting our luggage to make our way to the check-in desk. The loading/unloading parking was occupied by valet parked cars and we had to walk from the guest parking area, which is not adjacent to the building with all our bags.
I understand that this hotel is known for hosting weddings and corporate events however, it was very unaccommodating for the other guest checking in and simply trying to enter or exit the hotel. I called the front desk to on Saturday to see if there was another access point we could use so we would not interfere with the wedding parties, which were taking pictures, videos and gathering in the main lobby and there was no other entrance except through the indoor pool facility. Again, the hotel is very nice but the events overtook our stay and we were simply not comfortable.

Insanely LOUD- over crowded
Hotel: Loud and busy. 4 Wedding receptions going on until 2am. You couldn’t sleep with the walls vibrating from the DJ blasting music all into the early morning. Crazy that a huge, semi fancy, hotel like that runs their business that way.

I was satisfied the staying until checked-out. I moved my car to valet parking spot for loading easily before check-out as checked-in day. When I got the hotel, a valet guy said it was okay just short time(less than 15min) for checked-in. So I did the same way. But a valet guy made me to move my car to middle of loading site and asked me to give him car key even I told him I will be back less than 15min. But he insisted in i had to give the key him. There was written loading for 15min. I am very upset because I explained him I just checked out and left. But looks like he did not believe. Actually I did not need to move my car when I park the valet parking spot because it was 8am on Saturday. It was not busy time and there were many of empty spots in valet parking. Of course , I came back to car within 15min. I was disappointed the situation. And the checked out also made me very disappointed. When I checked out, the front dest staff.said the system was down so if I wrote my email address, she would send the receipt via email. So I wrote my email and left. Later I received a email but I might delete it because there is weird subtitle. So I thought it was spam. She supposed to write clearly Marriott sent the receipt as subtitle. I hesitated to open the attached file.

I stay here 4-5 times each year for extended business trips. The beds are comfortable. The service is great. The gym is exceptionally well equipped. Restaurant service is good and the food is above average for a quality hotel. The grounds are beautiful, and there are paved jogging trails that loop all of the government buildings across the street. WiFi is free if you sign up for a free Marriott Bonfoy membership.
The only downsides are that there is no onsite laundry and the A/C can be a little finicky at night. For longer stays it would be nice to have access to a washer/dryer. For shorter stays, no big deal.
I noticed on this trip that they had upgraded the thermostats so it looks like they’re working through that issue.
My family flew out for the weekend at the end of my 12-day business trip. They were also impressed and comfortable.

Great dinner, not so good breakfast service
Beautiful hotel, service at dinner was wonderful, however breakfast was not. Buffet was closed, only one server, he told us to choose a sear, 3 other tables sat after us. When he finally came over after quite a while, he said he wasnt sure who came first and started taking other’s orders. We had movers coming and ended up having to leave without eating and had already prepaid for our breakfast with our room. Hotel wouldn't comp since we booked through Hotels.com. For such a nice hotel, was surprised to find small crunchy towels and no extra towels. No full-length mirror in room. The bed was comfy.

The staff overall was incredible! Such AMAZING service! They really try to go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable! And the beds were SO comfy! Also loved the fact that they had a place for recycling in the room too!
The property is BEAUTIFULLY maintained and is relatively close to Washington D.C.! Can't wait to go back!

The property is very quiet private and beautiful. Staff were fantastic as well. Wellington's had fantastic food, it was a little more expensive than a typical restaurant pricing but the portions were sizable as well. The amenities were very nice, however, very inconvenient to get to. The gym and pool were in the basement on the far East wing. You also have to go down two flights of steps to get to. We had a stroller so that was not fun. The Spa tub was small for the size of the hotel only fitting 3 adults. Again beautiful tile throughout, and we never had to wait long to use the tub. Would stay again but stay on the East wing unless you dont mind a 10 minute walk to the pool.

Westfields is a large gem of a hotel, tucked away in a small quiet quadrant of otherwise busy Fairfax County. One has a feeling of being in a country retreat rather than a city hotel. The staff was exceptional. Knowledgeable, pleasant, cooperative, and just simply nice are words which best describes the staff, at all levels of the complex.

Nice hotel, but very dated. Needs an overhaul especially for the area the hotel resides. Still has bath/shower combo, no walk-in shower. Old, stained carpet, and furniture throughout hotel. Bathroom is small, but I appreciate the two sink areas, just need more toiletries for both sinks.

The wedding we attended at the hotel, was perfect! From the ceremony all the way through the Buffay dinner! The Buffay dinner was outstanding, the service was outstanding! It’s too bad the hotel only has one restaurant, and the food from the restaurant was absolutely horrible, heaviest, overcooked, and very limited in choices! Breakfast ends at 11 AM, we could not order anything after 1105 only calls! I said what about room service or lunch, they said the restaurant is closed! They did not offer one it was going to open and when we ordered breakfast the next day there is no room service!! You had to go to the front desk and pick up your food order!! I don’t know how they survived without any criticism for these terrible areas! We couldn’t get any food to eat after 11 AM! They recommended restaurants that were five and 10 minutes away, come on really very very poor service I would not recommend this place at all to anyone. Stay away

Once a great hotel..now just Ho-Hum
This hotel, at one time, was a great hotel. Now it is an average run of the mill dated hotel. Don't let the grand looking pictures online fool you. The rooms are in need of a serious update and while I was there my A/C was struggling (and it was only 80 degrees out). The good thing about this place is its less than IAD so you can get the heck out of Northern Virginia pretty fast.

Under staffed and not 4 stars
I booked 5 weeks prior to stay- 2 rooms - upon arrival they stated they overbooked- they could give me another room with a rollout bed- at no charge. Bar- restaurant not open - ordered out and the breakfast buffet was very sad- more choices at a complimentary breakfast at other hotels - this family trip was horrible and a waste of my hard earned money -

Nice but not worth the price
Hotel was very clean and quiet. Pool and exercise room was a big plus and had them to ourselves. Downside is unless your a member then you get charged for WiFi and it’s a little walk to your car. We also bought sodas from the lobby only to find out they was flat.

We planned a conference at this hotel and it was truly amazing, the encore and events team were all so detail oriented and kind it may the planning process amazing. Also the business center on site is a dream, totally saved the day. front desk also a great. all employees that I encountered at this hotel really made the experience worthwhile can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely fantastic! I needed a one night stay in the area while I was down for a friend’s bridal shower, and came across the Westfields Marriott. It looked nice from the pictures and the price was right. I got into town a few hours before check in technically starts, but I spoke to the front desk and was able to check in early with no problems. The front desk associates were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful inside and well taken care of all around. My room was very clean and bright and the bed was so comfortable. All around I had a fabulous experience and would definitely stay again if I need to be in the area in the future.

Stayed there for 2 nights, However I made the wrong reservation and was promised it would be cancelled. Spent several hours on the phone with expedia and Marriott Westfield to try to cancel it. I was promised it would be cancelled. But it never happened and I spent 150 some dollars for nothing. Thanks for the run around.

A nice hotel near the Air & Space museum
This Marriott is a convention hotel. Lots of open spaces inside including a nice bar and restaurant. Great service, nice typical room, and friendly staff. Also a nice gym and indoor pool. Very quiet as we stayed immediately following Christmas.

They give away rooms when larger parties show up
They gave away my room to a wedding party. I had 17 days booked. They said no rooms available then said they could make a room available for one night after I expressed how upset I was. Yet there apparently were no available rooms. Would never stay at this hotel when they give away a booked room just to make a large wedding party happy.

It’s pretty but the parking situation is horrendous.
This is our fourth and probably last time here. We always get a room that involves a two mile hike to get there.
The bathroom was not clean. Body hair ON THE COUNTER and bathroom floor. Omg. I carry wipes with me so cleaned the bathroom myself since it was late and I didn’t feel like going through the hassle but would like to know how often the bathrooms are actually cleaned. Not pleased for $177 room.

Very quiet. Nice landscape. Love the memorial plate and 2 planted trees for 2 associates of Marriott whom gave them lives at 9-11 in NY. Love it. ...But walking from the parking to hotel at night...sprinkles are an adventure!!!

My family and I enjoyed our 5 day stay at Westfields Marriott. The hotel was centrally located with everything being around 25 min away. It is kept super clean and the property is beautifully lush, adorned with trees. The Wellingtons Restaurant located in the lobby has great options with friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Property was beautiful, however the room we had was an inordinate distance from the elevator and even the elevator was a long distance from the registration desk. We are also unhappy with the hotel as they charged us for internet which we never used and even after the deskman said he would remove the charge !!

Unfortunately a bad experience…
Unfortunately we had a bad experience at this Hotel.
For being a 4 star hotel we really thought that we would have a great time there, but that was not the case.
Bedding and pillows smelled pretty bad, even after requesting to replace them it would still have a very weird smell! First bedding and pillows had a kind of wet dog smell, just very weird! And the second bedding and pillows had a mold smell which was pretty bad for our little girl who have asthma!
The room was also very dusty!
Rooms were also very noisy!
We had a bad experience with the restaurant as well, service was very slow, we felt that the servers seemed not make any effort to take orders!
