Okay visit not quite meeting expectations
Room was great. Clean and fresh. Nothing chipped or broken. Room service was so-so. Food was fine, but there were no napkins or plates included with our pizza. Lounge service was so-so. Server took our order and did not return until she brought the bill. Also messed up the order. And no - things were not busy, she was chatting with the bartender.

Great airport option
We booked this hotel for an overnight layover and it worked perfectly. Nice and clan rooms and an efficient airport shuttle.

the front office attendant (i am sorry have misplaced her name) was friendly and efficient upon check in. in addition, she was helpful in providing other hotel information to assist with my stay.
silvia (hope i’ve remembered her name correctly) in the restaurant was just fantastic! she is very thorough and thoughtful in her service delivery. she made my dinner experience after a long day of travel comforting and delightful!

Needed somewhere after flight cancelled…
LOVED this hotel! So beautiful, clean and comfy! I did not enjoy the lady at the front counter. She wasn’t very friendly but it was 12am, so maybe that had something to do with it. Had to find some where last minute due to our flight being cancelled due to the weather. Happy I chose this Hotel.

Front desk staff not very friendly. When inquiring about using a different credit card for the incidentals and a debit card to pay for the room, they said they were unable to do that which is entirely untrue as credit card authorization forms are sent out all the time.

Air conditioning it was 117 degrees in Phoenix there was a extreme heat advisory for Arizona every where we went Our room was clean staff was friendly we ate our meats at their restaurant food was good We would have users the pool but it was outside in the hot sun but facility were cleanse and nice looking

The desk person was not very personable nor could think out of the box about my two room reservation. There was no refrigerator and we were told one would be delivered, which we never got. The ice makers on floors 1-6 did not work.

Too noisy.
The building is very old. The joining room doors need to be replaced with thicker doors to reduce the sound in the other room. The person in the next room was breathing hard/snoring, and it sounded like it was in the same room with me. I could hear the people chewing food. The street cars also kept me up.

Over priced and overrated. Disinterested staff (except room service), Cocktails $23 ,ea. Charged to use internet. Other than having a standard walk up bar and cafe, no better than a Choice hotel. Oh, and the refrigerator was missing. Cost over $300 per night.

We were in room 500 and it was mid day. We had just checked in from the airport and we’re trying to nap, however we were right next to a “service/ storage room” and the door kept opening and closing and it was very very squeaky. It made napping impossible which isn’t a huge deal… but maybe you should consider oiling the door.

The shuttle drive was excellent. Got to my room and the refrigerator was missing and the room was too warm. Called the desk a tech delivered and installed a refrigerator and got the coiling going. Very very quick servive.

Not as advertised
No mountain view on lower floors...i asked if our room on 2nd floor had a mountain view on check in and they assured me yes...it did not. When i inquired about an alternate room, staff said "we are completely booked." No refrigerator in room. Was clean, bed comfortable. Housekeeping and restaurant staff wonderful. Will not stay here again, though.

Staff was inconsiderate when I checked in. They gave me a room with one king bed instead of the 2 queen beds I booked. When I said it was not okay and they should do something about it, they said I booked through a third party and they were unwilling. I let them know they shouldn’t sell their rooms on Expedia then if they are going to treat their guests differently. It was very important we have 2 beds. The couch ended up being the other bed b/c they left a rollaway bed that wouldn’t fit put down (expected us to put it down as well as put sheets on it). It was terrible.

Didn't get the room we reserved. We reserved a room with 2 queen beds, we had 3 adults in our party. We received a king bed with a pull out couch. The room was clean and quiet. Not sure I would go back or use Expedia again

It's a fairly standard Marriott. However, I have to give them props for working with us under difficult circumstances during the Southwest Airlines Meltdown of 2022. We were able to get a room outside of the usual check-in/check-out time frame and really appreciated that deeply.

No one was able to adjust thermostat to give us heat. I slept in my clothes and m my husband's jacket.

Okay but poor customer service
I chose this hotel as it offered room service. Once I got to the room there was no menu. I call Jimmy at the front desk and and he argued with me about where the menu “should be” and I kept telling him there was not one in the room. I asked if one could be brought up and be refused stating he was the only person working and could not leave the desk. I asked if Hoise keeling could bring it. He said they all left for the day so I asked if room service could bring one and he said “ I can not ask him to do that”. I asked to be transferred to room service and the phone was disconnected. Along the conversation somewhere he told me he needed to help other guest. I ended up going down stairs to get a menu and when I arrived at the front desk he was on his cell phone and no other customers in sight.He reluctantly left the front desk to get a menu for me.
I also asked fo speak to a manager and he states “ they are all on vacation”. ALL of them at a major hotel in a major city by the airport? Either Jimmy was lying or the hotel needs to support him better!!

the hotel is gorgeous, appears new. The staff is awesome - friendly, helpful and attentive. The room was also pretty great, with the exception of two things:
1. the bathroom counter top is missing caulk and has large gaps around the edges
2. shower water pressure was NON-existent. My stay was a single night, and it wasn't flowing enough to take a shower.
