I recently stayed at Legacy Vacation Resorts and had a mixed experience that I'd like to share. The highlights of my stay were undoubtedly the friendly front desk agents and impeccable customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome.
The cleanliness of the rooms was another positive aspect of my stay. Housekeeping did an excellent job, and I felt comfortable and assured that the hotel prioritized hygiene.
However, the downside was the outdated decor throughout the room. While the refrigerator stood out as a modern touch, everything else seemed to belong to a different era. The furniture, fixtures, and overall design screamed for an update. It left the impression that the hotel hadn't undergone a significant refresh in quite some time.
I believe the rooms could benefit greatly from a modernization effort. The addition of contemporary furnishings, updated color schemes, and newer amenities would contribute to a more comfortable and aesthetically pleasing experience for guests.
On a positive note, the grounds of the hotel were a stark contrast to the aging interior. The outdoor spaces were well maintained and visually appealing. It was evident that the hotel took pride in creating a pleasant environment for guests to enjoy. Legacy Vacation Resorts has the potential to be a top-notch accommodation with a few upgrades.

Perfect place for families! It was so clean and the rooms were absolutely huge! The kitchen appliances are modern and it’s really nice having a full size kitchen, dining room and living room. The grounds are gorgeous, really nice pool area and bbq area. You are walking distance to European village. We loved that you can walk right from your room to a walking path that goes for miles and miles.
Everyone we meet walking was super friendly. We loved the area and the hotel. It is an older property so the bathrooms are outdated but there is a HUGE soaker tub in the master bedroom so bring some bubble bath. I wish we would stayed longer!

Great stay!
Easy check in process, comfy beds, all things needed for our stay we had. Loved the walking path to the water and the amenities by the huge, heated, pool!

My room was extremely outdated. The shower in the master bedroom was a joke. It was tiny and super uncomfortable. You cant turn on the water without closing the shower door first, and the water takes forever to get hot.

Great value but I didn’t know that check out was at 10. While at breakfast they gathered up my things and brought them to the front desk. Would have appreciated a call first. Check in was excellent.

Perfect location for us to meet up with family nearby. We love the heated pool, hot tub, grill area, mini golf, and game room for the grandkids to enjoy.
The rooms were clean, beds comfortable.
The kitchen dishes, utensils, appliances were well stocked for our needs.
The only difficulty was the larger bedroom only had mini blinds, no curtains, too much light coming through the room all night.
Outdoor safety lights stay on all night, which is great but having an eye/sleep mask would be helpful to get some rest.
Palm Coast is a beautiful area. 🙂

While it was a little dated, the staff was really friendly and considering the cost, it was a great deal. Having a full kitchen and lots of room, worked well for us because we were gone all day each day and only ate and slept at the property.

This is my fifth time staying at Legacy Resorts and it sure won't be my last time. The staff are amazing and the rooms are spacious and large enough for a family stay. The area is quiet and secure and parking is available at each site.

its ok but needs improvement
The place is ok,the issue is that nobody tells you on the booking that is no housekeeping included,the charged us a @ resort fee”🙄 every day and didnt offer not even a bottle of water,very little supplies(one soap,2 packs of sugar and one of coffee),the rooms are like 40 years old,beds are noisy and hard,there is no charging stations for electric cars,for the same money we could have gotten a beach”resort”,not a bad place to stay ,we come here very often because we are building a home and i woudnt mind returning if they offer a bit more economical amenities like water,breakfast supplies and toiletries

Rocky start, but staff was wonderful
The front office staff are very nice and helpful. They assigned us a room, however our keys didn't work so I returned to the office and they made new keys. One of them even returned t9 the room with me to make sure the new keys worked. The new keys did work, but someone else was already staying in that room and they were shocked when we opened their door. We were moved to another room. The new room had an amazing 2 person shower! You can tell renovations have been done, but the unit still has an older feel. The doors are old, the trim is old. Great place for a short stay.

I wanted to like this place because it is an interesting property with nice activities and features, but the room I received had very tattered furnishings, including a couch in such rough shape I didn't even want to sit on it. The general cleanliness of the room was subpar too. While it is a very convenient location for me and I have reason to use this place again, I'm no longer sure I will return.

They stole my toothbrush.
I booked it as a full condo hotel which it was. Its very outdated and needs a serious makeover but it served its purpose. Unfortunately i forgot my very expensive toothbrush which i was later told WAS in lost and found. I was told she would call back the following day to give the the shipping costs to return the toothbrush. Ahe never called back. Well after 6 more phone calls over the course of a week, i was told the toothbrush was GONE. STOLEN. So make a sure you dont leave anything behing because it will be stolen for good. Very disappointed.

The location is in a very quiet area and so easy to get to and out of in the morning. Staff are just the nicest people you will meet and they will take care of anything you need. The rooms are wonderful with lots of room for a family and has everything you would need.

The amenities need updates/replaced. One out of two gas fire tables worked. Ping pong table and paddles in terrible condition. Billiard sticks need replaced.

The new sorority hangout
I used to stay here all the time wjth my family. Chrissy at the front desk is AWESOME. She’s takes the extra steps to be sure you feel right at home. The biggest mistake this place made is allowing college KIDS to long term stay. They are loud, bounce from unit to unti like it’s a frat party, save all the chairs at the pool and play their own loud music. We won’t be back after our most recent stay. Also talking to other adults at the pool that OWN time shares here, we are not the only people appalled by what they turned this resort into

Fantastic! Clean comfortable large units. In process of updating units. Ours was not updated but very nice in my opinion. The pool area is fantastic, the surrounding area is great.
Chrissy and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
You are about a half hour to St. Augustine and Daytona area beaches. I would definitely stay again.
The units are fully equipped with kitchen needs. Allowed us to eat in instead of going out all the time.

The apartments are very large with two bedrooms so a family would love it. the staff (Krisi) was amazing in communication as she called me as I was running late due to delayed flights to see if I was doing okay and if she could help in any way. I have a new property I oversee now and will be returning to Legacy every time!

The communication was great. Check in and check out was easy. Staff was friendly. There was things to do on the property, swim, mini golf, bike rentals. We did not do any of them. Plenty of room in our suite. Convenient location. Very out dated. Needs major updating. However, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Paradise in Palm Coast!
Highly recommend this place. We like the layout of the property, the friendly staff, activities available, rooms are spacious and clean and pool area is always beautiful and clean! Only suggestion I would have is to make the dryers in the units match the size of the washers. The washers hold twice the amount of clothes the dryer does and it took two cycles of 70 mins on high to get a small load of clothes dry.

Great suite for a family with kids!
The property has been renovated, and for the most part it was done well. It's cozy and comfortable, not super fancy, but very family friendly! Lots of activities, the pool area was nice and big, everyone could spread out a bit. The two room suite was perfect for a larger family, and made our stay easy and smooth!

Palm Coast resort staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Really made us feel welcomed. Resort is very clean and well kept. Very comfortable. A few ammenities in the rooms are a little dated but the rooms were very clean, and everything was in working order. This was a good value.

My husband and I loved this property and thought it is one of the better properties we have ever stayed in, and we travel a lot! The beautiful property inside and out and the lovely surrounding area along with the great price and all of amenities is why we chose this property over others that we were looking at on Expedia! The property is OK. I had issues accessing the unit for 2 straight days, the batteries on automatic entry mechanism were defective. I had to wait for almost 30 minutes to get access to the room. The master room had no curtains to block the lights and glare from outside. The Master bathroom shower was leaking, the bar sink was also leaking. The TV volume/speakers on living room was defective. The unit definitely needs upgrades. The sofa bed was stained and very uncomfortable.

It wasn't bad for the price. But what completely removed the possibility of a 5-star rating was the lighting, not only in the rooms but in the overall property in general. I have no idea who is in charge of the aesthetics of this place but they have no clue what they are doing.
Every single light bulb in our room was 5000K or over. I and my girlfriend wanted a retreat from our office lifestyle. What they did here was truly unforgivable. We were privileged to stay at 5 different resorts over 2 weeks. All of them had similar layouts to one degree or another.
This location was the last resort we chose to finish our 2-week vacation. Every resort we stayed at prior to this used warm lighting that gave you an unbelieve feeling of relaxation and ambiance. This blue light was so bad it made everything look drab. From the walls to skin color, nothing felt comfortable unless you shut every light off. The only warm light they used in the entire complex was in the center gazebo. That was the only location that made you feel like you were actually away from work. But once you left there, it was like you were back at some factory. I will not visit again. It was truly a disappointment.
Whoever is in charge of the lighting there must think you can only get proper lighting with 5000K or over which is total incompetence.
There was great customer service here. We can't give this a 1 star. It seems so stupid to have to give a review over lighting. But it is what it is.

From check in to check out it was a pleasure staying here some places give you a hassle checking in, not at legacy they we waiting for me and had me in my suite in 5 min after arriving amenities were right in center of area easily accessible. Plenty to do in the area as well. Will stay again

The staff was extremely helpful after I experienced a delay in receiving my luggage. The luggage issue caused us to arrive later than expected, but the front office helped us to find food that night and a place to find incidentals in the morning. I was in town for a funeral, but they accepted my luggage delivery and contacted me immediately to let me know it was there. The apartment was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Being able to relax in comfort with my family really helped alleviate the stress over my baggage issue.

Legacy Vacation Resorts was very nice for the price! Convenient and clean. Though the condition is a little outdated, everything worked properly! The amenities were also great with the pool, fitness center, and outdoor activities. Would definitely recommend if you're on a budget.

A great place to stay
Overall a great stay. Super close to dining and shopping. Room was a little dated but not unpleasant at all. Two things that would help in the room. Softer lights, harsh white lights whether fluorescent or LED just are hard on the eyes. Second the master bedroom need blackout curtains like all the other rooms. It’s helpful for those of us who would like to sleep past sunrise.
