Property and service was average at best. We stayed for 4 nights and my bill (including room charges) was over 8K. The room was clean and had a great view (booked ocean view) but the entire time my wife and I felt like we were at an "all inclusive" resort where there are massive lines for everything and you are just a number. Spending over 1k a night on rooms and then having to pay for a chair at the pool or beach front is just wrong. Especially when you are competing with what seemed like day passes or membership people who weren't even staying at the hotel. I don't like to complain but I overheard others that weren't happy as well.

Overcrowded and little value
Maybe expectations were too high, but there is nothing fabulous about the resort. Pools are overcrowded with nothing special for the kids except a small slide. You spent most of your time in a queue for towels, drinks, food or reception desk. Beach is nice, but nothing to do with the resort....not mentioning that everything is overpriced with little quality or service.

We loved the variety of things to do at the resort- there was truly something for all tastes and ages to enjoy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pictures on the website do not do the gorgeous beach justice!

The staff were so accommodating & the beach was incredible. Hammocks dotted around for an afternoon repose. The interior design was a delight to the senses, every light fixture, beautiful plants & flowers, even the seating all through out the hotel was a welcoming. This resort was Paradise 💜

The place was very good until the night time when we find out that the shower was leaking water to the outside causing one of my daughters to fell on the floor, my wife found and kill a cucaracha into the room (10th floor) and the A/C was never able to cool the room enough so we can sleep comfortable! Oh mattress on our bed super hard for our like and wood outside of the shower getting rotten apparently from the water spilling out whish I assume is being happening for a while! We ended up packing our stuff and driving back home so we could sleep that night. Lockley for us we live in close by! If you want to go and enjoy the hotel amenities is ok but definitely not to stay! To costly for the quality!

We had worst room in entire hotel/resort. Our “tropical” view room was a view of a forgotten and neglected area of the property with trash everywhere. Not a valid description given on website. Not a good JW Marriott experience

I went here for a girls relaxing Bachelorette weekend. I wasnt prepared for all the extra "tipping" I would have to do. The room was very basic. I do not think it was worth thr nightly cost. For 2 rooms us girls paid over 3000$ just for the room. But the bride had a blast thats all that matters.

Nice room with balcony & ocean view. But, too many families with small kids, running in the hallway late in the evening and early morning. Furniture in Korals are worn out - needs serious makeover. Not everyone can appreciate sushi. An all American menu for Happy hour or early dinner between 4.00-8.00pm would attract different crowds. I ordered pasta w/grilled chicken breast from Maia one evening. The breast tasted rubbery as if it was sometime ago, then took it from the fridge and pre-heat in the microvave. Very disappointing.

Have stayed here 4 times in last 6 years. Resort property is nice, convenient and easy to get around. Service, like a lot of places and businesses, has steadily decreased over the years. I would still recommend staying here but I’d recommend going outside the property for dining. To pay that much for resort dining/drinks/food can’t be justified with the lack of service level.

Less than 5 starts this stay
We come every year for over the past 20 years. They are still remodeling from the hurricane. The service was not as good. Also the choice of food was limited. We actually left property to eat dinners. The television don’t work for a few days. The resort and parking fees add an additional fee which tack on $100 a day when you add tax. Overall not our best stay in terms of service. But always great being right on the beach!

The sunset is probably one of the most beautiful attraction of this hotel and in summer is around 8:20 pm and most of the restaurants close at 9:00pm so, if you stay for sunset you miss the dinner and has to walk out of the hotel to have dinner. That was an inconvenient for the whole stay at the hotel. The rush for dinner

My stay at the hotel was spectacular I was from Sunday to Friday the impeccable service the only thing I saw for how big the hotel is and the people that there are only 2 restaurants at night that you can enter with children most of the nights we had to go outside and another thing pls put on live music I did not see anyone playing and the hotel was full otherwise excellent if they could fix that would be much better thanks

Safe area and beautiful hotel on a wonderful beach. Hotel staff could be better, more welcoming. Concierge recommended a ride service that was awful. Told us it would be difficult to get Uber. We used Uber for the rest of our stay and it was great.

Our check in was great. I’m almost 6 months pregnant and the gentleman at the reservations counter was able to get us a room as soon as possible
I will say, unfortunately, that upon leaving the pool, the young lady in the evening sitting at the towel deck was rude. We had our cooler, as I need constant water and fruit, and without asking she simply yells at us saying ‘hey, next time be sure to leave your coolers at home.’ Bear in mind, that several guests have coolers with them at the pool as well. It was rude and unnecessary.

The main hotel is fantastic, very different story once you exit the lifts on the rooms floor, it’s you have gone back in time to a old worn motel, the rooms are no different, they were that bad that we paid for a upgrade to the new tower suite.
Would stay again but only in the new suites

Perfect two nights weekend
Great resort hotel on a beautiful beach.
Only inconvenience the Hotel driveway was extremely busy on arrival and took 15 minutes to drive to the front door and leave the car. The stay was wonderful and the staff very friendly and helpful. Dining at sunset on the terrace at TESORO was a real treat.

When we arrived at the hotel we were given a room that was a downgrade from the room we reserved. We were told that evening that the room we reserved was not available that night or the following. When I cam back downstairs I spoke to a different person who advised that they could put us in the room we reserved the next morning first thing. I don't understand how that room was available the next morning but not the evening we arrived. Two days into the stay in the correct room, the vent in the bathroom started leaking. They then moved us to a different room. The third room was an upgrade and we were very appreciative of that as well as the credit given for the inconvenience.

Simply paradise!
Perfect for a family vacation due to the amenities available. The beach is phenomenal and so are the pools.
There is a kids club available that my children absolutely loved.
Looking forward to returning to this resort in the future.

It is huuuuggggeeee! Buyer beware. It’s a lot of $$ per night and there are 800 rooms. Beach is beautiful… but be prepared for a loud experience.

The rooms were clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable and access with wrist bands was an excellent idea.
Room was the farthest from the elevator and both of us are in their mid 70's.
Parking even by us cost $35/day.
No packages for a complimentary breakfast were provided. Instead, we paid $35 per person (2) each morning buffet.
The restaurants menus did not have many good selections. T
For the price of the rooms we expected much better food options at the 5 plus restaurants.

Our first time at a JW and we had high expectations which were not meet. The main negatives were the front desk staff and the condition of the property. The bright points were the servers in the restaurants. For the nightly rate we expected a lot better then we received.

Beautiful property!! We loved our room .. a Suite in the Lanai tower that walked directly out onto the beach. The breakfast is delicious at Maia and we loved the surrounding area - Naples etc . My only complaint would be that we were told Bonvoy Marriott members would have free breakfast and that was not correct. Also, be sure you realize there is a $35/day taxes and $30 valet taxes fees added daily ... But we really enjoyed our stay here!

We just returned from a week stay at the JW Marriott in Marco Island and while the property itself is beautiful and the location is good, I don't feel it's worth the $997/night price. Our room was cleaned once during our week stay without me having to call to request service. It's supposed to be cleaned daily and it's frustrating when you return from the beach/pool at the end of the day to shower for dinner only to find your room is not clean and you have no clean towels for bathing. On our last day there I called 3 times to request housekeeping services. At 11pm at night they told me there was no one available to clean our room. Aside from that, the rooms just aren't clean, as you would expect from a 4 star resort. We had to ask them to change the air filter in our room because it was visibly filthy and all four of us felt sick whenever we were in the room. The service is very disappointing, to say the least. Every time we've had to call the front desk for questions, we get wrong information.
We stayed for a week and there wasn't a single hook in our room to hang up wet towels or swimsuits.
Be aware that if you have any packages delivered here, the hotel charges you a handling fee based on weight. We were not advised of this and never encountered this at other hotels before.
I would suggest booking kids activities in advance, as many of them were booked up even before we arrived. If you're looking for a luxury hotel, this is NOT it. It just has the luxury hotel price tag.

Great Family Resort for Long Weekend
This is my second time at this Hotel and we enjoyed it very much. It is a great family resort. It is hard to find much to complaint about, maybe the menus as a few dinning options being limited. But otherwise, it is a large enough resort that you can stay on property for days at a time if you wish. We never found the pool areas to be over crowded, even when one pool had to be shut for a few hours. The beach service is great, and the beach there is just phenomenal. We had a partial gulf view room both times we came, and both times they seems more the "partial' view were great. We will be coming back.

Lo que mas me gusta es la limpieza, el hotel esta muy bien decorado. Lo unico que tienen que mejorar un poco son las habitaciones, ya estan un poco desgastadas para el precio. Las umbrellas en la playa y los chair los recogen demasiado temprano, los restaurantes en general me encanta. El mai del desayuno, el ranchon quw queda cerca de la picina de los ninos, y el ario y el pizza estan muy buenos. Pero el quinz esta muy mala la atencion y dicen mentiras, las comidas pobres y los tragos en este horribles. El cafe san marcos deberia cerrar mas tarde, funcionar hasta la 9pm.
Me gusta decir todo esto para que mejoren. Porque en realidad a mi ne gusta mucho este lugar y voy todos los anos con mi familia

The closet light didn’t work, no one came to clean our room, no microwave in the room or anywhere, and there wasn’t any sort of free breakfast at a hotel where your paying almost 500$ a night.

A piece of paradise in the West Coast of Florida
This is my favorite hotels to stay at. Everything is top notch and the beach is always amazing. Reserve early because the rooms fill up fast in the summer especially.
