No AC, hot in the winter even
Not a bad stay for a decent price. Our room was on the 6th floor and was 76 degrees in February the entire time. There was nothing they could do as they don’t have AC.

Nice owner change
I’ve been booking this hotel when it was a Marriott for last 2.5 years. Very impressed on how overnight that Hampton staff improved the customer experience. Now exceptional coffee in the lobby all day and free parking. Often it is these simple basics that can keep consumers from shopping elsewhere. Well done! May be back next week.

Mae, the desk host is amazing along with the African American girl that was working late on New Year’s Eve on 12/30/2023 who helped me get allergy medication. Our room was very well clean and met our expectations. The only reason why I did not give full starts on property conditions was because the pool staff closed the pool early and the pool floor felt like it need to be fix because you actually feel pieces on your feet along with the hot tub. But overall our stay was amazing and no bed bugs or anything of the sort! I definitely recommend staying here and will be staying here again. My son and I were satisfied! & Happy New Year!

Last min pool and hot tub was down for 3 days.
Took me a few days to plan & find what I thought was going to be the perfect winter break getaway for my family only to arrive and check in before telling me the pool/hot tub was unavailable. I called the day I booked to make sure they had a pool and hot tub available bc since Covid some are shut down but some hotels don’t update on their websites. Said it should be open the next day, sadly I already promised my kids to swim so I canceled & rebooked somewhere else for the night and was told to call back and see if the pool was open the next day before booking just to make sure. Next day I called and it swaps still shut down. Literally ruined our trip bc I then had to replan & rebook my 3 nights I had planned out. It takes some time to plan trips with kids not to mention the earlier you book the best discounts you get so I also paid higher rates somewhere else that wasn’t as nice as this was suppose to be bc I now had to book somewhere last min. Very frustrating!!

Happy holidays at this hotel
We had a nice stay over Christmas. This hotel really did their best with hospitality - even things out of their control like the pool not working and elevator out of order was handled very professionally. They went out of their way to make the lobby look beautiful and welcoming for families traveling over the holidays .

Amazing Service
It was a pleasure staying at this property. The staff was amazingly polite, friendly, service oriented and encouraging. The free breakfast is the best I've ever experienced. I used to not like going to this property due to the lack of quality service, but it has totally transformed in a positive way since it's become a Hampton Inn.

The hotel swinger from a Marriot to a Hilton! They truly downgraded. Maybe once renovations are done it’ll be better. We didn’t even stay all night, we decided to come home

VERY PEACEFUL HOTEL STAY
The staff at the hotel were friendly and very pleasant and the check-in process was easy. The room was very spacious and had a living room area. Two televisions are in the room as well as a microwave and mini refrigerator. The bed was extremely comfortable. They offer complimentary breakfast. The only cons I experienced were finding a dead fly on the floor and the toliet tissue rack was loose. Overall, I had a peaceful stay and the area is very safe and quiet. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping centers near the hotel. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling, planning a staycation, or need a quick getaway with their family and/or spouse. Don’t think twice, just book the hotel!

Our room was so tidy comfortable and neat.
Great stay.
The breakfast was nice too. The chef brought out beautiful omelettes and I loved the fact that they served turkey link instead of pork. Also a wide selection of other drinks and goodies.

Good place to stay
We had a couple's staycation here for 2 nights. It was clean and comfortable. The towels are plush. The beds are a little firm for me but overall comfy. The service is wonderful at the front desk!

A beautiful experience
I stay at a lot of hotels. I live lival but stayed here became my in laws were in town. From the first call I made I was greeted with friendliness and laughter. They helped me check in early. My 4 year old was treated like a princess and the two girls gave her snacks. Everytime I walked past they made me smile. Our room was clean and very spacious. The breakfast was so good. The eggs had peppers and I asked the chef for kid friendly eggs, he had a whole tray ready. He was so curtiouous and totallyunderstoodmy kid. I had an unfortunate personal issue with my husband overdrinking. I explained to the evening attendendent thst i had asked him to leave. He did. She personally called my room later to make sure my daughter and I were ok. She made me feel safe and cared for. I just really think each person working there made my weekend better and I will never forget it.

Loved the pull-down extra bed in the living area. Updated Room and was decorated nice. Maid service was awesome.
Didn’t like the only mirror was in the bathroom
Didn’t like that the lobby was actually the restaurant so you couldn’t eat a dinner you brought in anywhere but your room. That was a real disadvantage and when we tried we got kicked out even thought no one was there.
Didn’t like the pool area as much as I thought I would. It didn’t live up to the photos on the website.

I was shocked and loved how they had mini balconies. You could stand outside and just relax. Was not expecting this amenity on the property so its a huge plus. The room are nicely kept and the tubs deep enogh to soak in them. Love how they have a seperate sitting area from the actual bedroom.
They have a microwave and fridge in their rooms and 2 TVs.
Definitely recommend and will stay again here soon !

Staff was very friendly. I arrived late and when I got to my room I discovered that it had not been cleaned after the prior guest. I called the front desk and they arranged a new room for me quickly and the front desk person even personally brought me the new keys. Breakfast was good and the staff there was super friendly too.

Breakfast was great! Our breakfast attendant, Juliana, was just the perfect amount of attentive, and so kind. You could tell she cared, and it made a huge difference.
The pool water was just a bit dirty, but probably because it is connected to the outside as well.

The hotel is nice but, our room was as hot as an oven. We could not sleep. We did not find room control for temperature so we called front desk. They told us that all rooms were kept same main temperature. They told us to open the window. Problem with that was the noise did not allow us to sleep either. This we would expect at some $50.00/hight hotel. Not this overpriced place with conidtions not tolerable.

Room was nice. Noticed a issue with air conditioning was cooler in the hallway than the room. Maintenance came and tried to take care of it. At that point they should have just offered another room. Called desk in morning and asked for a later check out fo to having maintenance hang in our room about an hour they were not happy to accommodate the later check out but compromised at the last minute

Everything was great until we ordered room service. Dinner was served in a box, a New York strip with mashed potatoes. No condiments, plastic silverware, no plates tacky. We stayed 3 nights and when we ordered a bottle of wine it took an hour then another 1/2 hour for the cork screw with no glasses. Service was not good.

Stayed here for a staycation with kids. The indoor outdoor pool is great. However this hotel had lots of rules that they wanted guests to follow and did not provide many accommodations. The front desk staff was rude the first night to myself and other guests, I had to talk to several people before I was able to take the breakfast buffet to my room. I should not be forced to eat in a public space during a high transmission phase of a pandemic. House keeping never came to clean my room although I reserved and called three times to inquire when they would be coming. You are required to pay $5 per day to park in their lot. I prefer other Chicago Marriott suite locations, there better accommodations elsewhere and wouldn’t stay here again.

This was our second week traveling and this hotel was by far the best!!! I had to book multiple nights separately and before we even checked in, Lucy had made notes regarding my multiple reservations and made it so we would not have to switch rooms. She went above and beyond to make our stay as convenient as possible!!
Additionally, ALL of the staff was so friendly!!

Good hotel, just don't plan on eating there. The restaurant had very limited and uninteresting selection and was not inviting. The bar was also small and not what i would expect from a hotel at this price. By the way, parking isn't free but they don't tell you that until you're checked in.
