Nice hotel but lacked some things
We enjoyed the location of this hotel m. It was near everything we wanted to see for the weekend. We got a room with a Harbor view, and originally were were placed in a room that did not have that view. They accommodated us by switching us to a new room, although I still think it’s a partial harbor view. The pool was over crowded many days and nights. Kids were unruly and jumping in the pool and splashing us an insane amount of times. Would be nice to have a lifeguard for busy holiday weekends. The $30 fee that can go back into the restaurant wasn’t that great. The food and drinks are overpriced and not that good, so we ended up paying a bill anyway, since it didn’t cover much. We did appreciate the free Trolley passes. That was great for a cold weekend!

Traveled overnight with my toddler daughter and everyone from valet, reception and the restaurant were all amazing and friendly. Food was excellent, location is perfect. We enjoyed the pool and being able to walk to aquarium!

We stayed with 2 young kids and it was great for that! Being a long weekend ,there were a ton of families there. The pool was key, especially in the winter, and was quite busy with lots of kids, but adequate. The pool is on the smaller side, no shallow end. Great views from the pool! Both times we went there were no pool towels available, but did find 2 in the changing area. The rooms are small-ish but fine. Nice shower. Beds comfortable enough. There is no fridge in the room. Nice views from our room of the city. Even though there were many kids in the hotel, hall noise was minimal! The front desk staff was very nice. We were able to leave our luggage with the valet after we checked out, which was so helpful while we visited the aquarium (2 mins away!) and ate lunch. The location can't be beat! Would recommend !

We stayed at the Marriott Long Wharf for two nights. Walkable to Aquarium, Quincy Market, Fanueil Hall, and some North end restaurants. City side view is as good as the wharf view, but both are exposed to water ferry taxis noise entering and departing. The Hotel does alot right, but if noise bothers you, do not stay on the third floor where the gym and pool are, lots of kids running through the hall, sometimes not so well behaved. Take advantage of the free Trolley tickets included in the $30/day destination fee they charge above the room rate, the hop-on/off tour is worth the fee in itself. Also, if you go to buy Aquarium tickets and the Aquarium time restricts entry, see the concierge, they can sell you tickets that allow access any time. Overall, an enjoyable stay with friendly service.

The hotel seemed nice, and staff friendly. But got a room with dirty glasses, countertops not cleaned, bathtub had hair in it, wasn’t washed.
Not happy. The only thing that seemed cleaned was the bed and sheets (yes I did check). After a long travel day, getting to the hotel late, I crashed and slept and left in the morning. Honestly for the money and brand, I would have expected more. Never staying at this hotel. I normally love Marriott hotels, but this was sub-par.

My trip to Boston was last minute so, as a result, I did not have much of an opportunity to research hotels. I was debating a handful of hotels and ultimately took the chance on the Marriott Long Wharf. So glad that I did! Everything about the hotel was extraordinary--from the staff accommodating my requests (with a same day reservation too), to the amenities, location right on the water and so on. When I go back to Boston there is no doubt that I will return to this hotel

Did not disappoint, I didn’t care for the view selection of our room, but the location is the best as walking to any point of Boston was easy, I wish have stayed here instead of other locations the past two days. I also think for the price parking should have been included instead of the $30 per room drink/food voucher.

Incredible!
We came for a 24 hour trip. Everything from check in to check out was absolutely perfect. When we arrived we were able to check in early. We had a beautiful room with a view of the Wharf. The bathroom shower was nicely uodated and rhe beds were comfortable! We went to salem and took the ferry which was right next to the hotel. So many places to see and easily walk to. Will definitely stay here agin fir our next visit.

Ive always stayed here and always pleasantly surprised at the upgrades. The only thing I found disruptive to my quiet time and sleep was the clunking of the airconditioner in and out.

Very clean and well maintained property. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location was perfect! We walked to the Aquarium and Quincy Market but there were other places to eat and tours to go on just steps from this hotel.

Great Location!
Ideally located across the street from Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall. Beautiful harbor views. Next door to the New England Aquarium. Walking distance to amazing Italian restaurants in the North End. A short walk to the Freedom Trial, the Paul Revere House and The Old North Church. All the major tour buses meet right out front. Would never stay anywhere else.

We love the view in the convenience for walking to the north end and our whale watch tour. We just wish that there was an option to sit outside and purchase snacks and/or cocktails. We did sit on the outside patio on the third floor and loved the view, but there was no where to purchase a drink. That beautiful patio is also a secret. We could see it from outside, and no one could tell us where it was! You should do better at advertising that space!

Perfect place for a visitor to be located in the middle of most significant sites! Very walkable and right on the wharf! Lots of places to eat walkable and your pick up right at the front door! Hotel is nice and quiet inside. I would recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!

This hotel is in a good location- right near Quincy Market, but also very crowded with tourists. When we visited, the bathroom door in our room was broken, the hot water went out and we were unable to shower during our one night stay, there was no shower gel in the room (containers were empty) and the refrigerator was broken so our food went bad. We told the staff about this multiple times and none of them seemed to care. The service of the desk staff was impersonal and flippant. I would not recommend this hotel.

I arrived at 4:15 for a 5pm wedding. my room wasn't ready because elite marriott members get a late checkout. So I was given a temporary room to get ready for the wedding. When I checked back at the front desk for a key to my room after the wedding ceremony I was told the temporary room was my permanent room which didn't have enough beds for my husband and kids. I insisted. they then said I could have my regular room but it wasn't yet ready. So I came back again later and they gave me a key to my new room. When I walked to my room they had moved our luggage (good) but there was a bag of linens and another bag of trash in the hallway outside of my room. When I checked out the next day the trash and linens were still there.
I let Marriott know this was unacceptable for a $540 room before taxes. I did hear back from someone who said they were sorry and would try to do better next time. Honestly they should have given me a certificate for a free night at the hotel. It was not a good experience, though a great location.

A great hotel with extremely convenient location at the center of the beautiful Boston harbor. The Hotel provides great service and free coupons to tourist attractions including freedom trail. It is also close to the cruise of the harbor. Lots of good sea food restaurants

Great location! Was in Boston for the first time and it was right by the tour buses and cruises. Clean rooms with lots of towels! There was a breakfast all you can eat buffet with a big selection of foods and pastries. Will definitely stay here again.

Do not stay here!
The elevator made a loud noise (loud creaking) every 5 minutes which kept me up all night for 3 nights. Audrey (Aubrey) at the front desk acknowledged the noise, said "It just happens". My refrigerator did not work. We went out Friday night with the car and there was no valet at 11 pm for over an hour to put the car away. The front desk had to call him 3 times. I paid $645/night for a harbor view and my view had a wall for the next room so I could only see 30%. What a rip off!!!

The location can’t be beat. We loved our view of the park and the harbor. Staff is friendly. Three observations: 1) very noisy because the door faces the open center so the noise from lobby three floors down was clear as day. 2) the bathroom sliding doors did not close affording little privacy 3) the “free” Wi-Fi is unsecured and unreliable, forcing one to pay $16/day for wifi for ONE device. We chose to use our data and skipped the wifi all together. Certainly a strange thing in today’s world, especially for the cost of staying of here. But the room was comfortable and clean, and being so close to everything made up for these little inconveniences.

The property was nice. Safe location. Was able to walk to almost everything we did. My only complaints were that Expedia showed I would pay a deposit of $75 at the hotel. When we arrived it was $75 per day. The other complaint was just about how expensive everything is. From food in hotel to the parking. Stayed in a lot of hotels across the US and this was by far the most expensive for what it was. Besides that the staff was pleasant, the wait time wasn’t bad for checking in and even for room service. The room was clean and we had no complaints. Being right next to the aquarium was super nice also.

The location of this hotel is fantastic! Our family enjoyed everything about our stay here and there were many unexpected perks (discounts to many popular attractions, and complimentary tickets to many fun activities that were already on our itinerary). Highly recommend the Marriot Long Wharf!

Great location and our room was nice. The front desk folks and doormen were wonderful! The only disappointing thing was the room service- it was expensive and you were really just ordering take out. Our food came in plastic containers rather than on plates and paper cups vs a real mug. The gym facility was outstanding and the pool was also nice. I highly recommend- just don’t order room service.

We ordered. Kid’s meal in the evening of 14 January. My son found two human hairs inside his Mac n’ Cheese and his fruit cup.
Also, they forgot to give us a fork and spoon and gave us just a knife for this meal.
Overall I was pretty shocked at how careless Marriott’s staff can be with food.
With everything said, I want to give great THANK YOU to Stephanie at the front desk for being so ever helpful. She is a great trainee and her attitude at work is simply awesome.

We stayed for a single night in the wharf view King bed room. Overall services from the desk and the staff were excellent. They were nice and flexible. We didn’t get a chance to use all our destination fee before checking out, but they gave us extra time to use it all at the coffee shop.
The valet parking is expensive compare to nearby hotels, but we were able to park until 6PM after the check-out so that was nice too.
However, the room conditions weren’t comfortable. There weren’t any complimentary water bottles in the room, no bathrobes or indoor sleepers, and lack of assistant about the room services (Only QR codes were available). I’ve spent time in various 4-5 stars hotel in the Boston, and the overall room condition was not the best compare to other hotels. Additionally, when I booked the wharf view room, I was expecting nicer view, but only view I got was the company building located next to the hotel. (I was literally able to see who were working inside the office, since the windows for both companies were facing together).
The staff members and cleanness of the hotel were great, but the room was not the best compare to the well-known name of the hotel.
