The common areas were decent, as was the breakfast, but the room was old and felt dirty. There was no hot water. We called maintenance twice. They said they usually have four hot water broilers but were down to two for some reason. You had to upgrade to get coffee in the room and they did not provide you with stirrers or cream. In the middle of the night at 4:45 a.m. there was a man with dark sunglasses knocking on our room door trying to get in. I would not recommend. There are better hotels in the area.

This property was everything I wanted in a property to spend the night in Tampa! The casino was full, so we wanted something super nice and comfortable! This was PERFECT! I could do without the timeshare people at breakfast (even though she was super sweet). Just don’t want to be sales pitched on a trip that’s not a “resort” atmosphere.

The entire staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast is so convenient and amazing with.multiple options. The air conditioner in the room wasn’t cold enough for me, which was slightly disappointing. Other than that, everything was spectacular!

The air in our room did not seem to work the whole time. Was comfortable when we arrived and then when we went to bed it got hot even though the thermostat said it was low.

The Front desk agent Caesar was personable and professional. Enjoyed the interaction and was equally impressed when he was my check out agent.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. When I arrived they tried to charge me again even though I had paid for my stay through Expedia. I thought I cleared this up at that time but what did they do? Charged my credit card again !! Totally ridiculous !!

Breakfast and Bar staff were professional and pleasant even during peak periods. The breakfast was very good with a variety of options. The other staff including the front desk met standards but a couple seemed a little unsure of some procedures (i.e internetwork and connections). Additionally, the building itself needs some minor maintenance and upgrading because it is an older facility.

Hotel is super convenient to my business in the area and the restaurant (Mangos) always makes a great meal. My room could have used a bit of maintenance as the shower/tube poured water even when off (a10oz glass a minute)…we couldn’t hear it but it is wastful

Une super étape dans un hôtel magnifique. Accueillis avec des bouteilles d’eau fraîche et des glaces pour les enfants. La chambrée est grande et confortable. La manager au petits soins. Le petit déjeuner correct. La piscine grande et bien entretenue. Le laverie(laundry) moins chère que dans les autres hôtels 2$.
Nous reviendrons! Car le prix était très bien.

At all how the transactions were posting. I only should have been charged thru the third party once and you charged him 4 times. Mine was 133’a night which they all should have been since it was military. Only one nite last numbers 8450 his was suppose to be chard 133 the other notes please fix this we stay ALL the time.

Just really outdated for the cost and it was not clean at all. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and left the next day after only staying one night. for the cost the rooms need to be completely remodeled and cleaned.

The check in was easy and quick with Lee who answered all questions quick and with confidence showing her knowledge of the property. Our coffee maker was broken and that was replaced immediately once reported. Gina was fun and entertaining bar tender who remembers you after only one meeting and did a great job, Chad the General Manager was also very helpful and was always present and seen on the property. Always a good morning at breakfast and a hello and conversation by the pool or just in passing always asking if anything more could be done to make our stay better. The morning breakfast staff were always cheerful and helpful and my only regret is I did not realize there was a place to tip them until we left and the wife pointed it out to me, my apologies for that but we will be back. Also looking forward to the changes and remodeling that will take place as outlined by Chad. Hopefully there will be a few umbrella tables by the pool next time to hide from that Florida sun which will tear your hide off if not careful. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, we enjoyed the property and the personnel, the rooms are quiet, the beds comfortable and overall relaxing, the property is clean and inviting. We are now retired and leisure travelers and hope all Embassy Suites properties are staffed by great personnel like this one is.

The hotel was decent but unfortunately, there was a biker group and a soccer team staying for several days while we were there. They were loud late into the night and the hotel staff did nothing to quiet them.

The room had dog urine on the curtains the tub was dirty when I checked in they charged me for my room on my credit card taking off some of my credit limit which stayed on for days pending even though I already paid for the room before I even got there then they charged me $48 for an $18 burger and onion ring $30 still pending on my credit card along with the $200 on my credit. It's a good thing I didn't need that credit right away

We checked in on Friday 9/30 and out on Monday 10/3. Evening of 9/30 the water was turned off and did not come back until early morning hours, so we would not shower, wash our hands, or flush the toilet. On 10/1 the power flickered for about 30 mins. That night, the lock on our door “died” and we could not leave our room until almost 9am on 10/2. Morning of 10/3 water was being shut off again. Also, one of the elevators felt like it was almost about to drop every time we were in it.

I would like to say the only reason why the property did not get all negative scores is because although the property was disgusting the staff was EXCELLENT everyone of the staff members was on Point! Everyone was courteous. However the room itself, it’s stunk as we walked in the room floors was filthy. The baseboards was coming off of the walls, it was just utterly disgusting. The room was not fit for anyone but I wouldn’t want to have given the staff any strife as they only had to deal with what they had. The breakfast room staff was great. Along with the happy hour bartender & the front door staff. However at this point there needs to be some changes. That place is the pits and if I would’ve known I would not have spent the money that I did on that place.

This hotel is tucked away in a nice location. It was close to shopping, restaurants, and the Amphitheater (if you are going to a concert). While it is a 30-minute drive to the beach, it is well worth it. The staff was great!

Melissa at check in and check out was so nice and helpful to us, even gave me a towel to take to the concert to keep dry, which made such a difference! I returned it to her as promised! Beautiful hotel, Fantastic Customer Service and clean! Convenient to everything we wanted to do while on vacation. My only complaint was there was no shade at the pool and my Mom is elderly and can’t sit in the sun and not enough Handicap Parking. But everything else was perfect! I will be back!!

My family stayed for a week. Had a very nice suite in a quiet location of hotel. Spacious clean rooms, conveniently located near EVERYTHING (stores, restaurants and entertainment). Staff is exceptionally friendly and provided top notch customer service throughout entire stay. There’s even a small Budget Rental car office onsite which is convenient.

I’ve stayed at this property plenty of times in the past. The lobby area is nice. Love the breakfast Embassy Suites offer. 2 free drinks per adults is always a plus. Kids will love the pool. The rooms area spacious and clean but they’re dated. Overall you can’t go wrong with staying at this location.

5 of us stayed in the Premium suite for 2 nights. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean with plenty of space for all 5. Best shower pressure I’ve ever experienced in a hotel! The extra perks that came with the Premium tag were well worth the extra$. Best breakfast staff! Hard working and friendly. Next time we are in Tampa we will be staying at this Embassy Suites again.

It’s spacious, clean, and well-kept, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast has hot food and cold foods, and the coffee was good for hotel coffee. We were also given 2 free drinks per adult from the bar, which was a nice surprise.

The room was very big and comfortable just needed a little bit of updates here and there (one quick example the front door was hard to open) other than that it was a great stay. My family and I had a great stay! The entire front desk was amazing and welcoming, especially Elizabeth. She was very personable and kind with all guest. Her customer service skills is beyond excellent, and she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Also, the entire breakfast staff was exceptional, especially the omelette chef (forgot his name). It was extremely busy when we went to breakfast but he kept the line moving. He is truly a one man show! Overall, I would stay here again and again. The service shown throughout our stay, was exactly what you should expect from a hotel! Keep up the great job Embassy!

Unfortunately we were locked out of our room twice during our stay due to a low battery/malfunction with the door mechanism. The first night it happened we were told it would be fixed the next morning but it was not fixed so when we left for the day and returned, we were once again unable to get in.

The property was good for the price. Just note that if you want cleaning service you have to request it AND continuously follow up! We request our room to be cleaned twice on two separate days and it didn’t happen. All we got both times was apologies and someone to take out the trash and give us some towels. Post covid service is just not what it used to be. But on the bright side the folks at breakfast were great, helpful and very polite.

Great breakfast...the room is spacious enough for a family of four. The bedroom door closes for privacy. About 20 minutes from busch gardens and downtown area.
