1. We had asked in advance for a room refrigerator for medications and food that rewquired refrigeration. Despite multiple assurances from the front desk staff and on dutry manager, we were never contacted wiyth updates and neveer received the refrigerator.
2. Our carwas misplaced by the valet staff and required an inordinate delay after several complaints in order to finally receive it.
3. The golf course staff was not helpful and, in fact gtreated me as an afterthought. This was particularly disappointing after paying the expensive rate that was charged. Also, I booked a foursome so we did bring in a substantial amount of money for the round.

Just wow! I was blown away by the staff, cleanliness and overall awesome of this hotel. Staying here brought a peace that I hadn’t experienced in a long time. Stunning in every way!

Property was gorgeous and a lot to do overall! We came to go to a Miami Dolphins game and it was very convenient to that. We had kids with us and the water park was amazing!!! Overall, the hotel is very pricey and at times feels like they’re nickle and dining you but it is a nice place. There was a Publix nearby to get snack and drinks for the room.

Toilet was leaking, 4 year old child slipped on the wet floor in the washroom and almost hit their head on the toilet seat. Toilet was making noise and not flushing properly the whole time. When we went to complain about it, management said, here is an incident # and we will look into it. Management didn't care otherwise. Not the service you would expect From a resort like this. Very dissappointing.

Great location right near aventura mall. Highly recommend. I have stayed here several times absolutely amazing staff, everyone is so helpful. Definitely a great place to stay, great pools and great amenities!

So disappointed in the service and convenience of the amenities. No information was provided at check in. Mixed messages on time the pools closed. Pool restaurants also closed earlier than posted. Hot tub was filthy. Room next door had baby that cried loudly 24 hours, disrupting our family’s sleep and peace while in the room. I expected a better experience for $800/night.

Comfortable, enjoyable stay
Typically stay here one to two vacations per year - still a great place, even though I feel vacationers are now secondary to corporate/convention guests. On-site facilities are plentiful and the estate is beautiful and well maintained. Well positioned - so close to useful shops and the mall. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. Good Wi-Fi coverage. Corsair breakfast buffet has improved, which was pleasing. Helpful and pleasant staff.
Prices for valet parking and golf are insane.

This is our sixth time staying at this property and we will be back next month again. Staff is always courteous. The rooms are always clean. I did not care for my 'resort view' this time but we just kept the curtains shut and enjoyed everything else!

we booked two rooms which were not ready by 4 pm we got one at 4.30 and the second after 5 pm which meant we were rushed for a dinner appointment prior to a dolphins game which spoiled our stay

Beautiful property, the room was well sized with a very nice bathroom. The water park was awesome! The dinner we had onsite was delicious. We also loved the on site Starbucks. The staff was very pleasant and friendly.

The water park is beautiful and very safe for children. However, The hotel room we were in was situated over a laundry room with loud trucks late at night and early morning. Its was a Junior Suite- so we paid a premium for this room. Also, The shower head fell off and hit my husband in the head while he was showering . I would not recommend this hotel for an overnight stay. I would rate them poorly in customer service and being able to handle Resort Guests complaints. We had the feeling that they just don’t care.

The staff at this resort are unmatched. The room was beautiful. My only complaint was the food on site. No late night options meant that we had to order out. But I would recommend especially to adults.

Upon arrival, I was denied self-parking for my 3500 Chevrolet passenger van due to its size, obligating me to use the valet service at an additional cost of $50. Excessive wait times of 10 to 45 minutes added to my frustration. These delays seemed to be due to my vehicle type, hinting at preferential treatment based on financial status, which was disheartening. During check-out, I encountered further billing issues. I was erroneously charged for valet service three times for a two-night stay. A $50 spa voucher for my wife's treatment went unapplied, resulting in a $100 overcharge. These errors raised concerns about billing accuracy and left me questioning how many guests may have been similarly overcharged unnoticed. A significant frustration was the delay in retrieving my van via the valet service. Despite calling ahead, it took 45 minutes and multiple requests at the valet office to get my vehicle. This delay disrupted our planned activities, causing us to miss at least one appointment. My attempts to resolve these issues via email met with no response or assistance, which was deeply disappointing. In conclusion, while JW Marriott boasts commendable aspects such as facilities and aesthetics, my stay was marred by inconveniences, overcharging, and prolonged wait times. The lack of response to my concerns compounded my dissatisfaction. I expected a more accommodating and responsive service, regardless of my vehicle type or financial status. I do not recommend this Hotel

Amazing resort, the park fee is included in the hotel stay which is great addition to the stay. The rooms each have a balcony with amazing view and they were all clean and spacious.
We used the garage ($50 per day) and were a 5 min drive to the mall.
I would recommend this resort for families looking for a nearby inclusive hotel.

Water park was good. The stay at the hotel was terrible. They lost our luggage with my daughter’s medication on it and took over an hour to find it, when they brought it there were bags that were not mine and still had my name and room number on them. Very expensive property and terrible service. I’m not planning on coming back anytime soon.

This stay was ok the valet took forever (dont recommend) the front desk was rude. I took cash to tip from their ATM in the hotel and it gave me a ripe bill and the front desk was rude saying we cant accept that even if it came from their machine very rude guy. Our balcony door was dirty full of bugs didn't close all the way it did lock but had a crack which thats why there was bugs the balcony gate outside didn't have a lock so anyone can go into our balcony that didn't feel safe. The breakfast was ok. The pool service took long and wasn't very attentive. The lifeguard was not alert I actually was drowning for a moment and calling for help and it took other people around me to get help from the lifeguard so keep an eye on your kids because this was scary and no one checked on me after. Overall this place is over priced and the service is not worth it. We went for my nieces birthday and not at all what I excepted.

Very nice place fun for the kids spacious rooms, love the bathrooms. Only one thing I dislike which was the price of the food. We had dinner outside the restaurant which was delicious it was around 300. Then we had breakfast buffet at the restaurant and it was 330!!! Most expensive breakfast I’ve ever had. Not worth it.

The hotel is nice, the water park was amazing and the steak house in the hotel is top notch. I had a great time up to the point where me and my wife requested two new comforter. One of our comforters had what look like mold stains on it and my step daughter was sleeping on the pull out. When we spoke to the front desk in person we showed them the pictures of the comforter and explained we have my step daughter on the pull out with no covers. The never sent up the comforter.my step daughter had to sleep in a bath robe and we gave the clean comforter to the other two kids. Me and my wife had to sleep with the small blanket.

Amazing hotel, some tweaks to be made
The facility is AMAZING and perfect for families with small kids. My kids are 3 and 6 and they could spend the entire day at the Splash Pad, plus my 6 year old was able to ride a slide on the bigger side. However, we were directly under the restaurant which closes at around 11, so it was incredibly noisy in our room for a long while. Aside from that, the beds are way too soft and uncomfortable. That definitely should be addressed, they're unsturdy on top of everything else because they're so soft. Makes for a really uncomfy sleep. Aside from that, the actual hotel and facilities were great.

The hotel offers the water park as part of its attractions, the entrance of people who are not weighed should be with a limit, in this weekend there were no chairs or umbrellas for all guests due to the large number of people who attended the water park and it is very uncomfortable for guests to have to wait to order a drink or eat something, I think there should be more control with people who enter to spend the day, a limit should be put. I also think that the prices for the quality are very high.

The blonde lady at VIP services was very rude and disrespectful. Had to call the front desk Director to sort out our issues. Bourbon restaurant nearly killed my niece with not knowing that there were nuts in the food, ended up calling police, and ambulance tonthe property, official report was filed with security, fpujd cockroach in the bed, AC shut off every 2 hours and being a Marriott Bonvoy member could not even get a key until 5pm because of the blonde lady from VIP services. Had to call Adam Scott front office Director. He was awesome

Charged twice for Resort fee which we had payed in advance through Expedia, charged for an item from the mini bar which we did not consume and one day our room was not made up. In addition to this, two days used towels were not retrieved. Coffee cups and caps were not available every day.

Beautiful property and amenities were great with the location, adult only pool, spa and top notch steakhouse as highlights. Where improvements need to be made are probably more efficient check in and valet. Both of those were a bit of a cluster especially valet as I missed a dinner reservation bc it took almost an hour to get my car and was told 10-15 min. Others were in the same boat as me as well.

I loved the outdoor water park and warm water. Check in and check out lines are super long. Game room is a nice touch for the kids. Wouldn’t recommend to stay over the weekend as it gets packed everywhere. Gets super loud, crowded and dirty.

The only pool you can use if you travel with kids is the Tidal Cove pool, which is also open to the public for birthday parties and bachelorette parties. Lots of adults drinking in the pool and not getting out. You can see the water getting murkier as the day wears on. Beer cans and plastic cups everywhere. Filthy. The hotel itself is fine but service lacking. Noone serviced our room. You could hear your neighbors through the walls and everyone’s conversations in the hall. We stayed in a suite and expected better service. Also there are only two restaurants on property other than the pool grill which closes at 6. A super expensive steakhouse and an american restaurant that has the same menu more of less as the room service menu. Elevated bar food. Not very inspiring. Not the quality of a JW Marriott.

Its not what it used ro be. While many amenities and options are great there are several marks that were missed. The arrival process needs significant improvement, while check in via mobile if you have to make the same line as everyone else to get a room key and reprocessing, felt very overcrowded overall, food and beverage service at tidal cove was great, sadly they closed at 6 when they are set to close at 7 so a whole hour ahead no rides no lazy river nothing. The steakhouse was good but felt rushed, in room dining toom an hour for kids items which they said it would take long but then forget water which i specifically asked for and was reassured they would come forcing us to get the crazy expensive evian, im fine to pay for convenience but $10 is a bit overboard for a water... the massage at the spa was mid at best. Wasnt blown away and had high expectations from past experiences. We had a pull out sofa and when we opened it it was obvious it was never cleaned, gross. There was cereal on the floor from previous guest i mean so many things i really wish would be better to warrent a return visit. Broken elevator in magnolia wing and elevator closed on us twice causing extra delays. Quoted 5 to 10 min for car but took about 30. Just a lot of these small things that add up and to spend over 700 on a one night stay im just glad it wasnt more. Id be far more disappointed.

Very nice facility. There is a waterpark so there are many large families staying here. Even though there is a designated adult only pool it is not enforced. Issues with reservation/valet billing needing correction causing checkout delay. Very enjoyable spa experience.
