Great lobby. Great service at breakfast and at pool. Nice gym.
In contrast, front desk not responsive.
Reported bathroom sink wouldn’t drain and nobody attended in six-day stay. Housekeeping would have known and also failed to remedy.
Signage at roof pool clearly says open dawn to dusk. But doesn’t open until 10am.
Elevators take forever to arrive. So many things that don’t work/aren’t right.
Bottom line, doesn’t deliver high-end proposition and price. A big resort hotel with a sexy lobby.

While food is delicious not many healthy options, just fyi
The only negative feedback ls that pool attendants at the rooftop pool reserve beds for some guests (very obvious, they leave blue towels and sunscreen bottles). This morning (Saturday December 12, around 9am) I was told that all beds around the pool were taken and in the next few hours observed Fred (one of the pool attendants) bringing guests to beds he saved and taking tips for it. When I confronted him, saying you told us all beds were taken, he smiled and asked me how I can prove it? Hotel has a good reputation and such things are not acceptable.

The hotel is designed very well with the style around the shared amenities such as pools, beach area and foyer fantastic. Laying on free sun cream and water are nice and must extras. Food options were great overall and flavour/ portions all good. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. A good location too with Ubers and Taxis easy to order. We did a recommended tour to the Everglades's / saw the Alligators which was fab, our guide was excellent.
The room was a great size, very comfortable and relaxing. We were given a room with a bigger balcony, which we thought would be lovely but, the weather, traffic and building work meant we never really used it. A few slow meals meant a slightly lower star on that rating but, overall, an excellent stay amongst the Miami set !

This hotel made the trip amazing
I was initially booked at a different hotel which was not great. I left that hotel and went to 1 hotel on a friends recommendation. It made the trip amazing. We will be coming back!

This property and staff was outstanding. Top notch, hands down best hotel I have ever stayed at. Everyone was super friendly and did the most to make sure our stay was the best experience possible. Rooms are beautiful, spacious and beds were very comfortable. 10/10 would recommend and we will definitely be returning. Can’t say enough great things about this hotel.

The 1 Hotel is a gorgeous property to enjoy a wonderful vacation. I regret not staying more days! Leo at the front desk was exceptional and went out of his way to help us celebrate our wedding anniversary!!! Very convenient location, easy to get around, and so many attractions! Highly recommend staying here!!!

I had the worst stay ever !!we went for vacation 4 days but couldn’t relax because of the noise was so loud. Stuff is unprofessional I would not recommend at all. Also , after checking out they make you make some extra charges not even telling you everything.Over all very bad experience and stuff is unprofessional!!!

Leandro that works at the pool is very nasty and rude toward guests. The way he spoke to me was very uncomfortable. Another staff person had to apologize for his actions. Food is average and the air conditioning in the rooms are very weak. Also hotel is not dog friendly at all.

Our stay was amazing. The room was beautiful and the staff is very friendly. There were some issues with the room, but Emmanuel (hotel manager) accommodated us immediately. Overall, it was a amazing staff! I would definitely come back!

We received an upgraded room which was very spacious, clean and beautifully designed. The pool area is large and seems like a party zone. Unfortunately the white fabric on the lounge chairs are all stained and dingy looking. They are then covered by towels but without the towels, it looks road hard, put away wet.

The only hotel you should stay in, on South Beach.
I've stayed at the 1 Hotel South Beach 6 times over the last few years and this by far was my best experience. We brought our 1 year old son and I couldn't believe the treatment we got from the staff and even other people who were staying at the hotel.

Most of the people I dealt with were very nice. The concierge had 3 people that all lead me to the wrong area for my $700 cabana. My wife went to the spa that I booked with her in person at the spa the day before and they refused to accept that she was my wife and wouldn’t let the reservation I booked personally be charged to the room. Then instead of calling the room or getting in touch with me just harassed her.

Absolutely gorgeous property. Expect to pay premium dollar for their cocktails, but that’s about on par for south beach (ahem, $27 for a margarita). But, as they say- location, location, location, and this one cannot be beat.

I really wanted to like this hotel. My family and I were very much looking forward to our stay at the 1 Hotel, last December we stayed next door at the W Hotel and came by for breakfast at Habitat. We immediately knew we wanted to return to Miami and book this hotel. However, our stay here did not come close to meeting our expectations. The Good: the hotel itself is beautiful and luxurious, the aesthetic is gorgeous. You can easily grasp the hotel branding from the moment you walk in. They had a good variety of places to eat and drink at. We stayed partially during the week so we expected things to close early. The not so good good and can use improvement, upon check in, I felt the valet and bell men were super courteous however at check in, the experience was as different and not welcoming. It seemed as the girl was new and had to keep asking questions before checking us in. Upon checking in to our room, we had booked a 1 bedroom suite. Our room was underwhelming and felt like an apartment vs a hotel. We also contacted front desk since we experienced heavy smell of marijuana various nights and instead of offering us to move us or troubleshoot I felt like they kept investigating the situation. One of the nights a kind woman named Abla, offered to move us but it was at 1am and couldn’t move since our child was sleeping. We notified front desk the next day and front desk person was courteous and apologetic however, he never followed up with us. This hotel needs work to match W
