The people at the front desk acted like you are a burden to them when you check in. The rooms are in pretty rough shape. The walls have paint missing, the sink in the bathroom leaked out into the floor, and the microwave didnt work at all. The walls are paper thin so if your next to someone loud or someone is outside of the room being loud it sounds like they are in the room with you. The icing on the cake was when I went to the front desk to ask for a plastic fork and three people looked at me and said they couldnt help me even though there is a whole cafe right next to the front desk that had plastic utensil behind counter. I will never even consider staying at the place again.

At check in we got downgraded from a room with 2 double beds and a bunk bed, to a room with no bunk bed. Only my daughter and I were in the room, but nothing was said to me at check in about it. I had already paid online and don’t even think I got a lower rate.

RAT/MOUSE INFESTATION
Around midnight I had a RAT/LARGE MOUSE wake me up chewing and digging through the trash can in my room. I turned the light on and it went running into the bathroom. I had to call the front desk and while they promptly moved me four rooms down, I got ZERO rest that night as I had to collect all of my things and sleep with one eye open as I wasn’t sure if another friend was going to come visit…
The next morning, I was told a manager would be reaching out to discuss this issue with me. It has been almost 2 weeks with zero communication. I have called numerous times and funny, a manager never seems to “be on duty.” DO NOT STAY HERE unless you’re ok with RATS running in your room at night.

Check in the person at the desk was rude and not knowledgeable . Said I’d get a receipt the next morning , when we checked out that lady said no I wouldn’t so I’ll have to watch my bank to make sure I’m not charged for things I didn’t do. The floor I don’t know when the last time the floor was mopped the bottom of my socks were black . There was a patio had the worse view it was described as Gulfview we saw the pool and trees . No chairs on the patio ., and to see the water you had to walk almost to the beach . Will never stay there again

Great stay
Loved the fact that we parked right outside the front door and walked out the back door to the bach. Bed was not the best but ok. Room was large and close to everything. Theres a small coffe place and bar.

No problems with the stay. Very nice older property on a private stretch of beach. We were on 4th floor and had a great view of the beach and the Gulf. Just far enough off of Front Beach Road to be quiet and close enough to be convenient. Only reason for the 4 star rating on condition was because a few areas were closed for remodeling but once those are finished should be great. There are dining options on site but we didn't try them. Also 2 pools.

The staff was friendly. For most of the facility was clean but we had a roach in our bathroom. We got woke up by another set of guest yelling at each other, this continued for severals. The cops finally came and arrested the individuals after they kept us awake most of the night.

It was ok. The room was clean and there was a nice pool and easy beach access. The beds were not very comfortable and our a/c broke in the middle of the night. Would have been happier if the beach chairs and umbrellas were included with the room.

We got there Wednesday. Thursday night the air broke. Friday morning I called front desk and they said they would send maintenance. We’ll maintenance never showed so they changed our room. Friday night was ok Saturday morning I woke up to bed bugs! I called front desk and they said they will send someone to verify it. The person came and said yes that’s a bedbug. They changed our room again. Saturday night I couldn’t sleep because all I kept thinking about was BED BUGS!!!! You talk about a miserable trip!!! Everyday it was something!! I DO NOT recommend this hotel. I have to talk to manager when he comes back Monday to see about a refund. I did talk to supervisor and she said don’t count on a refund! I will update when I get a definite answer! This place was crap!!!!

Overall it wasn't bad. We were right by the pool and beach Access. Rooms are outdated and they really need to invest in new beds. They are super thin. You might as well just be sleeping on a board

Terrible experience
This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The bed was like laying on a prison cot. There was a roach in the bathroom. We didn’t want to shower without our shoes. There was a cheez it in the corner, the bed had stains clearly covers weren’t changed, the pillows smelled awful!

This place needs to be gutted!
The very small tv was barely visible the picture was so bad. The mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. There were no working ice machines on any floor. I killed a roach on the dresser and the lamp mounted by the beds were rusted. Front desk was very rude to us on the phone.

Pet friendly
This was the fourth time we stayed at this hotel. The main reason, this place is a 💯 % pet firendly. Anytime, we come here our baby enjoys it. The hotel is very convenient for pet owners. Beach is just a few feet away. Yesterday, we had a great experience eating at the bar. Sandra, the bartender was amazing.

Need better service help.
The room was average and mattresses slightly broke down. Room service was to do light cleaning every two days and fuller cleaning on fourth day of stay. They stopped by on second day and handed new towels only. Fourth day I had to take my own trash out and look for help to get clean towels. We sweep our own floor everyday. We ran out of toilet paper and I called front desk and was told to come and get it. A service room was next to the elevator so I just helped myself to the paper. I liked that the hotel was on the beach but the service could have been better.

Positives - on the beach, friendly staff
Leaving check in i was feeling super optimistic, then we got to our room.
It was not even as advertised (ocean front with a balcony)
It was dilapidated, dirty, so dirty looks like someone has taken a quick wipe of main things and never did a deep clean since they opened. I saw two roaches in the room.
Everything was in poor condition in rooms.
It was cheap and on the beach. But im so glad we only had to stay one night.
This place has alot of potential.

Walking distance to pineapple Willy’s was convenient but not worth planning to stay here again. Shower barely worked, has a microwave but it’s not plugged in and nowhere plug it without moving it across the room, entry way is small makes it hard to bring things in, AC barely worked the first night checked the filter and they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in MONTHS. Lady when checked in was very friendly and had I not been paying attention would been charged pet fee for 2 instead of one like I told her. Place is just really run down

False advertisement to say the least. The photos on the webpage are not of the same hotel. The pool was nasty green and closed. The place was dirty, and had bad odor. I called to get fresh towels four times and they never came. I had to go to the front desk to get fresh towels. The only ice available is in the food court or they charge you for a bag of ice from a separate ice machine. The place was dirty and filthy, the place was also broken down in need of many repairs. To walk there was no lighting. You had to do use your own flashlight on their so-called little wooden walkway. I would never ever stay at this hotel ever again or recommend it. this is the first hotel that I’ve been this disappointed with booking from your site. Either this hotel completely lied or you need to update your app because again I reiterate the pictures of the pool are not the pictures of what is actually there the pictures of the pool of this hotel they are of the one down the way! Not of this hotel! Not to mention checking in. They charge me extra money to check in and wanted to charge me extra money for a different room. The staff was rude and disrespectful. Our checkout time was 10 AM and they locked us out of our room at 9:45. I heard people complaining of bedbugs and cockroaches. The hotel is completely rundown and is in dire need of repairs and updating this hotel cost over $100 a night it’s not even worth $25 a night. I did not sleep on the bed at all. Disgusting filthy hotel.

Cheap hotel means cheap hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Quick to respond to issues. But the hotel itself needs an update. Bathrooms are very gross and roaches found in room. Besides being a very out dated hotel if your looking for something cheap and on the beach this is the place.

Great on a budget
This hotel is clean and a good place to stay on a budget. Plus it’s right on the beach. I have stayed here 7 times and service has definitely gotten better. It’s also safe. I have never had any issues

Run.. don’t do it !
Would not recommend at all . It looks great from the outside but when you step inside room it’s bad. The smell was TERRIBLE. Smelled badly of smoke. The room was dirty, the air conditioner barely worked. It was so hot in there. There was huge bugs crawling on the wall. The hinge to the adjoining room was bent and if someone wanted to get in they could.

I’ve stayed at the hotel multiple times with no problems, upon checking in this time I was told to step over to another table to complete registration, the table way Wyndham reps pressuring you to tour their property. I’m on vacation and didn’t appreciate this. I told the NO multiple times it took me just over 30 minutes to get away from them. Next time I’ll check in and walk out the door

It started off wrong. Booked 2 rooms for our family. They booked the rooms for 2 different date's. Big roach bugs running all over the boardwalks at night . Beds are hard as Plywood. Dresser was missing drawers. Sink and toilet was very slw draining. Out side of hotel was very dirty and in bad need of repairs. Pool was not kept up well . View of the ocean was terrible. Trees all in the view . It was not a Good place to stay. Heard a lot of other guess complaints also.

Our first room had sticky floors, a broken toilet seat, the ac wasn’t putting cold air out. The beds were so hard an uncomfortable. Killed two roaches so we changed rooms. The second room was a little better but not by much. We had a tripped power cord so we came back to our room an had water in the floor were the freezer had defrosted. I won’t stay there again.

Just an honest review. For the price, you can’t beat it because It’s right on the beach. But do be sure you have the proper expectations set. The property is old, there are cockroaches, there will be mold, the bathtub wasn’t properly set (at least in our unit) so when you stepped on it, you feel where it’s not stuck down. Our room was to get a light cleaning daily and a full clean every four days. That didn’t happen although it does say you can call the front desk and request it. It’s not terrible, would be the headline of my review. Not great, but not as terrible as it could be.

There is a large number of chain smokers in the hallways and elevators, groups of teens and young adults smoking pot "mahuanana" near the pool arae and rooms, the rancid smell bled into the halls all the way near the lobby.
upon arrival we witnesesd on idividual either drunk or sky high leaning on a pole near the pool.
On our check-in, as soon I checked in I was imidialley pawned off to a lady to tried to force feed me tours and entertainment sedrvices despite the fact I had told her we were tired, had driven 10 hours and we were there for a funeral and still insisted in pushing her services. That made me very angry.

When I checked in I was told that I would have to park in the overflow parking area because I was driving my slingshot and I have a handicap tag and we stayed there the Sunday before and had no problem the lady at the front desk said that there was no way that I parked there the week before some of the cleaning workers remembered us from the weekend before so now I will not go back there and have to walk almost half a mile to park my vehicle we parked our other motorcycle there before as well I guess we should have took photos it’s crazy to make elderly people walk that far in over one hundred degree heat I literally had to lay down from the heat they will not get any more of my friends and family business

I did not like it, the room that they gave me the air conditioning did not work, my two nights that I spent there, were fatal, it was too hot inside the room. And many people I met in the hotel elevator had the same problem.

Front desk lady is rude to answer questions.
The rooms where smaller than expected. I would like to share if you get a bunk bed you don't get a balcony and if you don't get a bunk bed you do get a balcony. The toilet makes noise seems like its going to fall. Doble bed are smaller than usual. Thier is no ice machines working in any building other than in loby or from ice bending machine which you have to pay.The only thing we liked was the pools and private beach. I don't think ill come back here again. By the way the water from the other rooms drip to the ac from our window so if we turned off the air it would make the water noise. The price is cheap but not a good quality of rooms.

I booked this room based on a beach side view and I got a window that barely seen the beach. My beds were rock hard. The futon bed mattress would have been better if there was a piece of plywood on it! Do not get a room here!! It's not worth the money. No complementary breakfast or anything

The rooms were old, I could handle that,however they were extremely filthy,sand everywhere which is understandable had we of been on the beach,which we had Not!! I checked in around 10:30 ,had a hard time finding the room,staff was very unhelpful,even after second attempt to office, I finally left and went picked up my husband from the airport,we basically slept on the horrible beds,went to lunch the next day shopped and checked out didn’t even stay the second night as we just felt nasty from the dampness,and old smell in the room. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this facility.

Gross, and overall hated it
When we’re first arrived the person at the desk was so unfriendly.
The day time receptionists were very sweet and nice. It’s too bad they work here.
When we got to our room it was freezing! I know it’s Florida and typically you’d want AC but it was beyond cold. There were only sheets on the bed, and the cover lay thing that no one wants to use.
There were cockroaches coming out of the wall in the bathroom under the toilet. We didn’t feel safe putting anything on the floor- there wasn’t much space in the room at all. The beds were uncomfortable and very low to the ground. The bed skirts touched the floor- so cockroaches were able to crawl onto the beds.
The toilet barely flushed, the sink was clogged. It was a very terrible experience. The only good thing was the proximity to the beach. Ice cost $6 which was ridiculous.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!
The most horrible trip I have ever had. We was upset from the time we stepped on premises. The staff was very unpleasant, unprofessional, and had to wait in line for almost 20 min to check in. Then we was told of complementary dinner for 2 , then it was taken away because I answered a survey as single, DO WHAT?!? The room was nasty, the shower head was busted, put more water in floor than shower. The bathroom was not clean. Sand still in tub, toilet had not been flushed. BLOOD on bed spread. The lights blinked on and off, and tv never got a clear picture. ALL ice machines were broken on site. The drink machines on 3 floors did not work. When asking for another room was told I would be charged for another complete booking. NEVR received clean linen, or housekeeping to clean bathroom. Could not communicate with any of cleaning staff, no one spoke English. It’s was a waste of money and energy. We have never had such a deplorable stay any where.

They have BED BUGS!!! They didn’t even care! They know they have a problem and choose to ignore it. The whole place is rundown and disgusting! I wouldn’t stay here for free!!!! Everywhere you go is nothing but cigarette smoke smell because everyone is smoking and they don’t care. People smoking weed right in front of children. There was even blood on the floor when we walked in.

It was not a good experience at all.People were smoking pot all over the premises. My wife is allergic to it and that was not good. Service was hard to come by. Seamed like any question was a very big chore to ask.I was charged more on my card than the paper i have in my hand. Definitely would not recommend

I booked this last minute stay because my kids wanted one more day and we couldn’t stay where we already were for one more. When we arrived we were pleased with the over all appearance of the facility, the staff was friendly at check in and the lobby seemed nice. We get to the room the walls and floors are disgusting! The shower was so gross i used sanitizing wiped to wipe it out before i could shower, as well as wiped down the rest of the room. The beds were hard it was like sleeping on a wooden box and the blankets/sheets were stiff and gross feeling. Then at 11:30 pm after we are sound asleep people check in next door very loudly (conjoined rooms) i had to beat on the door to ask them to be quiet. Overall the experience was not great and i think we will avoid this facility in the future.

We loved being beachfront and having two pools to access! A/C didn’t get really cold like we thought and had it turned on 60 and was still warm in the room. Pools were warm like bath water and not refreshing and cool. Overall it was a great time just needs some updating on these two things.

The people at the Boardwalk were very nice what little bit of interaction we had with them. The beach was great. The outside of the hotel looks nothing like what you see in pictures. Very run down, rusty, and dirty. The pool was so cloudy and hot that we never were able to use it because it was disgusting. There were roaches in the stairwell every night. Our bathroom was so gross. Grime and dirt all around our sink drain and the knobs. The tub felt like it was going to fall through when you stood in it to shower. The baseboards in the bathroom were filthy. Beds were clean but the futon on the bunk was very thin. We ended up using an air mattress on top of it. Definitely not a five star hotel but we knew that reserving it. Served it’s purpose for a couple of days but wouldn’t have wanted to stay there any longer and would not book it again.
