The location was very convenient for what we needed. Check in staff was great & helpful. The room was renovated, I believe due to flooding. They renovated the rooms nicely. The only issue we had was the floor in the suite, it was sticky & dirty. I used a bath towel & scrubbed it myself. I didn’t bring it to anyone’s attention, I really was pressed for time & it was what it was.

Hotel room was just renovated, but it was not clean. Our cough had big stains and dust in some air conditioners fans. We complained and the receptionist Grace told us we could see if another room would please us. The other room had mold in the ceiling. Long story short, we kept our room and they replaced our couch cushions, the dust I’ve cleaned myself with a towel. Was promised a discount for the trouble, and got a few dollars out of my bill. The breakfast was the only good part, it has omelette and pancakes fresh made and a lot of options. Definitely a 6/10. For the price charged the rooms need to be better taken care of. It’s a Hilton, right?

DoubleTree in Melbourne, FL - great stay
I really enjoyed our stay at DoubleTree in Melbourne. The staff, ocean view rooms, room style, and comfortable mattresses were exceptional. The shower head seemed to be eco friendly as it used the water sparingly instead of full blast. Our electrical outlet between our beds did not work which made it hard to use phones in bed while it charged. It was hard to find our room after we checked in, as they have two sides. It was late when I checked in and didn't catch all his directions. Luckily, I ran into another employee who took us directly to the room so we couldn't get lost. He was super helpful. I recommend that they have a visual map to help so people don't get lost. It would be nice to have free breakfast. Other than that, it has been a great stay. Right on the beach. Beach is quiet and has plenty of shelling. Beautiful location!

Parking Fee was a sour taste
Stay was great, rooms are clean and comfortable. Not happy with the parking charges !! that was an extra expense that was not disclosed and regardless... plenty of parking.. on a open parking lot... not a great feeling when there is no lack of space to accommodate. other than that... will be back

Its under renovation all around the pool area. Outdoor bar and lounge closed the whole time due to renovations. Not stated on the website that the Seagrapes lounge is closed. Also, parking is $16 a day.... We spent all of our time other than sleeping somewhere else

Nice beachfront hotel
Nice hotel overall. The staff were very accomodating and tbe facility was clean. This is an older property that needs some updating. The televisions and remotes were outdated and the television service went out with a small rain shower. The fan in the bathroom and air conditioner were extremely loud. Despite these small problems, I would stay here without hesitation. The location was perfect and hearing the breaking waves was relaxing at night.

The property is under construction. One tower is closed. There is no beach or pool bar. There’s a make shift/temporary bar inside. There is no hot tub and to walk out to the pool/beach you have to walk through constriction. There is no outdoor dining. The pool loungers have a cost.
Our room was really nice with a patio facing the ocean and the beach access was great!!

The area was nice. Toilet was loose in room 218? Shower door on rollers would not stay closed. Lots of construction, caution tape around pool. Would ne nice if disclosed on expedia prior to booking or durther discounted.

I've stayed at this property a number of times over the last 5 years - this time there was construction on the North Tower. As a result you could jackhammer type noise on the beach (and pool) as they worked on the building and balcony masonry facade. (This was during the late morning and mid afternoon on the two weekdays but seemed to stop around lunch time). The staff are good and the beach is very nice when it is quiet. I will probably avoid for now.

Beautiful view-all rooms have a great view of the ocean. Shower water pressure and temperature were great. Strong AC. Coffee available in the front lobby every morning. Treated myself to one of the famous cookies and it was delicious! You can rent 2 chairs & umbrella from a nice beach rental service for 40$/day. They set everything up and take it down for you. The same rental service also raked the seaweed out of the way which was really appreciated. We did not try out the Sea Grapes bar,restaurant,gym,or pool so can’t comment on those. Location is good if you have a car. Some (about 2-4 restaurants/stores are within walking distance (if you are OK walking about a mile). The hotel does charge for parking, about 15/night, which doesn’t seem necessary considering it’s not city parking.

Prime beachfront seats
My only complaint was with the beach chair rental. They set up their chairs along the whole length of the hotel, so if you brought your own you had to go to the farthest sides. Nobody rented them. They just hogged up the prime beachfront.

Booking about 4 months ago there was no mention that half the hotel was completely closed for major renovations. This had been taking place since October 2022. Construction noise started at 8 am and no chance of sleeping in. Construction debris in hot tub and pool. Small ants in room about size of a pin head (sugar ants) had room sprayed but still persisted. Had been going to hotel for past 12 years and always very good

A decent stay for an oceanfront experience. All the rooms have an oceanfront view which can’t be said about many of the beachfront hotels in the area. The hotel was quiet, the room was clean and had all the basic necessities.
The property badly needs renovations. They are in the process of updating the north tower hopefully common areas are next.
The front desk staff and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. I heard many other staff members discussing how the hotel was falling apart and they hated working there. Wasn’t the most enjoyable hotel stay I’ve ever had.

did not like paying for parking my car. I thought 14.75 was a bit much per night, other places let you park for FREE it just adds to the bill. food was good but over priced also. a 30.00 burger I though was on the high side. other than that nice stay Fred

The property is currently undergoing renovations. Some areas are a little messy, but I’m sure this will be a non issue once renovations are complete. The room is in good condition, but the couch is stained from people sitting on it while wet from the pool or ocean. The bartender was friendly as well.

This hotel is under construction. It does not say so on the website or on the hotels.com page. We were very upset being woken up in the early am hours to construction noises. It's also going on right above the pool and beaches so you can only escape the noise if the workers go on lunch. We asked for a partial refund as it was too high considering the conditions and were denied. We were not happy here at all, do not book.

Overall this was very enjoyable stay, there was some remodel construction taking place at this time however we never want this to take place during our stay I can understand the need for it. We did really enjoy the good access to the beach and definitely would stay again as it was very convenient location for our family living in the area.

I liked the ease of parking. Restaurants around the hotel were close. The staff was friendly. There was a couple items I didn't like. I wasn't notified my room was ready after I was told I would have to wait. The room itself was good except there was broken shutters, the privacy door between the living room and bedroom had a large line going through the middle and lastly the closet doors wouldn't open and close correctly.

Great Hotel, nice staff. Nice pool and beach, the only disadvantage is that you have to bring your umbrella and chairs for the beach otherwise you have to pay for it. Great restaurant close to it. Don't go though to Around the World. Good Ninis cuban restaurant. Blueberry Muffin for breakfast and lunch and Beach Cafe for breakfast.

The staff was nice. Late getting us in. The toilets were weak and had to call room service 3 times in a 3 night stay. The rooms were nice but daily cleaning with out requesting would have been appreciated. We were able to get a joining room with my parents and beach view with a balcony that made it really nice. (The beds were ok..and the pillows were great..and the comfitter sheets stuff could have been better. I would say that with the price and everything included.. it didn't really match a Hilton name.. by it being a Hilton and the cost I was expecting a bit more. But overall nice. I would rate it a 6/7 out of 10.

Not a good stay. Hotel was under construction which is understandable but very messy. The staff made no effort to clean up construction mess and several guest were scooping insulation out of the pool. In addition, the hotel was in desperate need of cleaning and updating. I understand that beach properties are a little more run down but this place was in shambles. We will not be staying there again- definitely not worth the cost

Decent Place for Short Stay
GREAT LOCATION right on the beach - beach is very nice. Chairs are affordable.
Hotel room is a little dated. They are doing work on the balconies to update them. Hopefully a room overhaul is coming soon. Would definitely recommend you prepay for breakfast vs doing it on-site; will save you $10 per person. Parking is uncovered but convenient. Pool area is kind of small based on the number of people in it. Bathrooms by the pool are not operational - you know exactly where people are relieving themselves. We stayed one night before heading to Kennedy Space Center. So it was tolerable. Chris at the front desk is the best thing about this place.

We stayed here with family for spring break. The pool, hot tub, and beach were highlights! Rooms are all suites and were a good size for my family of 4. Room was clean, but I wish you didnt have to call down for trash and basic service. We stayed for 4 days. Would go again.

Needed cleaning and repairs in room. Rug has stains, lamp did not work, was not cleaned well evident when I wiped tables and the balcony chairs and rail down down and had a dirty wipe, the cabinet finish was old and in needed repair near to the baseboard

I booked this for a birthday trip and it was excellent! The rooms directly overlook the ocean and each room has a lovely balcony. Each room also has a bedroom, sitting area with couch and small table, microwave, fridge, and two TV’s. Lots of space! Pool area is large and there’s a only a few steps down to the beach. We rented 2 chairs and an umbrella for $40 for the day and it was well worth it. The front desk provided fabulous service - special shout out to Monique and Bryon. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was good (nothing special but good!). We would definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in the area.

My hubby and I had a great stay for our anniversary. Our room was perfect, very clean and the staff was exceptional, the cookie and water was a nice touch! Our room wasn't ready at 4PM but they gave us a drink voucher and we met one of the bartenders, Jenn who was amazing! Overall an amazing stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Public restrooms had no toilet paper. Main entrance to the room did not close properly, you have to slam the door for it to latch. Bed comforter had black stains on it which appeared to be grease or something of the like. Sliding door to balcony was cracked and very hard to open and close. AC filter was packed with dust. Time for a PM perhaps?
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Check-in was very quick and easy. The view was amazing.

For the price of the hotel, look elsewhere. They have construction going on from 9-6 daily and it’s loud. You can hear it on the beach/pool area when trying to relax. The staff was amazing, however!

This was our 3rd stay here and it is always incredible. Love that ALL rooms overlook the beach and the auites are well equipped. All onteractions with the staff were friendly and welcoming. We would absolutely recommend stating here. Location is excellent as well.

Rented a oceanview suite. Room layout was very nice, view was beutiful. TV in the bedroom was broke, room was very dusty. Woke up monday morning after superbowl to jackhammers. There was nothing on the app warning about heavy construction. Planned on a relaxing monday by the pool or on the beach. Hard to do with jackhammers running all day.

The hotel had construction (we were warned) however, it was a bit messy. I don't understand the reason to charge extra for parking - this is one of those irritating add-on fees. Maybe consider waiving the fee to compensate for construction noise and mess. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
