You will 100% want to stay somewhere else..
This hotel was completely unacceptable and looks absolutely nothing like the pictures. We did not have a trashcan in our room, there was a hole in our bathroom wall, the curtains had disgusting stains on them, there were bugs in our room, the mattress is paper thin, the shower was filled with rust and mold, there was used paper towels on our room floor when we walked in, the list really does go on.

This property is absolutely disgusting. There is mold at the shower head and drywall falling iff. Dirt absolutely everywhere. I have many many pictures of this. This unit should not be rented out to anyone under any circumstance #253

I decided to extend my vacation and there were no vacancies where my initial hotel stay was. This place did not feel safe on approach. I ate the entire cost, as I couldn't get a refund., didn't stay in the hotel a single night. Even the front desk operator said it wasn't safe.
I wouldnt recommened this space to anyone.

This hotel was an absolute catfish. Upon entering the property there are a lot of people hanging out in the parking lot. Also, the room was absolutely disgusting. Appears this place is used as short term rentals/efficiencies. Wish I could add photos of our room. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Left 5 minutes into check-in.

A true dump
I literally checked in 38 mins ago and i do not wish these disgusting unlivable conditions on anyone I walked into a filthy room that liturally smelled like somebody was just staying in it as it reeked like if somebody just finished using the restroom(#2) and heavy cigarette smell Roaches crawling on walls and bathroom trash was left throughout the unit McDonald's bag full of trash a dope bag a needle cap a and a burnt cigarette still sitting on the broken ac/heater the blankets were dirty and oil stained all over cobwebs and heavy amounts if dust build up horrible horrible 41 mins now I've been here I went and found the house keeping lady and let her know and showed her the photos but she was obviously not concerned I want all my money back for this booking as I'll be leaving ASAP I left the friendly gal at the office know and showed her the photos as well and contacted booking I wasn't here a full hour and I had to abandon ship I was so grossed out
Their photos for this property are very very very very desiving and they should really upload what the place is really like

WHAT a DUMP! Since they took a $100 security deposit, the first thing I did was photograph all the damage in the room. Holes in the walls, dents in the doors, chips & burns in the countertops, cracked caulking, you name it. It took 10 minutes and about 30 photos to record it all - just in case they tried to say I did some kind of damage. The only thing in the room that WASN'T damaged was the TV and night stand. There was an 8" spot in the tub that had rusted and been "repaired" with that ceramic chip repair paint.
Then there was the issue of roaches. I saw and photographed 2 full-sized adult roaches and 3 little ones.
When I got out of the shower I made the mistake of walking around the room barefoot - and I discovered the floors were filthy. The flooring color hid the dirt well - but the bottoms of my feet were almost black after just a couple of minutes walking around.
At least the linens looked clean (I checked VERY closely for signs of bedbugs and thankfully there weren't any).
The bed itself was comfortable, so at least there was that.
There were no dishes, silverware, or even glasses in the kitchenette - which seems odd. There was no icemaker anywhere in the whole place.
The staff were friendly and helpful enough, and the area around the hotel was nice.
Overall this was the WORST place I have ever stayed. If I hadn't been so exhausted after 12 hours on the road I would have demanded a refund, checked out, and gone elsewhere.

The tv didn’t work had to call front desk to get it to work they had to put cables and program it then we put stuff in the freezer and fridge and it didn’t work dirty drapes very thin blankets not a very nice place especially for the price and the 100 deposit after you already paid for the room is ridiculous

Disgusting
Horrible! I need a refund. Didn’t get the room I paid for ahead of time. Paid more for less. Then there were zero pillows in the room. Had to wait over an hour just to get service. I had to make my own bed bc they had smelly stained sheets. Never stay here!

Unsanitary conditions and very rude staff
Upon arrival they put us in a room that was not supposed to be vacant. They moved us to another room with a full size bed (when should have been a queen), maggots falling from the roof onto the bathroom sink and small roaches climbing on the walls! We asked to be moved and she refused stating she had already moved us. Granted the first time was beyond our control as she made the mistake of putting us in a non operable room to begin with. She was very rude and just kept asking if we were staying or checking out. She still wanted to charge us full price and not give a refund. The sheets were dirty with blood stains as well. There were long gray things hanging from the ceiling and then they fell the maggots came out and were crawling on the counter.

The staff were very pleasant but limited i was stuck and checked in late but the room was clean then i lost it the refrigerator had empty pizza boxes a bone and a piece of pizza rhe a.c had ro be managed manually but like i said i checked in late and nothing was done by the limited staff that seem to be overwhelmed with issues

The room was beat up, dirty, and over-used. From cracked and gross counter tops to gross and stained beat up wood floors to no plungers in the sinks to rust and grossness in the shower and the caulking it was all just awful.
I actually asked Alexis for some credit or a night free because I tolerated an absolutely disgusting room for the week and I was told the others I could ask for would not be any better. I was just in awe that you would rent such a disgusting room, #109.
Please, I beg of you to give me some credit on my bill as this was not worth what I paid. I did not have the time or energy to rebook somewhere else but this room was not worthy.
The staff, Altheia, Rudy, Alex, Alexis were all unbelievably kind and genuine and really easy to work with. All of them are great ambassadors for you company but the product they have to sell needs some serious tune-ups on the rooms. This was not their fault and I appreciated all of them without exception. Please make sure they hear this as I know they will recall me since I was there for a week.
Finally, please, I beg of you to give me some sort of credit on my card for putting up with such a dive room for a week. I managed to keep my stuff off the floor and the area clean for my things but most would insist on a different room. Please issue some sort of credit to my card as you have now been paid by Expedia. I am due at least one night free or a $75 credit back on my card.
Please let me know what you can and will do. Thx

Absolutely terrible. We walked in the room, looked at the filthy kitchen with gross food splashed everywhere, looked in the bathroom and saw the earwigs in the tub, saw the burn marks on the curtains on our way out the door again, and went strait to the office and checked out again. Took the money loss and went and found another place. Would rather sleep in my car than here.

When I arrived at 11:30pm after an 8-hour drive, the hotel was closed with an unworking phone outside. Eventually a security guard came by and gave me a room-key, but couldn't take any money and told me to go back to the front desk at 7. He really was doing his best to help, but it was definitely not a typical experience. My room was pretty run down, had no toilet paper, soap, or trash can, and the bathroom light didn't work. There were clean towels and hot water. At 7am I went back to the office and the staff was friendly, but this hotel needs a lot of work.

We stayed a couple of nights at this location as it was the closest option to my friends house. Since it is a budget motel we were not expecting much, but this place was really run down and dirty! We didn’t really mind the run down part as it was mostly for sleeping, but the dirt was somewhat gross. Floors were extremely dirty and the white towels had large stains.
A staff member was busting into our room the first morning at 7:45 am without knocking. Luckily we were all dressed and on our way out already, but 7:45 am is way to early, especially when we had another night booked… and who bust into a room without knocking?

Needs A LOT of renovation.
The furniture is old. The toilet moves when you sit down and get up. Towels were minimum. The place really needs some investments made. Won't be visiting again.

Don't stay here! The pictures online are false advertising. In reality extremely poor condition. Sketchy people hanging around and feeling of not being safe. Not friendly for pets, family or pretty much anyone. Spent only a couple minutes inspecting room then immediately checked out and requested a refund (still waiting for that). Front desk clerk was nice, but not very helpful.

I was very much so in shock when I arrived and I wasn’t allowed to check in early when there was sign that said 25 dollars extra for early check in which I had no problem providing. Later in the day I got my room and I wasn’t expecting it to look like a trap house. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos of the room but there were many issues. On the spout of the shower head there was mold and mildew build up, holes in the wall, baseboards falling off, the top and the seat of the toilet didn’t fit properly. The caulking from the toilet was coming up. Whether you’re on a budget or not, don’t stay here.

I had a problem the first day I came here I made a reservation online and paid for it and when I came I was told I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes until I can get a room and as soon as I walk out someone walks in and then more and so I’m feeling unsure if they are going to hand out rooms and to my demise they did and I was instantly upset but that was only the beginning after I had to end up waiting behind 3 other people when I was there first, when I was finally able to be helped I let them know I have a service dog and the lady instantly was demanding me to show her my paperwork and proof I then told her I legally don’t need to show her she kept getting more and more upset so then I had to go walk and get it when I did not need to and then she wanted to be petty when I was explaining to my fiancée on the phone about what was going on she heard me tell him about the service dog incident and she got upset and started saying that she can cancel my room and give me a refund when all I was doing was explaining to my man how they are acting and she got mad so I made them call the manager and she was told she was wrong so basically did all that extra for absolutely nothing and made me show my proof in front of at least 4 people and at that when I got in my room it was disgusting the toilet paper was used and didn’t look like it was changed for a while it had mold or dirty stuff on it and the towels had someone’s hair all over them, the stove nor microwave worked DO NOT COME HERE!

My family and i checked in and was given our first room, there was no shower curtain, waste still in the toilet and clearly not cleaned...we were given a second room and it wasnt much better there wasn't any available towels or toiletries as stated and it was filthy...the air smelt lole stale cigarettes and Fentanyl...we couldn't even get our money back to go anywhere else...will not go back there!!!

The room was invested in bugs they were in the top sieling,bathroom,on our bed o my children’s bed it was awful we were not able to sleep at al that night I will never in my life and the front desk clerk was not able to help out at all and fix this problem I’m so dissapointed.

Best recommendation is pay the insurance to get your refund because if you pick this place you’re not gonna like it and need your money back. terrible conditions listen to the reviews they stay clean it’s unclean first and damages to the property inside the suite follow the recommendations because their spot on. it was like walking on the set for a scary movie.

HomeTowne Studios Phoenix off the Black Canyon freeway was the worst possible "stay," hotel service, and rooms anyone of sound mind could experience. It took at least 50 minutes to get a room due to housekeeping still “cleaning rooms.” I had politely told the front desk receptionist that I had to pick up a friend from the airport at 9:20pm and just needed to quickly get out of my hospital clothes and shower. When I finally did get the room, it was the filthiest thing I have ever been inside of. Firstly, it smelled of cigarettes. I was skeptical that the room had been ever cleaned at all. No part was safe to touch. Disgusting countertops, bathroom, tub, BED BUGS on the sheets!!! And NO supplies whatsoever including basic hotel and HYGIENE necessities like hand soap bar, body wash, towels/washcloths, shampoo/conditioner, NO blanket either!! There was dirt and dust all over. NOTHING was done about the room that night and I was told "housekeeping had gone home." I refused to stay in those conditions as I did not want to spread any pathogens to others, especially patients inside of the hospital I work at. Orbitz booking was contacted and it took over 2 hours for representatives to do anything about it and it wasn't until 5:30AM the next day, literally 30 minutes before I had to go into work, were they able to find me a room elsewhere. So I got no sleep. I contacted the front office the next day to explain the situation & the rep was very short and rude with me and clicked on me!

First of all I guess you get what you paid for but the management here is the rudest inconsiderate I have ever met in my entire life. I have rented this room for my son since late March had nothing but problems with management or front office. Today June 24th my son called me they told him to leave because he had a verbal altercation with someone in the office because they refused to give them towels to take a shower with management started cursing at him and I know he probably lost his temper but today when I help to move out mind you I still have three days left in deposit I asked to speak to someone in the office they said No and when I try to go to the office they conveniently put a sign out from saying cosed for
for cleaning my son wanted to know names of everybody involved there they refuse they slam the door I would never ever recommend staying there I'm out 3 days and also now they can say whatever they want about deposit because they wouldn't even let him check out and part of this you have to check out I never never want anybody to stay there I'm not going to stop at this because they are rude and inconsiderate I do not recommend staying there whatsoever. I am shocked that Expedia even recommends them.

When we got in the room, the whole room was dirty, there were garbage and the bathroom had all stain all over!!! So….dirty! But we don’t have any choice cuz when we moved to another room then it was worst the previous one so we decided to stay on the first room we got! SOOO DIRTY!!!!

Not happy with my stay
The 1st two rooms were very filthy. I moved a total of 3 times before I found a decent room and even that had a foul odor in the sink and a remote that did not work. I absolutely will not stay at this property again.

Would not recommend this place for families
In a bad area, tried to cancel, I was subjected to full price of reservation, didn't stay. Hotel was very musty and unclean. Also they request a fee and promise to return at the end of your trip, but even that was not the case. Very disappointing experience. I would advise to check surrounding areas before reserving.

Went out to Phoenix for a graduation trip and when I got to my room, the room was filthy! Sheets were dirty, floor was not swept or mopped and room smelled like urine and cigarettes. I had to take it upon myself to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the room. Will not be staying there again.
