Much better under new management
Stayed here once last winter and it was not a good experience. Tried multiple rooms and the heat didn't work well in any of them. Seems they are under new management now. The customer service was great, riom was clean, and the heat worked.

I've never stayed at a hotel before that was this disgusting, mold everywhere, mold in shower, dirty shower curtains, room was not cleaned as well as they claim, I highly advise staying somewhere else

Checked in was easy, room however…. Tv remote didn’t work, she brought one. Also told her that the night stand & dresser are dirty and have a substance that looks like glass along with white stuff on it, also blood spatter on the wall & tv. She informed me housekeep would come in the morning. She then left and came back with a towel and wiped the night stand, dresser & tv. Blood spatter I wiped from the wall. Tv would only stay on 5-10 mins then cut off….note in the bathroom says it’s throughly cleaned & then inspected by manager, I guess they all did t see the blood or substances. Idk

The room was 85 degrees when i walked in. Couldn't get it to cool down for sleep. People next door very loud until very very late. It's a party place. Stay elsewhere.

This property appropriate for an overnight stay for a single person. I wouldn't recommended an extended stay, especially with elderly family members. My room had a refrigerator which didn't work. My mom had a room where the freezer hadn't been cleaned after someone spilled juice inside. Bathrooms were clean yet dimly lit. This property is serviceable yet in definite need of an upgrade.

The first room they gave me was filthy, the AC wasn’t working and I even found what I believe was a very alive wasp inside. The second room they switched me to had a working AC but was still dirty. The room was so cold, and the sheets didn’t provide any warmth; I had to use the heater to be able to sleep (in the middle of summer, by the way). I checked every corner of that bed before I slept on it, not all lamps worked, there was no toilet paper and the bathtub was dirty (luckily I wasn’t going to use it). Don’t ever stay there, pay the extra bucks for a better hotel; I learned the lesson.

Lamp missing shade on lamp beside kitchen area. Had to hunt for the one trash can, It was iin the back of the bathroom sink cabinet. The AC was weird...When on the air was ice cold and you needed to cover up. As soon as the AC stopped the room was so hot we would sweat. No shampoo. One of the main reasons we choose this motel was for "breakfast" which turned out to be granola bars.

Just an ok ok one!
I am not really impressed with this hotel of Extended Stay. Looks like the establishment was an old one and not much improvements were done. The room was ok. If you need a place to stay for a day or two for a less price compared to other ones in that area, you could choose this. After staying, I thought I could pay the extra 10-15 for other hotels. The potty got stuck. The shower was not up to mark. Breakfast to-go comprised of some muffins and oat meal bars. One other guest waited for coffee and was told that won't be available for that day any more since the unit went bad. One good thing this hotel is pretty close to IAD. Overall not a good experience.

I can get all that plus more elsewhere for the same $100+.
Had to move rooms for a clogged toilet.
TV wouldn’t stay on.
Had to ask for a clock and a telephone.

This place will show you how to appreciate and love your own home.
My room's tub\shower was peeling so I had to watch out for that while taking my lackluster shower. The white stains on the "seen better days" chair in the very small room held my bag nicely. I like the motel's direction in using a blanket for the bed that was a thin as the bed sheet itself. Somehow that made falling asleep on this top-of-the-line mass shelter bed come together.
After a night filled with that "I wonder what kind of drug deal is happening just a few doors down the walkway of my strip mall motel room" thoughts, I woke with the excitement of getting my hands on some of that "free breakfast" that was advertised. It was a godsend. A few muffins in a clear plastic bag with no name on them underneath a coffee maker that had to come from a bodega that just got a new one. Sure, you could've got some of the crackers that were on the shelf, but those muffins had color to them, and who is going to pass up some color to start there day. And crackers are for soup. Which I'm sure that coffee maker makes as well.

Cold rooms
Checked in and found the heat in my room was left off so the room was cold. Turned on the heat which blew very cool air. Let it run thinking it might warm up which it didn't. Tried to call the desk but the phone in the room didn't work. Went to the front desk and they changed my room. Second room was just barely warmer, still quite chilly, and the heating unit only blew cool air like the unit in the first room. Didn't have time to keep changing rooms so I just tolerated it. This place might be ok in the summer but I wouldn't recommend it in the winter.

Worst Hotel Room Ever
It was midnight when we got in, so my kids were too tired to move rooms, but...
there was no bathroom light, there was a hole in the bathroom wall, trash in the kitchen sink, a slightly open refrigerator we were afraid to open, no plastic bathroom sink cups, blood on the wall near the window, no lamp to plug into the bathroom to get light (I did try to use a lamp but it had no switch and was so dirty I had to wash my hands with soap and water). And the overhead light was hanging down. It was the most disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in, and I have been to third world countries.
In the morning, the clerk gave me half my money back ($65) and let us shower in the next door room. I should have received a full refund.
The room needs to be condemned.

Dirty old not kept up smelly
No one was there for late check in at first, the first room they gave us reeked of cigarettes. They showed us 2 more and one stunk of sweat and musty. We took one but it was old and dirty, spider in the shower, not mopped, old appliances and fixtures, dingy shower rusted head. Overall dirty. The bed was ok.

Absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It was extremely dirty and gross. Would have left if there was any other availability in the area. We were only there because our flight was cancelled and every other hotel was full.

The trash cans were overflowing underneath the steps there were cigarette butts everywhere around the steps and outside the doors. I had to go back and ask for another room because as soon as I sat down on bed my nose started running from the smells from smoking and rug was totally dirty. The second room I went in I had a wood floor was not nearly as bad but the bathtub was full of hair that was someone else's the bathtub was never even cleaned. Where can I send pictures. I was there at just before 12 and left3 hours later because I started feeling sick I have pictures of the trash cans over flowing with trash on ground around cans. And trash under steps that looks like it’s been there for years. Cigarette butts all over the place that you can tell has been there for a long time between cracks in concrete around steps.
I need a number of this hotel chain so I can demand at least something be done or the health department should be called in on this hotel. If I was lucky I got an hours worth of sleep only because I was passed out tired.
I would strongly recommend you take this hotel off of your list immediately

Check in clerk was uninterested in checking me in. When she gave me the key she gave me a vague arm swing to direct me to the room. My husband and I proceeded to drive around the building looking for the room numbers which were so small and almost unintelligible. The covering on the bottom of the bed had dirt marks on it. The curtain that was supposed to cover the closet area looked like it hadn’t been washed in years

The staff, headed up by manager Mr. Azhar Mushtaq were always friendly and accommodating. Whether it was helping with coins for the laundry or allowing their guests flexibility upon checking out, the staff always aimed to please and was very helpful during my many stays at the hotel. The location was quiet and housekeeping was always available to offer clean towels. If you’re looking for an accessible hotel to stay that’s literally around the corner from Dulles airport, this is it. Check in/ check out is quick and easy. You’re within a very short distance of restaurants and a 20 minute drive from Tyson’s corner, if you’re looking for some great shopping. Rates are beyond affordable and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

I would never stay here again. There was blood stains on the sheets, the sheets were not clean with little black dots all over the place, and it smelt like mold.
The door did not lock well and didnt fit the door frame. The blanket was incredibly itchy and the air conditioner was incredibly loud and needed to be serviced. For its close proximity to the airport I was shocked they didnt offer a shuttle. It was also incredibly difficult to communicate with the front desk staff- they rarely answered the phone and in person there was a language barrier.

Won't stay there again.
TV did not work, shower and sink water was warm at best. Woke up with a rash on my face and arms. Guess either something bit me, or I am allergic to the detergent they use to clean the sheets. Dried urine on the toilet. One or two of those issues I could look past as being a off day. But not a list like this. I would have checked out and stayed somewhere else but I was so tired and jet lagged. Plus trying to get my money back would have been a big long drawn out process. But I will not stay there again.

Ugh!!
This hotel is dingy and has so many things wrong with it. There was no smoke detector in my room, the mattress was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable, there were no wash cloths in the bathroom and the toilet would not flush unless I took the lid off the tank and pushed the fill valve down myself. The first room they put me in reeks of cigarettes and the second one was a little better until everyone outside decided to smoke in front of my air conditioner and the smoke smell got sucked into the room. The person at the front desk was very nice and changed my room for me as soon as I asked and brought me pots and pans and dishes but that does not make up for the fact that this place is very run down and in need of a major overhaul or demolition.

I work at the airport, so I got a room so I wouldn’t have to drive home. I’ve stayed here before but it’s more for convenience instead of quality. First it took my room half the night to warm up. That heater is not very good. Next I took a shower and there wasn’t a wash cloth, just towels. I can go on but I will just say that you get what you pay for and I got the bare minimum.

Front desk was unattended upon checkin at 4pm- had to call to get a worker to the desk. The toilet tank lid was off of the toilet upon arrival to the room and the bathtub did not drain during use. Overall it wasn’t dirty, just needs some attention.

tthe place was supposed to be non smoking but the room that got was so stinky, so I had to tell the person on the front desk who was not a happy at all and changed the room but the second one was the same the sheets were filthy. I needed a good night sleep but I got a sleepless night instead. I will never stay in that place again and I will tell all my friends so disgusting and dissatisfying experience. the person in the front desk was very rude.

After check in, went to my room and the door handle stuck to the point that I would literally have to push down on it with my body weight and two hands to open. The room was clean, but there were no cup for water or a bucket for ice, not was their any ice in the freezer. There were no extra blankets available except the thin one on the bed. When I called for more, was told there were none. The toilet had a sign on it that said that the toilets were upgraded to eco-friendly toilets and don’t need to be held down to flush. But they didn’t flush at all and at one point it started to overflow.

Shameful is how I can summarize my experience with this hotel. I called ahead of time to inform the front desk of our late check in, when I got there for check in I waited outside on the phone for 10 minutes until someone opened the door. Upon checking in, I inquired about upgrading to a double bed and my question was ignored and I was just told NO! We did not spend much time in the hotel, as we mainly just needed to sleep there. On what was supposed to be our last night, my husband found COCKROACHES!!! I called the front, nobody answered. I called Expedia and they began to assist me with contacting the hotel regarding this issue. We eventually decided to leave and not stay the night, because if there are COCKROACHES in one room, more likely they’re in other rooms too! I dropped off the keys at the lobby and told the woman working there the situation and all she said was sorry. I asked for the manager, she said he was not there. The woman said she could not resolve anything, that the manager was the only person that did that (what kind of customer service is this?) So we left the hotel, tired and annoyed and began our drive back to Chicago. I still don’t have a resolution for a refund due to the disgusting conditions of the suite! I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel, STAY AWAY if you don’t want to get COCKROACHES all over your personal belongings and in your personal space. P.S. I was also informed from a local resident that the hotel is known to have bedbugs too.

Broken glass and trash in the walkway/hallway (walkway/hallway to rooms is not enclosed) for 3 days. I told them about it after the first night's stay and it was still there the day I checked out.
My "smoke-free" room smelled like cigarettes.
Someone tried to enter my room at 7:26 a.m. the first morning - I heard them messing with the door, and my dog immediately started growling directly at the doorknob when he heard it (really glad he did). I informed the front desk about the incident about 30 minutes after it happened and asked them to see if it was another guest or housekeeping, front desk said "No one with a card tried to get into your room", and made no efforts to assuage my concerns.
TV stopped working last night of the stay.

We had reserved a night at Extended Stay America in Sterling, Washington D.C. for October 22nd in March. When we arrived, we were told there was no reservation for us and they didn't have any available rooms. Needless to say, I will never book anything on the Orbitz site again!

Save your time don’t even look any further than this review. You will find a nicer clean her room and an ez 8 motel. Hotel literally had roaches. The bathtub glaze was chipped and falling out so bad that I had to cut my foot. My room has not been cleaned once while I was there. They charge me 20 extra dollars for an additional pillow because they only gave me one. They charge me twice and I still have not received a refund. They overcharged me. You’re much better off finding a dumpster to sleep in is there room stunk. I have absolutely nothing nice to say about the whole ordeal of my trip but this was the icing on the cake.

The card in the room told us to ask for amenities- they had none. What hotel doesn't offer earplugs? Also- we were woken up at 8am by housekeeper on our last day there. Check out was 11. Wth?
