We liked the location to the Westgate District. It was an easy 10-15 min walk; well-lit with nice sidewalks. The thermostat in the room was amazingly dysfunctional. The room was 66° when we arrived. I changed the thermostat to heat the room, and we left for the evening. When we came back several hours later the room had warmed by 1 degree. I tried to get the thermostat to register warm air, was unsuccessful and turned it off. I could hear the fan blowing all night but couldn’t find any way to turn it off - the thermostat already registered off. Was woken up at 5:30 because I was cold - the thermostat registered 58°. I tried again to get the room warmer and was finally successful. By the time we left at 9:30, the room hadn’t reached the set temperature and cold air was blowing again. One of the worst nights I’ve had. We’ll never stay at this Residence Inn again.

A bit of a strange layout, had to walk down several long hallways from front desk/dining area to end where our room was located. Was clean, felt safe, parking was all around building so we used back entrance locked door mostly. Our room must have had a teenage boy living on the couch, the whole thing smelled like feet :( Used lots of Lysol, wished I had fabric spray.

Way overpriced
Check in person not friendly, was unaware of a parking fee and an additional 20 hold in case I charged something to my room. It seems excessive. The room was ok but not worth 175 dollars a night.

First when checking in the lady at front desk was not compassionate just stickle for rules that made my wife feel like she was doing something wrong. She called me upset. I added her to the reservation so she could check in. Very easy to do it did not require all the grief she was given. Then she gave us an accessible room. It was not what we reserved! Be wary of this place

The property, lobby, breakfast area and the rooms are clean, well kept and excellent. The outside seating area and around the pool were horrible
Dirty unkept and truly mesdy. The pool was dirty The hot tub was at least 3 to 4 in hes low on water maki g the skimmer not operational and the just to just blow air bubbles up and give a true thrust of water out into the tup. This area needs immediate attention
My background is 40ys running pools and spas im aquatics for park and recreation departments.

Room was clean and spacious the problem was that our room faced the back parking lot on the 1 st floor and I couldn’t close the main curtains that meant any one could see in our room from the outside the only covering was a thin white curtain I did not feel safe or uncomfortable.

Our stay at the Residence Inn Phoenix Glendale was extremely pleasant. We stayed in a 2-room suite. This included 2 bedrooms, with doors! There was a queen bed in one room and a king bed in the other. There were 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. In the kitchen there was a full size stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. All the kitchen items (plates, cups, bowls, silverware, etc) are included. There is a thermostat that controls the temperature in all the rooms. It felt like a small apartment with plenty of room to spread out. With 2 early teen girls in tow, it was an extremely pleasant stay!

Overall, the facility was pretty clean. That's everything good I can say. The staff was just awful. They refused to do or say anything about people smoking and drinking at the pool. One guy even had a powered speaker blasting salsa music and staff just walked right by countless times. Grab bars in both elevators were just hanging off. Door handle on my door was broken and never fixed and the guy working overnight at the front desk was seen sound asleep in the office. When checking out, one guest was willing to pay for 2 rooms for 4 weeks and she almost let the guest walk out. Absolutely terrible customer service. But if you don't like enforcement of rules and a hotel overtaken by long term residents and baseball teams, then this hotel is for you!

The pool heater was broken for our entire 10 day stay, which was the main reason why we chose a hotel with a pool. I asked the front desk to have a manager call me but I never received a call.

The manager on duty gave us a free upgrade, from a room to a suite with handicapped access, without us asking for it. I think she noticed my limitations at check-in and had this suite available. So very kind of her! The suite was very nice and comfortable!
The only thing that seemed odd was that the hotel charges $5 parking fee per day. I have never experienced that anywhere. One thing that was bothersome was that the A/C was controlled by a third party and was blowing cold air with a high-flow fan onto our bed. The engineer came and tried to adjust it but the only thing he could do was switch the A/C off altogether. He said he gets a lot of complaints about this.

Good location, comfortable room
We spent 9 nights here to explore Phoenix and attend several spring training MLB games. Location is in a nice area with good freeway access. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning and used the pool and hot tub a few times. The employees were all friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable.

When we went to check in the front desk person told me that he had given away the room we had made a reservation for and we were downgraded to a lower room. We were checking in before the check in time as I had requested an early check in and we were told that there were no more rooms available other that a regular room. We had reserved a one bedroom suite and he had to make the decision to give our room to someone else. How it does that work?

Nice suite, but some maintenance issues.
The room was very nice but had some issues. One bathroom had water backup in the tub when you showered, the hook double hook on the back of the door pivoted when you placed a towel on it to dry out, the fan made weird sounds when turned on and off and the water at the sink barely trickled out on the hot side and didn't get hot. The handle in the tub fell off in the second bathroom of the suite.

Our stay over Thanksgiving?
Fireplace stopped working during our stay. Bathroom sink leaked that the carpet in front of the bathroom sink was soaking wet waited three days to get it fixed since it started leaking on Thanksgiving day The carpet in front of the refrigerator had been tore up by a dog and the carpet tacks were sticking up definitely hurt when we stepped on them overall a nice place still and they are remodeling so we’re taking that into consideration

Beautiful room with a view
My room was very clean except for a crack in the bathroom vanity sink. Was going to check if it was leaking through but you cant see under there. Tried to use it sparingly just in case. Orher than that the room was beautiful. The hotel outside looks amazing!

Friendly staff 5 star, but under renovation cause needs updating. Food staff friendly but food lacking in flavor, although good breakfast variety.
Non smoking room had faint smoking smell. The place has lots of potential. Loved the 2 bed 2 bath suit. However no pots to warm food up on stove.
Couldn’t get the tv to work, so resorted to Netflix on my phone… lol!

Cardinals Thursday Night Football Game Stay.

Needed a last minute hotel room for a concert at State Farm stadium, this hotel was the last option within walking distance that had availability. It was just my husband and I and we ended up getting a 2 bedroom suite because that was all that was left, so it was very expensive for what we needed, but it was worth it to be able to walk to the concert. Would stay here again.

The hotel room was spacious, decorated tastefully, clean, and had dishes, silverware, and full kitchen. The pool was wonderful. What i didnt like was rhe rude front desk lady, and having ro walk ro the hotel.next foor for a bag of ice. When i for there, i told rhe lady that i had paid online via expedia. She didnt say mich but took my name, ID and card used for purchase. She then silently started to slide my card. I asked what she was doing and she said she was charging a.$20 incidental hold. It would have been nice if she told me rather than doing it in silence. She also failed to mention they dont have ice and i need to go next door for ice.

cleanliness of room is important to me and it was clean but two things that could be improved on the quality of the room for the price of the room ...1) the shower drain was not draining well so it needed to be cleaned out more often 2) the coffee pot is outdated and coffee given for use makes a very weak pot, many hotels now have keurigs available for use in rooms
