Cleanliness in room was under par for a hotel. Stain in toilet hair next to bath tub and sink. I was only there for one night. But for $60 you get what you pay for. Service was great last at night was smiling and pleasant fast check in. And cute which made my night after a long day.

Clean room, price was great, front desk person was super nice and friendly. Radisson needs to know that the person working the front desk was super nice and helpful and should be praised for her help. This was a 4 pm check in on Saturday Jan 13th

Got a room above washer dryer utilities that was noisy and couldnt sleep, room smelled with cleaner or stink-pretty that may have been to cover up some other smell, not good

Broken toilet would not flush and overflowed on first use. We were told this was happening a lot and maintenance doesnt come until next morning (this was 6pm), so we were offered towels to clean up all the water and told we could use their plunger if we wanted, otherwise we wouldn't have a bathroom the whole time. We drove 6.5 hours for an event, got back late and then had to do our own maintenance, resulting in 2am bathroom cleaning (the overnight shift person gave us the towels and plunger). Finally get to sleep by 3 and housekeeping enters our room at 830 am, so we just left instead of trying to get more sleep before the drive home. Also, clean up some of the hundreds of dead bugs laying in the entrances. Disappointing that staff expects guests to take care of this type of thing. What if we were elderly or disabled?? Also, if check in is 3pm and check out is 11am, wouldn't most maintenance issues be found in the evening hours? Yet no maintenance avaliable or staff willing to help? Not a good experience.

I would not recommend this property to anyone. It was a terrible experience, but thankfully, Orbitz worked to help correct being charged double the reserved rate.

Good location but overpriced. The very few staff were friendly, the manager was surly. Every thing seemed self service (get own toilet paper, leave out garbage, no room cleaning until 4th day, wonky door lock). Restaurant wasn't open and I wouldn't pay $23 for a sandwich if it was!

The price for this hotel was way too expensive for a game weekend. The room had not been vacuumed, was dusty in the front hotel staff need a class on professionalism, and how to deal with customers in a friendly manner.

Not worth the price
I understand having to jack up prices for football But the elevator carpet was filthy, we found ants in our room and the grout was crumbling. At $300 a nite not worth it.

I paid for a king bed room and was put in a two bed room I had to go back down and request the proper bed type. The couch in the room was beyond filthy and no one bed a dog would want to sit on it.

There were brown spots all over the wall above the window, bathroom was dirty, and the toilet kept clogging. We stayed for 2 nights (5 people) and we had to ask for trash bags because the tiny little trash can was not enough and no one ever came to change it out or give fresh towels. If we needed something, we had to go down stairs and ask for it. Also, breaskfast is expensive with limited options. There were more breaskfast options going elsewhere for the same price range. The pool area was good and the staff were friendly.

Minutes after I entered the room I discovered a dirty toilet seat. I asked an associate in the hall to come and clean our toilet. She did. She said this was not her room to clean but she would do it. The room was dusty as well. Overall material condition was below average, bathroom tiles broken, stains, chipped walls. Minimal amenities. Elevator carpet very soiled. It just had a very OLD and tired feel.

After driving 5 1/2 hours on a Friday, we arrived to a room where the AC was not working. The receptionist stated there were no additional rooms and maintenance was not available. She offered us a discount, but stated she could not authorize any discount or refund. Anything less than a full refund for the room is unacceptable.

Didn’t spend much time in hotel. A late arrival and early departure but appeared clean and convenient. Would have liked to have some form of breakfast options beside the restaurant more from a time and convenience point of view.

We found 2 bugs in the bathroom as soon as we got in the room and the sink was not draining properly. We stayed in a 2 queen with a sofa bed because we’re a bigger family. The sofa bed did not have any sheets or pillows available. We were too tired to ask for them so we just used a flat sheet and shared pillows. We stayed 2 nights and made due with what we had but would not return.

Three items. First, it was noisy. I could hear people laughing and shouting most of the night in the hall way. Second, I thought I zip down for quick breakfast from a buffet, but was told I would have to place an order with a waiter. I sat for 15 minutes and no one came. I asked the manager if I could just get a bagel or something quick. He looked and agreed the waiter was missing and so provided me the bagel. Third (and most important to Expedia users), the front desk seemed to take great joy in telling me they would no provide me a receipt since I booked via Expedia. They said if I wanted a receipt, I should have booked with them directly. He was smiling as he said it.

Holiday Party Getaway
We were staying there for my companies Holiday Party, the party got moved due to an issue with the hotels liquor license. We stayed anyway, the hotel was clean and comfortable, the restaurant was closed, I'm assuming because of the liquor license issue. The hotel worked out fine though.

My family recently stayed for two nights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and contemporary. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The place is in a good location within Ames. I would recommend this hotel.

No upgrade was offered and when I inquired about the free bottle of wine I was told that I could not get that because I booked through Expedia. In addition they turned the water off at 8:00 am for maintenance. I was not made aware of this when I checked in.

Visiting our son at Iowa State. Great location, very close to Iowa State. Customer Service was vey good. Overall the condition of hotel is fine but they could use a few updates. Our room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Yes we would stay here again.

Like the modern design but be honest
I waited to check-in almost 30 minutes however the counter employee was very nice when it was my turn. Restaurant and bar were both closed due to new ownership which was frustrating as that along with the note on the website that there was a HotTub which does not exist made the weekend a bit frustrating as what was described on the website was not true in person

The night we arrived we were greeted by a very unpleasant employee. Then we were told that the Gold member amenities that were listed when I booked (and still are) weren't available. The reason we chose this hotel was specifically because of that amenity. He then told us that he couldnt do anything because I booked through a third party. He was extremely rude to us and our 16 year old daughter when we asked any questions.
To make matters worse the room we got the door wouldn't latch shut so we had to keep the dead bolt on it the whole time and take all our stuff if we left the room. Good thing because our key cards didnt work either. By far the worst guest service I've ever received!!

Ok enough, great front desk staff member
The staff member at the front desk was amazing even thought she was the only one during a very busy evening. She had a lot to juggle, but did so with a positive and friendly attitude.
Disappointed that the restaurant was only open for breakfast, but not dinner and drinks.
The room was ok, lacked on TP, enough fresh towels, and bedding for the pull out bed. Had to go down to the desk to get more.
They need to hire more help.

Upon checking in was told I should not have been able to make the reservation online as they did not have anyone to clean rooms. I was given a clean room but the hotel seemed run down and understaffed, seems to be a theme at many hotels these days.

Upgrade not Desired
Reserved room with two Queens via Hotels.com. Arrived and got upgrade to King room. Problem was we needed two beds. Only option was pull out sofa. G-daughter stuck on pull out. No bedding for pull out, had to go to front desk and make own bed.

I didn’t like anything about the property and actually switched to another hotel after only one night! The air conditioning in my room didn’t work! The internet didn’t work and there was actually a bug crawling around on my sheets! The facility gets an “F”! The staff was helpful!

The lobby was pretty and the staff was very friendly. I liked that it had USB ports for charging. The elevator, hallways, and room were not very clean. There was candy on the floor in our room. When we turned on the faucet the handle fell off. My room view was of the roof with a large utility box:-(

Loved the room. The only friendly staff i met were the cleaning staff. The people at front desk were unfriendly except a girl that worked Saturday night. She was very helpful. Sunday front desk staff left something to be desired. Not friendly at all. I am a silver member and should have got a 11.00 credit for breakfast. Nothing was ever said. Sad breakfast anyway. As i said they only thing good about this place was the room and cleaning staff.

I never do this, but I would never stay here aging. There were ants on one of the beds, and the other bed (double Queen room) was broken, terrible mildew in the shower, the towels were tattered and grungy looking. Oddly enough, they have licking exterior doors on the elevator (no I’m not kidding, and I have NEVER seen this before). The gal at the front desk was cold and unhelpful….didn’t even say hello, and when I asked for a recommendation for dinner, her response was “you have food dash, don’t you?” Unfortunately, Not a successful stay.

Well for starters the fire alarms went off four times. One being at 1 am. No apology was offered and no solution was offered to apologize for the inconvenience. The room had a horrible musty odor. The bathroom appears that someone had tiled over a broken floor and I felt like I was going to fall right through it. This is was an absolutely horrible experience and I won’t be back.

Website offered breakfast and a restaurant.
There was not a restaurant. Breakfast was nutragrain bars and coffee. We picked this place as we needed to save time as we had an early start time for a college tour.
Pool was also advertised as an amenity and was closed.
Check in staff was not friendly.
Checkout staff was very friendly.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was fairly clean. There was hair in the shower and some garbage in the trash can from the previous guest. The parking lot was very rough and it was a strange entrance in to the parking lot. The staff that checked me in was not friendly. A young girl working the front desk was friendly.
