It was surprising, because so many of the reviews mentioned that it was recently renovated, but the baseboards had inches of dirt on them. And there were questionable splashes on the side of the countertop in our hotel room.the service was great, but this hotel is not new or clean.

The phone to call front desk was dusty. The bedroom matress box frame was super dusty, lint was very visible. The comforter had a big round transparent stain. The refrigerator was pretty noisey. Lastly the shower head was difficult the shower , I couldn’t position the hose right. Oh and found hair on the towel the wasnt mines when I first entered the bathroom.positive note Staff was very friendly!!

The property is clean and the room was very comfortable. I liked the idea of a recliner chair and there was a very good workable desk. Close to car parking and front desk and morning breakfast. Hot tub was very good.

The TV was not working. It was quite noisy from the window (highway). Dust and mold around vents.

Staff and check-in were great, lobby is very nice. Room smelled a bit funky, tub was filthy and there was a stain appearing to be of the masculine variety on the recliner. Quick stay to get some sleep while passing through so I didn’t make a fuss but the room cleaning needs to be more thorough.

Disappointing for La Quinta
We stayed one night at La Quinta for pleasure. The hotel looked very pleasant on the outside, but we found the room to be rather dated. The staff was polite and professional during check in / out. The room could have been cleaner, we noticed quite a bit of dog hair in the carpet and on the couch. also the room next door had a dog who was quite vocal periodically. Not terrible for a one night rest, but I would not pick it for an extented stay.

The bathrooms are very old with water damage to the doors and walls. There were also rust stains on the bathtub and unknown black rings around the drain. Asked to switch rooms but all the bathrooms were the same. Would not go back!

Front Check-in clerk was polite and courteous. The room was somewhat clean but stunk of Cigarette smell. Bathroom was clean - no shampoo or conditioner.
TV was smallest I have seen in any brand of hotel and we were unable to get technical assistance to watch Netflicks which did not work at all. Front Desk Clerk told us he could not help. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY

Everything was good except for the absolutely terrible FREEWAY NOISE that could not be blocked out. It felt like the window was open the whole time. The window is a cheap single pane window and has no noise canceling capability. There must be a way to add a curtain that can be closed to block the free way noise.

It was ok, female at check in with attitude;beware
It was a great check in at first. The second day, there was dog poop by the elevator. For the breakfast, there were out of some things and when asking the female, she said she did not work that area and would jot be restocking breakfast items with 15 min left to closing it. Female also had an attitude. Also, they had no condiments for breakfast orher than salt, pepper, and syrup. There was not a wide variety of bfast items either. There were only 2 towels for the 2 nights we stayed which we had to ask for more.

My stay was good. Exactly what I needed. a few lil things: key cards wouldn't work for one of the doors, the common areas could have been a little cleaner (swept, mopped def not done daily) but other than that I am ready to book again

Comfy, well priced, but could have been better
TV was too small for the room, was hard to watch TV comfortably, tub is not flat so it felt unstable to use the shower and had low water pressure, TP was 1 ply, so had to use 3 X's as much to get the job done and elevators had the same debris the whole 3 days we were there, so it was clear they were not swept/mopped daily. Room was clean, bed was comfy, fridge was roomy and cold, so, over all, we enjoyed our stay. My fiance would have liked to have had eggs for breakfast, but the muffins were good.

Handicap accessible bath shower head would not stay in place. Kept sliding down. Tub very worn. Had to clean out the drain as it was clogged. Desk chair arms were very sticky with something.

My stay was good. I was in town for a wedding. I was traveling alone for a week so safety was big for me. The downside was I was told that the room would be serviced in the middle of my stay but was not told when. I only had my sign for DND up for maybe one hour on the 3rd day. It wasn’t a huge deal since I was able to get addition toiletries from the front desk so I didn’t complain. I did have to bother housekeeping one morning to ask about disposing of trash since the room wasn’t serviced. The morning I left, I also spotted a bug of some sort in the bathroom, but I was headed out the door to catch my flight, so I didn’t bother with it. I also have to say that the breakfast could be switched up. They served the same thing every morning, and they didn’t even have decent creamer for the coffee, which I thought was odd.

This is a great location when visiting Phoenix/Ahwatukee. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and walking/hiking trails. The accommodations were very good and you can’t beat the winter rate.

The stay was alright. Breakfast was good. The downside on this hotel is the amount of hair that was everywhere in our room. Hair was all over bathroom sink, floor, shower, and even on the bathroom door!!! The shower floor was very stained and I found some hair on the bed sheets. The elevator door was tagged all over and felt scary to go on. overall 5/10 stay.

We liked the location and overall look of the outside and inside, the room was mostly good, comfortable bed, fridge, clean overall and most things working properly… Cons- hair in the bathtub, and the bathtub stopper didn’t work so my wife couldn’t take a bath. We reserved the room for two nights on Expedia and found out our cards didn’t work the next day because the lady that checked us in only put us down for one night.

Room was nice layout but dirty and never had housekeeping come by to clean or leave new toilet paper or shampoos. Everyday we had to track down a housekeeping person to get about mentioned items . Never had new towels after first day . Keys constantly were going bad and had to go to front desk multiple times every day to get them fixed so we could get in our room . You have people living in a Rv in your parking lot.
Property has potential but it’s not living up to it . .

The hotel is excellent, the beds are comfortable and the room is very clean and noise-free, you rest very comfortably, the people at the front desk are very friendly from the moment you arrive until you check out and the breakfast is very good, they only need to put some fresh fruit But other than that everything was excellent, I would definitely return.

When we turned on our AC unit, it had a strong smell of Urine. When I asked the front desk about a possible change of rooms, they had no more avaible for the night. We were told to put coffee in the filters over the unit to absorb the smell. In the morning, i took a shower and the tub wouldn't drain and our toilet was clogged. They were able to change our room the next night, but our stay just wasn't pleasant.

When checking in notice, the bathroom top light was out. Advised the front desk of the lighting not working properly was told Maintenance would fix the problem. Stayed there for three days and light was not fixed no accommodations or anything for the inconvenience was offered.

My experience
The room was clean, but needed a few more bathroom amenities. Also the hot tube needed to be hotter and pool a little cleaner, but they were both useable. The breakfast was good. Other than that everything was really good.

When i got there, it was too early to check in, but they let me park my car there until check in. When i checked in the young lady at the desk was so kind to me and helped me get into my room, as i am technology challenged. The room was just the right size, and so very comfortable. I am away from my home, alone for the 1st timein years and i felt very comfortable here. Thank you so much for such a welcoming experience. Lol, oh, and its so unbelievably quiet here!!! I love it. I will come back here!

hot tub is not maintained. jets don’t work properly. there was a lot of sand in the hot tub. breakfast is decent with sausages, eggs (over hard, yolks broken), and make your own waffles as the main staple. my key kept needing to be re-magnetized. side and rear door key access worked the first night then was broken - which is not good because these are the doors by the handicap parking spots. employees are helpful and pleasant. room, bed, and bathroom are all clean and maintained well.

Breakfast was really good, staff was nice. Pool was nice. Room was average. Shower was not good. Water pressure was not very good, temp was good. Food close by (cracker Barrel) and pizza places. Just off main hwy. but quiet. Walls in rooms are paper thin could hear the neighbors on every side. Lobby area was nice. Not bad for a 1 night stay.

Piss smelled room
Clerk at desk at check in said we got the last room even the reservation was made months ago and was prepaid. Got to the room the air was set to 56 degrees and the window was wide open. The room smelt like piss. They knew it and guess they tried to air it out and hope no one would notice. The room should not have been rented.
