All of the front desk staff and housekeeping staff that I encountered were pleasant. The hotel itself looks recently refurbished and is in excellent condition. The rooms are very modern although mine was missing a couch that I was expecting would be there based on pictures and description.
Very close to the beach but not right on the beach.

I had to beg for them to clean the room. Front desk extremely rude. No amenities. Had to pay $39 a night valet, no microwave in room, and empty bath wash.

The decor is up to date but that doesn’t matter if the upkeep isn’t there. I could easily tell after entering the room that it had not been properly cleaned in a while. There were stains on the walls as well as someone else’s hair in the shower. There was also multiple stains on the chaise which was one of the final straws of me not wanting to stay.

The staff was terrible they are rude and messed up my whole reservation I had reservations for two rooms and once I arrived they said I didn’t with no where to go I was forced literally to get another room for a different rate they charged my card like ten different times which put me in a very difficult spot had to use other people Uber accounts that’s how bad it was the general manager was pleasant and tried fixing it but it didn’t fix my whole situation which then turned into a chain reaction of problems for me to overdrafts late payments on other things Uber was out of the question location was very inconvenient but like I said it was then a chain reaction. I’m still trying to deal with It was so bad I had a panic attack once I was in the room. Will never book again and like I said the staff besides the GM were all so very rude and not accommodating at all basically telling me don’t know what to say i don’t see your booking when I clearly had the reservation confirmation that they charged me a week before I even came to stay . Again never will book here again

My fiancé and I stayed at the cambria over the Fourth of July and it was a nice hotel, they advertised a beach view and you cannot see the beach from the hotel. The room was spacey and clean but your room does not cleaned unless you specifically ask for it, I’m assuming at a cost. You have to pay $42 a day in parking which was not stated before we arrived. Breakfast was good!

For my 4yr olds first spring break it was awesome. Clean quiet. My favorite part was walking in the halls whatever fragrance they used to keep always fresh was top tier. Restaurant in the lobby, amazing. Both bartenders amazing!! Great experience

The floors were so dirty. We asked them to come and clean the 3rd day they said they couldn’t anymore they had to come back the next day. The next day we called stopped by the desk and reminded them. Close to 2pm we stopped again and said you cleaned right and the man mgr said no it’s too late they will be leaving soon. We were so mad and he said we didn’t remind him on time are you kidding.

I was pleasantly surprised by the property. Very modern and the rooms were spacious. They had happy hour every evening but we did not get a chance to attend because of other activities we’d already booked. Staff members were extremely friendly. There beach is right across the street. However, there’s not much else within walking distance. But shops, restaurants and stores are within 10 minutes by Uber or car. The key card must be entered for the lights to come on. The only negative is that there was so much chlorine in the hot tub, it bleached mine and my best friend’s swimsuits. Completely ruined. Other than it was a great stay.

The air conditioner in the room is extremely loud.
The layout of the room was strange. For example, there is no chair or seating arrangement on the rooftop. The bed is facing the rooftop, but the TV is to the right of the bed. There was one plug for my charger that didn’t work.
There were no shops in this hotel. Only one brunch spot. Unfortunately, my husband and I both had hair in our food and the service took forever.
There is an advertisement that says Mariela’s Rooftop but there was no rooftop bar. It looked shut down.

Liked the staff. Didn't like that there was no housekeeping during the week. Also, only place to park was with valet $40/ day. I didn't see that on expedia, but seems pretty common for most places. Overall, would start there again.

Great Stay!
Overall our stay was great! 4 stars only because of the required $40/day valet parking. Might as well just absorb it into the hotel price per night when advertised. I was aware of it before arriving, but still think its a little steep. Staff was very welcoming & very friendly. Gave great tips and recommendations.
Proximity was perfect. Quiet & close to the beach. Clean area of town. Breakfast was good & waitress was wonderful.
Pictures attached- view from 4th floor elevator towards beach. Pina colada & patty from local food truck that visited beach. Highly recommend!

The room was dirty. Shower was broken, hair everywhere in the bed and leftover food residue on the table next to the bed. When I asked for another room the front desk guy informed me that they were booked for the night. I said no problem, I’ll book another hotel but would like to see if I’m able to get a refund for the rest of the nights I paid for, I’d pay for the first night because I understand booking policies. He told me give him 15min to talk to his manager about a refund. I began booking another hotel. The front desk guy came to my room with a new room key, miraculously he found another room for me…but I had already booked another hotel. When I got downstairs to speak with the manager, I explained everything. He said they weren’t sold out and asked why as I informed that they were. Front desk guy lied and said he never told me that. Manager was upset that I had chosen to leave but I had traveled hours and was ready to rest and could not do so in a dirty room and wasn’t taking chances when I was informed they were booked and couldn’t change my room. He gave me a full refund but I will not return for future stays in Ft. Lauderdale.

Although our stay was only one night, we had wished we stayed longer; the staff was friendly and made our check in/out fast and efficient, our hotel room and the overall hotel was very clean, and felt safe during our stay. Would stay again!

Hotel was convenient to the beach and was perfect for what needed. The best thing is I have been fighting back pain for a year and even bought a new bed but after 5 nights at the Cambria my back did not hurt at all after waking up. I get back back home
And my back hurts. I need to know what kind of pillows and mattress you use.

Cambria is a beautiful hotel. The staff was accommodating when I needed my room changed. Some foods were out of stock in the kitchen but overall the hotel was perfect for a weekend getaway.

We disagree since the moment checking in at the front desk the lady was so confused and make us wait for no reason, never been treaties with such low energy then charge us for cup of America coffee in the morning was very inappropriate.

Front desk Hector was rude and unkind. Floors at the room were sticky. They charge for regular coffee with creamer $4.25 the most expensive regular coffee i have had. Same coffee is offered in hotels complementary. Everything else was good. The bartender, valet parking lady super nice and attentive. Very modern hotel and at a convenient location. 10-15 min from las olas. Beach right across the street.

Greeted at the check-in desk with a friendly face after having just left a horrible hotel a mile down the block. Very clean and elegant hotel. Our rooms were perfect. We definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Fort Lauderdale.

My partner and i booked our anniversary trip here - upon arrival there was an open condom wrapper on the ground in our room, had a smell, and hair in the shower drain and overall the room was not up to standard as far as cleanliness you expect in a hotel period. I went to the desk and he gave us a new room. When we got to the 2nd room the floors were sticky & gross- they made a squeak sound when we walked around and the room was muggy and the AC wouldn’t go past 73 so i called and they said they’d fix- when front desk called me back she lied to me and said that’s as low as it gets and i can go see for myself that maintenance fixed it ( even though i knew that’s a lie because the last room was way cooler) i went to desk and asked for a manager to tell them that this hasn’t been great and she assured us to call the other manager in the morning because he was dealing with other things - not super thrilled after our discussion we went back to our room & maintenance was there in our room unannounced and made us feel stupid about their issue. He said our heat was on and he had to manually fix it himself but kept saying it’s our fault touching all the buttons. He said “it’s Florida don’t you want it hot” Thankfully it was fixed after but just extremely strange to lie. Also the pool gets 0 sun and the hot tub is room temperature. Overall - i would never come back here and would never recommend anybody to stay here. The standard here is low and it’s barely cheaper than other hotels

We stayed 9 nights at the hotel. The hotel is fairly new and clean and the people working there are pretty nice for the most part.
We had trouble 2 nights and as a result we could not sleep well because of these 2 events. We first spoke with the Manager Eric who offered us a complimentary breakfast and 2 nights of free parking. He promised to have the music turned down every night and honor the parking cost as advertised on website. The valet parking is the only choice and is VERY expensive.
After the second night issue when the police was banging on door of guest across our room at 4:00am, we spoke to the General Manager Mr. Tom Snell who apologized but did not provide any compensation.
We were supposed to get a refund for an overcharge but we did not get it.
The hotel needs help as far as service as it is very inconsistent. We had to call every night for turning down/off the music and for room service, even after Eric gave instructions for our room to be serviced daily.
On the positive side, the hotel is well placed with a small walk to the beach. However you will need a car to go to restaurants around.
Overall, we would recommend the hotel and hope that the new Manager Mr. Snell will correct these issues and honor the refund promised to customers.

Our flight got cancelled due to bad weather in Florida and there were no flights going out later that day. I called the hotel to cancel due to not having a way to get there since they cancelled our flight literally a hour before scheduled take off. It was storming bad there apparently all week so we couldn’t find an available flight. They told me I couldn’t get anything refunded because of their 72 hour cancellation policy. No one was trying to help at all just kept saying there is nothing they can do. So I lost $430ish dollars.

Dining area was not cleaned daily. Floor was filthy with food droppings. Wait staff inattentive. There were staff members dining same day as myself. Wait staff ignore me to service them. We were the only people there. That was unacceptable for a paying guest to watch staff cater to hotel employees and ignore a paying guest. Valet service was not helpful. I would rather self park than deal with that and pay the high daily parking for staying at the hotel.

I would of given the place 5 stars but I requested to have my room clean on one day sine i had got back from the beach and there was sand all over the floor. No one ever came I ended up cleaning my own floor! Meanwhile I opted for no house cleaning since it was a short stay, except for that day!

Room was nice but kind of small and staff was nice. I was really disappointed about the pool area and how far it was away from the main strip. Pool area could do some remodeling especially the couches, they looked dirty and unkept. We had to take a Uber to get to where everything was which wasn’t too far but definitely not in walking distance. Overall decent hotel with potential.

We like the beach was one block away and not crowded. The room had comfortable queen beds. A cot was brought up for my granddaughter to sleep on. You had to pay for valet parking but you can come and go. The pool needed vacuuming from the sand people bring in from the beach. The couches and pool area were comfortable but needed cleaning also there were no covers on top of the canopies. Staff are all awesome and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Room wasn't ready at 4pm for check-in. This wasn't communicated very well and only a brief, single-sentence apology was offered. Otherwise, the staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
The hotel itself is fine; pretty good for the price point. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything you'd like. The water pressure in the shower was poor, though, which made cleaning off after the beach particularly challenging.
The area outside the hotel feels safe, and access to the beach is very good. It is, however, almost in 'no man's land' between Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and the Las Olas Beach area, so be prepared to get lots of Ubers to visit bars and restaurants.

The Cambria was just wonderful, new and clean. Our double queen room was quite large and a nice surprise. The balcony is only one you can stand on, it is small. The pool was great, the bar staff, Josephina was amazing! We would stay here again.

The accommodations were great and staff was very professional. The one issue I didn’t like was you are pretty munch forced to use their valet parking 39.99 daily if you have a car. The only other option would be street parking which could be a far walk.

Monique, Eric, and Lucy were some of the best bartenders I have ever had bar none!! They talked to us like we were people and not customers. These 3 made our vacation so memorable. Monique you are one of the best human beings I have ever met. Eric and Lucy you both were hilarious and we both loved you! Front desk people were amazing. Rhonda and Mo were the sweetest! So much love and compassion came from you both. You both made sure we were well taken care of and when my husband talked to Mo about us leaving because our vacation was done and got teary eyed because being from Wisconsin we just want to be down there, Mo started tearing up as well and gave myself and my husband a big hug. You have no idea how much you both mean to us and how you made our vacation so special. Even the night auditor Tabitha, you were so incredibly sweet to us, even though we may have had a couple cocktails. You laughed with us and just made us feel like you were a friend of ours. The staff at Cambria Fort Lauderdale Beach is amazing. The property is just beautiful. We have come to Fort Lauderdale many times and stay at a different place each time, and no one made us feel so special and wanted as guests. Thank you to everyone and we will be back for sure!

I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.
The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of keeping everything spotless throughout my stay.
I also enjoyed the hotel’s facilities, particularly the staff from manager and Monique at the bar area she’s incredibly friendly and a hard worker ,The dining options were top-notch, with a delicious breakfast that had a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes.
The location of the hotel was perfect, providing easy access nearby beach areas of interest]. This made exploring the area very convenient.
Overall, my stay exceeded all my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a memorable experience. I look forward to returning on my next visit to Ft Lauderdale.

Our AC unit did NOT work. They came around and took temp of my room and it read at 75 degrees but said since we only had one more night that we “should be fine. Whats one more night?” Checking in, I don’t think we could have had anyone with less patience. It was overall a horrible experience and I would recommend paying $50-$100 a night to stay somewhere else.

Nice hotel in a central location. Decent beach a block away or 5 minutes to the FT Lauderdale scene. Really liked this hotel, but you have to request housekeeping which we did twice without any response. Likely a disconnect between he front desk and housekeeping team, but our room was only cleaned twice in 10 days.

The Cambria hotel is excellent. Our room was clean and cozy, the staff were helpful and friendly, the pool and deck area were great, and being able to rent a buggy that included two beach chairs and a large fold up sun shade was perfect. I can’t recommend staying here enough!

Great location for quick access to the beach. Property was clean as were our room.
Most of the staff we're very friendly and accommodating. We had a great conversation with the bartender and chef. They had not received a delivery so they whipped up an off menu item just for my daughter which she loved.
Not many shops or restaurants are a walkable distance away. You'll need a car or Uber to explore. Traffic can get a little crazy, so plan ahead.
