Nice place but not close to anything. Rooms are set up weird. Limited restaurant. Pool area not very nice. If you want to stay somewhere quiet then this is the place. But you have to Uber or taxi it everywhere.

Front desk staff was great. Once we got into our room someone used a key and walked in with drinks.. they did not work there. The staff immediately gave us a change of keys. The bed sheets were pretty gross& full of hair. Breakfast was good but the staff was passive aggressively fighting over tables and it was awkward. I came for a weekend girls trip & had the best time despite the weirdness at the hotel. The beach is close & everything else is a short Uber ride.

The staff is so kind and thoughtful. The room was crazy. Very difficult to watch tv. The sofa was under the tv. Impossible to watch from that location also. Lots of open space, not sure if room was missing chairs or something.
Pool was disgusting. Very dirty tile around pool. Furniture worn and filthy.

I did like that toiletries are included…we always carry on and buy shampoo etc at the drugstore….in this case we didn’t have to.
We asked for an early check in. I know it’s not guaranteed but the best they were able to accommodate was 330pm.
Asked the cleaning lady for extra towels and she was not able to provide them to me. She told me to call down and ask for them and someone would bring them to me.
If it’s not my job I’m not doing it mentality.

Never again will I stay at a Cambria
Terrible customer service. Had to be moved from first room due to backed up shower. Sewage system always made toilet water look as if urine was in it. Location was cool.

Location was not ideal if you did not have a car. Housekeeping and beach towels were limited. They indicated housekeeping was available on request but that did not always happen even when requested. Staff was extremely friendly and kind. Rooms were modern and clean.

Overall, the stay was good. The pool area was lovely and I spent much time there - enough to notice it wasn’t cleaned or tidied on the daily. I requested my room to be cleaned on my third day - it didn’t happen until after 9pm on the last night of my stay (out of 5). Dining option was fine - staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The number one thing was staff and service. The front desk lady with the piercings was terrible. She was not welcoming when we came in to check in. My friends and I traveled to Fort Lauderdale for my 30th birthday and service was just not welcoming. She had an attitude every time we spoke to her. Never smiled. It was uncomfortable for us to even go up to her because she was that horrible with an attitude. We tried to do late check out on Sunday but we couldn’t do late check out (only until 1pm) because they were booked. Even though we checked the website and there were plenty of rooms to select from that day. So that sounded like a lie and didn’t want to accommodate us.
It took FOREVER to get pool towels. We had to wait 20 mins just to get towels. Please get more towels…
Also, if you’re trying to be in the mix with all the restaurants/bars/cafe, you have to Uber everywhere. You’ll be fine with a car. Beach was nice because it was all residential.

The hotel is updated and beautiful. There isn’t much of anything in walking distance, but the beach is right across the street. It’s only about 3 miles to restaurants and shops, so that isn’t too bad. Parking was very expensive. $39/day, valet only. There is a bar, but it doesn’t seem to be open very often, although they do have happy hour every 4-7pm. They say there’s a restaurant, but I think it’s just in the lobby, and limited hours. During our stay, I rarely saw anyone there, except during breakfast hours. The room are very nice, comfortable, quiet. Housekeeping only comes if you request it before 10am. I put a late request in one day just to get some new towels and have someone sweep the floor in our room, because it was so sandy and no fun to walk on. I asked twice, both times I was told they were sending someone right up to sweep, but no one ever came. I wiped up the floor myself. So, housekeeping service isn’t excellent. When we arrived, we had no shampoo, almost no body wash, no hand soap. Not a huge issue, more just minor annoyances. And they say they have complimentary towels at the pool, but there were only towels down there once during our visit. It seems like they may be short staffed. Otherwise it was a nice hotel, people were friendly. The parking cost and the housekeeping issues might lead me to try someplace new next time, though.

The property is new and clean BUT….Check in was horrible!! I booked a room with ocean view but got the other side with a parking lot view. Pool area was small and FORGET about any sun. Totally shaded for most of day because of other buildings. I travel a lot and this hotel wouldn’t ever be my choice again.

The cambia hotel is very nice and clean. Staff are very friendly. The restaurant downstairs is pretty good and convenient. The beach is literally across the street which is great. The only downside to staying here is not too many other dining options that are close. There are a few restaurants on the beach but that's it. This hotel is great if you have a car rental or had.your car

Loved the room and balcony. I had to find the hotel on my own, ask about happy hour, and the sky deck was not finished during my stay. I chose the hotel because of the location to the beach and what I thought was shopping and dining. Still had to rideshare to all of the places.

This place nickles and dimes for everything while having less than the bare minimum. You would be better off going to a Marriott. The bar charges nearly 40$ for two drinks because it only has top shelf liquor. The rooms have no water and the water bottles available are 5$ each. The breakfast in the lobby without alcoholic beverages was 60$ for 2 people. The hotel claims to be right in the heart of everything including the beach and las olas but we walked 30 minutes to a gas station and needed 20 minute Ubers to las olas blvd. The nicest part of this hotel was the lobby.

Pros: Rooms are very spacious and clean. The beach is walking distance from the hotel.
Cons: Front desk hotel staff is not welcoming. Upon check-in no information about the hotel was provided. They must’ve thought me and my two friends were spring breakers and we definitely were not. Upon check-out staff didn’t even ask how my stay was.
Bedroom AC kept turning off. Breakfast is not “included” as it’s being promoted.

Check in was a disaster.. Room took 3 hours to get ready, room was dirty, (windows, floors, shower) they overcharged me, and they very were unapologetic. Room was NEVER cleaned even when I requested in a timely Fashion. I requested towels, NEVER received them! Hotel is severely understaffed, which causes Horrible Service!

Far from main beach area- staff was rude- we had landed at 9 and were told we could get an early check in- we watched the hotel check in multiple guests before us- when we were finally given a room at 5pm an hour after check in…. The air was broken in our room- maintenance came the next day at 10am when we returned around 6 that evening maintenance was still in our room with no fix and unit torn apart- the valet crew was very nice but the front desk provided no solutions and nothing but sas- I would run from this hotel- never again

Great Location & Stay
I recently had the pleasure of staying at CAMBRiA Fort Lauderdale Beach hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location, just a short stroll from the beach, was ideal for our family, especially with a toddler in tow. The modern amenities and design of the property made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and plan on staying at CAMBRiA again during future trips to Fort Lauderdale.

Nice looking property from the outside, crisp looking interior and spacious rooms all a plus. But there were stains on the curtains, the surfaces felt a little and in the bathroom there was a half-empty bottle of facial cleanser on the sink when I arrived. Shower was okay but low pressure. And exhaust fan very noisy and could not be turned off - loud all night long. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable and linens very thin and rough. Room in the front was very noisy - street traffic and early morning buses. Parking was $39/day which is high relative to price point of rooms. Bar and restaurant looked okay but not very inviting - stark lighting in middle of large lobby. I didn’t use the pool or other facilities. Could use some design improvements, better quality linens and bath products. Overall just average.

The hotel was very new and clean. Early check-in was requested, staff told me it wasn’t available. Regular check in was at 4pm, our room wasn’t ready until 5pm. When I continued to ask when the room would be ready, they kept pushing the time back. Valet parking was great, but $40 a night adds up and there is nowhere else to park. The area is conveniently located by the beach and good clubs are located 15 minutes away. It is also very quiet and the beds/rooms were great.

It was a nice location with access to the beach across the street. They also had bikes you could rent and access to the busline. It is an uber ride away from Fort Lauderdale by the Sea and also Los Alos Blvd where all the excitement is for spring break.
Showers could have been a little cleaner, but everyone was nice. The food at the restaurant was very good.

Staff is very kind.
This hotel does not offer room cleaning, you are to request a room cleaning daily before 10am at the lobby. I requested a room clean daily and never got one, they once showed up at 6pm when I was already in my room getting ready for the night. They also state that the room cleaning is a "light room clean" which I'm unsure of what it means. My room was sandy the entire trip since no one cleaned it. Towels were piled up on the floor since they gave me new towels when I requested but didn't take the old ones.
In the room is a mini fridge, there are no waters or soft drinks provided. There is no safe in the room.
Location is perfect, right next to the beach. Lobby is great and provides games and boards to play with.
They do not provide sun lounging chairs. The chairs provided are Tommy Bahama sitting chairs that are rented out daily for $10 American per chair.

Beautiful hotel inside the lobby and very easy process with valet parking. Room is nicely laid out with a Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom.
My room had very low shower pressure and the water was not very hot. Although it was clean, the toiletries were not properly replenished. We did not have bath soap in the shower (the wall container was empty), and we had to call for washcloths. There was only a bar of face soap, no hand soap. The bathroom door closed but it did not shut completely or lock as the mechanism seemed to be off (it’s a sliding glass door). However, there was still privacy because it slid all the way to the latch.

Bar staff & food amazing!!!! Then;
1. Option for the 25.00 early check in, don't bother. It's literally not available and the front office manager will recite the reasons to you like a unfeeling machine.
2. We had to get 7 different room keys in the first 2 days. No, we didn't have them by cell phones or credit cards as we know how it can affect them..
3. Went out to dinner first night after finally getting into room, and shower. Upon our return , our key didn't work because they never fully checked us in!! And the agent at desk said yeah I have someone other than you due to stay in that room... Sorry that's a huge problem.
4. The pool area is literally a danger zone. They have no one monitoring it, cleaning it or even walking thru it periodically. The SLATE tileing around the pool is very slippery when it's wet along with the stairs to exit pool area. I fell while holding railing and almost hit my head on stairs. We witnessed a gentleman and a child both slip while just trying to walk to their seats. Absolute danger. Also at the pool, you must use key card to gain access to pool, that's fine, but you have to use key to exit pool, that's not good. If your key stops working, you literally can't get out. That's an fire risk.
5. Don't bother trying to obtain any assistance from the front office manager, she is rude and unhelpful, apparently to staff as well as she was verbally and loudly reprimanding an employee with her office door open, for all others to hear. Super bad.

Upon arrival we had been sent a text to check in early but when we got there we were told we couldn’t. Ok, whatever. So we put our bags in storage and decided to hang out by the pool, which truly was the best part about this hotel. When we received a text that our room was ready, we were given our keys and to our surprise when we used the keys to get into “our room” it was actually someone else’s room with all of their belongings. To say we were appalled and nervous about this happening to us is probably an understatement. The staff was rude, did not care to fix our issue and never once smiled. It wasn’t until we escalated it to the manager that we even somewhat felt heard. We have been promised to be comped a nights stay so we will see if that happened. 10/10 would not recommend this hotel.

The property is in a really nice and convenient location for all Ft. Lauderdale beach has to offer. Our shower had very little pressure and the toilet seat was broken and did not go up and down. You had to request the room to be serviced which would sometimes happen and sometimes not. I also had multiple service people walk into our room unannounced without knocking surprising us. There were rarely towels available at the pool and requests were generally met with an attitude from staff that you were bothering them rather than them wanting to help.

When I booked I booked a room that had ocean dry balcony.....Didn't receive that at all. I told them at the front desk and they said that must be an old website so you should probably update it. I was also told there was shops right around the building and there was a two and a half mile walk to get to any shops.

So many problems. Spent 3 days trying to get my room cleaned. Room Keys stopped working everyday. None of the soaps in the shower were filled from the time we arrived to the time we left even though we finally got them to clean our room once. Got put in the wrong room and no one cared. Would not stay again. Shoutout to the waitress/bartender, she is fantastic and the best part of the hotel. Close to the beach. Pool is nice.

Couldn't find parking or an easy access to hotel entrance, seems like the only way to park was you had to get vallet parking. Service wasn't great. Restaurant wasn't open so we had to eat at the bar (which was located right in the hotel lobby/entrance). Location was good, close to the beach. Room was clean.

Shower water was at most warm, definitely never hot. Disappointing. When we went to check out, the woman at the front desk said they could not process our check out and give us a copy of the invoice because she was doing an audit at 5 o’clock in the morning that was gonna take 45 minutes. When I pressed a little harder, she went to a different computer and ran the bill off just fine. Very confusing place.

The property was convenient to the beach. The upper deck for views and relaxing was closed for repairs. We arrived at 1:30 and asked about early checkin. Our telephone number was taken to let us know when it was ready. We were never called but were allowed to check in, after waiting in the lobby, at 4:00. At 6:00 we walked through a full lobby of people still waiting for their rooms. At 7:00 they were still cleaning rooms on our floor. Nice hotel but definitely needs more staff.

We have stayed at Cambria before which is why we selected this one. Strike 1 was the week we were all scheduled to leave we started getting notifications that the first nights stay was being drafted which was fine but that should be listed on the web booking sites as a requirement not under reserve now pay on arrival! There were 5 rooms of us for Christmas vacation and we all arrived at different times. The early arrivals were treated very well by the front desk clerk but the ones that arrived later is a different story with a different desk clerk. My daughter and another customer were trying to check in their rooms as it was after 4:00 pm (check in time) and she simply asked if her room was ready and the clerk rudely said you need to chill. His attitude was bad enough that the other customer asked him what exactly they needed to chill about for simply wanting to complete their check in and go to their rooms from traveling. That was strike 2! We were there for 6 days 5 nights. Strike 3 was when all rooms were charged the $150 security deposit TWICE and was told there was a glitch in the system and the $300 hold should fall off after 5 days! Unacceptable! I personally left a couple of messages for the manager who was very nice when you saw her working with housekeeping or filling in where she needed to but never gave the courtesy of a return call! This location obviously needs additional staff! Josie at the restaurant/bar is the jewel of the hotel! Pay her well!

This property is just one street over from the beach. If you go all the way to the roof you can see an ocean view. I think this hotel was really clean and updated, there were just minor things that could have been improved. It was a great trip and stay here overall!

Upon arrival it was good. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The hotel did not supply adequate replinishing of towels and wash cloths. When asked for more, we had to wait for laundry to be done and then had to go to the front counter and pick them up ourselves. Valet at times only had one person working and there was no self parking. We would request the car and the valet attendant asking us did we request the car. The service received did not equate to the amount of money paid for the stay. We only received two towels per day after stating we needed 4 towels and wash cloths. We should never had to go pick up towels and wash cloths ourselves from the front desk.
