The room itself was ok. The hallways were gross. Wallpaper peeling off the walls, carpet stained, elevator dirty. In much need of renovations and upkeep. Staff were lovely and grounds were just fine.

Low pet fees! However, the inside is a dump. Horrible beds. The outside/landscaping is nice.
Pretty quiet because not many people were staying there (it is truly uncared for).

We were told ahead of our visit that we would have hypoallergenic bedding. Our room had all feather pillows and there were feathers on the bed. We were told there were no hypoallergenic pillows available. We had to go to another hotel.

Terrible terrible terrible
Upkeep of property was POOR ! Wallpaper coming off wall. 1st room smelled like pets , asked to change. 2nd room was musty . Traveled for a funeral from largo and was too tired to deal with cancelling and looking somewhere and fight for refund of booking . Was charged 100 for incidental, for what? Even if I did damage it wouldn’t get repaired considering the overall appearance of entire property, I.e hallways, parking lots , room walls , bathroom cleaning . Terrible .

Filthy, person at reception was great, by himself and over worked, I had to wipe down the room, room stunk, really too bad, had been a nice place once, people were taking pics in the halls and stairwells because it was so dirty, we moved after 1 night.

The first floor was not as awful as the second floor but the second floor hallway, carpet and walls, made the place look like it had been neglected for many years. There are stains on the rugs, stains on the lower walls and the wallpaper is literally hanging off in sheets. We received room service once during our 4 night stay and my employees room service did not include providing her with toilet paper despite the room having none. The front desk staff was very nice and very helpful but I will not be staying at this poorly kept property again.

You feel dirty just walking into the room. Stained floors, peeling wallpaper, rough sheets and towels. Friendly staff at least. But I’ll never stay at a La Quinta again.

A sad and not kept up hotel.
Was disappointed in the hotel. The wall paper is peeling off the walls, the carpet was filthy and just overall not taken care of. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We stayed on the 6th flr and there is black mold over the window by the elevator. So happy to only have to be there for one quick night.

Avoid this La Quinta
This hotel was very dated. It desperately needed to be painted and cared after. The most noticeable thing was the very poor condition of the carpet. The carpet in both the room and hallways was in very poor shape with multiple stains. The box spring in the room was visibly stained all the way around. The room smelled musty. There was rust in the tub. The water pressure was very low. I would not recommend staying at this hotel

Hotel was okay. The king size bed we had was not comfortable. It felt very "used". The side of the bed hurt our legs when we got out since it had a hard edge around the actual matress.

Hotel is in a great location Good, walkable restaurants. Staff is very efficient and friendly.
Your hotel desperately needs a face lift. We were on the third floor. The room was nice but the hallways need to completely redone. Hanging wallpaper…not good to look at.

Hall way carpets were filthy and carpet in their room very nasty. Black mold around the edges. Wallpaper falling off the walls in the hallway. The owner needs to step up and make some changes. Get rid of that nasty carpet and put in something that can be cleaned. Housekeeping and front desk staff were wonderful.

Dated and needs a face lift, but friendly staff
The staff was super friendly and prompt with responses. The hotel could use a face lift though. Lots of little things that dates this hotel. Carpet, doors, AC units and fitness equipment all need updated. The pillows are probably 5 years old. TV remote didn't work and interior doors don't close correctly. We stayed at this hotel based on proximity to our event and a previous stay at another LaQuinta. This hotel is no where near as nice as the other LaQuinta we stayed in.
We would not stay here again.

The Staff was great checking in and checking out - super nice. The lady who takes care of the second floor is a very sweet lady!!!!
My only dislike was the carpets and the A/C smelled of cigarettes...maybe they need to clean their filters since this is a non-smoking facility. But other than that - it was PERFECT!!! We have stayed there 2 times once before covid and now after covid and both times have been great!!!! And a great area outside by Lowes to let you pups get in a little walk on leash in the grassy area - 2 thumbs up!!

Hotel was being used as temporary housing. Dirty, and in dire need of repairs. Requested a refund after checking in but night clerk said since it was booked through Expedia and prepaid he didn’t know how to complete a refund. Expedia is working on a refund for me. I recommend Expedia remove this hotel from the Ocala options.

It is in a nice area close to shopping and restaurants, yet tucked away a little so it is very quiet. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and competent. Rooms were spacious, well kept, very clean and comfortable. The pool facilities were well maintained. Definitely take advantage of the hot tub. I really liked the entire patio area, it was very relaxing. However the landscaping was a bit unruly. The rose bushes in the garden and also leading into the back door of the building were way overgrown and protruding into the sidewalk area a little so you had to watch out for thorns. A little disappointed though. I left a 60 dollar phone charger plugged into the wall next to the bed and called a few hours after we checked out and the maid claimed it wasn't in the room, so either they didn't vacuum that entire side of the room or it magically disappeared. A bit petty to complain about but it was inconvenient to have to buy another one. Finders keepers, I guess. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel room had a stale musty odor. Wall paper was peeling off the walls along the entire 3rd floor. There were also stains all over the carpet. Rooms was in generally good condition besides the smell.

The hotel is dated. The breakfast is nice and hot. The beds are very firm so please be prepared. Its not super uncomfortable but when you get up, your body will remind you that you slept on a firm mattress!

The front desk guy was rude and the place is a disaster I pay almost 400 dollars for one night and didn’t have no privacy because the windows curtains were torn and didn’t close if I was on second floor I would have mine but I was on first floor and the smell of the carpet I couldn’t motel 6 would have been better

We had an accessible room with roll-in shower which was very nice. Room was comfortable but trucks outside ran most of the night. Breakfast was abysmal, eggs were tasteless and like rubber. Oversized bread didn’t fit in toaster.

Nice last minute stay

My wife and I stayed at the LaQuinta in Ocala Florida for a business trip. The hotel is old and needs a lot of maintenance. The outside needs pressure cleaning and paint, the wallpaper in the hallways is peeling off and the floors need new carpeting. The outside spa ran continuously and was not hot, had cardboard floating in water. Breakfast was just okay, same food everyday, scrambled eggs and sausage, no bacon. Other than that, front desk people and employees were great to work with

The property was in decent shape. The hallway carpet was very dirty. There were multiple people who were working in the area staying in one room. There was way too much noise throughout the night coming from other rooms. A maid entered my room without knocking first.

My only complaint was my room was near the back door and I heard the door slamming shut behind people coming and going for hours. Oh and my bed mattress needs to be changed as it has a huge hole like a heavy person slept on it for many years.

Run away! If you like clean hotels, this is not it
The pictures on the listing look nothing like the actual rooms. First off, the lobby was dark and dingy. The clerk seemed bothered when I approached the front desk. The elevator was very old, dirty and looked like it was going to breakdown at any moment. The elevator was also like an oven, it was so hot. When the elevator opened to my floor, the AC was not functioning in the hallway, it was also scorching hot, smelled bad, and looked dirty. The room was dirty, paint chipping everywhere, the corners of the bathroom floors were stained and dirty. The bathtub was disgusting, so I skipped taking a shower in fear of getting foot fungus or worse The room was cold and damp. The thermostat had no way to control it. The display was broken and the buttons did nothing. The pillows were clumpy. The room was old and smelled like old cigarettes. I had the worst night. Couldn't even sleep. You could tell this place has been super neglected. Never will I stay here again. False advertising if you ask me. Run away and never look back.

Would Stay There Again
Super clean and very friendly staff. It was a little dated but still very clean, mattress not super comfortable, but I did sleep on it. Pool area nice and clean. Would stay there again. Desk clerk said they are getting ready to renovate entire hotel, so it will be updated in the future.

Nice hotel. I left hanger on door to clean room. No one came. Was there for 2 nights. Every thing else was fine. Close to restaurants and shops. Complimentary breakfast was juice, coffee eggs sausage yogurt and bananas and muffins and toast.

Please don't waste your money, don't stay in this hotel, it's terrible, dirty, a lot of noise and the receptionist doesn't do anything, he says he can't shut up the guests who were yelling and having a party, until 5:00 a.m., the bathroom disgusting with toilet paper dirty next to the toilet, the wet floor was terrible because the refrigerator didn't work and water was leaking and the receptionist said that he had no cleaning staff and there was no other room available on the first floor either, terrible stay, we also found a cockroach in the room roof, don't waste your money, it's the worst hotel in the world

Come from out of state. Was so tired booked this hotel. And come to find out it's one of the worst stays I have ever been too. Terrible. I will never ever stay at this hotel again. I had people all night trying to come in my room. Like if the staff don't know what rooms they have. Ever again. So dissatisfied disappointed and still tired Worst place in Austin Texas.
