A wonderful surprise!
What a wonderful surprise! We booked this hotel because it was reasonable for FSU Family Weekend being about 30-40 minutes away. They obviously have put a lot of care into this place! The service at breakfast was extra friendly and attentive and they had a good selection. The courtyard was beautiful and peaceful. It made the ride out worth it!

We were here for work bc it was convenient. One of the worst Best Westerns we’ve stayed in, and definitively the worst for customer service in the Tallahassee are. Cleanliness is so so and the beds are eh, the BW Off of graves is Much better if you are in the area and comfort outweighs the location for crawfordsville.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Overall not bad, but many areas could be improved.
Negatives:
• The comfort of the beds - extremely basic, thin, firm mattresses. My leg actually fell asleep the first night from the pressure on my hips.
• Bedding - the blanket was rough/scratchy
• AC in the room - seemed like it was not able to get cold enough even though it was set to a low temp and ran constantly.
• Ability to have a late check out - fee of $25 for 1:00 pm check out, $50 for 2:00 pm check out.
• Pool - furniture was falling apart and stacked up in the corner, water did not appear to be well maintained.
Positives:
• Friendly staff
• Decent breakfast buffet
• Quiet/safe location
• Fitness center had lots of equipment/machines and they were in good condition

Great stay
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and our room was big. The breakfast was amazing. Eggs, sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits along with all the other continental breakfast items. The front desk staff were very nice and friendly. We will most definitely be back.

The location was great, not far from Alligator Point and St. George Island by car. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and faced the courtyard. The pool was a nice size and on the back side of the building. Very secure.

Good quality for reasonable price
Hotel was very good. They have remodeled since the last time I was there. Have vinyl plank floors instead of carpet. Nice, clean, and friendly staff. They called us when we checked out and accidentally left something behind.

The staff was wonderful. Felicia kept are room very clean with plenty of towels despite have a 9 and 13 year old messing things up. I saw the manager several times as he kept track of the property. Everyone was kind and helpful. They could use 1. local maps to give out and 2. a display of pamplets on what to do and see in the area. I will return again and bring my son, his wife and the rest of the grandchildren for a week. I love the people, the area and this hotel. The only thing that sucks is the drive to Florida.

Not our first time staying, but it was nice to see that the place has had a quiet a bit of TLC and looks fabulous! Staff as always are wonderful and kind. Will stay here again next time we are up that way.

I chose this property because it was a little further out from Tallahassee in a country setting. This property did not disappoint. Not only was the hotel beautifully designed the rooms were clean and the accommodations were wonderful. I most enjoyed the breakfast that was served in the mornings with the variety of drinks and I will be back!!!

It was a nice room and friendly staff. The bed was comfy, the AC worked great, hot water was hot, and I was able to watch Friends every night on a nice TV. lol Only issue was the bottom of the shower curtain was rather dirty, looked almost like mold. I wish they had changed that out before my stay. Other than that it was a really pleasant stay.

This property was clean and convenient. Our room was very dark and quiet which made for a great nights sleep. The floor in the room was vinyl which we LOVED! I hate the carpet in hotel rooms. The breakfast was convenient and the woman who was taking care of it was very friendly.
The area is very safe and clean. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Needs attention
I have stayed here before and decided to give it another try post renovation.
Maintenance: The rooms were nicely redone but maintenance is obviously not a priority. 2 light bulbs out in the bathroom, a very loud rattling air condition and some outlets don’t work.
Housekeeping: The coffee pot was unusable because they did not provide the disposable tray you needed to put the coffee pack in. There were 2 conditioners and no shampoo
Grounds Maintenance: The courtyard area is horrible. Tall weeds and overgrown/unkept plants along with a empty fountain with broken statues (fountain didn’t work a couple of years ago when I last stayed-why is it still even there?)

This location was very quiet and safe. We had a short half hour ride to Tallahassee for Parents Weekend and it was nice to be staying away from all of the FSU traffic. Will book here again next year.

the room had no tv remote so I attempted to call front desk and the phone didn’t work. I went downstairs and caught a maintenance guy and he promptly addressed the issues and was very professional. The room had peeling paint above shower and the electric outlets were so wore out are electric device cords would just fall out of them when plugged in. The tile in elevator was busted up. Overall it was ok but we won’t be back.

Hidden gem!
This place was so great! The room was newly renovated, and the area was peaceful and welcoming. From check in to check out, our stay was perfect. If you’re looking for a quiet Florida getaway not too far from beaches, this is it! The 30minute drive to the beach was beautiful and relaxing.

The room looked as if they were remodeling but hadn’t finished. Drapes were off track,shower head wouldn’t stay in place(handicap room) of which we are not handicapped. The hot breakfast was a complete joke ! Your basically in the middle of no where,we were counting on breakfast like most BW no breakfast except little cereal and a biscuit that someone made with egg and sausage wrapped in foil. Prepackaged muffins peanut butter yogurt we were very dissatisfied of a BW serving this!

Never stay there if you can help it!
Hotel was remodeling! Room was not cleaned for our second day night stay. We were not told at time of checkin. Second floor room above was very noisy at night and people outside our room up all night talking. Had to ask for breakfast items. They were behind front desk because of remodeling.
