The property was being renovated. Wasn't the cleanest property. Bathroom could've been cleaner. Sink drained very slow. The room floor had several soft spots. Smelled stuffy.

This hotel has a hot tub which we really enjoyed! Quiet and relaxing!
Breakfast was so good! Huge layout with scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, raisin bread, oatmeal with all the toppings, cools juices and delicious hot coffee with all the creamers!

This hotel was under construction for our stay. While I can understand that, there is no reason why it smelled like a wet area that has not been cleaned and we had mold in our room.

My husband and I liked that this hotel was relatively close to everything we wanted to do in Jacksonville (only about a 12-15 minute drive from everywhere we wanted to go). The breakfast was nice and well-stocked, and the renovations were not a problem. The only issue that we encountered was that the shower curtain was too short, so we had to put both of them inside of the tub during a shower. Otherwise, we'd recommend this hotel again for a comfortable stay in Jacksonville.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. The place was under renovation during our stay so there were a few creepy crawlies maybe because of it. The base board in the room was loose and dangling. Since the price was reasonable we didn't think those small issues were a big deal. We needed to do laundry but we couldn't because the machines were coin operated and the front desk didn't have any quarters. That was surprising, and very inconvenient. Breakfast was pretty good. I think after the remodeling it will be very nice.

The A/C in my room was stuck on in a very cold setting. Maintenance never showed up to fix it so I had to request another room. They switched me to the worst room in the place next to the ice maker and elevator even though it was not crowded. Also, construction taking place in hotel now (Aug 2023) so beware.

Renovating rooms
Not a bad experience but be aware they are renovating the rooms. Our bathroom didnāt have enough light as the lights over the mirror were removed.

Prior notification would have been nice
No sink lights in bathroom, bathroom door would not shut and entry door was very hard to open after locking. Re-modeling going on but should have been notified before booking and paying for room:(

The hotel was clean, elevator smelled of weed, worker tells us while inloading not to park on this side because there have been several vehicles windows broken, so for 2 nights didnt sleep well worried about my vehicle.

Great hotel at an affordable price
This hotel was nice. Some of the fixtures were a little bit dated and worn in our room but the hotel is undergoing rennovations so that wont be a problem much longer. The room was extremly clean and the person at the front desk was welcoming and pleasant. Breakfast was actually very good for a free hotel breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Great hotel. The only thing thatās keeps me from giving 5 stars is that they didnāt have the room we booked. They booked all of the double queen rooms even though I had booked 2 months ahead. They gave us a couple free sodas but would have liked the room we booked. The rest was great though.

Wonderful place to stay

Light above bathroom sink was taken out making bathroom too dark to get ready. Entire area of room very small. Kids still out in pool playing after 10 pm making it too noisy to sleep. Staff was not ok, not very friendly & accommodating for extras like towels and napkins. Then tried to charge us for items in their market pantry we didnāt even get which means someone else tried charging things to our room.

Not the friendliest staff. Checking in was a mess and took far longer than it should had they hadnāt even put the rooms cleaned and available into the system yet which led to a long wait time for check in. Room was not very clean or nice but not the worst Iāve seen. The location and area are nice but had motorcycles in the parking lot making noise all night long.

Great hotel.
I love this hotel. This is the cleanest hotel we have stayed at in Jacksonville for my visits to Mayo clinic. The staff are very dry and helpful. The food is good and very comfortable beds and pillows. This is my only hotel that I am going to stay at. Booking another stay for the 29 the. Keep up the good work.

Property was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Overall hotel was ok.
Disappointed in the breakfast. Waffle mix tasted sour and eggs were mushy and over cooked. Also, hallway wreaked of marijuana although hotel is non- smoking. But that seems to be the case at most hotels today.

Had a reservation confirmed and paid for and when went to check in they said they had no reservation or rooms. It was pouring rain at 8:30 at night and had to find another hotel.

When my son and I checked into our hotel on a Sun after a full day of traveling (15 hrs) then going straight to a funeral home from the airport, we got to our room and IT WAS ALREADY OCCUPIED! I couldn't believe it, especially after all the recent news on this kind of stuff. AND the lady at the front desk couldn't even explain why that happened.
We got another room and then the following day when we were out all day for a funeral, my son got back to the room and saw that there was no service in our room. My son had to find someone just to get clean towels. I imagine they didn't clean our room bc it wasn't even listed as occupied!
Then on Wednesday, my son noticed that some of his clothes were wet. His sweatpants next to his suitcase were drenched! I then noticed some of my clothes on the floor next to my suitcase were wet as well. He lifted up his suitcase to discover soapy water all over it. Therefore, they came in and "cleaned" and spilled soapy water, but didn't even bother to clean it up.
ļæ¼The final kicker was yesterday morning right before we were going to leave. My son opened the window to look at the sunrise and felt an instant shock on his head. It was a flippin wasp! There was a wasp nest right above our window!!
I spoke with the hotel GM and explained everything. He apologized and fully refunded our stay...that's the least he could do. I truly hope he takes to heart what happened. Thankfully the person whose room we entered wasn't ready to pounce!

Subpar for that brand, but maybe they gave us a crappy room because we booked through a third party site.
Furniture is old and outdated.
We only knew they were renovating after we checked in, got in the elevator and saw the notice. They should have at least let up know and have us the option to cancel and book elsewhere instead of shoving us into a mediocre room.

Everything was good except the fact that when I woke up in the morning to take a shower before heading to my meeting there was no running water in my room. I called front desk and they advised that they turned it off to make repairs and didnāt know when it will be turned on. I I had to wash my face with a water bottle. Horrible

Everything was perfect until I woke up in the morning and there was no water. It was a city thing that they were trying to do a routine maintenance at 3am but was supposed to be quick. It was not. Not the hotel's fault. The staff were very accomodating and very apologetic. I felt bad for them because it wasn't their fault and they couldn't do anything about it.

The spa was wonderful, and they had few ev chargers, checking and out was easy. And you can make the room pretty dark at night. So thats all good. But there's a trick to making the room dark that isn't obvious so first night until i figured it out wasn't so nice. Also internet was crap, they say you can upgrade for $5 a night but i wasn't able to opt for it as the system would crash when i made the attempt

Arrived late due to traveling at 3am hoping to get in the room to sleep a few hours before checkout and hit the road. Front doors were locked with no front desk staff in sight. Used the call button over 20 times with no answer and called the hotel several times with no answer, not exactly safe for a women traveling alone to be left outside for over 20 minutes in the middle of the night. When I finally got someone on the phone he sounded like he was sleeping in the back & annoyed he had to help me. After finally getting checked in, I proceeded to the 3rd floor where my room key didnāt work. When I got down stairs to get a new one, I was met with attitude and told that āI must have down something wrongā but he hesitantly gave me new keys. An HOUR later I was finally in my room at 4am. To top it all off the property charged me an extra $10 with no explanation.

Nice clean hotel. The evening Clark, Miss Tracy, was warm and welcoming. I had actually come from another hotel in the area that was such a bad experience I checked out and last-minute chose this one as the alternative and Iām so happy for my change. I will definitely stay here again.

Disappointed.
I was disappointed that they said they could provide a walk in shower before we left on 3/29 due to an injured knee. upon return on 4/2 I was assured that the room had a walk in shower. Unfortunately I didnāt check until after we unpacked. I was too tired and in pain from driving to ask to move. Also it meant I would have to go downstairs because the phone Jack was pushed into the wall so couldnāt connect the phone. Plus they didnāt inform me that there would only be cold breakfast due to construction beginning. The place was clean and bed comfortable.

Pretty outside. The hotel smelled like weed and in our room. Very strong. Our headcase for pillows . Two were dirty and the comforter had black stuff on it . Could tell the sheets wasnāt fresh because of that.

The room itself had burnt out lightbulbs, paint peeling from ceiling, smelled of mildew/musk. Was not informed the hotel was hosting a charity event at night that sounded like a night club DIRECTLY under my room. My bed was literally vibrating. When i returned to the hotel around 7pm, this even was just starting, there was not a single parking spot available on the property, i was asked to park in the senior living center across the street. Zero reimbursement or compensation, not even an apology for the inconvenience. Breakfast wasnt the best in my opinion. Will not stay here ever again.

The hotel is going through renovation. Noise sometimes is annoying when weāre trying to rest. Our room was next to janitorās room with staff shouting and their stuff and supplies room door open most of the time.
Breakfast area is small compared to the number of hotel guests. The kitchen attendant is so anxious to have guests leave!

Room was clean. Bathroom door lock was broken and the cold water handle did not work in the sink. Musty smell in the hallways but prob due to construction. Breakfast was well stocked but the fruit was almost spoiled.

Front desk was very pleasant beds were comfortable, breakfast was ok, parking was good. However there was a burnt and marijuana smell coming thru the vents and the floors and washroom were not as clean. There was no shampoo conditioner or body wash all the containers were empty.

I was aware of the construction on the building, but I never thought that my room becomes right under the construction. Is imagine that drilling and hammering on your head from 9:30AM to 5:30PM. So I left the room early to avoid the noise. It is okay because I knew it. However, lots of cockroaches come out in the bathroom, on the last day one of them crawls on the wall of the bedroom.
Does Marriott know it?
Sorry to say I lost my taste of breakfast which is not bad. Staffs are friendly.

I would rate amenities hire had the pool been open. It opened the day we checked out. Yet, the pool was full and appeared functioning for days.
