You may not get the room you paid for
We paid for a king room, but when we arrived at the property we were given a room with two doubles instead. When we went back down to the front desk to complain that we were checked into a room that wasn't what we paid for, they told us "the reservation was changed due to inventory and there are no king rooms available." But also that they couldn't refund our money or change anything about the booking because it was done through a third party.
They said that the manager would reach out to us to discuss how to remedy this, and then we never heard anything. We basically feel scammed: we paid for one thing and got something else and not a single staff person has made any attempt to fix this. We won't be staying there again unfortunately.

Overall the hotel is clean and modern. However, the floors are paper thin and if you're not on the top floor you will absolutely hear the room above you. It sounded like they were trying to come through the floor it was so loud, we called down and were assured they would take care of it but the noise persisted for over an hour (late at night). It occured the following night as well, to the point where my husband and I left our room to find out exactly where it was coming from. Turns out it's no fault of the patrons being loud it is just that there is next to no noise control/dampering in place. There was body hair left on the walls of the shower as well and what looked like blood stains on one of the pillows.

Nice place but watch out for parking fees
This was a very nice, clean, new facility in the suburbs of Boston with friendly staff and a very nice breakfast. Only reason for 3 stars was we were informed upon arrival that we would be charged for parking. Didn't expect this so far out from the city and added $45 to our 3 day stay. They informed us this was a 'recent change'. Went back and checked the website and it was there but you have to dig for it and the listed cost was lower than the actual charge. Since I'm guessing the great majority of guests require parking, it really should be included up front as an optional fee as part of the purchase process so it doesn't feel like such a cash grab.

We called twice and they didn't realize we had a reservation. Had to call a third time. This required us to scramble a bit to try to find a room for the night, only to call again and then they found our reservation. Bathroom trash still left from last occupant. Bathroom soap also used from last occupant.

The breakfast started at 7 am, my event started at 9 am and therefore I wish breakfast started at 6am. The hallways were very loud, there was other guests running and screaming in the hallways until around 10 pm, it’s not the hotels fault but it was very uncomfortable. There was also a surprise $10 parking fee, to leave my car in a ungaraged parking spot.

This is my go to hotel when I’m in Boston. It’s a quick drive into the city, always clean, quiet and you can’t beat the coffee and breakfast.

The hotel is very well appointed and well maintained. Its appearance is slightly offputting and the entrance is not easy to find. It is very close to the motorway so you can hear the traffic noise on one side of the hotel.

Having to pay for parking was ridiculous. “City view” is not really a city view it’s a view of the noisy Highway traffic. Certain items such as the table in the room were broken. Sofa bed in room dirty with crumbs from previous guests. No convientant dining close by. Would never book to stay again.

Comfortable, clean room. Good facility. Helpful staff. The only knock I have is that the area around the hotel is quite industrial, with no amenities (e.g. restaurants) within a reasonable walking distance. Everything requires a car.

Love Fairfield hotel
I love staying at Fairfield hotels, always clean, friendly and upscale for the price this was no exception. Except for this location off a main highway was very loud traffic all night I would not have expected that it wouu I do have been so loud.

Comfy Place.
I enjoy staying at the Fairfield. The rates are reasonable and the room is a regular size for a king bed. The breakfast offers a variety of foods . The lobby has many places to relax and sit.

My keurig coffee-maker would not close-and-lock onto the k-cup. I literally carried the coffee-maker to the front-desk and the nice lady there showed me the cleaning-staff had jostled a docking container. Once the docking container was in alignment the keurig coffee-maker locked onto the k-cup just fine. Thank you to that young lady!!

Overall the stay was good. The only issue is the noise from the hallway carried into the rooms. Also, when we went for breakfast, the coffee was out and it took a while to find someone to refill the coffee urn.

We had a great time. Hotel was clean and very family friendly. It is close to the interstate but the noise did not interrupt sleep. (My daughter said it was better than other hotels that are completely quiet). Breakfast was plentiful and had great choices.

Everything is wonderful at Fairfield-Marriot Waltham. Brand new. If I had to pick one complaint, the breakfast muffin/egg/cheese was not fresh and seemed to be reheated (tough to chew). But honestly, that was a very minor disappointment. (Breakfast was included in the nightly rate).

This establishment was a two to three at best reasoning number one their breakfast was so unimpressive number two they charge you for parking when they have no valet in an open parking lot so to me those were the things that brought the experience down to it too my daughter said it was a eight minus the breakfast and I brought it down because they didn't offer the breakfast was offered was just atrocious it was just terrible i've been better and that'satrocious

The property was clean and decorated for the holiday very nicely. You had to use your key card to use the elevator, which was nice for safety. The pool was nice and warm. The room was small but dainty. Breakfast had many options. Staff was all helpful and friendly! The price was the best around. Would stay again when traveling to the Boston area!

The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating! However, there was a daily $10.00 parking fee which did not make sense because the hotel had a large, easily accessible parking lot?!? There was also a nice, continental breakfast.

The facility is beautiful and clean. However, I was not able to sleep from the loud noise coming from the highway. The hotel overlooks the I-95 and the windows have no sound proofing.

This place ticked all the boxes for me, as it was the halfway point between mid-coast Maine and Brooklyn NY. It was perfectly located, clean, with a lovely room! I debated working out in their lovely facility, but in the end decided to just have a light dinner at the bar/restaurant as I decided I was simply too tired to exercise after all. I did not face the highway, saw my car where I parked it, and slept as soundly as can be. I will definitely stay here again, given its perfect location for me!

Good, but with rooms for improvements
Everything was good, including cleanliness. We noticed the following in a few hours upon check-in: 1) one of the pillows smelled horrible. That prompted us to think of pillow cases had ever been replaced upon each check-out by previous occupants; 2) no exhaust / near un-detectable exhaust movement in bathroom - this makes the mirror and the whole bathroom fogged up /damp: 3) tv remote buttons were not responsive to each pressing (dying batteries??)

One night stay for a family event. Apart from the minor mixup with the rooms (a front desk staff gave my brother in law keys to our room which we had already checked into) it was a nice stay. Friendly and helpful staff, clean room, shower pressure so good I didn’t want to get out, a very nice hot and cold complimentary breakfast. Hard to believe the hotel was right next to a busy Highway. You just saw the cars zooming by without noise

There are two hotels in this building, and if you stay at the Fairfield Inn the staff will treat you like a second class citizen who doesn’t deserve all the hotel amenities. Had a really unpleasant stay. Would not recommend.

I have been travelling for 50 year and never saw something like. Couldn’t sleep. The mattress was awful. On one side I sat on the side of the bed and drop like there was no support. I had to sleep in the middle of the bed otherwise I would roll into the hole.
