Great location, and excellent breakfast.
I also love that this location is attached to a cool restaurant with super pizza and beers. After a long day it was awesome to be able to walk over for a great meal without skipping the beer bc I didn’t have to drive there! :)

The room was cute but the long hallway on the ground floor smelled of marijuana smoke and woke up to cigarette smell in my room in the morning. I checked out after one night and checked into a different hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful though.

We were there in frigid weather so we scored w the great pizza joint that is attached. Great menu, nice place- and don’t hv to step outside.

The hotel was newly remodeled and the staff was great. The attached restaurant was a plus. I stayed during the winter and did not have to go out into the cold for meals.

1st of 3 La Quinta's on Road Trip To Southern TX
Hardwood floors throughout room - highly clean. Both outdoor & indoor swimming pools/hot tubs. Breakfast was freshly made (eggs) at griddle you could see the preparation being made. Dogs stayed free - no additional surcharge. Easy on/off access to interstate system. Numerous restaurants within walking distance. Wife said may have been the best La Quinta Inn we have stayed at.

Repeat road trip hotel
Have stayed at this LaQuinta several times - perfect mid-trip stop between Chicago & Dallas, and no pet fee, nice outdoor courtyard area, attached restaurant = great hotel for our needs & will continue to stay on the repeat.

La Quinta - Joplin
This has to be one of the best La Quinta’s I’ve stayed at. Friendly staff, clean & safe property, many amenities, a nice courtyard in the middle of the hotel, good breakfast, great location, and nice rooms. After checking in, I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the restaurant connected to the hotel as well.

The room was clean and fairly quiet. Staff was friendly. The breakfast spread was probably one of the best I've had at a hotel. Fresh eggs, sausages, waffles - and attentive staff to help keep it all stocked and hot.

They needed to have enough towels and coffee cups and Kcups to equate the number of beds in the room. Also the number of towels did not equate the number of spots in the room.

The hotel looked fine, the staff was nice, breakfast was well done. But the vinyl tile floors in the bedroom were nasty. I spilled some water on the floor the night ww got there, got a wash cloth to wipe it up. The cloth came up black. I reported it & was told it would get cleaned better the next day. Either the staff doesn’t really know how to clean them or they just don’t have the right equipment but when we got back in the next evening I took a wet wipe & wiped a spot on the floor again. It wasn’t as dark but still not what I would call clean. I used to clean houses. I would have been fired for such poor service. Just not well done. Never let my bare feet touch it while we were there.

Chicago Pizza, attached restaurant, was a big plus after a long travel day and the hotel’s massive lobby with privacy areas and fire places gave it a cozy feel. Room was clean and comfortable. 5 stars at a good rate.

It was fine for an overnight stop. Breakfast was very good. Area has lots of parking but is pretty noisy because of all the parking for large trucks and RVs parking throughout the night. Good location.

Seems to be new or newly renovated. Room was great but it was dark, needed more lighting.Breakfast was better than average.
Desk was friendly and helpful. They have an awesome large guest laundry. Restaurant attached to the hotel was terrific. Good bar, great bartender, great menu, great food!

This is a really huge facility, which we weren;t expecting. But it is clean in all the areas we've seen, the parking lot is well lighted, and it is a very good LaQuinta. The area around it has some dining and other motels, but is really busy. Our room is quiet, so the traffic isn't really a problem. There is an Old Chicago attached, which is very convenient.

NOT a new hotel as the picture looks to be...SAD !! Restaurant staff not friendly or truly the overall restaurant experience wasn't good.. thats enuff said about that......HOTEL PART. It wasnt what i call reasonable.. I tried twice to make a " wake up call " as i needed to be up early Saturday morning, nobody picked up the phone. And the itime i called was 10:50 pm. First call , It rang like 12 times (maybe 15) the second try ,USELESS ! About 6 or 7 rings. Got NOTHING,.. i gave up ! I'm not an angry hotel guy ,but Honestly, the service wasnt good at all. JUST SAY'N LA Quinta inn hotel in joplin ,Mo isnt going to get business again .. ENOUGH SAID . Thanx !

Exit door to parking very close to room. The housekeeping used Swifter on floors, makes for squeaky floors. Just a steam cleaner would have been better. Hardly any water with steam cleaner.

But certain staff members left something to be desired.
This was my second business trip, why would I ever stay again after being treated that way whilst trying to check-out.
I'm trying to check out, and no one would come to the desk to help me even though they were in the side office watching me.
With one of them even commenting,
"He's just standing there"

Certainly shouldn’t be rated “fabulous” by hotels.com. This was the first time I have been disappointed by the rating from hotels.com. The staff were excellent and so was the breakfast…the rest was average at best.

Facility looks like it was old building that was covered up with a cheap remodel. Booked room a month in advance and we were put in the basement with people who had pets.(Dogs barking in different rooms). Ceiling tiles falling apart doors/walls beat up. Breakfast was so so but the toast, bagels, etc were gone so maybe it would of been better. I choose pricier hotels on purpose. This was a $150 a night room that should of been $80.
