Room looks like it was recently remodeled, appears brand new. Bed was very comfortable. A like more covers on the bed but I increased the temperature and it was very comfortable. They r remodeling the outside but all of that takes time. Room was great.

The people were all super sweet and helpful. The other guests were as well. We were just driving through so i don't know anything about the neighborhood but we, as two females, felt safe and were not worried for our safety at all. The hotel was undergoing improvements. The only thing negative i could say was that my queen bed didn't have a cover or blanket. I grabbed one from the car. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean and well kept. We did get the handicapped room and the only thing to say there was that the bathtub/shower... you still had to step into. Depending on your limitations, that may not work for you.

Clean stay (I did a wipe multiple wipe tests), staff was polite and helpful. I will admit I am extremely picky, and particular about staying in hotels/bnb's... But I was pleasantly surprised. Construction on the premises did not interfere at all. They also provided complimentary, Dove hygiene products in my bathroom. Cant beat their price, especially if staying for multiple nights. They also offer breakfast. Overall a great location with different restaurants and shops nearby. Was assisted by several employees on different occasions, and each had the same positive energy. Thank you to LaQuinta at Research Park!

There was insufficient towels for bathing. The lining was soiled, and the bath itself was damaged and/or not cleaned properly. We had to keep calling for supplies which we had to fetch ourselves from the reception. Once we were told that towels requested were not available.

The room smelled awful. The scent was thick. It smelled like someone tried really hard to cover up cigarette odor. I was too exhausted to ask for another room, i had just worked 13 hours as an RN at a nearby nursing home. I do per diem travel work and did not want to drive back home to chattanooga. Everything was clean and comfortable but i just fell asleep hoping to go nose blind.

10/10 i am definitely staying again if i’m ever back in town. facilities were modern and up to date on everything. staff was super nice and very accommodating! and it had the best nightly rate out of all of the surrounding hotels. and it’s right in the middle of everywhere u wanna be. 10 min driving distance of target, bridge street mall, lots of breakfast/lunch/dinner options.

The room that I saw advertised didn’t look like it had a carpeted floor, but when I got in the room I saw it had a carpet. The room smelled bad. The walls were dirty and the bathroom tub was full of stains.

Hotel from Hell
The room smelled like stinky feet and bleach! We only had one large towel and no wash cloths, the sink faucet was broken and the tub was dirty. There was also trash in the trash can.

Travel to the area often for work. Never had any issues or concerns about my stay. Service is excellent! The room I stay in is clean, and staff is always available when I need them. Overall, excellent choice!

There were no towels in the room when we arrived and upon requesting in person at the front desk I was told they didn’t have any. The attitude was just that. No explanation why, an apology, nothing⁉️ Wasn’t nice at all not being able to shower with no towels available nor soap. Plus the bathroom was nasty with mildew everywhere. What has happened to LaQuinta? We’ve always stayed at the because of pets which by the way they charged me for and I’ve never been charged ever. Will never stay at one again.

The check in clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. It was near where we want it to be. They had a nice free breakfast in the morning also.

Not gonna stay again
Floors were sticky, shower was dirty. Beds were at least clean. Fridge didn’t work and the outside looks like a construction zone. Couldn’t find parking due to construction trailers. Loud noises early in the morning.

Had a problem getting in the room. Key wouldn't work and went to the desk 2xs. Finally desk clerk had to use her key and opened it. She was super nice and took care of the problem.

Beware
The rooms were redone as expected and were fine however when we asked for towels to be replaced on the third day we were told they had no towels. I had given my brothers my face cloths as they had none nor did either room have hand towels. The outside of the buildings are being repaired but the stench of urine was evident by some of the buildings and outside my brothers room.

The staff was friendly, upbeat and helpful. The room had been recently remodeled and was comfortable and pleasant. The location was convenient for shopping, dining, etc. We were only there for one night for medical reasons, but would stay there again if we needed to spend a night in Huntsville.

TLTR: don’t stay here: it’s gross
When I pulled into the property, I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I don’t usually stay in places like this but I’m on a tight budget. The staff was super friendly and and the lobby was bare but seemed clean. Check on was smooth and easy. I went around and parked by the stairs. As my son and I lugged our luggage upstairs, I noticed the stairs were coming apart. Ok, it’s old, I tell myself. That doesn’t mean it’s dirty. I’m often made fun of for being boujie, so I’m trying guys. We get to the door. Half of the lock is missing. Deep breaths, but anxiety is climbing, we get in. The paint on the lamp is missing- that’s the first thing I notice. I close the door. There’s a strict no smoking policy but that might make it smell better. The bed is nicely made with white sheets. The kind fancy hotels use but I don’t trust it. Check for bed bugs- I instruct my son who has no clue how to do this. I go to the bathroom. The baseboard is pulled away from the wall. Caulk is missing. The hotel is run down. I pee. I decide to google how to check for bed bugs. Pull the covers back. Omg. There’s hair. Gross. We aren’t staying here. I need a shower, let’s go.
We got a refund. Stayed in a boujee hotel. Don’t stay here.

Disappointing stay
I always stay in La Quinta hotels when I come back to Huntsville for homecoming, but this stay was by far the worst I ever experienced. I checked in the room Friday evening around 9pm when I made it to the room it appeared nice until I went into the bathroom where I noticed that were only one set of towels there were two face and one hand towel I called the front and was told that there not any towels available and to try again in the morning. The following morning I’ll called the desk again and was informed that there were still no towels because an employee called out. I asked how am I supposed to bathe and was told to use the soap provided and air dry. So while checking I asked was there anything that could be done to compensate my terrible experience I was there nothing that they could do and I want be reimbursed the money I spent on towels. After this stay I am seriously reconsidering being a loyal patron during this event.

This is the best hotel in town! The staff is welcoming and courteous. The interior room design is superb. I appreciate that there are multiple outlets throughout the room; that the bathroom door uses a quick-access handle instead of a knob; that the toilet has a two-button flush system; that there are two desk/table spaces; that it has a walking shower; that the perimeter of the bathroom mirror illuminates wonderfully; that there is a high vertical shelf for personal storage and an outer curved rod for a clothing rack; that it has a lot of lamps, including two intense focus reading lights; that the AC system works well and quietly; that the TV is mounted to a beautiful backboard on the wall; that is has a very comfy armchair and an ergonomic desk chair; that the beds are firm and the covers light and refreshing; that the breakfast bar is very well kept and constantly replenished; that the staff responds fast to any inquiry or request; and that all of this comes at a great rate! This really is the best place to stay in town! Congratulation to you, La Quinta of Huntsville!

Place has roaches. Do not, i repeat, do not go here. I booked a two night stay. Woke up after the first night, i saw 2 roachs scurry across the desk. Tgen i killed 2 roaches in the bathroom. I immediately shook and packed my belongings, got out of there.

I loved the cheerful customer service! Constance and her team were great. Although the property is in the process of being remodeled, there was little to no noise. I was in one of the upgraded rooms and it was beautiful, comfortable and well worth the stay. The location was close to my on site station but I found myself working remote because of the comfort and ease of the quiet and access to everything. Thank you Constance and team at LaQuinta at Research Park! See you again soon!

Good Business Stay
Hotel was cost efficient. The room I stayed in had leather chairs that were worn out and discolored. Good Internet though so I had no issues getting some work done. They were nice enough to already have the rooms AC set down to a comfortable level before we checked in.

Nice room but bathroom shower was not clean.
Overall I enjoyed my stay. The bathroom shower did not appear to be properly cleaned. There was a piece of used old soap in the shower and there was hair other debris on the shower wall. The room itself was nice and clean. It looked like they skimped on the bathroom when they did the cleaning.
That was the only thing that was disappointing. I did Call the front desk and they offered to change my room but it was late and we were very tired so we didn’t bother.

Visited this property in town for my uncle's funeral last min booking on a budget wasn't expecting the best but if you can afford to pay a few extra bucks I suggest you do so. Horrible smell shower was not clean counters were not clean and the bedding was dirty clearly used and remade trash was left behind from a quick sweep job. I was able to get fresh sheets, not a comforter. The comforter is as thin as a street and dirty unwashed clearly. Front desk GSR was great she did her best with what she had to work with. This property on the other hand needs serious work. I was in the double so-called newly renovated room which I requested bottom floor due to my mother not being able to climb the stairs, of course, they placed us on the 2nd floor that's when it all went down hill. If you have no choice just need a place this can work. I suggest you bring your own bedding and do your own cleaning.

Room had a horrible smell. Lots of construction around the hotel and some rooms where pretty far walk from the parking area. Had a disable person with me and she struggled. Area around the hotel was very busy traffic wise. You would need a car to get around.

Property was a bit run down and the rooms were very old and dirty. Carpets, chairs, and walls were filthy.
However beds were clean and comfy, AC was cold. Not much parking but Dennys is right across the parking lot. Bathroom was clean, shower water pressure was great.
The ladies at the front desk were helpful and friendly. Didnt try the breakfast. It was ok for a one night stay. Only killed one roach.

So far thisbwas the qorst room ive had. I booked my room the ngiht before so there should be no reason fornme to find roaches in my room and 3 of the wall plug-ins dont work.

Parking is not free, which is quite a pain. I believe that most guests here use their own cars. And there are not that many restaurants around the premise. But continental breakfast is great with omelets, and room is quite spacious!

I didn’t like that they had changed my room to something i didn’t book but wanted 200 extra as a deposit on top of what I book and the bathroom had no door handle in the inside and the room I was switched to was smoking and I don’t smoke

The front desk staff were sweet and very professional. The room was one that had been updated. No coffee cups in the room. only 1 full bath size towel and the floor and counter tops were sticky from previous coffee sitting on them and spilled.

The front desk staff was terrific and the price was good. Unfortunately, the room was loud, didn’t have a bathtub, and the facilities are poor (stairwell falling apart, grubby outdoor spaces, etc.). Service was good, however, and the room seemed clean—it was fine and the price and location were good.

The un-remodeled section of the building is falling apart and has a terrible stench, (probably mold).. the remodeled section was better but the stairs are not too safe unless repairs are made. The area wasn’t that great but better than others hotels around

The room was suposed to be smoke free but smelled of cigarettes. It was dusty, the bathroom and tub looked dirty. It looked like someone refolded dirty towels and presented them like new ones. I did not feel comfortable sleeping there so Ieft. The staff wwere really nice, maybe it was a staffing issue with the cleaning crew?

We did not think this would be amazing by any stretch of the imagination at 100.00. We checked in at 2 in the morning so we were just going to sleep and get back on the road. The first room the ceiling was peeing and you could see the top. There were huge stains across the carpet and the smell was horrendous. It could have been because it was a smoking room and she said that they didn’t air them out. There were no blankets on the bed. Only one of the lights worked. I went to open the window to try and air it out and the top plastic part of the window broke off in my hand. Then the window was stuck open. All you could smell outside was trash because we were right over where they were doing renovations. When she brought us the sheets and blankets she also tried to help us get the window down. She said she could call maintenance but by this time I think it was close to 3. She then said option 2 was to swap our rooms. The second room was clean and nice. She was wonderful and tried to help us as much as she could. . But it was pretty bad.

This is the worst La Quinta I’ve ever stayed at. Exterior walls are crumbling; cement stairs are crumbling; moldy shower; and peeling paint make this a one star rated hotel at best.
