Our room was a little bit dirty. And a little beat up. But overall pretty good, friendly staff. Cleaned the room and made beds daily. Continental breakfast was fabulous.

On our last day cleaning staff “Lillian” woke us up. She was persistent until I opened the door. Check out time is at 11:00! It was very rude. I do not plan on using them again.

Housekeeping did not vacuum, change the sheets nor clean the bathroom adequately during a one week stay. Business center computers were inoperative. Carpets were filthy.

Nice but…
Pool heater was broken so the pool was cold. My daughter swam anyways but I think because the heater was down they also neglected to clean (skim) the debris out of it. We came from a cold climate so we were bummed about the pool. Manager was less than helpful regarding the issue.

Another awesome stay.
I was checked in very fast and was told I get a free shuttle. I used this shuttle to attend a concert and wasn't sure if they pick me back up but the location was so close I walked it. Bed was very comfy and room has everything I need to enjoy my stay like a fridge and iron. Free breakfast in the morning so I really enjoyed this visit. This is the 3rd time I stayed in an express inn and I am very satisfied each time. Also you need to scan card to get into entrance so that good security and safety.

The manager on duty was amazing! I believe her last name was Cruz but I forgot her first name. Always available, super cheerful and friendly. She told us that if we needed anything, she was available to help. When my daughter went to have breakfast they were out of milk for cereal, staff personally brought her milk and didn’t make a big deal of it. I hope in the future to come the hotel because the service was top notch from check in to check out. They gave me a great impression of Glendale. I suffer from stress discoverer and everything about my time there was super easy. Also the shuttle service to the local venues was convenient, and on call. Our driver was very personable also. Thanks for testing us so well.

The only complaint I have is that the walls are thin, and you hear everything in the hall and the people upstairs stomping around at all hours. The staff and housekeeping were very friendly. The breakfast is amazing!!!

Great value! The staff were friendly, the room was clean, the hotel felt safe, parking was always easy to find (even with a big event), the free shuttle service was really great to help get us to the event we went to, the complimentary breakfast was well done (decent variety and good quality). We didn't have a chance to use the pool but the facility looked nice. It's a bit far from the stadium and arena (30min walk). Would stay again!

Everything was great except that it sounded like people were constantly jumping in the room above us, running in each room next to us, and you can hear every door slam shut whether it was deliberately or trying to be shut quietly.

This is one of the best Holiday Inn Express that I've stayed at. My room was huge (double queens). The hotel was nice, clean, and close to Cane's. The pool was amazing! My daughters had fun playing in the pool. Also, the breakfast was delicous! I would actually stay here next time I go to Phoenix, Scottsdale, or Glendale.

Breakfast day 1 was ok, bacon disappeared fast, saw someone using fingers in meat warming bins. Breakfast day 2 was poorly planned, nowhere to place plate while ladeling gravy onto biscuit.
Rough bricks at entrance caused us to lose our luggage 3 times!!

I’m happy with everything, however i would like to mention that they have the worst toilet paper and I don’t know why they have parking fee, i mean the hotel is not in a densely populated cities like Honolulu, LA, San Francisco, NYC.

Very nice stay
I was surprised at how nice this hotel was. The pictures looked fabulous as pictures always do, but I'd say they were fairly on point. The staff was friendly and nice. My husband and I only stayed for a short trip, but I'd definitely go back if I ever had too.

Likes: free parking. Easy access to freeway. Close to shopping decent breakfast. Easy check in and check out. Beds were clean. Lots of pillows
Dislikes: floors were filthy. Looked as if they never vacuumed or mopped. Cleaners never replenished coffee. No bar soap or individual shampoo and conditioner. Toilet kept backing up.

The hotel staff wouldn’t move our room. We were next to the back exit and the constant slamming off the door was loud. We were also next to screaming kids. We just wanted to relax. No such luck

Highly recommended place for families
We stayed for 2 nights, got 2 queen sized beds, room had a mini fridge which is great when traveling with a little one. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, room had an awesome view, I would definitely be staying here again when we go back to Glendale in 2 weeks. Not to mention breakfast was awesome. Highly recommended hotel for families.

Hi Ivy, as we entered the hotel last night I thought it was beautiful clean very crisp and once we got up to our room as we were exhausted from a very long flight we noticed that there was all like black stuff on the tub around the tub by the sink I don't know what it was there was some mold in the bathroom in the corner by the door and by the window where the heater is there was all kinds of I don't even know what it was I picked everything up with paper towel napkins put it in the garbage and went to bed as we were exhausted and we got up and left this morning so I don't know who clean the room prior to our stay or if maybe something happened in the room but I wasn't very happy with the actual room had a little bit of an odor which I thought was the mold the other dampness that I smelled when we walked in but I was unsure but I took my wipes and my paper towels what I had and cleaned it out myself....not sure if you can help compensate us for this! Appreciate it! Thank you!

Great Stay!
We booked this hotel because it's close to the stadium. Not sure if we got an upgrade but our room was incredibly spacious and in a very quiet part of the hallway. The pool area is like a resort - loved it! Very comfortable bed....probably the best sleep I had throughout our trip. Would stay here again.

Grumpy shuttle driver!
The shuttle driver back and forth from the game was really, really grumpy and pretty rude. Maybe it was because he had to work on Christmas though.

As I was pulling in to check in , their shuttle driver for the hotel screamed at my family to move my car ..? Yet they have no signs or marking to indicate any shuttle area or zone ? Very rude we left immediately without even staying nor will we ever again to many other hotels to choose from .

Very nice facility. I do suggest that anyone working the front desk know how look at billing. I had a question on my charges later in the night and the lady at the front desk said she didn't know that I would have to speak to a manager whom did not go in until the next day at 930 am and that she thought another one would be in earlier but did not know.

The first room I stayed in had nice contemporary furnishings overlooking the pool area and the king-size bed was comfortable. The only problem was a very annoying electric hum that got louder as the night progressed and I woke up at 4 am and could not sleep because of it! I changed rooms the following day and was put in a room with 2 queen beds and views of the street/parking lot. It was a downgrade, but quiet. However, the desk lamp I needed did not work. I reported it and returned 5 hrs later to find they never fixed it. I had to return to the front desk later in the evening as I had left my phone charger in the 1st room. The desk clerk I asked for the card key was a condescending smart ass. All the other staff was very accommodating and nice. When I left, I doubled checked the noise coming from the 1st room and could clearly hear it in the hallway.
