We enjoyed our stay except for the loud sound made by the heater which came on and off frequently throughout the night. The weather was very cold, but our room was toasty. There were many breakfast options and the staff kept it all well stocked despite the ravenous hockey player group.

Very convenient to I495. Large parking lot, well lite. Sign to locate driveway was small, and it was strange having to go through a Dunkin' parking lot to get to their parking lot.

The only real issue was the customer service. The cleaning crew didn’t replace towels 2 times so we called down and asked for towels and pillows. They didn’t have anyone available either evening to bring them to our room so we had to go down and get them. The staff was also not very nice. Not blatantly rude at all, just kind of indifferent towards the guests. I get that it’s the northeast and people are generally not overly nice but it’s a little different when it comes to the hospitality business. At least smiling at the guests and thanking them for staying there should be the bare minimum. They were just very indifferent and more interested in talking amongst themselves than making their guests feel welcome. Other than that, the facility itself is very nice. Very clean. Good breakfast. Fantastic mattresses, specifically.

Nice hotel but no power in building for two days due to a storm. We probably shouldn’t have even stayed there. I would’ve been satisfied with being refunded my money so that I was able to go somewhere else. They couldn’t refund me since we booked through Expedia. I understand it isn’t their fault that the power was out but we really should have been refunded.

Staff was very friendly, room was fairly clean. But the air coming out of the AC unit smelled like urine, as if someone had peed in it. So that was fairly unpleasant. But the bed was ridiculously comfortable. A definite plus.

Pleasant place to stay.
Everyone was very friendly. My check-in was very easy, and I found that the desk clerk, Elvis, was extremely pleasant to chat with. The breakfast buffet being included in the price was convenient. And my room was relatively quiet.

second time staying there. The air conditioning unit not only in the lobby of the hotel but in my room was not blowing cold air...tried to turn the thermostat down to 68-64, but would stayed at 74 throughout the entire stay. it was also humid, as if the condenser was not working. Very disappointing and made for an uncomfortable evening of sleep.

I was very impressed with this hotel and the staff. We had 3 large dogs with us, there was no additional charge and everyone was amazing about them. Everything was very clean and the people were we a friendly.

Better on inside than it looks from the outside
This hotel does NOT look nice from the outside. It is located behind an abandoned Friendly's and right off the road. However, once you walk inside, the lobby is brand new, very inviting and super clean. Elevator and halls are kind of dark, but once again the room is very clean has a bit of a funny smell but new bed linens etc. Hotel is not that far from Andover which is great

Even though I booked this room through Expedia, they were going to charge me $100 more. I had to show them the agreed upon price and insist that they honor it! They did but it took some doing.

The ac in the room didn’t work and the room felt damp the entire night. Disappointing for the brand holiday inn, they are usually top notch. For the price of the stay I would have went elsewhere.

The property was hard to find because it was tucked away from the street. There were two small signs indicating an entrance that was shared with a Dunkin Donuts. I would improve the signage. Breakfasts were good and the room was clean. Was missing wash clothes, which were not provided, despite request on the last day of stay.

There’s is nice and easy to get on the highway and restaurants around. Friendly staff in the front desk, but the housekeepers are rude and lazy.
They use the same bed sheets despite they are dirty and don’t leave clean towels behind. After even telling the front desk about it. I saw the front desk personnel call and tell them. When I went back to my room they still didn’t give me fresh towels.
No sense of hospitality. And when approaching them to say high. They give you dirty looks.

At 11:00am on the door someone was banging on the door like they wanted the whole neighborhood to hear it. I yelled "coming out now sorry" and I continued to grab my thing and the banging continued. It's ridiculous... I know what time it is relax and it's not professional

Poor location
Hotel was behind a boarded up restaurant. Entrance signage was poor and you had to drive through two parking lots to get to it. Elevators were not working so you had to use the stairs. Almost impossible to make left turn onto the street during certain times of the day.

The elevators were broken. The toilet ran nonstop.The breakfast was cold. The signage to get to the motel was poor. However the motel was clean. It could be upgraded as it is outdated . The price was high compared to what you got... $147 per night Should have given us at least a working elevator. My husband is handicapped was not easy for us

Elevators were not working. Had to walk up and down two stsaircases with our luggage. Heater was set on cool and we needed heat. TV reception was nonexistent on several important stations. Internet didn't work for iPad.

Disappointed to find the elevator not in service!!
Especially to have carry luggage and a hockey bag up 3 flights of stairs.
Beds uncomfortable and sink to the middle and would be nice to have an extra blanket. Especially for winter months or warmer comforter on top. Constant noise of heater to try to get the room warm which makes Noises all night long.

No elevator. My sister and I are in our seventies so walking upstairs was not good. There was no signal on our tv and no telephone to call the front desk. When i tried use the hair dryer it was broken. AN EMAIL SHOULD HAVE GONE OUT TO NOTIFY ME THERE WAS NO ELEVATOR. AT THAT TIME I COULD HAVE MADE A DECISION TO GO TO A DIFFERENT HOTEL.

The hotel had only 1 working elevator that was barely serviceable and had no certification. Impossible to get room temperature to match thermostat setting. Hard to find entrance as you drove thru a Dunkin Donuts lot to get to hotel. Nice sheets and good water pressure.

Let me start off by saying the staff was pleasant, patient and kind. Now that the niceties are out of the way let me say that our stay was a huge disappointment. The elevators were non-operational and our room was on the 4th floor. Would have never booked if this was known and looking at the reviews they have been down over a month. The heater/ac smelled like mold so that clearly hasnt been serviced. The hall smelled of stale cigarettes. The bathroom was cleaned iffy at best. The tv remote barely functioned. Awful.

We were very disappointed because we had to carry languages to the 4th floor since elevator was not working. Plus the functions of sink and refrigerator didn’t work properly. Toilet was not clean.

The stay here was fine. But this hotel really put us through a lot of hardships since before check in. We were unable to check in until 3:30 after driving 16 hours with two small children. Then the elevator was not working and we had to carry all of our things to the third floor. The staff did help us carry it. There were no towels or shower curtain in the bathroom. The following day we noticed there was an authorized charge posted. We had already paid at check in and when we called they said it was a mistake and could not explain to what happened. When we came back they said it was a simple mistake and we should receive our funds the same day. Next day at checkout they could not find these charges and acted like they did not believe me we had additional charges. I had to show my husbands bank account. They did not do anything to rectify this mistake. We left very upset as we had no idea what happened to our funds. Later we realized they charged us AGAIN for the stay. This is almost 700 DOLLARS. Which is ridiculous when you are out of town and on a budget with unexpected expenses. Everyone is obviously incompetent and should not work in this industry

The elevator was out my entire stay, and they put me on the 4th floor right next to the stairs and I heard people walking up all night. They only gave me $50 off for this great inconvenience. They could not give me a final bill when I checked out. The property is nice, but the location is tough to get to and out of with traffic a tiny road with no turning lane to get into.

Broken ELEVATORS
We got there and were told the elevators didn’t work! I have back and knee issues and we were in the third floor. Personally I think it is completely unacceptable and we should have been called and warned that the elevators are out of service. I understand things break and have to be fixed but the guy should’ve been notified, I believe that is completely unacceptable. We also requested a late check out and we’re only able to get until 11:30. Again, after all of the inconvenience I think they could’ve worked a little more with that. Beds were extremely comfortable but super disappointed in the other stuff.

Did not like this place.. was put on the first floor and the elevator was broken. I had major surgery and could not be on the 1st floor.
staff was rude and hateful. No English spoken. Did not even know the word coffee. The manager did not care. I was very very unhappy. Surprised Holiday Inn accepts this property in its run-down condition.
