We love the area, that's why we booked this hotel. But they placed us in a shabby building, which was renovated at the same time we stayed there! Also No view ( even I asked so many times), just workers outside the window!! We couldn't open the curtains because of that! - no privacy!

Kind of ridicules
The location is great ! The only thing is the weird policy. We ordered 4 rooms, my friend who travelled parents arrived at 4pm , they was supposed to get 2 rooms. but she could not get it because I registered the name under my name. My flight only can arrive at mid night. I called hotel to explain the situation by saying I can provide all the document by phone/email just to release the 2nd room for my friend. After all the communication, she could not get it and ended up pay for the extra 5th room on the spot.

Had an awesome time and the customer service was great. The location was perfect to the beach and everything on Ocean Drive. Would definitely stay here again. Celebrated our 14 yr wedding anniversary for just a quick wknd getaway.

Excellent location for beach access. Easy walk to many restaurants and shops including Lincoln Road Mall. Comfortable, spacious, nicely furnished room. We enjoyed our stay.
Unclear why the term "Resort" appears in the name, for the amenities expected from a resort are absent. However it is a very good hotel and recommended unless you want (for instance) a pool or a reserved beach cabana.

Right in the action.
Surprisingly, there was rarely a staff member at the front desk at this hotel and its sister hotel (and the one in between)...for hours.
Would be incredibly frustrating if you needed to check-in or some assistance.
Our 2 bedroom suite was perfect for our family of 6.
I will return.

Love our stay at Crescent hotel. I would definitely book there again. It was perfect for a last minute booking. I was so happy the room included a kitchen. It was convenient because we have a baby and I was able to boil his drinking water and sterilized his bottles. We was able to store our leftovers from the restaurants in fridge along with drinks and baby food.
We got the park/ocean view room. Everything in the room looked fairly new and clean. We were all very comfortable and happy.
The only thing I think needs improving is the coffee station. I wanted a cup of tea and couldn’t get one :-/

Very thankful for the early check in as I had been traveling all night. The room was nice and clean and I loved the living and kitchen area. The area has everything one needs, from restaurants to shopping. The only downfall is the shower had little pressure and the water temperature was not hot at all. Also, the directions to the lounge chairs at the beach could be clearer by the front desk agent. But overall, good property with a great location.

We booked this trip last minute with little knowledge of the area. Chose it because of the proximity to the beach. Was expecting far less than what we actually got. Hotel staff was very friendly, room was extremely nice and larger than what I was expecting. Bed was very comfortable. Nice front porch to sit on and enjoy the weather. Ocean Drive is closed in front of the hotel so did have to walk less than a block to get an Uber. Honestly I think it being closed is a bonus, because it is pretty loud a couple blocks down where it is open and probably would have been hard to sleep. Exceptional value would definitely recommend

I had a room with a kitchenette and living room and it was lovely. The best thing about the room me and my wife liked that it had multiple doors to close off the bathroom from ths bedroom door and a closing door to close from the living room. So if someone in the next room making noise u can close that closing door to sound out any noice. The kitchen has a dishwasher and they include everything u need pots pans dishes, dishwashing liquid coffee maker. Bathroom was big we definitely would stay again

The resort is SO much better than it looks in pictures. The pictures look so outdated that I was hesitant but was the resort was so clean. The location is AMAZING. Do not sleep on this resort!

The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. The king bed was amazing. The proximity to the beach and center of town was perfect. Check in was smooth. In room we could not hear any noise from outside or other rooms. Having a stovetop and large refrigerator were a must for us.

We were in a small suite which had a living area/kitchen in addition to the good sized bedroom. We were very comfortable during our stay. We loved being so close to the beach and walking distance to everything, including the convention center for an antique show. Our room was very quiet, we were on the top floor. You have to park at a nearby parking garage and walk your luggage over to get checked in. My wife loved the Keurig coffee maker in the lobby. Our stay was overall very comfortable, not luxurious, but a nice place to begin the day and rest between activities. We would stay here again for the value and convenience.

I had a one bedroom with living room and kitchen the space was perfect for my spouse,son and I. I like the fact that it was spacious, had what I need to cook; they could improve with the lighting for those that like more light. They have seating in the front so you can relax and enjoy day or night its right across the street from the beach. I had a few hiccups since I stayed during change in management however we made the most of our 3 week stay. I did have the pleasure of meeting the new person in charge the day I was leaving and based on our conversation due to inconveniences I had; she made sure to make things right. I have hopes of visting again soon since I know she is going to do her best to make stays an even greater experience.Thank you Mrs Borsos.

Very comfortable renovated hotel
Nicely renovated one-bedroom suite. Comfortable furniture, doors in the right places, decent lighting, full kitchenette, nice towels. Really, a very comfortable room. As long as you don't front on Ocean Blvd. it's quiet.
One complaint: No hooks to hang towels or anything else in the bathroom. None!

Our room was very clean! People at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again. Great location too! Steps away from the beach and I lived that Ocean Drive was closed due to Covid. It was open to walk which gave more room for people to walk because usually it is very crowded.

GREAT LOCATION! It's LITERALLY on Ocean Dr, right across the street from the beach. Considering the rates amongst it's competitors, the hotel is the MOST REASONABLE of them all, based off the perk of it being on Ocean Dr ALONE! It's small but comfortable for party of 2-4! It doesn't have a pool, in which it's mainly because the beach is across the street, but they'll supply you with beach towels. The beds are comfy & there are great sized TVs. 2 of the main downfalls are the fact that you can't open the window to enjoy the air/breeze & the EXTREMELY small elevator that'll only hold about 3-4 people! So if you have a lot of luggage, you'll definitely have to make multiple trips to your room(s). Outside of that, I enjoyed my 1 day stay.

The people are very nice there. Very nice but Yooooooo!!!!! I didn’t even stay at the dump. I left my luggage at the hotel and crashed at the Hyatt with my cousin. Yoooo!!!! It reminded me of the rooms at the ymca back when they offered housing to homeless people.

10 AM check out on South Beach... really!
There were about $20 of hidden fees that we did not know about in advance (that annoys me). There is a 10 AM checkout which is way too early after a night on South Beach. I won't stay there again.

Booked a room for my wife and daughters so they could spend one day in South Beach. Leading up to the stay, they local authorities put in restrictions due to the massive crowds, including bringing in the National Guard. I asked to cancel the non-refundable rate due to these excessive circumstances and their safety. Hotel said to talk with Orbitz, Orbitz said the hotel wasn't responding, then no one got back to me and I was still charged and they never used the reservation. Now told too bad.

My experience at this hotel was excellent close to everything and staff was friendly room was amazing and clean and right in the center of everything and the beach was right there. Only thing was I wanted to relax on the rooftop which wasn’t finished yet

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, love seat could use updating. Very comfortable stay. This hotel didn’t offer many amenities that some of the other hotels along the strip did. No pool or food of any kind. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming though. Everything was in walking distance, I’d stay again.

Great location but difficult to drop off luggage
location was amazing but Ocean Drive is closed to through traffic. You have to drop off passengers and luggage near the Betsy Hotel and carry everything a few buildings over to the Crescent. I used the Betsy valet service to park the car.
Our room was located on the first floor near the lobby and was noisy in the morning when staff started working.
There was something wrong with the phone system when we booked and we were literally unable to contact the hotel directly to find out when our room would be available or call concierge to assist with luggage (from the Betsy location). Every menu option ended with "We're sorry ..." and this continued all day. Unacceptable considering Ocean Drive is closed and the website recommends you call for concierge service with luggage upon arrival.

Was going on cruise that was cancelled. Still visited Miami. Hotel has great location, and Front Desk staff was great. Only issue is that bedroom had some cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Everything else was very clean.

The location is great; the one bedroom suite spacious & generally clean. There was good water pressure in the shower, etc. There was basically no soundproofing to adjoining room, and lots of noise coming from the street outside. Also the only locking mechanism on the door was a deadbolt. Many hotels have an extra hasp for security.

The staff was friendly and helpful during every interaction. I stayed here for my wedding, and they surprised me with a celebratory cake and bottle of champagne! The rooms were very clean. The location is right across from the beach and many stores are within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again.

Fantastically located beachfront condo.
Easy check in and valet service (if you are bringing a car - a must)
Good size room (s) with a comfy bed and searing area.
Full size tub and good powerful shower.
Well appointed kitchen (with the exception of no kettle)
The only (slightly) negative thing was the aircon which struggled to cope to keep the room cool (if you are going in the full summer)
A well priced room in the heart of the Art Deco district -loads of bars and restaurants)
Recommended.

Had to double park to check in valet is off site. Was told they would arrive in 5-7 minutes But my car was ok double parked. 17 minutes later a tow truck pulled up to tow my car
I ran out drive around the block which took another 7 minutes still no valet
So I went in again. They said valet will be here in 5 minutes. Soi told them to cancel my room. She said ok. But of course since I booked through hotels.com I was charged anyway
I woill Never stay at this property again
I will NEVER use hotels.com again

We have stayed here many times as the location is excellent.
We didn’t like not being able to use the roof because of repairs.
There is no sound proofing between the rooms so we could hear our neighbours speaking very loudly.
No breakfast provided compared to a lot of other hotels but we had a hob, microwave and fridge.

Stayed here for three nights for Art Basel. They are currently doing renovations on the outside but I knew that when I booked. It didn’t disrupt my stay, just some noise during the day. Room was clean and comfortable. I’m not into the nightlife and I slept well with ear plugs. Very convenient location across the street from the beach and close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Kitchen was also well equipped. My room was HUGE and could easily accommodate a family of four. Amenities are minimal but I didn’t mind because my needs were simple. Staff was friendly and helpful. All in all a good stay.

Booked a room here just for a weekend and I have no complaints. The staff were all very friendly especially the manager Simone who used to reside in my homestate of New York. The room was very clean and spacious. I will definitely be booking a room here again next time I visit Miami.

Totally unacceptable! It was misrepresented by Expedia and the hotel. The room stunk. the hotel was in complete disarray and under construction. They were literally jackhammering outside my window. They would not refund my money and after being on the phone with Expedia for over two and a half hours they said it wasn't their fault. Hotel said we can't do it because it was to Expedia Expedia said we can't get a hotel to refund.

If you want to stay on Ocean Dr. but avoid the bar noise, this is a good choice. It's toward the northern end of South Beach and is in a quieter spot. It's also located only 1/2 a block from Walgreens which is a great spot to pick up snacks and booze.

Fantastic location for this boutique hotel
Very nice property. The bed was very, very comfortable. All staff were helpful and went out of their way to make it stay pleasant. Having a separate and spacious living area and kitchenette added to the comfort. The hotel was in an awesome location. Easy to walk everywhere: museums, restaurants, beach. I hesitate to mention any downsides, because they really didn't affect our marvelous stay, but the only windows in the unit looked out on a very close white wall. No view at all. The building next door had a very bright entry door light that shines right into the bedroom all night long. But seriously, from the wonderful staff to the location and comfort, we were able to easily overlook those issues.

Affordable 2BR suite on ocean drive!
We were looking for apts on a certain BNB website, but really wanted the amenities of the a hotel. There were very very few options of rooms that sleep more than 4 adults, but luckily we found the Crescent! We got a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom + a comfy sofa sleeper. This was a best location, right across from the beach and even has a cute rooftop for cocktails. The hotel was comfortable and clean and the staff very friendly. These suites are a hidden gem in SOBE.

Square footage is Not true
The two room suite at Cresent is a decent quality 640square foot room. However it is listed on Expedia as 850 square feet. This false advertising should not be relied on for choosing a room on expedia. Hotel desk person and concierge had no idea of the rooms square footage. When they were asked about room sizes, they expressed that all the rooms are the same.
