Stains on carpet
Unfortunately, our 2 rooms both had horrible stains on the carpet. After requesting the front desk to move us it took several "room changes" to finally find rooms without stains on the carpet.

Pretty not great
I just felt like this property didn’t want us there. There was no blankets for the fold out bed, no remote for the tv in the bedroom. When I called I was told if I wanted those things I needed to come to the office and get them. Which was an issue because I am disabled (which they knew because they had tried to put me in an upstairs room with no elevator access and had to switch the room to a downstairs room) and we did not have a map of the property. So my son and I went the wrong way and ended up walking down Scottsdale at nearly midnight trying to figure out how to get back to the office. When I asked for a map the man behind the counter held up a laminated one and told me to take a picture of it. Upon check out they told me to drop my keys into a box but I wanted a receipt so I stood in line again, and he told me a few times I was good to go and when I finally made it to the counter and asked for a receipt he told me he couldn’t give me one, that it needed to come from hotels.com which is totally fine but I didn’t like that he was trying to rush me out. Other than that, we had to rearrange the furniture to use the pull out bed (disabled, not easy to do) and the other bed was just above sleeping on a concrete slab. I wouldn’t stay here again.

It took over half an hour to check in, the first room we were booked in had not received housekeeping services between stays. The sheets, towels, etc. had not been changed and the whole room smelled like urine. We requested a second room and had to wait again to check in yet again. The ice machine was not working either

Disappointed
A kitchen area with no cooking or eating utensils, a broken tollet seat. On one day, the bed was not even made. On the positive side, the reception desk was courteous and the place was clean.
We will never return to this place and would not recommend it to anyone.

Totally average. I meant to book the other best western closer to the airport. It’s a weird spot for a hotel. But it did the job of putting a roof over my head for one night in a bed. They used a plastic mattress covering which made the bed feel weird and squeaked.

My home is in a quiet neighbourhood, so I asked for a quiet room. They gave me one away fro the road which is good but the hotel is under the flight pass of airplanes taking and landing at Skyharbour Airport. If I had known that I would probably have picked another hotel. the rest was average for what I paid (good value), but not outstanding.

A new staff person was being trained in. For a 2am check-in it was after tad slow, but everyone was kind and helpful. The bed was great and the room was immaculate. I'll stay here again.

I was a little unsure when i pulled up to the property. The exterior is not very appealing, but I was pleasantly surprised when i walked into my hotel room. The room looked like it was renovated recently. It has a modern look to it. It was clean and well kept. I enjoyed my stay.

Great value for a hotel in Phoenix. Our room was right next to the pool and was quite noisy. There was a mosquito in the room and the hot tube took along time to heat up. But I would stay here again

Hotel room not finished. Lights didn’t work. No dishes or utensils in kitchen. Sloppy workmanship on remodel. The bed was comfortable although you could hear metal clanking whenever you moved in the bed. The breakfast was good but there was no place to sit and seat it. It is a work in progress.

The pocket door to the bathroom was broken and stuck inside the wall. There was no privacy for using the shower or toilet.
We called the front desk several times and basically got nowhere. They said they would call maintenance but no one ever came.
Also when I checked in they couldn’t find my reservation and said my credit card had been declined.

Overall the facility is clean. Walls can be thin and noises from neighbor could be heard. Well lit parking area in the evening and after hours building access requires room key card. Complimenting breakfast is decent. Coffee, juice, yogurt, fruits, cereal, muffins, egg, potatoe (undercooked) and sausages.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, rooms were very clean when compared to other hotels, continental breakfast was nice to get you started, free onsite parking, comfortable rooms for a quick stay. There was some remodeling/renovating going on and you could smell the paint and miscellaneous but didn’t hinder my stay and think it is all going to come out really nice and be one people seek out. Thank you for the accommodations

It is a budget hotel. No questions. However, I liked the room and almost everything was perfect. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, but it was doable. Otherwise, everything worked great (TV, microwave, fridge), shower was great (hot water and good pressure), and it was clean (maybe needs a new coat of paint and some minor repairs here and there). I will stay here again.

This hotel is under new management and under major renovations . Clogged toilets flood your room with unsanitary water , lied to that you will have cable though they know they do not have service . Than when you want to change rooms they lie and say your the problem instead of their poor state of a hotel and management . Ps you won't get your money back either they will lie and find away to keep it !

Though property was under remodel our stay was great. Everyone was great from checkin to the FREE breakfast attendants. Our room was clean, smelled clean, bed and bedding were and smelled fresh and clean. Was a good as other properties that are $125 p/nt.

The staff was rude and very unprofessional. And I had to walk all the way around a building to get into a door because the front office was shut down due to maintenance work. The walls were freshly painted. There was plastic on just about everything and every entry way was blocked so we couldn't go out another way. And the second floor was off limits as well as the elevator. It technically shouldn't have been open with all the maintenance just in the office alone. Also was told my stay was cancelled and couldn't get a refund. I had to contact the third party which was Expedia and was very unsuccessful of getting a live person on the phone.

Must be one of the best at this price… surprised by some of the bad reviews considering it’s a budget hotel.
Clean & comfy bed, hot shower, free wifi, free breakfast, microwave/fridge/coffee machine in room… what more do you need?
The only downside is the building is like a maze and tricky to navigate. Not all elevators & staircases go to all the floors and its a nightmare finding another. Just needs some more signage really!

Everything is as cheap as possible without being problematic. The rooms need better blinds/shades, as the lights from the parking lot and common areas get in around every window, making it hard to make the room dark at night. The wiring in the room was a little suspect, with flip a bathroom switch and the lights in the bedroom flicker. Otherwise, a perfect average C experience for a lower price than anything around.

No issues with staff or cleanliness. Just not really confident in being a single female staying here. Seems a bit scary to travel alone. Also the most uncomfortable beds. I do not typically have back pain. I woke up daily with a sore back and random hip bruises from the springs.

We had to change rooms as soon as we arrived. One remote for both TVs did not work. 2nd room was dirty, not paper towels in kitchen or anything for that matter. Loud music for 2 nights. Called office, said they would call people above us, we don’t think they did. Called 2 more times, nothing… then the following morning, guess what? More loud bass music. Called office again ..

The hotel is in a nice location on N. Scottsdale Rd. The two gentlemen at the desk were very nice. Our TV did not work and they tried twice to come up and fix it. They offered us another room but we were already settled. The door to the bathroom did not actually fully shut, and the sliding doors on the closet were also broken. For the cost it wasn’t a great value, but it was a comfortable and safe stay nonetheless.

It seems the lobby area is being renovated so it appears as a bit of a construction zone but I’m sure it will be nice when it’s done. We were in an updated room with a fancy glass shower and cool lighting touches. The stay includes breakfast so I would say it’s a good value.

Property is under construction which affects the lobby. Also, they do not take payments like cash app, Venmo, PayPal, debit cards for deposit. However Expedia will take the payment for the room. So have a back up bank card for check in.

Didn’t have working cable, floors turned our feet black, had to request towels - doors didn’t seal properly to outside … it was an “ok” stay but could definitely use some TLC…. Hot tub also turned our fingernails green 😬

This hotel is super clean and comfortable and an amazing value when booked through Hotels.com! The location is convenient to lots of activities and is safe. The full breakfast includes eggs, bacon and sausage and a great waffle maker. Great value overall.

It was ok......
the toilet was plugged in our bathroom when we got there. we went to the front desk and told them, they gave me a mini plunger and asked me to see if i could fix it. We did it was right next to the very busy road so it was very loud in bed and the TV was not working so they offered to give us 10%off the room then we never got the 10%off. The room was very nice and had a big closet, and it was really clean

Pretty basic hotel, clean, good location, relatively safe and quiet.
Not the best service: no rooms were available at their check-in time, 3 pm, on a Friday afternoon, and I was really in a need of rest, I spent 30 min waiting in the lobby. There wasn't any apology for that. The TVs were out of service in the entire property, and they said I'd give me a discount. They were doing some construction in the afternoon when it's normal for people to take a nap. The blackout shades were poorly designed: there was a 1 inch gap, so they weren't really blackout, and there weren't any curtains, so the only options were: completely open without any privacy, facing the parking lot, or quite dark. The key stopped working at one point, and they couldn't fix it at the front desk, so it took extra time and hassle to deal with the maintenance person.
