Great hotel
Always a great stay at this location . The hotel is being renovated so not everything was available but thats ok . Only speed bump of the trip was the red wine stains on the sheets and pillow cases . Brings into question how clean the room really was . Hotel was quick to replace after being brought to there attention.

Ideal place to stay if going to events in Glendale.
Great, clean, bright facilty.
I do have one big gripe though.
Charging me $30 for checking in early was a filthy, NASTY cash grab. It made me feel bitter.
Like I wanted to steal $30 worth of towels in retaliation. This room was 500 bucks. It was ready. So just let me in. Or say it’s not ready yet.

For the price we paid we were highly disappointed. The fridge in the room didn’t work. The a/c would barely turn on to cool down the room. The staff at check in failed to tell us about the parking and the fee. Overall we were highly disappointed in this hotel. For the price we paid we expected better.

Beautiful and reasonably priced
Easily the most beautiful hotel we’ve stayed at! It’s still a work-in-progress, so please be mindful that you might very well be left without running water for a couple of hours during the day. But honestly, even with that, we really enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located near lots of shopping and dining options. Would definitely recommend!

CoJo Trip was EXCELLENT
Despite the remodeling, the Hotel is BEAUTIFUL and staff is wonderful. Employee, Dan, at the bar lounge was an artist in cocktail concoctions as well as VERY humorous. Made our stay very enjoyable!!

We stay here every time we’re in town visiting family. We had no idea they were in the middle of a remodel, the hotel was under construction. We had one of the new suites that are beautiful. We stayed in room 706 and it overlooks the parking lot of Westgate mall. The new rooms are really nice, the only complaint would be the lighting. Wish they would have had better lighting in the bathroom for getting ready.
The only complaint during our stay is that they charged us $694.88 when checking in for the incidentals when it was only supposed to be the regular $200. Also, the parking lot is $20 a day to park.
Overall the stay was great, loved that we could walk to the shops and restaurants and it’s close to the stadium and freeway.

The property is undergoing major construction and renovations. While booking, it did have a note saying some construction was happening but stated that all work was to happen in business hours only. We were travelling in the weekend and thought we should be okay and made the reservation. Unfortunately 7 AM on Sunday morning we were woken up by loud construction noise.
The front desk staff must be tired dealing with complaints because they seemed very short and irritable. The exception was Ms. King the front desk manager who tried her best to make us feel better.
Avoid for the next few months - construction noise, dust and smell everywhere. Many facilities not available.

I wasn't expecting the room I received. It was beautiful. The bathroom was not what I was expecting. It was very luxurious. Even with the remodeling construction going on, my stay was very pleasant.

The property needs to disclose They are in a major renovation that is a very inconvenience to all guest, which water gets shut off every day in the middle of the day or late morning when I guest would like to take a shower, also jackhammering happening from 9 AM to 6 PM, seven days a week !! Staff members somewhere very nice and apologetic, while others were rude and giving out false information and not accommodating

We stayed here in September 2022 and the hotel was amazing. Fastforward to November 2023 and it was a totally different story. The hotel is under renovation and we were not notified of this before booking. The beautiful open lobby and bar area was totally enclosed with construction walls and most of the tile area was bare concrete floors. We could not be in our room from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm due to jackhammering and drilling noice. We couldnt even talk to each other it was so loud. We had to call the front desk to complain about comstruction noise after 7:00 pm two of the three nights we stayed. So disappointing and we shpuld not have had to pay what we did to stay there. Do not stay here until construction is done. Horrible.

Had I known about the massive construction project going on during our stay, I would have chosen another hotel. We also had a screaming/ arguing neighbor one very early morning that woke everyone up. The room doors are so heavy that they slam if you do not hold them to shut. Also, was not aware that you have to pay for parking every night in the garage. Disappointed that this hotel was rated so high.

Well first off there is major construction going on inside the hotel. They tell it’s only from 9 to 6 EVERY day. Accept that’s not true we heard hammering until 8:45pm on Thursday night of our stay. And woke up Friday morning to more hammering at 7:50am. Called the front desk 3 times and they said they would take care of it, but it still went on after the 3rd call. Also on one night a bunch of kids were running through the halls and knocking on doors until 10:00pm. Again we called the front desk and told they would take care of it, but it continued. For $200.00 a night we should have saved our money and stayed at a hotel. I’m sure once construction is done it would be worth it, but not now!

Not a fun stay.
We got to the area around 1pm walked around the outlet mall, went and checked into the hotel at 4:15 and was told they are doing construction and the work from 8-6. Went up to room 426 to drop off bag and relax for a bit before dinner and there was no relaxing, the room/floor directly above us was under construction and we heard 2 hours of a saw and banging. So we left and went to dinner, got back to the hotel to sleep and right at 8 am the hammering started again. It was not relaxing at all to stay in this hotel. I understand remodels and updating to premises, but 1) inform guest before booking the hotel that it is under construction, and 2) don’t rent out the rooms directly above or below the construction floor. If I knew it was going to be like this I would have stayed somewhere else. Very disappointed, they tried to apologize before checking in by giving guests a “goodies” bag of gross Chex mix and a bottle of water. How about rooms for $50 because what we paid for the room was too much for not being able to relax in the room.

Overall this place was just ok. It’s really close to the arena next door and State Farm Stadium, but you’re paying for just that. They have construction going on and they start work around 8am, so be prepared to be woken up. The shower and sink in our room was clogged, or it was just the water pressure being really hard that the drains couldn’t keep up; literally had a pool in the shower. $250 a night was high for what we really got in the end, especially since we used it as a 12 hour pit stop to Vegas.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times. This time, when checking in they informed us that they were under renovations (in case we somehow missed seeing the 75% of the lobby that was walled off).
Informed that construction would "only" be from 9-5. Then at 8am sharp we were awoken by power tools.
Sad for what we paid. Should have been warned when we made the reservation _months_ earlier, not at check in.

The hotel is under construction
The hotel is under construction, they don't advise of this before hand, only at check in.
To charge for wifi and parking when drilling starts at 8am and work goes to 11pm is ridiculous considering it's the most expensive hotel in the area.
I'm sure it'll be beautiful when done, during the work concessions should be given to keep customers happy.

The property is beautiful, and well kept, staff is beyond helpful during my stay, due to having outpatient surgery and needing a wheelchair, the hotel door staff provided assistance with getting me inside and to the elevator doors where my friend met us after parking the car. The pool area was clean and spacious.

Hotel is convenient to Westgate however the property is being renovated. Lobby is just concrete lots of scaffolding and noisy construction. Property DOES NOT disclose the renovation so do not stay here if u are looking to get some rest.

This hotel had the potential to be a great stay. However, there was construction and the noise was horrible. We checked in after 4p and greeted by banging, when we entered our room. I was informed by the housekeeper and maint manager it would stop at 5p, it did not. Sunday Morning the banging and sounds started again around 9a I ended up contacting the front desk and she stated she would provide feedback to the Manager. She called back and stated the Manager said “There is no construction after 4 and no construction going on at the moment”… I informed her I would not make this up.. I didnt check in until after 4… and I took a video of the sounds that woke us up and were ongoing throughout the morning.
They ended up taking off the valet charge to apologize. I didnt want anything compd but it was a nice gesture. However, I just wish they would make it known before booking that renovations were taking place…

Checked in at 4:30pm and was told my room was not ready yet. They gave me a drink voucher to the bar as my room would be ready “soon”. An hour later I still had not been contacted that my room was ready so I went to the front desk and they forgot to call me. Ended up missing half of the opening band due to this. During checkout they had 1 valet working with dozens of people trying to get their cars. Waited 20+ minutes to get my car

We stayed the night for a concert at the stadium next door. Rooms were very overpriced for what they were. Shower didn’t get hot and we were awakened by construction going on above us in the hotel. Why would you have construction going on at 7:30am on a Saturday after a huge event as well as a holiday weekend!?

Head scratch, been to Phoenix lots of times to take my kids to University, always stress because I was getting bad Hotels, from now on Renaissance in Glendale will be my favorite place to stay, easy acces, clean room, good parking lot, food within walking distance, WE LOVE IT!!!

NO ROOM SERVICE BECAUSE OF THE EVENT THE NIGHT BEFORE AND IT WAS "TOO CRAZY' AS THEY TOLD ME. THIS HOTEL IS NEXT TO A STADIUM. YOU WOULD THINK YOU CAN ACCOMMODATE FOR THE HIGH VOLUME OF PEOPLE THAT STAY WHEN LARGE EVENTS HAPPEN.

The property was what I expected. Other than my reservation being for a king, which I greatly prefer, and them “running out” it was fine. You wouldn’t think the concept of a reservation would be that hard for them.
