When I checked I noticed many peiple hanging out in welcome entrance & many peiple coming in & out. It was explained to me that 96 people were put there by the goverment. She assured me I would have a quiet room so that I could work. Grabbed my key headed to my room only to seekids of all ages hanging out in the lounge, running up & down halls, people leaving their room doors open to hang out. I figured it was only one night. This would not be a problem. I could just go into my room, lock my door but to my surprise, there was no lock, it was broken off the door. In addition to that, there was a bunch of electrical wires uprooted from the corner under the carpet. Head into the bathroom where I noticed. The blinds were cut with peak holes, so you could see outside. There was no way for me to shut the blinds so that I could be safe and take a shower. In addition, the hair dryer was broken and unsafe. There was Mold on the bathroom ceiling. The heater was broke in pieces and Mold all around the windows. I thought about it twice and did not think I would be safe there or comfortable for the night. I gave her my key and checked out. I have contacted orbits and not sure if I will receive a refund or not. I do have pictures documenting everything I have said.

No service at all,I spend 6 days there not a good experience no cleaning,when I ask for towels the front desk tell me you have to bring your own towels not a good place so much noise day and night nobody cares

Comfortable and easy. Only negative is house keepers slamming doors and wish breakfast had proteins like egg or sausage but however I will stay again.

This place stuck so bad in the room the bed itself felt dirty and smelt super bad. It was just gross and the people at the desk would say give them a second because they were on the phone with like a family member or something. The surrounding area of the hotel was super sketchy and seemed like I was going to get jumped or something. It didn’t seem safe.

Hotel is half remodeled then they just gave up. Ice machine never worked. Breakfast was skimpy and they ran out of food and never restocked. Lots of very loud small children. Parents evidently never taught them what inside voices mean. Mini blinds broken. mini fridge on the floor.

Most disappointing breakfast ever. Cheating for w tea people in the room or using the pool is absolutely asinine. Every exit is an emergency exit with alarms. They make you feel like your in a really nice prison. Do not stay here. Their parking lot isn’t even appropriate. Everything about this was sketchy.

Pulled in to mass chaos with cops and firemen everywhere. There were easily 75 young adults drunks Dan high partying everywhere outside as someone pulled the fire alarm. The cops told me we should leave and not stay there. It was like nothing I’ve ever seen. Front desk hung up on me. We were scared to even get out of our car. Hotels is refusing to refund us and we had to spend almost 3x the cost on a different, much safer hotel. I’d be ashamed of how the front desk treated me as well as Orbitz

Don't judge the book. Checking was downright frightening - outdoor space unkempt, dirty, foreboding - front desk is like the Bates Motel. I almost turned around.
BUT - the hotel itself is then a surprisingly clean, airy, lovely space. Such a surprise!

The hotel had no record of my reservation with Expedia and had no available rooms for me to use.
There were at least 5 other people waiting at the checkin desk with the same issue. They had all made bookings through Expedia, hotels.com, or hotwire. All of them had "expedia confirmations" but none of us had a hotel confirmation number. Expedia needs to improve its process of actually ensuring the reservation gets confirmed through to the hotel before providing the consumer with the "confirmation" number.

The swimming pool and the area around it is very nice. This was probably once a very nice hotel, but it has fallen into disrepair and I’m afraid the current management and staff are in over their heads. The tv didn’t work—no one to fix it. The ac didn’t work—no one to fix it. The breakfast was skimpy and inadequate.

Very disappointing! Found hair on our clean towels. Couldn’t park in the garage due to maintenance. Even though the sign said one day. But we never saw any maintenance done and yet other peoples cars are in there. I try asking a question and really didn’t get an answer. Parking in additional parking felt unsafe. Left 2 days early.

Property was in very rough shape. The bathroom is in desperate need of a makeover. The carpets need to be cleaned. The pool was filthy. I missed the fact that it was a 4 star rated 2 star hotel. I don’t even know how it got that.

Very clean but dated property. Room had a strong odor of either cleaning product or maybe chlorine as room was very close to indoor pool. Gave me a headache. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was poor and limited in offerings. Hard to rate value for money now as everything has gotten crazy. For one night, overall, it was OK.

Worst hotel ever!!
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in!! Elevator was old and scary. Got off the elevator to find ladders and furniture blocking the way to our room, had to walk around everything. We decided to take the stairs when going back to the lobby but they were blocked by painters cloths. I wish now I had taken pictures and reported them. I specifically called ahead to ask about the pool and was told yes there was a pool to use. The pool had painters there working with ladders blocking the entrance to it, not to mention their tools and gear all around. The room was nasty, sheets felt like sand paper and the toilet flush was so loud it scared you. No coffee in the lobby, they said it was it the breakfast room. Nope, there wasn’t, nor was there any breakfast. I couldn’t get out of that hotel fast enough the next morning. Had to wait to drop off room keys as the front desk attendant was in a heated exchange with a customer. I wish I had never stayed there, I am not one to write reviews, good or bad, but this place should be reported.

The property is close to the I 95 which is what we use to get to the Boston LDS Temple in Belmont. The hotel is old, but pleasant and the staff is extremely caring and kind.

I am very disappointed... our room there was mold all over rhe bathroom ceiling...sink was broken.. all machines in building for drinks didnt even work... our outlets kept making zap sounds, pool wasnt open either .

Liked the low cost. Liked the underground parking. Staff was friendly. It was clean. Downside, common areas were poorly lit and uninviting. The rooms have a general feel of an older property that is being maintained but only adequately. Neither shabby nor spiffy, just adequate.

I booked this hotel for my 80 YEAR OLD MOM AND MY BROTHER, WHO DRIVE FROM NEW YORK TO ATTEND FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MY OLDEST BROTHER WHO JUST PASSED AWAY UNEXPECTEDLY, AND THE ROOM WAS FILTHY, THE TIKES IN THD SHOWER HAD MOLD AROUND THEM, AND THE TUB WOULD NOT DRAIN, I HAVE PHOTOS, AND IT IS JUST DISGUSTING TO STAND IN STANDING WATER FROM A SHOWER, THAT WONT DRAIN, AND MOLD CAN BE A SERIOUS MATTER, ESPECIALLY IF ITS AIRBORNE, SO THAT WAS LAST NIGHT WHEN MY MOM SHOWERED, SO THIS MORNING THE WATER HAD NOT DRAINED, SO MY MOM COULD NOT SHOWER, MY 80 YEAR OLD MOM WAS FEELING A LITTLE SICK, DO WE TOOK HER TO THE LOCAL EMERGENCY ROOM TO MAKE SURE SHE DIDNT GET SICK FROM THE MOLD, AND IM SO UPSET THAT MY MOM GOT ADMITTED INTO THE HOSPITAL, MY LAST WORDS ARE LAW SUIT AGAINST THE HOTEL, BE CAREFUL EVERYONE WHO GOES INTO THAT HOTEL

Good one night stay
It was a good one night stay. Comfortable room, but could have been much cleaner. Floor was dirty and bathtub had a few pieces of the previous guest’s hair. Breakfast was below average nothing to drink besides hot drinks. One positive was the employees were very nice and helpful.

Literally everything was wrong or off. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The manager said pool was open and it wasn’t just closed it was cautioned off and he had no idea. Whatever amenities that are on the website none of them are what they are advertised for. It feels like a converted prison with the way it’s laid out. Good luck

Hotel is right on a major road, and road noise was an issue. My particular room was maybe above or below a vending or ice machine, because at random intervals, there was a loud noise of that nature that was disruptive.

I wasn’t expecting much at $84/night, but I got worse. The reception area is creepy at best. The pool you see in the pics was surrounded by caution tape and inaccessible. Someone else’s hair was on the bed linens. Pretty positive the shampoo bottle had been used before. The breakfast was sliced bread with a tub of butter next to it, no jelly, a box of mini muffins from Sam’s club, cereal, and you could make a waffle. At least the dairy was refrigerated.
Be better, “PLAZA.” You’re in Bedford. I know you can’t do much about the old building with creep-factor layout, but if the hotel felt clean/well maintained I would not have left a bad review.

The place is dirty. The rug was sticky somehow. There was mold on the curtains and they are ripped. The bathroom sink was moldy. The room smelled like cigarettes. The room card holder was reused many times. The interior wall facing the hallway was a plate glass window. The pictures are misleading. This place is very dirty.

A majestic property in its day, but the day's over
Old properties can be charming and quaint, but they need love. This property was not one of these. The attention to detail was lacking nearly everywhere you looked, including every lampshade in the room being left badly crooked upon our arrival. The pool was murky. The hot water ran out. The elevator had no inspection certificate and was dicey at best. The staff seemed to think it was ok to yell to one another across the pool atrium, an absolute echo chamber that amplified everything. A paint job is not complete when you spackle the holes. And worst yet, a call at literally 11:03 (on a Sunday morning) informing me that it was check out time. I have never been hustled out of a property like that. Spend the extra 40 bucks and stay somewhere where at least it "feels" like they care. Because here.. they just don't.

I REGRET IT . There are so many hotels to rent and I came to rent this crap because they put nice photos and when you arrive it's totally the opposite. It's better to sleep under a bridge than in this filthy hotel.
It does not have good cleaning since you arrive at the hotel it is dirty, bad smell. The dirty rooms, the used dirty sheets, the dirty bathroom. Cracked and stained walls. The worst hotel. Do yourself a favor and go to another hotel and save yourself a headache.

No frills hotel
No frills hotel. The HVAC system in the room did not work. Only 1 attendant for the entire building. Elevators did not work and I was on the top floor.

I arrived late at night with a friend and (2) 4 year olds. When we got to our room, I went to lock the door behind us and noticed the slider lock/deadbolt had been broken off. We pushed a chair up against the door and had our pocketknife and billy club available, just in case. The next morning, the breakfast was very, very basic to say the least. That night after a very long day, I pulled back the shower curtain to shower and give the kids a bath and to my surprise the tub was so damaged I had to use shower shoes and would NEVER let my kid in there. Paint literally cracking and peeling off all over the inside of the tub. Not small chunks either. I could tell the hotel had some struggles and is trying hard to stay afloat. The manager on duty was very understanding and apologetic. He ended up giving us another room right down the hall so we could bathe the kids and sleep with a fully locking door. Staff was very minimal- but that is everywhere these days. Beds were comfortable though.

We had to use a town to cover one of the holes on the floor
We had a one year old this was the first place that didn’t have a crib. Breakfast options were very poor. There is more but I don’t want to get upset again!

This place was the worst I’ve ever stayed at, for a hotel! The beds were not cleaned. I mean if you lift the sheets. I heard the people behind the desk arguing about which room was clean. I breakfast was crap. Fruit was bad. Mean rotten fruit. Hot water In room was cold. Avoid if you can. Pictures are misleading. I fell for it. Shame on me.

Save the inconvenience. Very poorly run hotel.
This hotel does not care at all about their customers. They just take your money and treat you bad. The beds stunk, bath tubs were peeling, zero service at check in, lobby stunk, and my room had no towels. I asked for towels at front desk in person. Agent said they would bring them to the room. They never came. So I basically did not take a shower. This hotel is not worth $25 per night. Breakfast is as cheap and basic as can be. Should be a 1 star hotel.

the bedding was dirty and when we asked for a new comforter the man at the front desk told us no because the room was “neat upon check in” which it was despite a nasty spot on the comforter, stained sticky rugs and what looked like blood on the chair in the corner

We arrived at night and signage was a bit sparse as the hotel name is small and etched on the glass of the entryway. The building is painted a dark color with minimal exterior lighting so it doesn't stand out at night. There is unsecured parking in the garage under the building so at least you don't have to park on the street. The neighborhood is mixed commercial and residential a couple of miles from the highway. The rooms epecially the bathroom are fairly dated and could be newer. Previous repairs were noticable under thin coats of paint and the tile job was amature but overall it was clean. I didn't see any bugs or mold etc. The included breakfast was lacluster, just cold cerial toast and make your own waffles, no eggs or meats. Overall price was affordable but watch out for hidden fees when you book, I looked at two rooms that were the same price with different bed arrangements and one room had an additional $40 fee attached. The rooms overlook the indoor pool and breakfast area, so nice if you need to supervise younger guests, but everyone has to walk by your window when going down the corridor, so if you want privacy keep the curtain shut. The price was about $100 cheaper than hotels closer to Boston, so I took my savings and went to a nice dinner. There are multiple dining options in the area to meet everyone's tastes and budget. Overall It met my needs, I would stay there again, and recommend it if you are looking for an affordable place for a couple of nights.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The pictures made the place really nice , it was very run down . I believe the owners were trying to make improvements but I was very misconceived on the pictures on Expedia and what I got .. very disappointed with Expedia with not verifying properties with pictures

The room we were provided was dark, light not working, mouldy bathroom, bathtub was grungy and peeling plastic around the tub. Consequently, felt very unclean after checking out of this hotel.

The Bedford Plaza is an ok place to stay, but the hotel is in need of a MAJOR update. Parking, decor, clutter, infrastructure (like heating), cleanliness (eg, bathtub slick), and so on. My wife and I were fairly disappointed with our stay and will not be returning.

Staff was very nice, room was better than OK, but the hotel needs to be cleaned up in the public areas.
Also the breakfast didn't even have bagels or croissants, only regular brown bread. It could have been a little better.

Earnest Effort, Acceptable Affordable Place
This is apparently an old hotel under new (perhaps recent) management. While there were evidences of wear and tear, the room accommodation and the breakfast facility were acceptable to good (in our opinion). We believe that the current management is making an earnest effort to provide decent and affordable accommodations, and would consider staying there on a future trip to the area.

A mixed bag
The rooms were sound proof from each other, but you could hear a lot of road noise. The bathtub was full of mold. There was no desk. They filled up the empty coffee and coffee creamer quickly. But there was no butter or margarine for the pancakes and toast. There was fresh fruit. The beds were very comfortable. The selection of TV shows was paltry.

Comfortable
We stayed for a family trip. We love this place. Its close to everything, historical and city of Boston. Clean rooms, complimentary breakfast waffles. Check in was pleasant and easy. We like the pool. Staff is always friendly. Like staying at home but away.
