The Riverfront Location and Views are excellent. The property looks somewhat dated but clean and well-kept. Definitely a good value for the money if no-frills is what you are looking for in a hotel stay.

It was a nice area and would've been better if the building was more up to date. They need to get rid of all the mold and ants. The roof had mold and around the windows, which it definitely isn't good for our health. Also, the sheets had stains on them and found hair all over the bathroom.

Don't eat at the Hotel restaurant "Beef O'Brady's"
The Hotel itself was adequate. Lots of room and everything worked. The view East onto the St Johns River was probably the best feature. The worst feature by far was the "Eating establishment" called "Beef O'Brady's" which is located inside the Hotel. This is our experience: We were seated about 4:45PM. My Son and I ordered the "boneless" chicken wings and my Wife, the sauteed shrimp with steamed veggies. While we ordered at the same time, my Sons came about 10 minutes after mine. I could only eat about half the order before I began to feel I had enough (not because it was plentiful, but because the taste and the luke warm temp). My Wife began to feel queasy about 5 minutes into her meal and suspected the shrimp was rancid. I have to mention here that there were only 3 other "parties" seated in the establishment - so no obvious reason for the long wait, or inadequately prepared meal other than possible laziness or lack of proper training of the kitchen staff.

Southern hospitality plus
The staff was friendly and polite. The room was clean and had a great view of the river. What ever it lacked in the newness of the building it more than made up for in hospitality. Older yet still clean is still a good thing in my book.

Everything was okay, except we did not get a non-smoking room as reserved. I do not know if this is the fault of the hotel or Expedia. Luckily the room wasn't smelling, otherwise we would have had a big problem.

Weekend getaway
All of the employees we interacted with were extremely friendly and helpful. You can tell that both Charles and the woman who checked us in enjoy their jobs. I don't recall her name but she's from Jamaica and has only been there about a week. She'll be a great asset to the company.
Our room was just what we needed after attending a festival across the street during the day. Simple and comfortable. We appreciated the screens in the breezeways to keep the bugs down, being so close to the water. The view was still beautiful!

The property has been recently renovated and our room was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. The view and the grounds and the pool are right on the St. Johns River. Lovely stay for us!

It was a one night stay. The view it has was amazing. Had to call service desk because as soon as we went and went to the bathroom we were out of toilet paper there’s was hardly none in the toll. I’m not sure they believed me but I felt they thought I was gonna steal a roll. There was an empty tobacco case under the sink counter

I love staying here but the room was filthy. It was loud outside. The pool is green and full of algae. At least let us know if you’re not going to maintain the pool. I would’ve paid extra for the hotel across the street if I knew the pool was disgusting. Sorry

I was so happy to meet Ashley upon checking in, she was a breath of fresh air with a welcoming smile, interest in my day and trip. It really set the tone for a nice stay in what otherwise could have been a mediocre Inn. It was pretty clean over all but could use some updating. We come to the Palatka area often and this will be our new go to Inn

Very friendly staff! With a special shout out to Ms. D. Kelly our front desk manager! She went above and beyond to make sure the electric vehicle charger was up and running for us. My stay at the quality inn in Palatka Florida
They didn’t clean my room the whole stay and the bath tub was nasty , the room serve showed up my last day and didn’t even knock walked right in i had no clothes on i felt violated . When brought to the manager attention dami Kelly was very rude and nasty about it. They have really bad customer service at the hotel they have no consideration for there customers.

Great location in downtown Palatka, right at the bridge. The room was comfortable and clean. The sunrise over the water was beautiful!
The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast - eggs, sausage, etc. The pancakes were freshly made and yummy!

No dining facility, even though it advertises one. My room was dirty and outdated, and smelled like a cross between mildew and urine. Only one a/c unit seemed to marginally work, so the other half of the room remained uncomfortably warm. There was a strange noise coming from the pipes in the bathroom area that was constant and loud enough to keep me awake at night. Worst stay in a motel ever. I left early and had to forfeit a night because it was so bad.

The lady at the front desk that checked me in was beyond professional, however, when I checked out the next morning, the guy pretended to be clueless when I came to him letting him know that the refrigerator in the room the I had was infested with roaches, dead and alive. The refrigerator had not been cleaned out for not sure how long because some of the roaches were dead and frozen in the ice. Looks as if it was sprayed down for the bugs and left without ever cleaning it out. We had a baby in the room and we had did that went bad due to the refrigerator being infested with bugs. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at this hotel. And I’m still waiting for my deposit to be released back into my card and I checked out yesterday. Very disappointed.

Check in agent at the desk was not there - waited 15 minutes for her to come back, several people online. Was very unkind when I advised we were waiting. She could not find my name for a few minutes. I took out my phone and showed her the reservation (Dark and rainy night when we checked in) and I asked if this was the same hotel, she said very sarcastically, Well, that's our building now isn't it? I said I don't know, its dark and rainy and I can't really see it. Also Comforters on the bed were quite dirty. Pen marks and dirt, they were not clean at all. I was sent to the last building in the back, second floor.

Area was nice along waterfront. The restaurant was closed, and the one ladder entering the pool was roped off, the cement was breaking. I had bites all over my legs and arms after sleeping there the first night. they did switch our room, but we stripped the beds and sprayed them ourselves.

As soon as we checked in we found a few little ants coming out of the drain in the shower, behind the toilet, and in the sink. Then the morning before we checked out they were everywhere in those places. Also the battery operated door lock wouldn’t open with a key card the day we were checking out so a cleaning lady had to come let us in with a regular key.

The location is great closed to the springs. The view amazing. The room was good. the bed very comfortable and pillows as well. The bath was not very clean, we see hair in the floor and the bathroom ventilation was full of dust. We can't enjoy the view more because an alligator was there all day ; impossible to walk around the property.
