Hotel room is so nice. Very clean. I had ocean view room. Clevelander is a place to party. If you don’t mind hearing music noise this is your place. Happy people. Super friendly staff. Joel and Ana who works in front desk are so friendly. See you all in my next visit to Miami Beach

The property is great and beach front. Michelle at the front desks was the sweetest - she helped with everything and was very accommodating. The rooms are small and not convenient. The bathrooms are terrible. No desk space or counter space in the room. My room smelled like cigarettes - it’s a non-smoking room. Even tho it’s convenient to everything around South Beach, the music by the pool is loud and you can hear it up to 4am. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend to anyone.

I though that guess will have direct access to the pool area, but I had to go out and then make a line to get in as everybody else that is not staying in the hotel. Not any kind of special access for being a guest. Very disappointed. I could stay in any cheaper hotel around and do the same to go to the pool area.

Elevator had a weird smell. No oceanview although that’s what I booked . I requested clean towels and never received them. Disappointed with the amount of money I paid. I would probably never book here again .

I reserved it, knowing full well that it was going to be a party hotel and it was going to be loud. That was fine with me, and everyone there was fantastic. I was initially going to stay 4 nights, but decided to stay one extra night.

We arrived at the hotel on Friday. On Saturday we called them around 10 am to give us towel, and water. No body showed up. We called them again at 3:00 pm , they said they will bring it, but they didn't. We called them around 10 pm , we were out of towels, they didn't clean our room during our stay, nobody came up to give us towel. We were staying only for 2 nights. Whenever we called them for anything, they told us they will bring it, but they didnt.

You need to let people know this pool side of the hotel is very loud at night. Other then that everything else was nice. Minus the music from 9AM-3AM. They need to clean the rooms day to day more often. Especially if you have 3 night stay minimum

Good place for young party crowd
The hotel was conveniently located to everything. The front desk staff was very nice. The pool area staff not so much. We knew the hotel was a party place with loud music but the young crowd staying there were very inconsiderate and there was fighting and yelling until 3am in the hallways and in the room next door. They were slamming doors and we could hear the arguing and swearing what seemed like forever.

For the money I wouldn’t do that again. Every time the a/c turned on it sounded like someone was opening the door. Pretty jarring. Ocean view not really the best “view”. Overall ok but to expensive for what it is.

This "hotel" is really a motel. It's for youngins to go party for the weekend. No AC. Place was filthy. The room was a shoe box with a toilet in your face. Definitely not a place to want to go and relax with some amenities.

The property is near the end of the strip and there is a lot of fun to be had. If you’re not so interested in the loud music and party atmosphere , and you’ve booked a room, the staff is more than accommodating to your needs. Chris& Michelle hooked us up at their sister hotel and it was perfect! Staff was super friendly and very kind. They are happy to do their jobs. Thanks a million!

Simon, the front desk agent was the highlight of the stay! He ensured that the information relevant to the property was thoroughly relayed. He instantly recognized my guest status upon check in and provided the gift as such. We did encounter a few room issues that should be noted and fixed…two irons and one board had to be replaced due to not working and the shower water took at least 20mins to go from lukewarm to hot. Simon made a couple of calls to get the iron/board replaced but it took housekeeping approximately 30mins to remedy the issue.

Upon arrival staff was super nice both rooms were very clean the complimentary drinks were great if you want to party without kids this is your place but dont expect to much quiet time as you are in Miami to party not to sleep karaoke night was fun and funny thank you for the great hospitality

Pros: 1) All the front desk workers were professional & helpful. Michelle really stood out in her attentiveness to the comfort of our stay. She explained everything well at check in & answered any questions or requests.
2) Walking distance from the beach because the hotel sits right on the strip. 15 min to beach chairs for the hot
Cons: 1)Hallways needed cleaning. Although, we did see the cleaning cart outside the room next to us on Tuesday, we never saw any cleaning staff cleaning any of the rooms or hallways during our Sunday- Thursday stay. I didn’t call to complain but there was small trash around the crevices of the bed. It was very visible & should have easily been seen when the bed was made. We went down the street & bought disinfectant wipes & Lysol spray to re-clean everything.
3) The ocean front room we were in (202) was very small & we had to request most items that are standard at other hotel such as ice, ice bucket, refrigerator & microwave. You have to go downstairs for coffee because there’s no maker in the room. There’s one small chair and a bed in the room. There’s no type of table or dresser. The room was ocean front but you don’t see much of it. The bed position hinders the view.
3) The walls are paper thin!! You could clearly hear the next room’s conversations even at normal volume. The music from the club/ restaurant is another issue. It doesn’t stop until 2am.
Overall, we won’t stay here again. This hotel wasn’t a good fit for us.

I loved everything about the Clevelander Hotel. It was clean, the rooms were cute, staff was friendly and the complimentary items were a plus. The staff was eager to help and the on-site bar and club was amazing. The location is the best. It is in the heart of south beach and around everything. I will definitely be staying again when I go back to Miami.

Great location! The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately when we tried to check in there wasn't anyone behind the front desk for 15 minutes. Also when we got to our room there wasn't any towels in our room.

One of the worst hotels and customer service I’ve ever experienced. The bathroom itself was horrible, no barrier in the shower, so the entire bathroom floor was wet daily. The pictures on the website of the rooms are deceptive. I was told a lot of lies before arriving to Miami, the hotel is just overpriced and didn’t deliver.

When checking please look at your bed linen. Our was dirty upon arrival. No way the sheets have been washed in months. You had to beg daily for towels. Stayed six days asked for cleaning and no one came...ever.

The rooms are so small that there was no dresser for clothes or lighting for the room. The bathroom access was blocked by a toilet. The window faced the DJ booth which has a pool party from midnight to 4 am literally outside the window so it is nearly impossible to sleep. The single elevator was out of service at times. It is a beautiful location and the manager was very helpful and nice when we checked out early after only 1 night. Unless you are under 30 AND looking to party until dawn, there are better choices on Ocean.

The lobby of the hotel was plain and boring, we were not offered the free drinks as offered but did get when we asked. The pool is half covered by a dance floor that doesn’t come off so it pretty much unusable not like the pictures. The restaurant on site (at the pool) staff was extremely lacking the staff was very slow and never came back with change when given a 100$ bill for a 50$ check our waitress was Jessica terrible, location was good though

The shower leaked into the bedroom and the whole floor was wet. The front desk was notified and they said someone would come. No one ever came. Then, the phone lines were cut off. They did not clean the rooms and when we called at 7pm, they said it was too late.

TERRIBLE! Worst stay in my life!!! very small rooms, no table, no mirror, no chair, no coffee, no refrigerator, Nothing, only the bed and very tiny bathroom, no space to move , there was a lot of noise in the hallway front of my door, also music under your room window till 5 am, can not sleep. Very rude guy in frontdesk. And I just checked out immediately next day. NOT recommended !!! Only outside space is good for chilling, but do NOT stay in the hotel. Even 1 star is too much for this place! BAD! BAD! VERY BAD!!!

MY OVERALL STAY WAS GREAT I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE BEACH & PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS AND BARS IS VERY VERY CLOSE, ONLY FEW THINGS I DIDNT LIKE WAS NO MICROWAVE NO FRIDGE AND NO BATH TUB ONLY A STAND UP SHOWER AND WATER WOULD BE ALL OVER THE BATHROOM FLOOR, BUT MY OVERALL STAY WAS COMFORTABLE I SLEPT GOOD EVERY NIGHT..

This was a decent hotel however some things made no sense. Half of the pool was closed off which didn't aesthetically look pleasing. It didn't appear cleaned on a regular. The roof top needs renovating and someone to work at the bar as well. There are no fridges in the room nor can u bring water to the pool area due to security. The beach chairs that they claim u can receive for free are no where near their hotel.. But the manager was very helpful and

It’s an ok hotel. The staff is nice. Unfortunately, one staff member was not properly groomed, having lots of dirt under his nails every day - unacceptable in the business of hospitality.

We certainly understood what an adult only hotel meant, we did not understand that meant party/bumping music around the pool until 3AM! And, our room was directly above the partying. Now, I know the location is PRIME PARTYING for South Beach, but the music & drunks were a bit too much for us!

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. If you value rest do not stay here!!! After one night I forfeited my last night’s stay to move to another hotel! Music is loud from 1-2 in the afternoon to 3am. The bathroom was like a disco with lights flashing all night. Staff are super rude and unhelpful.

Absolutely Expedia should not represent this property…my expectations weren’t met on any level. Incredibly disappointed for the money spent including an up grade.

Check in great but then went downhill
The gentleman who checked us in was excellent. Very friendly informative and efficient. Unfortunately the maintenance staff walked into my room without knocking and then continued to deal with trying to replace safe until I asked them to return once I checked out the next day. Workers in hallways extremely noisy all day and early morning. I know this is a party hotel but the walls are very thin! My mattress needed to be replaced. Hotel restaurant was horrible. This is the first bad review I have ever posted.

Of course I love the location, and the staff was very friendly. We stayed in the standard room, the room was very clean. The only issue is, the bathroom is so small. There’s no fan in the bathroom, and no way to crack the window. That being said, the hotel hallways always smelled like poop. In addition, the bed was so uncomfortable that partner and I hardly got any sleep during our vacation.

The staff at the front desk were amazing. However, we went 3 days with no room services or cleaning services. Very basic hotel. No.perks and property was not worth the money. Beach where you have access to chairs and umbrellas is a 20 min walk away

Two day stay in SOBE post two week cruise over holidays. Hotel is on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach where the action is located. This is a horrible hotel with very misleading photos. Slow and not so helpful staff, unable to check in until after advertised checking time, no house keeping or clean towels, worn out and dirty furnishings in room. No drawers or shelving, have to keep everything in suitcase. Resort fee of $40 per night added to already excessive room charge. Not worth the stay even though very central to good restaurants on Ocean Drive. Walls between rooms too thin, could hear everything on both sides even though we were in their “best room”. Will not be staying here again. Recommend other hotels on Ocean or Collins. We’ve previously stayed in others that are much better value with equal location to the “good spots”.

Short vacation getaway
We had a great time for a short getaway in Miami. Christian was very helpful at the front desk and we enjoyed the hotel. It is close to so many restaurants and clubs, plus the beach. Definitely would stay there again.

Small rooms no microwave or fridge bathroom was in old closet small narrow not impressed with the fact cleaning person opened door after one knock and then closed it and left smh also charged me for $25 additional person charge and I had explained they couldn't make it so no refund on that and they closed outside bar at 10pm on a Saturday night also valet parking was $45 hourly

Fun place to stay! Precious and Desantis at front desk are amazing people. Music almost all day. Dance Club attached, clean modern rooms, nice front porch to sit and look at the views. The Baby’s Guava Bread Pudding is amazing, thanks Sophia for recommending.
