The staff were extremely friendly as soon as i walked in the door. The welcome bag and continental breakfast delivered to your door were a really nice touch, a little something that you really remember. We got comp upgraded to a townhouse room and it was incredibly clean room. Wonderfully amazing to be able to roll out of bed and have your coffee on the balcony looking over the harbor. Stayed the MLK weekend it has got to be the ultimate stay in the summertime in newport.

Lovely quaint hotel. Friendly staff. Complimentary sangria and a bag of treats at check in. Delicious breakfast delivered to the well appointed room. Comfortable bed. Carpet a little warn but otherwise nice room. Excellent central location. Church bells heard on the hour were charming but could wake a light sleeper.

We didn’t stay at Mill Street, they had construction so they changed us to their other property The Brenton. All staff was fabulous, parking was easy, decor was beautiful and beds were comfortable. Need to give another shout out to great staff!!

The property was in a great location. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was a good size. We were welcomed with a bag of delicious goodies. The breakfast was continental with a number of choices that were delivered to your room at your selected time. Overall a wonderful experience. Would definitely stay again.

We just stayed for a special anniversary and really liked the duplex room with the fireplace, balcony and king bed. The sitting area was good for our daily breakfast delivery. Everything we were looking for. Close to shopping and restaurants, Art museum. We will return.

Ditch the corporate hotel and stay @ Mill St Inn! Staff were friendly, helpful, and always at the desk ready for you. The room itself was spacious, spotless, modern, and had a balcony with a harbor view
After staying at MSI, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.

Very quiet and quaint hotel. Loved we had a separate seating area from the sleeping area and the spiral staircase was so cute. Roof top balcony gave great bay view. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

A two night stay as part of a tour of the New England area. Great hotel, lovely staff and very comfortable. My only negative comment would be around our room, 107, which suffered a lot of noise constantly from a boiler or suchlike behind or under our room.

We just loved The Mill Street Inn. The staff are warm and welcoming. It has the feel of home comfort without the hustle and bustle of a ‘hotel’ feel - yet it is nicely upscale and snazzy. It was perfect! Thank you for a fabulous Newport vacation!

Sample loft living at the Mill Street Inn. Brick walls, tall ceilings, wood beams, spacious room with track lighting. The bed was great, the bathroom was great, and the staff were awesome. Barry greeted us with two gift bags that contained treats from local suppliers. Every evening select what you wish room service to deliver for breakfast. There are two urns in the spacious lobby with sangria and fruit water. Close enough to walk to town and the wharf. Park in the Inn’s own lot on site. What more could you want?

Our stay at the Mill Street Inn was incredible. It is right in the heart of Newport allowing easy access to all of what the town has to offer. The rooms are a mix of old age character with modern amenities and were spacious and clean. Our front desk attendant Lori was incredibly kind and helpful and made our stay that much more enjoyable. Overall great experience I look forward to staying here in the future!

This place is always our top choice for Newport. The front desk staff & service is the best!!! The quality of the provided amenities- welcome bag, sangria and water, organic food items and gluten free for breakfast are fresh and healthy , the nespresso maker and tea pot with quality brand name odd and tea bags are amazing! Free water bottles etc… only issue we had this time around was the room was a bit in need of repair cosmetically. Headboard was ripped/scratched up & bed is very squeaky when u move… small things just seem to need replacing. That’s all. We LOVE this place tho!! We’ve stayed multiple times!

We had such a wonderful weekend at Mill Street Inn. It was clean, comfortable, and staff were very nice and made us feel at home. The room was very nice and the amenities exceeded our expectations. We loved the roof top lounge area and the complimentary sangria each day! The breakfast options were simple but delicious. The location can’t be beat as it’s a 4 minute walk to Thames Street and the boat/restaurant area. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future! Love this place! We really enjoyed our stay! When we arrived, the hotel gave us a small bag of treats! Breakfast was a high point and was delivered in the morning based on preferences that we checked from a menu the night before. We highly recommend it!

I almost don’t want to share how amazing my stay was here for fear of others loving it too and making it more expensive and difficult to book! Hahaha! This place was amazing. Very unexpected from the exterior. The rooms were well kept and homey. Staff went above and beyond to answer any questions and both women I interacted with on my stay were so friendly! Can’t wait to make another trip to that area to stay.

Adorable, large room, with a cool old brick wall. Our room faced a cool old church. Friendly staff, easy to walk to the trolly (free) and the downtown area. Breakfast included, which you selected the night before and they delivered at your desired time. Would definitely stay there again.

Very clean and great location. Staff was excellent. Only issue for us is no elevator. 2nd floor room took 2 long flights to room and the 2nd floor room was a townhouse with living area on first level and bedroom and bathroom up another flight. I woukd have asked for first floor room had I known.

Probably the best stay we’ve ever had! Rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy. Loved the addition of couch and dininf table. Felt like we were staying at an apartment. Complimentary breakfast was a plus! Great location near everything and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved the free sangria!! 10/10 recommend you won’t be disappointed!

This inn is centrally located to most things that Newport has to offer. Everything is pretty much in walking distance. The only thing you have to be aware of is that they have a limited amount of parking spaces. Even though the inn was full it wasn’t a problem as there was free parking on the street still. Once the busy season starts it could be an issue.

We LOVED it here. The room is so adorable. We loved the water and sangria in the lobby. We loved the way they did breakfast Parking wasn’t the best cause the garage is a bit tight BUT park the car at the beginning of the stay and walk. Everything is in walking distance and the area is great. The staff was SOOO nice and welcoming too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We will definitely be returning!!

Loved the Townhouse Suite! The fireplace warmed us up after getting caught in the rain, and while we didn’t have the weather for enjoying the deck, it would be a great amenity for warmer weather. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Mill Street Inn. Great location, the room was very clean and comfortable, but above all, the attention to detail was so amazing! We appreciated the small welcome bag, the personalized welcome letter in our room, the beverages available in the lobby, and the included breakfast was delicious! These little touches added up to a really fantastic experience - highly recommend. We'll be back!

My husband and I have stayed here several times. The hotel is clean. The staff is friendly, professional and welcoming. The hotel provides fantastic amenities such as a welcome bag full of goodies from local companies, and complimentary drinks in the lobby and the gym. Breakfast is included. Items such as fresh fruit, boiled eggs and baked goods are delivered to your door. The hotel provides free parking and is close to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

Dreamy stay!
My husband and I had a spectacular time. We stay at many places in Newport but we will become regulars here. Breakfast was perfect, Nespresso in the room was so unexpected and awesome, and the room was immaculate. We had a gas fireplace and it heated up the room so nicely! The new from the porch was lovely and the front desk staff was so kind. Free extras like sangria and popcorn just made it extra special and worth the price.

Absolutely lovely! From the moment we checked in, the staff could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious and every detail was perfect. From the filled water carafe in the room, the huge umbrellas in the lobby ( which we needed ) to the goody bag filled with local treats, robes, slippers…just made this a wonderful stay. We plan on visiting again and will definitely choose the Mill Street Inn as our home away from home.
