Sketch but ok
I was concerned at first bc on the outside it looks a little sketchy, but the actual room itself was not bad. No toilet paper, no shower curtain when we got thete, but the room was clean though and had no bugs so thats grear. My children felt safe. The structure of the property is interesting. You can not pull your car up to your room door bc all the rooms are located on the inside (yet its still outside) of the building. Walking through the place you may hear someone uncessarily loudly getting their back blown out but thankfully i couldnt hear it much once in the room.

Noisy. People using the ice machine right outside my door at all hours and that train seems like it is going to come through the room at all hours of the night. Literally got very little sleep.

It’s next to train tracks. So be ready for the horn. That should be the first thing in every review. Second not a good area. So if you just need a quick place to sleep and nothing else is available ok. I asked to use the restroom once there while looking for another place. The guy said “well you don’t look like you’ll be doing drugs in there so ok”. That pretty much tells it all.

Worse experience of my life couldn’t even sleep there had to cut my trip short ! The room was extremely filthy, the train was a big problem and I just didn’t feel safe at all so I left and wasted my money .

Out-dated, terrible place to stay.
This is the worst place we have ever stayed. It is a "non smoking" room with cigarette burns along the side of the bathtub that has no drain cover. The tub drain was plugged with a small, open, (round) tub of lotion. There was no coffee pot, shampoo or conditioner. Thankfully we only need a room for one night. We took bed bug precautions with our luggage, etc when we got home. Train horn is very loud. Sounds like you are right next to it.

Yikes!
It was in a very bad part of town. Thank God they had security walking around at night. There are abandoned buildings and homeless people walking thru the parking lot. The beds were clean. The bathtub looked like they got it out of one of the abandoned buildings out back. There was a huge cockroach in the room that I mistook as a mouse. People at front desk were very nice!

Sleepless, and horrible stay.
Actual rooms were not as advertised. Small TV, full size bed vise queen, tub had a lot of chips, broken shower handle, bed sheet had yellow stains, pillows stank, unable to sleep due to train. Finally and more importantly, we feared for our safety, guest fighting and police activity in the area. Definitely never recommending Motel 6.

Scary place
Scary part of town that we had no clue about. Loud people all night, slamming doors, banging it’s seemed like on walls. Right next to train tracks, just an fyi. We did not feel safe at all for our one night stay. Had to move vehicle closer because if didn’t feel safe.

DON'T BOOK HERE!!
I would never stay here again. First it is not 9 mins from the stadium or else it would be cleaner, renovated, because it needs it, more inviting because the homeless people where allowed to come in and out of the gate by our room. There were roaches in our room, in the shower and bed. Dog hair in the 2nd bed. Clearly this room wasn't cleaned at all. This motel is not like the other Motel 6 we have stayed at. Even the one in Hollywood was cleaner than this one. It needs a major renovation.

Sheets felt like sand paper.
Police knocked on a neighboring door 1:30 AM.
A smoke alarm was chirping all night and we could hear it in our room.
Our alarm was chirping when we got there we were handed batteries to fix it.
Did not feel safe. Way over priced for this room.

Arrived to our "smoking" room and there were cigarette burns in the sheets. To their credit the "manager" immediately with no issue upgraded our room to non smoking but we were still unsatisfied with the conditions of our room. We checked out 2 hrs in to our stay and did not even stay the night. I do not want to dogpile with negative comments so that people seeing this review take it as a bitter unreasonable guest's opinion but sketchy area, sketchy random people in the parking lot around cars.

The location was unsafe As I was taking my stuff off my car. A gentleman came up to me and ask me for money. And anyone can go in and out the facility because the gate is always open. and the shower was dirty, the shower curtain was falling apart the shower Faucet leat the water out when showering.

This property in Glendale AZ was a good price and was centrally located close to many good restaurants and shopping choices, as well as a short ride from State Farm Stadium. However, this particular Motel 6 was currently recieving an update on many of its rooms, which means some of the facilities in said rooms were not up to par or flat out did not work. The beds were clean, the AC worked and the pool was warm, just be aware of the updates taking place inside the rooms.

Very friendly staff. But room 266 needs fixing. The electronic door key swipe did not work properly numerous times. Took me 5 to 10 mins to finally getting the key swipe to open the room door. The sink is severely clogged. The bathroom floor was really dirty.

The bathtub was chipped all over. Bathroom door did not close. Roaches were present due to big gap under the main door to the room. Rude front desk manager. Beds stunk like feet with the sheets looking like they were not washed. Me and my wife had no other option but to stay there. Never again! We felt so dirty in the bed that we woke up earlier than usual just shower, check out and leave. Do Not Stay Here. They give Motel 6 a bad reputation.

When we arrived to check in, the staff said they didn't have our reservation, even though I had the confirmation on my phone. They said they called the day of the check-in, but I never received a call, so they just canceled my booking. Other than that, the room was serviceable but showed incredible wear. Additionally, a train track close to the motel will frequently blow its horn, even at night. Incredibly poor stay overall.

Not the best and not the worst.
There was hair in the tub when I got there and dirty water marks along the bathroom door. The ac unit made an unruly amount of noise. The bed was very uncomfortable. The pool wasn’t clean and the parking lot was full of trash. I would say unfortunately this was a place that you get what you pay for.

When we checked in there was police present , and swimming pool was not available for at least 24 hrs. At the end of the day we paid for what we received , the room was nice and clean , only after dark there was alot of noise and activity around the hotel

The Hotel is open to anyone to enter the hotel area without any restrictions and your car is also at risk.
The place is not safe at all, the staff is not nice and that because everyone who goes there are not nice as well.
I asked the staff to returned ky money, the heavy smell of beach of the entire room was too strong that I got dizzy, for a no smoking room and cigarette burns in all furniture is disturbing.

I accidentally rebooked my stay for a more expensive room than I was in and the general manager said I can't check in because I did it wrong and kicked us off the property after calling the cops on us and now this morning trying to check in at a different motel 6 me and my boyfriend are registered on their national do not admit check list. BECAUSE I PAYED MORE THAN I WAS SUPPOSED TO FOR MY ROOM. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?? DO NOT STAY AT MOTEL 6 EVER AND EXPEDIA REALLY NEEDS TO STOP OFFERING THEIR LOCATIONS. EXPEDIA PROVIEDS SERVICE THAT IS WAY TO HIGH QUALITY FOR MOTEL 6 TO BE APART OF THEIR PLATFORM, IT WILL RUIN COSTUMER RELATIONS.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming, I absolutely love staying here. There is so many wonderful shops nearby in Historic Glendale close enough to walk, this property has excellent location for enjoying the local area. will definitely stay again!

Check in was ok at first until we were told to book another room. I was about to leave when another staff member was polite enough to let my kids and I stay in one room. The property is old, the door to our room was loose, pillows were clumpy, not even any Kleenex and the bathroom sink was at an angle, maybe it had broken... I would not stay here again but I am grateful the one worker was polite enough to understand we were tired and just needed a night's rest.

All in all, it’s a Motel 6. Nothing extravagant by far, and fair (for the most part) on price.
A large freight train directly behind the motel travel multiple times a day, and while you may be out traveling or enjoying nearby activities, the train will pass at 3am and make itself known.
Plenty of shady characters passing through the parking lot at night (again, it’s Motel 6).
I had a non-smoking room, but unfortunately the smell of cigarettes tainted the entire property.
I got what I paid for, and thankfully I wasn’t there for most of my stay in Arizona.

This motel was disgusting! I have never stayed in such a dirty, poorly kept hotel/motel ever, and there were cockroaches in the tub when I got up in the morning. The phone did not work. The walls and bedding were filthy. There was no refrigerator or microwave in my room but there were both in a room where friends were staying. For the money spent I would have thought I would have had a better room.
I booked this room because it was close by to a funeral I was attending. I would strongly suggest that no one choose this Motel 6 as a choice...ever!!!

Very dissapointed
Don't accept room 264. Bugs at night. Mold in ceiling. Broken light switch. Curtains dirty, broken rod attachments, One of the two doors to the next room missing can hear everything in next room, shower handle falls off. Also train very near by, blows horn often every pass.
Asked for and received a different room 2nd day. Was better but still pretty worn out but no bugs seen. Also homeless inside trash bin in parking lot digging for items.

The Mitel 6 in Glendale, Arizona was the worst 2 nights I have ever experienced in a motel. I woke up around 2am and there were tons of roaches all over the floor and in the bathroom tub full. Tried to notify the front desk and the phone in the room wasn’t even working it was like a fake phone with no phone cord or anything to make it work. They gave us a $40 credit for the night for the inconvenience so we gave them a chance our second night was even worst. They put us in a room on the second floor of the motel I have a special needs son in a wheelchair and there was no elevator and they said there were completely booked we had no choice. That room was worst there were roaches and the smell of cigarette smoke was terrible in the room. You pay for what you get.

I traveled to Glendale to attend event at Glendale Civic Center. Motel 6 seemed to be in great location across the street. It looks nice in the pictures. In reality, the motel is in deplorable condition with peeling paint, dim lighting, rip in security gate. . . Gate doesn't shut automatically posing security risks. Particularly hazardous is staircase to the second floor as it is very poorly lit. Room also stank of toxic cleaning chemicals. Not able to air it out. Property is alright if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep. Not in the best area, at all. Arrived on the property to find two women arguing in the parking lot. There was a dog that barked the entire time we were there. Room was okay. Found that the telephone line in the room was completely cut through. I would pay extra in the future to stay somewhere else. Don’t think the price is really worth what you get.

Camping without Gear would be better
Absolutely the worst night. It would have been better to camp in a field with no gear. Bugs on the floor, mattress was extremely thin and the springs poked through. Walls had holes and scrape marks throughout. Walls were paper thin and you could hear the neighbor screaming and spanking her kids until 1 am. The train also passes through the area about a dozen times and as it does it blasts it's horn several times. The desk clerk listened to what I had to say but refused to do anything about it. We left after only being there a couple hours but they still charged us. Absolutely the worst. I felt like I was back living in a third world country.

Location is terrible, train tracks run not far from it so you hear them all night. WiFi was super unreliable and when I called the front desk about it, they simply said it was weird and that they couldn’t access it. A guess on another room found herself locked out of her room at 2:30am and was banging the door and yelling trying to get in her room and it took more than an hour to find a solution for her. Needless to say, it was impossible to go back to sleep with all that noise.

Room was just a bed and table. Walls were dirty and run down. Floor was run down also with dents. The tv kept powering off and not much channels to watch. The gate was always open even though I was given a gate code. My stay was just overnight and didn’t spend much time inside the room.
