Close to everything, downtown and the beach. Friendly staff, large 2 bedroom condo, ac, large kitchen and outdoor areas. Access to towels and chairs for the beach. Use of sister hotels pool was great. No housekeeping but anything we needed like extra towels were easy to get.

I really liked this place more than I thought I would. The property is nearby shopping and restaurant area. There’s an ABC store at the bottom of the hotel, Japanese restaurant and few steps from Lahaina, best shaved ice. You can walk to high end stores within minutes (LV, Hermès’, Gucci, etc) and other known restaurants like Tommy Bahama, Ruth’s Cris, Yard House, Maui Brewing. NO freaking resort fee!! No daily cleaning either which I’m fine with since I don’t need that. They’ll provide extra towels, toiletries, trash…as requested. There’s also a laundry place within the building. You have to reserve your parking ahead because it’s very limited. Don’t get a big car if you don’t need to as parking is tight.
Our room 94 was fully equipped with full size fridge, microwave, stove, toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker, etc but I don’t recommend this for 4 ppl as the pull out sofa bed is AWFUL and the bedroom bed is not that great either. It’s okay, not great. There’s no fan or AC inside the bedroom so it gets pretty warm. That’s why it’s 4 stars, because of the beds. All in all, this unit is seriously due for an upgrade.
The staff at this place are so nice and friendly! Zach at the front desk was so helpful, nice and knowledgeable of the area. Rebecca, the manager was understandable and nice. The cleaning staff, Marie and Eva and Eloy were so nice and accommodating! All in all, I highly recommend this place but manage your expectations.

Nice boutique hotel.
The location is very convenient. The living room furniture was not very spacious, nor comfortable. The view of the Friday night fireworks was an added bonus.

It’s small nice appartment close to the beach and have access to swimming pool to the outrigger resort
I had a good stay with my little family the kitchen was perfect I saved money there as u know Hawaii is expensive . My routine was everyday going to a new place or beach back around 3 pm eat have a nap then kids wants to go to swimming pool after that walk just behind hotel a really nice street for ice cream .:) I will go back there sure

Nice budget condo
Even though there is no pool onsite, we got to use the pool at the Outrigger Reef Waikiki just about 1/2 block away. Also the Italian restaurant was closed the whole time we were there.

The only negative to me would be housekeeping. It would be nice to have house keeping daily. When I'm on vacation and paying good money to stay at a nice place... i woyld like to come back to a clean room.

our family of 4 stayed for a week. My kids loved this place. it like you live in an apartment. It has a stove, microwave, big fridge, blender that you can do drink.
We went to places during the day, got home afternoon, sat outside the balcony enjoyed our snacks, and watched the sunset. So pleasant and truly a vacation.
Plus the staffs are so friendly and so helpful. Especially, Jacque (Zack). He is awesome and excellent customer services from him. Absolutely, we will come back and stay again at this hotel.

The under the beds need to be cleaned from previous renter’s trashes. For our 6-day stay, no cleaners came yet the cleaning fees for the whole stay is expensive at $300plus.

Location was good,building is aged but well maintained, service was excellent as was the staff.
Only complaint...on the first night we discovered the sofa bed was broken, night clerk said nothing could be done until the next day so our 2 young boys had to really rough it out sleeping on the floor. Next day it was fixed and the clerk said he'd talk to management about compensation ,like free parking but so far nothing has been offered and we still paid for parking plus a cleaning fee. Because of the EXTRA FEES,I would NOT RECOMMEND staying here. There are many more similar hotels that DO NOT charge these extra expenses.

This hotel was great for my family of 5. The two bedrooms allowed us to have plenty of room to spread out in. By far the best part was the massive lanai! We spent most of our time on the lanai. The sunset was picturesque every single night. And there was a table to eat breakfast and dinner on the lanai. The hotel was in walking distance of many awesome restaurants and stores. The employees were very helpful and kind. My only negatives are: The bed in the couch was disappointing and would only be suited for small children to sleep on. You could feel the metal Support bars through the mattress. Also the floors were extremely dirty. We bought a wet swifter to clean them during our stay. Which is shocking since they charge you such a huge cleaning fee when you check out. Even with the negatives Overall it worked out great for us and I would definitely stay there again.

I loved the room set up. It was bright and the balcony was perfect (not too windy). There was a dish washer which you will definitely appreciate. And the AC is amazing, true life saver. Somethings i didnt like were there were a lit of little scratches all over parts of the wall. There were small ants in the bathroom. And there was barely any staff. Also they start doimg construction at 7am, not cool. Woke me up every morning we were there.

It was conveniently located to the beach, an ABC store which my husband and son were very happy about and had many restaurants close by. We were quite shocked by the $250 we were charged for cleaning when we left. There was no maid service during our stay, we had to ask for clean towels, etc. when needed. We've stayed at other condos in Hawaii and did not have an extra charge upon checkout. Zach the person at the front desk was amazing! Very friendly, always acknowledging us when we left and came back and always asked if we needed anything. The day person at the desk (don't know his name) barely acknowledged us.

Outrigger Regency
The location is loud, lots of traffic noise and the occasional homeless person yelling. The bed needs to be a King in my opinion the room is big enough for it and it would be more comfortable. Blenders need to be replaced as they are broken or missing parts. The service was great and the front desk was always friendly. Parking costs are outrageous but it is Waikiki the Regency charges $35 a night but you can park at King Kalākaua Plaza for $24 a day. The Regency has in and out privileges but the King Kalākaua Plaza doesn’t so if you use that parking make sure you are done driving for the day.

Laundry facility is terrible and dirty. Closet like as you barely fit.
Bathroom sink is weird - looks like a mop sink and faucet is terrible almost touching sink. We had to use kitchen sink to wash up
Showers curtain doesn't cover the bottom so water everywhere
Don't provide cleaning throughout stay but charge you for cleaning when you leave.
Parking is crowded and small area by dumpsters(you can smell it) but pay $35 a day even though your staying there.

The suite itself was very nice. What I didn't care for were the house keeping charges ($35 a day) but house keeping doesn't clean until you leave, So I pretty much paid the hotel to clean my room myself and the laundry rooms don't open until 9:00am, I would have like to have my laundry done before we start the day. That is my only complaint. The staff is very nice and helpful, they have complementary juice and coffee daily in the lobby. The pool and business center are located at other Outrigger hotel down the road (not far at all). I would stay here again.

Bathroom door was broke when we got there. They also charged a HUGE cleaning fee, before we even stayed there, on top of the room fee. Quality of motel was not worth anywhere close to what they charged and they didn't even provide a breakfast. Had to ask for more towels and toiletries, even though we had to pay a $300 cleaning fee!!! Would not ever recommend this motel

We recently stayed for 10 nights and we went in knowing about cleaning fee, that room only cleaned upon request (ie condo style) and pool only at Reef. That said, staff were very helpful and friendly, they assisted with all our questions and requests, including doing our return flight check in and printing our boarding passes and after checking out holding our luggage until our flight. Hotel was suited to our family of 5, looked as advertised and was close to beach, restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay there on our next visit to Waikiki. It was also nice touch to have complementary coffe and 'pog' juice in lobby. We would like to give our appreciation to Outrigger Reef Security and more importantly Carlos of the beach location for buying sunglasses/chair & umbrella rental. Our daughter had her bag stolen at beach and he was very helpful getting hotel security for her and looked after us for the remainder of our stay as we continued to swim at that part of beach. We felt safer knowing he and his team were there keeping an eye on us and fellow vacationers. Thank you very much Carlos from Colin, Elaine, Alex, Emily and Sam.

The staff at the Regency were all very nice and friendly. I had a one bedroom unit which was fine for me. Supposed to be a full kitchen but has no oven. I don't call that a full kitchen. On day two I reported that my freezer was not making ice cubes and when I left fourteen days later it was still not making ice cubes. There were probably three different maintenance men who looked at it. Hallways always had trash bags, dirty sheets and dirty towles laying around. One morning I reported to the reception desk that the same bags of trash had been there since the day before. I don't think in the two weeks I was there that the hallway on the floor I was staying was ever vacuumed. WiFi was good. The area was very convenient to restaurants, shops and beach. No pool at this hotel but had use of pool at Outrigger Reef.

didn't quite get that this would be an efficiency apt with a $200 cleaning fee added. as our flight was delayed we only stayed 1 night so managed to talk the cleaning fee down to $100. However as our stay was on a Friday night, we did see the fireworks on the beach from our hotel balcony!!

First Trip to Hawaii
The 2 bedroom suite was a lure since we wanted queen beds and most affordable rooms only had 1 king or 2 double. Rooms were booking fast so we went with this hotel brand despite the lower tripadvisor rating. After booking we were notified of the $250 cleaning fee. If we had known about it before hand we would not have booked this hotel. It was a bit late to cancel at that point so we went with it.
After a 10 hour flight, we got to the hotel about 8:30 am and were told our room was not ready and we would have to wait for someone to check out. Check out was at 11. They held our luggage and we explored the area a bit since there was not much of a lobby to wait in. We were finally checked in after 11am and found out this is more of an extended stay place and the rooms would not be cleaned during our stay. That was a surprise since this hotel charges a $250 cleaning fee. Apparently the fee is for cleaning after you leave. That felt deceptive to us. The suite was very nice but that first cleaning was sub par most likely because it was rushed.
Despite this, the staff was very friendly and very responsive to our requests for fresh towels. The area is very nice and close to the beach but they need to be more upfront about the cleaning and accommodation type, to make an informed decision. There are also no restaurants on site despite showing 3. We did not get any leis on arrival. Is that not a thing anymore? We may stay again now we know but be forewarned fellow travelers.

Perfect!
This is our go to place in the Waikiki area. Just such a peaceful area, half a block off the main street. The group at the front desk are top notch and just the nicest group of people. The condo is small, but has everything we need and the location couldn't be more perfect.

Was not told this was a condo no where did hotels .com advertise this as well as said three restaurants on the property they were a block or two away and one of our parties is disabled this was very difficult for her to walk as well as the pool was at a near by hotel and had to walk to as well

Location is great. No pool in hotel. Do have access at another hotels pool 4min walk. Parking is limited and expansive. Be ready to pay cleaning fee upon check out about 250.00 dollars plus parking. No trolley passes included. Overall great stay. Didn't sit in hotel all day anyway, mostly exploring Hawaii.

Good location. Room is not bad, however there were lots of water on the floor from A/C. (They changed to other room) The reception person didn't say "thanks" to us after checkout, and they charged the deposit amount (deposit 210 something, charging amount was 180 something. used debit card and they never back the difference. hotel manager don't try to understand, nor do investigation.) Even the one located in the center of Waikiki and local people don't like tourist, their way of treatment is terrible.

Disappointed in Outrigger
We booked the hotel through Expedia so expected a "hotel" experience. There is no housekeeping service so we had to continuously request clean towels. In the end we used the hotel’s paid laundry area to wash the towels ourselves because they stopped delivering the clean towels! Seriously, I have never had to resort to doing that at any other hotel. When we checked out there was a housekeeping fee of about $200! What was the fee for, they didn’t clean our room once! Also, there was a vacuum in the suite but it didn’t work so we couldn’t even clean the floors. (It is Hawaii so there is a lot of sand.)
The employees were very friendly and offered as much help as they could while staying in the rules of the hotel. The issues with the hotel seem to be at a management level. Would I stay there again…no. Would I refer the hotel to a friend…no. By-the-way, we have stayed there before and didn’t have these issues.
Also, on Expedia it said roll-away beds were available. They told us they didn't have any at the hotel.

Great Family Set Up
Our family enjoyed our stay at the Outrigger Regency on Beachwalk. The location was perfect for the things we needed/wanted to do in town. Longs, ABC and 7-11 marts were right there for convenient pick-up of the things we needed for the kids and basic food like milk, juice, eggs, etc--and not as expensive as we thought. The kitchen facilities were nice and spacious and we enjoyed the furnishings too. Two balconies was nice and we all had a nook in the room for our own space. The staff was friendly and helpful....really a great place for families.

Resort prices without the resort experience
I stayed here last year with friends and loved it in a 2 bedroom so I booked here with my husband and toddler this time and was really disappointed. With the price you pay, you would expect a little luxury - no pool on site, no room service, no cleaning service daily, a lumpy sofa bed, no crib provided when asked and a broken safe - you even have to call if you want new towels!! The limited staff they do have on in the lobby barely make you feel welcome, if they look up from what they are doing at all. Having to cart our own luggage and a cranky toddler in a pram because there aren't enough staff was just one of the examples of poor service. And then to get picked up or dropped off your transport picks you up in the middle of the street as there's no driveway and limited street parking. THEN, they stick you with a $200 cleaning fee for your stay - on top of the outrageous prices! Next time I'm going to book the hotel down the street offering the same condo style with all the hotel amenities you'd expect on holidays. It seems the Recency uses its outrigger name to demand big prices when it's really not worth it.

The hotel is 20 min from the airport. It's in a great location. The only thing I didn't like is that at the end of our stay we had to pay an additional $150.00/CLEANING FEE and another $175.00 for parking!

Be ware of $$$ mandatory cleaning fee
We were charged almost $200 for "mandatory" cleaning fee at the checkout. They do not come clean the room at all during the stay for "eco" purposes and charges a $200 fee, really? The hotel does not come change dirty towels during the four night stay, we had to rquest it everyday. I believe it was not informed at the time of booking. I think I'll find a better hotel in the area next time.

Fit for purpose
The outrigger regency is just a short walk to Waikiki beach, restaurants, and shopping. This is the best aspect of this "condo hotel". The rooms were clean but the decor was dated and a little tired. If you are in need of a place that a family can stay comfortably, you should consider this hotel. Overall, a pretty good value

Terrible Customer service and extremely dirty room
Our overall experience with the hotel was extremely disappointing, the room was dirty upon arrival and the staff and management were extremely rude and unhelpful. There was no cleaning services at the hotel and they struggled to provide us with the equipment to clean our own room. The bathroom was disgusting with limited space and storage facilities the shower had mould in the corners. It took all day for the staff to deliver towels and washing detergent. On the upside the location of the hotel was excellent perfectly located in central Waikiki beach. We were travelling with 2 children so the hotel was an important aspect of our holiday and were were bitterly let down by the Outrigger on Beachwalk, definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel for families.

Wonderful location, extremely comfortable for the two of us. It was very quiet except for a few time we heard the early morning trucks in the back of the hotel. Really no big deal. There is no housekeeping service, except if you need towels.

Perfect for two couples or a family.
We wanted to see Pearl Harbor and Wailiki Beach while in Hawaii. We met two friends there and this property was perfect, two bedrooms, kitchen, living area with dining table and a patio with ocean view and another table and chairs. I would return and recommend .

Outrigger Regency Beachwalk
Comfortable room with a full kitchen with all appliances, pots and pans, dishes and glasses for four. Everything was great except there is no housekeeping while you are there. You can put out your trash at the door and it will be picked up. If there is anything you need, you can ask at the front desk and they will accommodate. At the end of yur stay you will be charged a $90.00 "housekeeping fee" to get it set up for the next guests after you leave. Somewhat lame in my book. Other than that a good experience.

Don't trust the high rating
This hotel is in a great location and the staff is very helpful. However, the room was not clean despite a charge of $115 room cleaning fee. There is a charge of $25 a night to park in the back parking lot. It is run down and only has one small bathroom for a 2 bedroom suite that sleeps 6. If you don't care about the rooms cleanliness and location is the most important thing then it is a good place to stay. The beds are very hard with worn sheets, however they were clean. Mostly this place is in need of a deep cleaning, paint and it would be an ok place to stay. The front bedroom and sofa sleeper in the living room are separated by a sliding window system, and the only air conditioning in these rooms is located in the living room. If you close the windows to the bedroom you have no air. If you leave the windows open and change the bedroom TV channel then you will change the living room TV also. Overall I would say it was not terrible just not what my family was looking for in Oahu. Would not stay here again.

Great location, it was a short walk to the beach, pool, main street and trolley. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel great base for walking and site seeing
The only fault was not having a pool, could have used the outrigger reef but we didn't ,
Try the legend show and paradise cove lual great experiences!

Great hotel close to everything right in Wakiki
Staff couldn't be more aligning and helpful just a short walk to the beach or the other Outrigger pool

Just ok
We recently stayed in a two bedroom apartment for a 7 night stay.
When we arrived we were given a room on level 3, the room smelt very old and we asked to move which was accomodated the following morning. Once we were moved to level 7 I found the room to be improved but the beds were tiny and so hard. There was not much room for all of our luggage either so we had to move the living and bedrooms around so we could lay out our cases.
We needed a kitchen as we were traveling with our 8 month old son and the facilities in the kitchen were very good.
It was fantastic that we were able to use the pool facilties at the Outrigger Reef.
On check out there were extra charges for cleaning and when we asked what they were for they were quickly removed from the person on front desk.
Overall I would say the apartment was just ok.

4 nights in a very comfortable and well locatedcon
the experience was undermined by additional but unspecified charges for " room cleaning". The Hotel is not really a hotel but a condo - no room service and extra but unnotified questionable charges are a downer - "the management" could nominate any extra fee! A poor marketing point.

the hotel is central located,with lot of amenities
The staffs are courteous, room is clean and well equipped in the kitchen supplies and electronics. We have a pleasant stay.
