Every single person we met who worked here was sooo perfect my helpful and friendly. Area was safe, interesting and buses easy to use right outside! Quiet room with great views. Wonderful experience!

Aston at the Executive Center is located in the downtown area, close to Starbucks and 7/11. Our room is spacious with a sitting area and kitchen. It has a great view of the harbor. But the place is dated. The bathroom is old and needs renovation. Overall the place is clean and convenient.

I wish there were thick comforter blankets in the closet (as an option to use at least), wish the bedroom had carpet but I guess vinyl throughout the place is easier to clean, and I also wish there were bathroom mats in the bathroom since a rubber mat is not effective. Also, I didn't understand why the jacuzzi bathtub wasn't working, there were no instructions, finally I wished there was room service available. I guess, not many places have room service anymore so that was frustrating,
The staff is amazing, they made me feel safe and welcomed. They were friendly, easy to talk to and approach, and felt more like friends than staff members.

The room was like a small apartment. Very well equipped with new TVs in living room and bedroom, as well as washer/dryer and nice soaker tub. We felt safe in our room but it is a little sketchy on the streets in this area of town. Overall we had a good experience at this hotel. I would stay again.

Amazing rooms! The numerous floor to ceiling windows are incredible! The amenities such as a full kitchen and washer/dryer was unexpected. I will definitely come back. I have already been telling folks about my experience and property.

It's a decent hotel in a pretty bad neighborhood. Be sure to do your research about where you're staying. Some things are walkable but definitely not at night.

Great views of Honolulu
I'm glad we chose this hotel. Check in was easy and the people upfront were friendly, organized and helpful. The hotel is a bit dated, but we found a big spacious room with excellent views from the 33rd floor. The hotel is on the top floors of the building. Located in the center of town walking distance to Chinatown, the Aloha tower, and the historic district. About a 20-25 minute bus ride to Pearl Harbor and Waikiki, bus stops across the street. You can purchase bus tickets at the 7-11. We would stay here again.

The space is very spacious, fully equipped, and has a great view from the 37th floor of the harbor. It was nice that they allowed an early check-in and were very kind. The only thing is, it would have been better if they had informed us in advance that the hotel lobby is underground. It was difficult to find the entrance when we first arrived.

More a flat than a suite, underfurnished (whoever heard of a suite that only had a single comfy chair in it?), clearly a bit past its prime. The real shocker was the blood(?) stains in the carpet, cleaned but still visible.
Next time we'll just stay in Waikiki, where we can usually get stays for the same price.

It was a little hard to find at first. It's a lovely hotel. It was clean and quiet to be downtown. I had an ocean view for a decent price. The staff were nice and helpful. I would recommend and stay here again.

I think it’s convenient to shops and the hospital but the area is sketchy. Lots of homeless and sketchy people. Not ideal for walking at night. But inside hotel was clean and ideal for what we were looking for. Overall my stay was just fine.

This property is an absolute gem in Honolulu. It is not located in Waikiki and that’s what makes it so special. I felt safer here than in Waikiki. If you want a beach there is a beautiful, uncrowded beach about a 25 min walk away. We found a wonderful waterfront restaurant that was never crowded about 5 min walk away. Everyone is more friendly and laid back in this part of Honolulu and you don’t pay ridiculously high prices for hotels or food.

Nice modest suites in downtown Honolulu. Comfortable and quiet. Showing a little age but very clean and kept up. Note that this is not Waikiki, so if you want to be walking distance to a beach you should go elsewhere. Had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed a lovely ocean view from my room. Sunset was amazing.

Great for business travelers - spacious, well-appointed, and I really appreciated the clothes washer with washing liquids, very handy! Close to good restaurants if you know where to look - highly recommend Murphy’s for great pub grub, J. Dolan’s for pizza, and Pho Vietnam for the best pho in Honolulu, all within a 2-3 min walk

Nice views,
The hot water didn’t work all the time, we never called for service though. The tap water was not good at all, it would have been good to know to bring our own water for coffee and drinking. Area was a bit sketchy at night. There were few places to go close the the hotel on Sunday, so I wouldn’t plan to stay there again on Sunday.

Located in a busy business and town center district, now inhabited by many homeless, and yet not necessarily violent people, and adjacent to now nearly abandoned China town neighborhood) , I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this very nice and quiet hotel in a high rise building (38th floor). Was given a large well kept condo-like unit, with an excellent view ( mountain side). The staff at the reception desk was attentive and excellent. This hotel did not charge resort fee. On the 11th floor there was a nice outdoor pool with a hot tub , though not useable at the time of my stay (10 days). A nice kitchen with a coffee maker, microweb oven, some dishes, etc.. What else do you want?

Very interesting location, great staff and service. The suite was large with spectacular views over the harbor.
Furnishings were spare, a bit stark but comfortable.
Unfortunately the AC was a bit noisy. They were quick to send up a tech to check it out and he tried but couldn't make it better without just turning it off. So we left it on all day (while we were gone) and used a floor fan at night (which they were quick to provide).

There was no where to eat including in the hotel. Surrounded by homeless people. Felt unsafe. The photo in the ad does not by any means reflect what we received. No flowers no headboard no tv in living room or other furniture other than a small couch.

The hotel was very clean and felt very safe. The staff were beyond accommodating and friendly. Every time we had questions, they had answers, in regards to their hotel facilities, directions to locations, information about events, etc.
The pool was large and cool, they also have a jacuzzi next to it that was nice for the cooler nights.
Will definitely consider staying here again if we go back to Oahu.

The pros: the staff are very nice and helpful.
The cons: the hotel is constantly surrounded by homeless people. Most are non threatening and not an issue. However, a few are dealing with issues and make a single female traveler feel uneasy. Also the hotel is a mixed use space. There are also condo units that share the hotel floors. The condo units get very noisy and they dont inforce non smoking. Some floors stink of cigarettes. Residents also get very loud and they don't limit the amount of people coming in and out. There were always strange people coming in and out of the unit next to us. Not a great hotel for single women travelers or families woth small children. I wish Expedia disclosed this information or acknowledged its a mix use building.

Hard to get to the main lobby. One of the elevators was scary because it was rickety.
But the rooms were spacious, with a kitchen area (dishes included), iron, ironing board and washing machine & dryer.
Extremly nice staff.
But never use Expedia because my small group (2 rooms) was 14 floors apart, yes floors.

Some initial problems which were quickly sorted and we were upgraded to an executive suite which was very comfortable. The hotel is not really for tourists- we were there over a weekend and on Sunday night had to order pizza to be delivered as nowhere open to eat! Bus stop extremely close but hotel is in an area with a lot of homeless people and the area felt unsafe after dark.

노숙자가 너무 많은 거리에 있는 다소조금 오래된 호텔입니다. 비행기 갈아타는 시간이 길어서 숙박했는데. 공항에서 일반버스타고 움직이는데는 문제가 없습니다.식사나 간단한 용품 사는데도 문제가 없지만.. 상가 수준은 중하라고 보시면 됩니다. 호텔내부 한인주방장 식당과 최근에 개점한 한인마겟은 정말 좋지만 딱 거기까지입니다. 방에 주방시설과 세탁시설이 있는것도 좋습니다. 충전코드가 없는 점은 문제지만 딱 이부근에 장기업무 출장 온 경우에 적합한 호텔인듯 보입니다. 비용이나 관광지 접근성을 고려할때 관광용 숙소는 아니네요.

Great View Not the Cleanest
I took a solo trip! I loved the view from the 22nd floor the bed was my fav place. It wasn't the cleanest I found a few things left by the last guest, and I seen four roaches in the room as well (1 everyday I was there). They were small and I killed them and keep going with my day but I didn't want to see them at all. I believe people live there as well which is fine but you can small the food they are cooking every night. Not sure if that's good or bad just wanted to mention it.

Hotel has a great location, but not much else that is good.
WiFi worked for the first hour I was there and then broke. Called front desk but they couldn't fix it.
Property is old and worn down with carpet stains and VERY outdated kitchen.
Hotel was very loud - could clearly hear the noise from the street and from the maintenance people in the hallway at 3AM. Not comfortable at all.

The Executive Centre is a beautiful building inside and out. Commons area, lobby, elevators are all extremely clean and always smelt so good. The hotel staff were professional, polite and so helpful. When i needed towels, ice or anything i would call front desk and theyd have it delivered within minutes. My suite was on the 33rd floor with an ocean view. I love how two walls were nothing but huge windows. Parking garage was connected to the hotel. Easy and convenient but it was $30 per day. Several stores restaurants are nearby in walking distance. My only complaint is i wish they had a king bed available and that the beds were more comfortable. Such a great location and great hotel ruined by horrible nights of sleep.

I only stayed here for the location, but it was not worth it. The homeless population outside is a real treat. I had more expectations from an Aston Hotel and expected an “OK” visit, but it was overall disappointing. The lobby is nice, but the place is old and smells old. The room was outdated, the floors were dusty, the bed was uncomfortable and squeaked. The pool was under construction and there was no real amenities. Not worth $200 a night.

The location in downtown / Chinatown district is convenient for walking. The suites are spacious and clean with small kitchenettes suitable for extended stays. The hotel is located in a mixed-use high-rise (residential, business, hotel). Only a few suites on each floor are used as hotel suites. Unfortunately, the hotel's suites are adjacent to the emergency stairwells and elevator shafts on each floor. The sounds of the elevators can be heard as a distant rumbling, particularly at night.
Parking is available in an adjacent structure for a daily fee (in/out is OK).
There is a non-affiliated restaurant in the building but all recommended dining options are external.
The staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful, clean hotel in the business district of town. We chose it because of the excellent rate and close to the port to catch our cruise ship. We were very happy with the room and amenities provided. The front desk allowed for early check in and it was much appreciated:).
