Had security guards patrolling the hotel. Nice restaurant connected to the hotel, reasonable prices. Only has a 3ft 6 in Pool and one section of a 5 ft area Pool, no hot tub, but overall very nice Hotel.

The property was in minor disrepair. A pole light was laying on the ground in the back. Gutters were coming off the building at the back entance. The room had no USB ports. Apart from this it was an enjoyable stay.

Just ok
The part of town was a little rough. There is security on staff at night. The room was ok but the bed not comfortable. The restaurant only had one staff member for breakfast. She was trying but it took a while to be served. The variety wasn’t much. The pool was dirty and water was not clear. The staff was super nice and friendly.

Stay away! Run!
We will never stay here again. Do not recommend! Our room smelled like mildew and was so hot all night long. It was also not clean at all. I will never book through hotels.com again. I am very very disappointed!!!!

The property was clean, nice and quite. I was there for one night and it was very nice. The bedroom was clean and nice. The staff were very helpful and nice. I would recommend this hotel.

The property is in a good location, just a few minutes' drive to restaurants, shops, and bars. The pool area is nice for swimming and laying in the sun. The room was clean and quiet. The only little problem was an aesthetic one- the sheer curtains were mix matched. One side was shorter than the other and the other side had a ripped hem. It seems as if no one gives the room a final look over. I know this is a silly problem, but if I were the manager, I would want to know.

This Holiday Inn is in need of a make-over, the room was clean the staff was nice with what there working with, but you can see that the whole building to parking lights leaning over and broken is in need of a re-do.

Good Location
Good location, close to Edison estate and within walking distance to downtown. Heated pool and restaurant onsite, plus plenty of parking. Rooms are somewhat plain, but clean and comfortable.

Whole floor and room smelled musky. Trash cans at elevators were filthy. Door handles inside room filthy. No hangers in closet. Furniture in room was very dinged up, seemed old. Front desk staff very nice and friendly. Restaurant ok- not much on selections, but convenient.

Kurig in room did not work but there was a Dunkin' Donuts next door. Shower water did not get very warm and, even though I took a quick shower, it was cold by the end.

Overall great stay. Only issue I experienced is the sheets of the bed. I'm not sure if it's the detergent used or what but it did cause some mild itching to my skin. All staff were helpful and courteous.

Smoke, noise, permanent residence
Smoke and noise. Apparently this hotel is a full time stay for some less fortunate individuals. This creates a weird environment. We moved rooms because of the smoke and the front desk gave another guest keys to our room! Wow! Not fun!

Old and outdated
Very old and smells like smoke. Rooms very old and noisy. Very outdated. Water in room smelt like chlorine. Not the best place to stay. Breakfast was awful , poor waitress was so overwhelmed. Do not recommend

This property was incredibly dirty! We stayed here for 2 nights because we had a wedding to attend in downtown. The halls were dirty, the elevator was unclean and the room had a dirty fridge with a shower that had some mold. Highly disappointed in this place as we had stayed here in June and it was great which is why we booked again.

You asvertised this property in Trip Advisor as Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza. This location is in a high crime area with homeless people and prostitutes.
Likely an experience that drives me never to use Orbitz again. IHG had to relocate me. They indicated I would get a refund. If you at all would like to keep my business, please confirm true. And stop misleading customers. Thank you.

Nice hotel but not downtown
Information not available at Hotels.com website that there was a restriction to the weight of the dog. Hotel room was fine, fairly big and clean even if the carpet was old. The cooked to order breakfast (only Sundays?) was nice. The area around the hotel is not very nice and you do not want to walk from the hotel to downtown Fort Myers.

The b'fast buffet was outstanding! People working in the restaurant very nice.
Room was dirty, however, the staff at the reception were very kind to allow us to check in early. However, the room was dirty, food in the refrigerator, hair in the shower.

First and foremost the staffwas wonderful. I had a medical issue they were so helpful. When I returned that afternoon the were more then willing to help.
It has to be one of cleanest Hotels in Fort Myers that I have stayed at.

Stayed in an ada room. Tv not working as soon as I checked in remote broken. Two conditioners in the shower so I called the front desk to get shampoo and they said they would bring it to my room, I waited for 20 mins and no shampoo called the front desk and she said I would have to come up to get it. No hairdryer in the room again had to wait another 20 mins to get that. Over a poor experience.

Hotel was 2 miles from my place of work. There was a hospital nearby and fast-food places to choose from. There was a Dunkin Donuts directly in front of the hotel. The area around it was ok.

Great place to stay near the courthouse!!
Our first room wasn't very clean and they immediately switched us to a very clean room with newer mattresses and free hot breakfast for two! Everyone was so helpful, they carried our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed on our stay. I have no problem leaving a good review, I had a good stay!

Inconvenient restaurant/bar
Everything went OK however, we were disappointed with the on-site restaurant and bar which was why we booked the hotel. It always seem to be closed. They’re open from 6:30 in the morning till 11 and then from 4 to 8. So we were not able to get drinks for when we were at the pool. Later when we got back from dinner, we had hoped to stop for one to take to our room but it was again closed. Even the promise of an early breakfast (which we paid for in advance) didn’t work out because at 6:45 the restaurant was still closed (front desk even said it opened at 630). We looked in and they were still putting out food and the doors were locked. So we just left.
It’s a short distance from downtown and was fine. But definitely don’t let the on-site restaurant/bar be a selling point.

Was really disappointed. Air in room was thick and I could hardly breathe all night. There were about 4 men standing immediately at the entrance smoking so the lobby was drenched with the smell of cigarette. I stayed for only 1 night and would never stay there again.

The Staff was Amazing! Super nice and helpful with everything! Upon check in the gentleman, David told us where all the local spots were and how to get there! We were in town for a baseball tournament. Housekeeping was very good and accommodating as well !!

We stay here a few times a year our room has always been clean and the staff courteous. My only suggestion is to ask for a room not close to the elevator shaft. Our room was right next to it and you can hear the lift going up and down. It wasn’t too bad however close to the elevator is the ice machine and it was very loud as people filled up their ice buckets.

We stay here quite often for tournaments at the Skatium due to the proximity. It’s a good price for a decent nights sleep. Nothing fancy but the staff was friendly and the room was clean.

The hotel was in a great location to downtown but is outdated and need some work. Room was clean but not in great shape. No hot or even warm water from bathroom sink, refrigerator had a musty smell and the ice box was gross, the sheets had remnants of hair. While I called the morning of my arrival and spoke to a nice gentleman about early check in and he informed me they actually had a room at that time, when I arrived the female behind the front desk was rude and short with me. In the end she allowed me to check in 2 hrs early but her tone was not pleasant. Not to the fault of the hotel but there is a lot of street construction going on so if you are an out of towner it can get confusing. Dunkin’ is right next door as is a RaceTrac gas station.

When we arrived we were given a room that was clearly smoked in. As soon as you opened the door that is all you could smell. I understand the area just went through a hurricane and was not expecting much but the rooms were not exactly up to par and the furniture in our room had seen better days. Staff was extremely pleasant though. Gave us a new room and I know they were having a hard time with some of their guests due to arguments going on in the lobby. Breakfast was not good at all, honestly could not eat it, but I know that technically that is a different place. The area the hotel is in is not very safe feeling either, was not so much downtown like first thought.

Worst customer service ever. Lobby area looks OK but bedroom was old, dirty, there was a roach in the bathroom, no one showed fo pick up garbage and provide fresh towels. the experience was so poor that I decided to leave early just not to stay another night in that terrible hotel. Absolutely a NO NO to come back.

Lights in entry and bathroom did not work. Fan in bathroom did not work. They moved us to another room after we had unpacked. Restaurant/lounge not open. Only coffee available in room was de caff. Very disappointing.

Expressed my feelings in prior review from the same stay, just separate bookings. Great hotel, very clean & centrally located. Prices are sky high right now but it’s not just this Holiday Inn, it’s every single hotel, motel or “Inn” of any kind in the general area of SWFL since Hurricane Ian & COVID. Other than it being $270-$300 each night, everything was great.
