Down the street from the game.
Great overnight stay so grand kids could attend an Illini game. Full house. Staff did a great job with breakfast. Pool was well maintained.

The staff seemed happy to see us. They were so welcoming. They would even conversate with us some. Nice clean room and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. My service pet was never questioned and was instead very welcomed. I will use them again for sure. My daughter lives there and its an affordable and quality hotel. thanks

Place was beautiful, room spacious. Tv on dresser facing other side of room and not facing the couch or the bed, had to move dresser from wall and turn tv to face a direction in which we could watch tv, so for that I would suggest mounting tv on wall with adjustable tv mount. Was clean and breakfast was pretty good, would suggest getting waffle maker!! Staff helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again if in Champaign Illinois again….we were in town for the Girl Named Tom “One More Christmas” concert at Virginia theatre, so this was just a few miles away and very convenient to shopping and restaurants!

Hotel was OK, convenient and quiet room.
The FREE PARKING - advertised on Expedia is confusing, we ended up be charged for $6/day of parking, but it's literally mentioned on Expedia website that the properly offers free parking.
The reception even did not ask or register my car, so how did they know I have a car? Or they just simply add parking fee for all stays?
Expedia, please remove those misleading content, if free marking is no longer offered.

Mobility Accessible bathroom lacked high toilet & grab bar next to toilet.
Did have low tub side & 1 large grab bar in tub/shower.
Sheer curtains with no heavy drapes to cover windows for darkening or privacy. Had to dress in bathroom. Ridiculous.
Very good breakfast.
Nice looking indoor pool, but no time a swim.
Check in staff, Tony, was helpful.
Check out staff never asked how my stay or room was.

Perfect for a quick 1 night stay
The front desk staff was incredibly friendly. We loved the common area where breakfast was served, even though we didn't get to enjoy the breakfast. Coffee was ready before 7 am though!
Our room was very clean. There were a few cobwebs which probably need some attention, but other than that, the room was great.

Very large suite. Really appreciated being able to sit on a couch to watch TV instead of the bed. Loved the padded footstool to be able to put our feet up as well. Just a quick get away to relax and de-stress so the room was perfect for that.

Terrible!
Hotels.com booked me on the wrong day! They had a representative that had trouble speaking english. When we got there, they had no reservation for us and said it was booked a for a few days ago. Never again.

Overall my stay was quite enjoyable. The room was very clean and being that i had my children, it was conveniently located near the elevator yet still very quiet and not directly next to anyone so I knew that no one be disturbed by them. Parking was fantastic and breakfast wasnt crowded but i also think when we stayed played a big part. My only complaint is that the pool was shut down on day 2 of our stay and no notice was posted until morning of which led to a major disappointment for my children who were dressed in their swimsuits and in the lobby. I think pool closures should always be listed. Other than that, a perfect stay and we will definitely be back during football season!

The suite was very nice. Hotel staff was very friendly. The pool ended up being closed for part of our stay which was a let down but not a huge deal. The elevators took turns not working which was slightly inconvenient but the hotel got the working fairly quickly.

We stayed in the suite with 2 king beds, sofa and kitchen for 1 night for admitted student day. Room was huge, bright and comfortable . Nice you could close door between kitchen and bedroom.
Bed super comfortable.
We used the weight room and it was fantastic with 5 -50 pound dumbells, medicine balls, peloton, elliptical, treadmills and water and towels. Pool was small but fun.
Breakfast was excellent. Cheese omelets, bacon, potatoes and make your own waffles. Oatmeal with great toppings of blueberries, cranberries, almonds and brown sugar.
My 17 year old son said it was best hotel he stayed in
Close to campus and walking distance to State Farm center and football field.
Only complaint was the curtain track of the sun blocking curtain stopped leaving 8 inches exposed to the morning sun
Overall a nice place to stay, will be back!

I didn’t like the food, that here are no double beds, bed sheets were dirty and had dead bugs on them. Towels smelled bad and were filthy. Food was old, very dry and no salt was there. I never saw milk in a pitcher before

Good space for my family of four (all adults). Close to U of I. The only bad thing is that there is a working railroad close to the hotel which was slightly annoying during the day. However, most importantly, it was quiet during the night. The front desk person (Shahjehan) was very friendly and helpful.

What happened to free parking

One of the nicest rooms I have stayed in. The suites are the size of a small apartment with full kitchen. The breakfast is very well done and there was even a free turkey dinner one night. Even though the weather was 10 degrees below zero for part of our stay we had a very positive experience. The area around the hotel is a mix of light retail as well as residential. Very safe, and convenient to the University of Illinois sporting events.
Would stay here again without question.

The room was much smaller than pictured. I think they used a special lens to make it look bigger. The breakfast was terrible and the staff started cleaning with a strong disinfectant while we were eating. They sprayed tables right by us. It was gagging and we just left.

The room was large, the bed was comfortable and the staff was nice. Unfortunately a staff member unlocked and opened our door after knocking once and barely waiting for our reply, the toilet ran off and on all night, the shower door would not stay shut and our dishwasher was out of order. The people in the room above us were very loud. The hotel is large and was not busy. It seems the guest could have been spread out more. For the price we paid these maintenance items should have been addressed before the room was booked for a guest stay.

This was not my first stay and it won't be the last.
We were in town for race weekend and proximity to the expo and race day staging was perfect. Being able to walk meant not dealing with race parking challenges!
The hotel was kept clean; staff was always friendly.
The room was clean and had everything we needed. Some of the pots/pans/kitchen utensils were missing but did not negatively affect our stay. They may want to check up on the state of the cooking/dinnerware on after stays and make note of what may need replacing.

I love Hilton hotels. We arrived after 4.5 hrs of white knuckled snow storm driving and the free appetizers were perfect!
My only complaint was that the room didn't seem as clean as I would have expected. There were orange stains in the shower and on a few other surfaces (maybe hair dye?), the shower safety bar had a loose cover, and there was a dried contact lens on the bathroom floor. Overall, the room was quiet and comfortable.

Excellent, central location @ Neil and Kirby. Comfortable room with kitchen that met our needs. Some utensils were missing when we arrived, and the hotel staff were responsive to our requests. They could have been more consistent about wearing masks; one offensive staff member claimed she had a medical exemption but should have been wearing a face shield in that case.

The property was advertised as smoke-free, however the room smelled of smoke. Also, it was advertised on Expedia that there was a hot tub, which there was not. Property felt safe and secure, which was great! It was also great to have the kitchenette in the suite.

We enjoyed the spacious suite. There was plenty of room for my son and I to sleep comfortably and enjoy some space. Had a nice breakfast at the table provided with the kitchenette. Even the little toiletries left by the sink were something I would actually use.

Maskless girl checked us in. The hotel room was large and clean. The dishes were in the dishwasher instead of the cabinets. I didn’t think to look there at first. The bed was very comfortable. You can very clearly hear people in the room above. We were unfortunate to have kids up there (I’m guessing). There were a lot of jumping and moving furniture noises. I was told at check-in that breakfast was served until 10am on Saturday morning which was what the sign in the breakfast area also stated. However, when I went at 9:35am the next morning, the entire area was cleaned and no breakfast. I asked at the front desk if there was a sack breakfast instead due to COVID. The girl at the desk said, “No, breakfast is only until 9:30, but let me check.” She went to the back then came out and told me it closed at 9:30am. I told her that the girl who checked me in had told me 10am and the sign clearly stated 10am Saturday and Sunday. She then pointed at the sign and said, “See, breakfast is served until 10am Monday thru Friday and only until 9:30am on Saturday and Sunday.” I told her the sign said the opposite. She then turned and read the sign and said, “Oh, we’ll have to get that sign changed.” But, I still didn’t get any breakfast. Does not make sense to me that they would be open later hours on the weekdays than weekends for breakfast. More likely, the person in charge of breakfast wanted to close early. So, my daughter and I can’t comment on the “included” breakfast we were denied.

Front desk was super friendly and accommodating. She assisted us in changing rooms to a larger room our last night when our son joined us. The suites have everything you need, convenient location, nice fitness center. This is our second visit and it was even better than the first. Highly recommend.

The room had a lot of space and the bed we're pretty comfortable. We were on the far end of the building and the wifi was really spotty and some of the supplies in the the kitchen area were really dated. It was a clean property and good for what we needed finding a spot to stop while passing through.

Great staff at the hotel. I booked through Expedia but Expedia changed my reservation with the hotel from 2 beds to one sungle bed so there was some confusion, but the fantastic staff at Homewood Suites helped to make our stay awesome.
