Pleasantly surprised at my first time staying at this property. It is safe and quiet and was very clean, but the facilities were a little worn and I also thought it was kind of pricey for what it was. I would stay here again to visit friends that live in Crawfordville because of the safety and quietness, but it is a little more expensive than staying in Tallahassee.

Last minute reservation on 10/5, 1 night. Could not find anything suitable along the route we were going until this Hotel showed up on my search, originally looking in Perry, but we drove the extra 50 miles. WELL WORTH IT. We had a late check in, front desk and lobby area clean, and inviting. Parking lot was well lit. Front desk women that checked us in very polite and friendly. Room was clean and neat.
Breakfast was selection nice, I will say the BEST coffee at a hotel I think we have ever had, and we travel alot. The young man on staff we spoke to at breakfast very professional and friendly. We were able to talk to the Manager before we left and complemented him on such a great place to stay.
So if your ever in Crawfordville I would highly recommend the Magnuson Hotel Wildwood Inn.

The beds were clean, and the personnel were very helpful and nice.
What I did not like at all is:
1- The smell in the room.
2- The inferior quality of the toiletry in the bathroom.
3- The breakfast choices.
4- The location of the hotel (away from the city).

Mold on the ceiling. Dirty windows, torn valance over window. Smelled and the ac sounded like a motorcycle taking off. Very damp feeling. Exposed wires running the entire length of the hall. Couldn't get a refund because I booked it through Expedia or no way would I have stayed.Slept with my clothes on not a good place!!

Very disappointed .
Carpets smelled! Air conditioner very outdated! Direct TV worst -did not work correctly. Not a fan of Sunday breakfast, either! I only like fresh food. So thankful we were only there one night! Will never go back -room was very expensive!

The staff was super nice and helpful. The common areas were pretty clean but not spotless. Room was nice and clean and appeared as advertised. The only real drawback was the super hard and uncomfortable bed paired with cheap pillows.

The room still had a bit of pet odor when I checked in. Otherwise everything was satisfactory. Breakfast was good for hotel fare, the coffee was excellent!
The room had a hard “wood” floor, a little mopping with some bleach would go a long way to have made this a 5 star review.

Hate let fees.
Hate the pet fee per day. Bet my pet left less of a mess than most children. One rate regardless of the length of stay is sufficient. That isn't unique to this hotel. Others do it with an even higher rate per day. Good hotel. Quiet, family oriented. Needs some grounds work but we don't sleep outside.

Great property. I was in a fishing tournament and able to park my car and kayak trailer within sight of my room.
They even went out of their way for us anglers and started breakfast early! Amazing staff! T can't thank you enough!

The room smelled like mold. The A/C sounded like a lawn mower. The Television didn’t work.
Will never stay at this property again, with the other options nearby.
They had a damp rid container that was full of water, so they are aware that there is a problem. My husband left with respiratory issues.
This property needs serious repairs.

My room was very dated. In addition, it was very humid inside the room even though the air conditioner ran constantly. There was a Box of damp-rid Which was almost all water. There were no blackout curtains, only blinds. The room was fairly bright at night. I won't stay here again.

Not as close to Tallahassee as we hoped but it had availability for graduation. Extremely friendly and helpful service. Everything clean and well kept. Mattresses could use updating but not awful. Great option for the area.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was dog friendly and the fee was only 20 dollars.
The location was central from a gas station/ food station and the beach. However, the was a musty smell to the room. I was traveling alone and found the side door to the hotel was never locked. It had a card key slot, but you didn't need it. The door just opened on its own.
Breakfast is free. It's simple, bagels, yogurt, waffles, cereal, muffins, eggs, sausage. To me it seemed a bit pricey with rates around 160 a night. However, there was an event that weekend and I'm sure they were raised because of that.

a fine stay in Crawfordville
A clean nice stay if you find yourself in Crawfordville. breakfast looked nice (I didn't eat it) - room was clean. Towels were ok (not plush but new and clean). non carpet floors in rooms were nice as it was clean vinyl. sheets and blankets ok. The blinds didn't really block out light - I'd pick a 2nd or 3rd floor room next time. Good value for price
also - a walk or run on the bike path to the south was nice - it got shady about 1/2 a mile to the south. there is a limited gym - but early morning in April the walk was nicer

The room had an odor and the floor appeared to have never been mopped. Something felt sticky so O for a damp towel to snipe or and everywhere I wiped the towel came up black.

Overall, nice stay. However, we weren't allowed in the common areas. We like to get out of the room to play cards or even spread out to eat carry out. Also, we would get down every morning around 8:40 for breakfast and everything was out or running out. Hot water, coffee, buffet food, yogurt - you name it. So we scraped up what we could for a breakfast. Seemed they have a requirement to not waste one bit of food and to wrap up promptly at 9. Never experienced that anywhere else. Beware! Get down there at 7:30 if you are hungary!

Check in and check out staff were terrific. The place looks tired and in need of a refresh. The continental breakfast was poor. Items were not replenished and the bagels were dry. No fruit was available. Tables weren’t wiped down after use.

Not worth what we had to pay in Football weekend
The staff was really friendly so I will say that is a positive. The room smelled very musty or mildew-y. It looked like they had painted it to make it look more up to date. We tried to turn on the TV and it was either broken or we couldn’t figure out which button in the remote turned it on so we just left it off. There was a free breakfast that was average at best but free so can’t complain too much. Overall, not worth what we had to pay for it and the distance from FSU but we were there for the UF vs FSU game and all of the hotels were price gouging that weekend so anything closer would have been even more expensive.

Kind staff, mediocre room
We appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was less than average, I know they are pet friendly rooms, but you could really smell that after a fact an odor of other pets. My husband could not stop sneezing. Our window looked right onto the parking lot and sidewalk, and our mini blinds did not close well.When you have a pet friendly hotel it is probably difficult to keep the hallways from being dirty and smelling a bit. I know they did their best but it didn’t not feel very fresh.

We were evacuating from Hurricane Ian. Booked this hotel because it said pet friendly. Arrived only to be told by a smiling manager that they have no more pet friendly rooms. Go somewhere else. Now I have to fight for my money back.

Solid hotel

Helpful staff. Secure and quiet. A very minor complaint - the bath towel rack was ready to fall but otherwise the property is obviously well taken care of. Good breakfast. I’ve stayed there before and the stays have always been good.

We have no complaints.
Room was clean, air conditioner was on and room was comfortably cool. Hall was quiet. Ice machine and drinks was convenient also. Front desk was friendly and helpful.

The room was so humid that the bedding was moist. It was kinda gross settling in to sleep. The key cards only worked once each and had to be reactivated. Breakfast was good and the staff was nice. Room was very spacious

check in was easy, the guy who was working the place and breakfast was on it. he was amazing. we will return back here. breakfast was great too. we could have brought our pet but didn't, but it was nice running into other pups on the property!

Peaceful serene stay
We have styed at this hotel 2 times this year. Most pleasant stay that i have ever had. Kind and courteous staff. Very clean rooms and surroundings. Quiet,peaceful and very nicely kept hotel. Will always stay there when I am in the area. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our room smelled like urine it was not clean. The floors were dirty, the coffee maker was dirty, the bed was uncomfortable. The staff was very nice but other than that we would never stay there again.
