We loved our room, location and all the nice restaurants.
The staff is amazing at all levels. The hotel was within walking distance of a lot of historical locations. Great place to stay!!

The staff at this property is absolutely fantastic! They all go above and beyond!!! From the moment you exit your car to the minute you leave the property….. Can’t wait to stay here on our next trip back to Boston!

This hotel is gorgeous, there was some maintenance being done on the first floor elevators but you still had access to other elevators in the conference area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. One thing I was very unhappy with is the hotel ended up charging me an extra $300 in some fees. The destination fee and taxes were included in my Expedia price so I am not sure how or what the $300 was for, it is not clear in the receipt

Love the Intercontinental chain, and the Boston location. The concierge staff, lounge on the 12th floor, and all are always very professional and helpful. Excellent location to Boston's many attractions.

Lots to love about this property. The location is excellent for both walkability and public transportation. Rooms and hotel are very clean. Concierge, Rob, is top notch in his information and recommendations . Things I loved and reasons I booked here: room is spacious (480sf) with good options for clothing / supply storage . Bonus - they gave more than 6 hangers. The bathroom counter has plenty of room for supplies and preparations and the lighting is good along with a make up light . Bathroom has both a separate tub and shower . The a/c easily kept up with temp changes . The bed was very comfortable . The only very slight downsides were: our bathroom sink was clogged and drained very slow. We wouldn’t remember to call about it until it was an awkward hour . Same with a shower seal issue. The shower door seal had issues and the door would leak at one corner so we had to be sure to keep the towel mat in place . There is a window between the bathroom and the living area and it has a sliding window between the two spaces . It’s cute in design but negative in function . Sound and light between the bathroom and living spaces area are shared a little too liberally . The bed is very comfortably and the bedding is nice but there is only a duvet/comforter, no sheets. We were there in July . I kept forgetting to ask for a sheet or light throw so I wouldn’t have to only have duvet / comforter or nothing . We were on the 11tn floor and it took forever to get hot water.

I appreciated the cleanliness of this hotel and the staff were accommodating and friendly. Rooms were neat and tidy. Our trash in the bathroom wasn’t taken out prior to our arrival, but we didn’t mind. It was trash. Pool is located on the second floor but we had a hard time locating it due to it being in the back of the spa and gym. Overall great stay and will be going back. It’s in the heart of downtown and we were able to get around reasonably.

Greta hotel - allowed early check in and slightly later check out. Room brilliant, very spacious, modern and well appointed. A shame the restaurant being renovated so it was temporarily in the lobby/corridor and didn’t have a good feel. Excellent gym

Great location
We were upgraded because the pool was closed. Comfortable bed but the furniture in the other room was uncomfortable. Beautiful view. Make sure to request the side away from the fire station. Best part was the seaport location.

The concierge was particularly fantastic. All of his recommendations were spot on throughout our stay, including vegetarian options, stops en route to actitivities, etc. Room service was also excellent re speed, quality of food, & service. We just needed a few vegetarian options. Overall, service was great!

Inilta Monteir was very knowledgeable about things to do. I had a problem with my account and she spent extra long time helping me clear it up. I also wanted to thank Ron, he located tickets for the Celtics game.

I liked how it was close enough to walk to and from the harbor and it was around lots of things to do, The pool was pretty small for the size of the hotel, I couldnt sleep due lots of noises from outside. Overall its a okay hotel, the rooms can be updated definitely.

Tacina at the front desk was so kind. Rob the concierge was very professional and thoughtful. Paul the private livery driver was amazing (highly recommend asking for him during your stay). Jose the bellman was very cheerful. Avoid the breakfast and go to Tatte bakery instead. There is an unexpected and confusing billing practice for breakfast. Check out includes a somewhat hidden amenities daily fee which can be a surprise at checkout. Julien in guest relations is really nice. There is a spa and hotel is in great location to airport, financial district, and restsurants.

One thing I didn’t like is that there are no microwaves in the room. I’m sure this is to drive sales for room service and the on-site restaurant, but with so many restaurants nearby, it’s hard not to bring back leftovers.

The valet was great, very helpful. The bartender, Joel, was awesome. He was very engaging and very helpful.
However, it was very disappointing that the only place to eat in the hotel on Sunday night was in Rumba. It is a small area and a very limited menu. My wife is temporarily handicapped and when she tried to go to the bathroom outside of Rumba, she found it closed for renovation. She was forced to go up to the second floor to use a bathroom. We have stayed here in the past and were very happy, this time we were very disappointed.
We also found our tv remote did not function well. When we arrived we couldn’t get it to work at all. When we got back to the room it me “dozens” of tries to finally get the tv remote to work, but then we couldn’t change the channels. We experienced the same remote problems the next day.

The InterContinental Boston was nice, and around some tourists things. I stay here because I like the rooms lay out. I found blond hair in the walk in shower on the first time i went to take a shower so i just stood on a towel as a took a shower. The hotel is going over the remodel staff was nice answered all my questions. The hotels fees plus the tax and aminety fee is alot so watch that. Breakfast was buffet food was cold. Waitress gave me the check on my second bite of food and the waiter as I was returing with Bacon was clearing my table. He was nice said sorry. All in all i give InterContinental Boston a 3 out of 5

Excellent stay. Room was spacious with a great view! Service was impeccable. Unfortunately there were renovations going on so their restaurants were closed. However, room service was available, which we took advantage of and it was outstanding.

The toilet in the room was clogged. I had to ask twice for someone to come and fix it. For a hotel in this category is unacceptable. breakfast was also totally overpriced and not that much selection because they were going through construction.

Only complaint was that the hotel was undergoing construction, so to use the location as a meet up was a bit subpar given their common area spaces were not up to their usual standard. Apart from that, the room and service were exceptional.

Our room was very hot and we tried to adjust the thermostat with no success. We informed the staff multiple times and they said they would fix it, but they did nothing. There was also a foul sewage smell that would circulate out of the vents when the heat would kick on. Again, we informed the staff and they did nothing.

Very accommodating. Were Able to take care of all my requests. ( early check in, microwave, fridge.) Which are not in any rooms… Only things wrong: room service got my order completely incorrect and is very expensive. Second, the valet parking makes no sense. You pay 65 dollars for the parking yet have to go down to the garage to get your car after. Not convenient at all especially with kids and luggage.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly and polite staff who immediately removed our luggage and onto check in. Jeremy was the gentleman who checked us in and gave us an option for a late check out. He greeted us again when we returned from dinner and wanted to make sure all of our needs were met!
We had a lovely stay at the Intercontinental and will be back again!

My husband and I took our son to Boston Aquarium for his second birthday. We wanted to stay at a hotel with a pool because he loves to swim. I wanted to ensure that the hotel was clean & it was. Overall our stay was great but a few of the towels had stains on them.
