The place is very nice and clean. Unfortunately, we had a noisy tub all night. On and off gurgling noises. We called maintenance in the morning. The noise stopped before the maintenance guy showed up. Not sure if he did something to fix it prior to coming to the room but im still here and he hasn't showed up yet. So weird

I booked 2 queen beds. I arrived at 4:15 pm. They said they don’t have the room. Update my book king bed with beautiful view. I came to room. The view is disgusting. I see a roof top around both side. Expedia price was listed 274 plus fees 383. When I booked. Invoice came to 506$. I called Expedia waited 1:39 minutes. No one answer. I just find virtual help. I asked if hotel can’t call expedia with my problem. They said they don’t have number to call expedia. I was tired with my kids. I just want to check in and get diner. It was unpleasant experience. Parking valet service is very bay.

Lovely spot decently priced. The customer service was exceptional, so friendly, helpful, and fast. Everyone from front desk, the restaurant, room service, spa, and housekeeping that I encountered were incredibly nice and helpful. I felt taken care of and at ease. The bedding was the only thing that could have been cozier, it was a little thin. Other than that, I was thrilled. Definitely book again.

We could enjoy very good stay. One concern is that the shower power is a bit weak, so someone could be uncomfortable due to that. However, the place is very convenient and the room is overall good.

Very comfortable stay
We had a great stay at the Intercontinental! Went with 2 friends and everything was top notch: comfortable, clean and spacious room and excellent location in downtown Boston. My only disappointment was that when I asked for 1 extra bottle of water, I was told no, I had to purchase it elsewhere. But there was free coffee so that was a plus

This hotel was nice. Really clean and updated. We had 2 queen beds and our room was actually nicer and larger than expected. Bathroom was super clean and nice. The pool was great. Our kids loved it.
Room service: we got breakfast one morning, the food was not worth what we paid. The pancakes were good, but the egg yolks completely cooked through by the time we ate them. I could barely cut through my eggs Benedict with the knife. The English muffin was rubber and the ham was tough. Not worth $25.
Housekeeping and bell hop service was exceptional. The staff was so kind and personable.
The second night of our stay is where things took a bad turn. We were about to fall asleep when the room was overcome with a strong heavy smell of burning food. We turned the fan off on the thermostat but it did not remedy the problem. We were coughing from the smell, it was so strong and smoke-like. It was as if someone had a griddle in our room and was cooking meat. We called and asked what was going on and they said “an issue with the loading dock”. Not sure what that meant. But 20 minutes later they were able to move us to new room on the same floor but other side of the building. The room was smaller and seemed to have just been cleaned. There were wet spots on the carpet which was gross. We called the manager and she waived the amenity fee for us. She was not very apologetic. Ending our experience like that was really frustrating, as was moving rooms that late with a 2 year old.

The stay and service at the hotel were excellent, the only thing that was very expensive for me was the parking, 100 USD per day I think is a little excessive. I thought it was better to take my car a block away to the public parking lot and park them myself.

Pool was being renovated, was not notified till we arrived… I have kids.. made it kind of annoying. Room had a makeup pillow and dirty comforter….

We stayed in Room 701, which had a very nice view of the city and harbour area. Room was clean and nicely laid out. Staff was super-friendly. Good dining options w/in walking distance. All in all, a very nice overnight in Boston.

Absolutely loved this property. A few negatives so property will repair: room 631 shower took literally 5 - 10 minutes to warm. Lots of water wasted waiting for warm water. Toilet had a very weak flush and only flushed if u hold it down- where ur face is practically right above the bowl and possibly splashed on in order to flush. Surely housekeeping would have noticed both and reported but nothing had been repaired. Also shower door was misaligned. However housekeeping was amazingly detailed. Everything else was wonderful just wanted to give repairs needed. Would stay again.

We were waiting to check on an had a delay. Adam, the concierge, came over, welcomed us, and asked how he could make our visit better. Adam was quite informed about Boston and Cape Ann, where we we’re heading.

The property is beautiful and conveniently located. This is my second time staying here. The concierge were always very helpful with anything we asked. The bar/restaurant inside the hotel has great drinks with a cool atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Boston.

They cancelled the booking without any notice. We had to wait for the manager in order to see if they can find a room to stay..They finally found us a room but the whole experience was disappointing. They also don't reply on the emails and calls..Never again...

Hotel is soooooo very expensive! Not worth the money because it’s so far away from any store to buy stuff or to any dining places that are affordable. Boston is a very expensive city to visit.

Fabulous hotel
Best location, within walking distance to many local attractions. Extremely clean and comfortable rooms. Soaking tub perfect after a day of walking and site-seeing. Staff was amazing and attentive all around. Walk out of the hotel to the Charles river and the Boston Tea party boat. Very luxurious and upscale hotel.

I was going to extend my first stay but thankfully I didn’t.
I felt very unsafe at their Rum Champagne bar.
After my friend & diner at Smith & Wollensky- we came in for drinks.
There were men aggressively harassing us with profanity and sexual insults, when the bartender intervened the men said “I hope they don’t live here” and I said “no we are guests in Boston”
The men were enraged over a political comment, and called us disgusting comments, the bartender told me to face my friend and not engage. But the men felt entitled to have us thrown out, for no reason. When the bartender told them to settle down, the men told everyone that they lived there. They left and came up behind us, telling me to get rid of my Fkn wrinkles and the other called me a fat C word.
Others were shocked. Multiple witnesses. I sat there shaking, and am scared to ever return there.
The hotel staff was wonderful and the hotel itself was very lovely. But the patrons who frequent this place seem to be very territorial

Loved the location as there were alot of restaurants in walking distance. Enjoy sitting at the Rumba for an evening drink. Staff were friendly and attentive. However the room had a wrapper on the floor when we arrived and 1 of the pillows was stained with something blue but other than that the room was nice and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Large room with a view of the harbor. Spacious bathroom and beautiful hotel overall. The hotel breakfast was average at best and service could be improved. When we called for more coffee and sugar, it never arrived. When we called about picking up our car, we had to call 3 different times to get an answer. Besides that, everything was great. We would definitely stay again.

Great hotel at South station
The trip went well. If I had to issue faults, it would be that our sink was not draining properly. It had to be fixed. Also, our view was not very good as it just showed a nearby building of windows. The service was nice. The staff was friendly. Location is very convenient to the subway system.

The location is good and the breakfast tasted delicious though the dining service at the restaurant was extremely slow. The rooms are spacious. The fridge is really a mini bar with no space to put your own food/drinks and if you move things around to make space, you get charged. The pool was freezing cold for 5 days in a row despite multiple requests to turn on the heater. I chose the hotel because I am supposed to swim during my cancer treatment and I was unable to due to the frigid temperature. The hotel forget to give the requested wake up call.

Outstanding staff makes a difference
From the greeting we received at the front desk when we arrived (inc. dealing with a last minute problem on our end) to the moment our car was ready when we left, everything was perfect. Every staffperson we encountered greeted us with a smile

The hotel is about 5 mins walk from the Silver Line station that takes you direct to the airport, it is just around the corner from the Tea Party Museum. There aren't a very wide range of eating places nearby put quite a few within about 10 mins walk. The pool and gym are great with a steam room and free grooming items such as combs, shaving cream etc.
