The Staff was nice and hospitable, and some attempted at modern decor was appreciated. But the workmanship of the finishes was bad. Holes in walls around pipes. Water spots and corrosion on plumbing. Water closet leaked. The refrigerator was....well needs a defrost and cleaning. Floors seemed clean but felt a bit gross.

The room we were given has cigarette burns all over the comforters on both beds. The walls were very dirty as well as the furniture, & refrigerator. I found someone elses pills on a computer chair & when we asked for extra towels because we were only given 1 towel set for 3 people, they told us they had none they were all dirty. Super gross.

The room was clean and updated. The exterior of the hotel needs updating and there was not breakfast as stated on hotels.com. I would recommend it thou for a cheap place to stay.

This property was old, poorly maintained, and just overall an experience that was over priced for what I paid. The entire region is over priced, so I can't fault them for being one of the lowest in the region. But I would put the property under immense renovations and they need to put a lot into improving the property. Unless they update it, this will always be a poor experience.

The property outside looks dated and run down, BUT once in our room it had be upgrade with new floors and shower surrounded. The double beds were cleans as well as the floors, toilet & shower, the television is mounted and a lot of available channels with free Wi Fi, the room temperature was set at an inviting temperature not to hot not to cold and the mini fridge & microwave were also a nice addition.
I did not enjoy the tall slender male host. He seemed very uptight and not friendly at all. but once his wife took over my reservation things were processed a lot fast, easier and she was very professional. Also, I didn't like the fact that no breakfast is offered or coffee and no Keurig is available in rooms either.

Horrible experience
First of all this is the worst experience I've ever had at hotels.com the hotel night in Madison Heights in Virginia was the worst experience I've ever had the hotel front desk woman was so rude I called up a day before to cancel my reservation and they were so rude saying they couldn't do it because I was a couple minutes late on canceling the service I wasted $109 I'll never use your service again
I was told by your website that I would be able to pay for the reservation when I get to the hotel but I was charged today before it before you even got there
Horrible experience at the night in Madison Heights Virginia you should take that hotel off your website

The Staff was very accommodating and friendly. No Continental Breakfast - No hair dryer - bare basics. Bed was made, but looked as if crumbs had fallen across top.

impressed for the price
For the price, I was impressed. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, from those at the desk to the housekeeping staff. I felt safe when outside the room, and although there wasn't much within walking distance of the hotel, there was a Walmart about 10 minutes up the road and several restaurants within about 15-20 minutes.

BEWARE STAY AWAY!! The pictures of this property are very deceiving!! There was mold on the walls and in the refrigerator and just overall the place was FILTHY!! Spend your money somewhere else!!

This place is absolutely disgusting. The rooms are small and smelly. There is no food offered. There are no activities in walking distance. There was a septic issue all of the day I was there and so I couldn't flush, wash my hands, or take a shower until Saturday morning. Oh, and when I did go to take a shower, the water initially came out brown and I had to let it run itself out, and there was no shampoo or a hair dryer. The only good thing was the heat was working over time.

Don't judge a book by it's cover
I stayed a weekend with my 2 kids. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very nice. Tge only issue I ran into was the bathroom constantly smelled of cigarettes becaue although i was staying in a non smoking room the smoking rokms were on the back side of the building. It wont stop me from staying agaun and i plan to soon.

I liked the night auditor when I complained about the room being dirty and the bed linen looked like it wasn’t changed, he tried to switch me around to different room and they replaced the fridge in my room cause my fridge wasn’t working.

Unsafe, rundown, and a total disaster. Avoid this.
This hotel was unsafe and shady as could be. The parking lot and exterior was extremely rundown, there were broken down vehicles in the parking lot, and the entire property was dilapidated and not maintained. The front office was fully enclosed in plexiglass and the double doorway breezeway was locked and blocked to the public so you could only enter the breezeway. When we arrived there was a gentleman who appeared to be a homeless drug addict loitering in the doorway being ignored by the only person working who didn't make eye contact with anyone. While I waited I was approached by someone in a vehicle that was continually leaving and coming back, seemingly casing out the parking lot. We never checked in, deciding it was completely unsafe. We opted to drive all night back home rather than stay in this hotel that was already paid for. I still standby that that was the only safe decision. This hotel is where you would go to be robbed, assaulted, or worse. Avoid this hotel.

Horrible motel
The condition of the place is horrible. It was dirty, we asked for a non smoking room and thats not what we got. The room reaked of smoke. The toilet was like one from a public restroom and gross. The room wasnt carpeted, which is fine but it just made the dirt stand out more. The ac wasnt working so the room was beyond miserable. Not a safe place to stay, very sketchy people walking around, drugs. There were burn holes in the blankets and the sheets were extremely rough. Like, i slide my arm under the pillow and got a rub burn on my elbow. Dont stay here. Go further down and find a better hotel

The property looked nothing like the pictures there was no continental breakfast offered and if it was i wouldn't have eaten it. The bedding was dinghy towels were stained there was a hole in the wall we couldn't set air temperature because there was no knob it had been removed. The place gave me trap house vibes. I will never book here you definitely get what you pay for. It was convenient to the field where my daughter had her softball tournaments and thats the ONLY plus. One more major flaw our toilet kept stopping up!!

They have bed bugs I didn’t stay my full day’s there due to that and they didn’t even give me a refund back for the day’s I didn’t stay. I told them that it was bed bugs in there and I even showed them that I caught one he talking about he don’t know where it came from. Do not stay here.

Need a makeover

Paint peeling on bathroom ceiling. Entire wall was stained. No coffee valet. Refrigerator was rusting in multiple places. Microwave was so old it had a mechanical dial timer. There was no breakfast or coffee even though the reservation said a continental breakfast was included.

NEVER AGAIN
Upon Check In, desk receptionist was rude. Reserved a King Smoking room. He gave me a Double Non-Smoking. Went back to front desk, he said its what I reserved. When I pulled my reservation up, he changed his mind. Gave me a Queen smoking, telling me there was no Kings available and for me to make do. Highly Unacceptable!!! The room reeked of an awful smell, not smoke. The bed and chair as plenty of stains. The pillow cases and towels had nats sitting on them. The nightstand drawer was broken. The mirror hadnt been cleaned. And its still urine in the toilet. Overall, awful experience. Receptionist wouldnt change my room "bc I already switch twice".

WORST MOTEL EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
First, the receptionist was very slow, but accommodating. Key card didn't work very well, the room was so gross with MUSHROOMS growing out of the floor by the bathroom and more flies than a jungle. Blood and feces stains on walls. Although the towels, and bed above average. Dontwaste your money. You will be disappointed unless you're homeless.

I stayed in knights inn this past Saturday night in room 222. I'll put it this way. Around midnight I had gone to the front desk to ask for a Lipton tea bag so that I could make tea for my sore throat. They were visible by the door on a table. I confirmed my room number with my room key and the front desk guy was so rude in telling me that I could not have one because it was not breakfast time. This particular attendant was rude for the remainder of the morning even lurking around my door as though to spy. I realize this motel ain't The Ritz , however, ANY establishment needs to remember how to give good customer service. You never know who just might be checking in.

Stayed here before in a king room and had a great bed and room. This visit we went with a queen room. The bed had a big dip in the middle. The sink wouldn’t drain and the tub liner filled with water so it was like trying to stand on a waterbed.

We needed a basic room just for the night. The location was convenient to our destination, the shower had plenty of warm water, and the beds were comfortable enough. The breakfast bar looked very, very minimal, so we didn't have any of that. The location was a bit iffy, and there were odd individuals walking around the property, even late at night. However, I have to say, we were safe, our car was safe, no one bothered us, and the overnight stay worked out just fine. If I needed another basic, simple, overnight stay in this area again, I would probably consider this place.

Stopped driving through for a quick rest. Booked online. First room had shaving cream and hair in the sink and a filthy bed. Next room so bad hubby wouldn't let me in. Third room door lock were broken. We were locked out of the room with only half of our stuff unloaded. Over an hour later, offered a room while someone was already in it. Finally got into a room to wait for our belongings. It wasn't as bad but it wasn't comfortable. They had to call someone to come open the damaged door. After four hours sleep we ran out of there.

Needs updated but for the price okay
The hotel was old and needed updated. Comforter had burn holes in it, bathroom needed some work, but nothing we could not deal with for a one night stay. Probably will stay again since it is cheap and close to where we have to pickup our son.

This was a very outdated motel. The bathroom wasn’t very clean, there were dead gnats all over the ceiling, the mini fridge could barely hold anything because there was an enormous ice ball coming from the freezer down into the fridge part. There was no lock on the bathroom door. Also, there was no fan for the bathroom so there was a sign stating that steamy showers would cause the smoke alarm to go off, so to please close the door. The mattresses weren’t comfortable and the bedspreads were dirty/outdated. The WiFi was pretty shaky as well. It was not enjoyable at all.

The worst hotel I have ever been too. Everything from the disgusting smell in the room to prostitution happening next door to the room. There were holes on the bed sheets from cigarettes, paint chipping from the ceiling, dead bed bugs under the bed, the list goes on and on. Yes you do get what you paid for but you literally will sleep like an animal in these rooms. Do not stay here.

Gross gross property! I knew I wasn’t getting the Hilton but this was ridiculously not clean and funky. Office guy knocks on door at 10:58 To tell me it’s time to go, really?? Are people banging down the doors to get this particular room?? No! Go anywhere but here even in a pinch this place is nasty.

Their cleaning person doesn't change the sheets if the bed is not "too" dirty after the guest has left. I asked for new sheets at the front desk and at first they didn't care that the bed was used and has hair all over. They they give me a sheet and 1 pillow cover which any other sheets to cover slept all night shivering in cold. Disgusting carpet and room condition.
This property should be demolished and a new one should be built.

Most important part I wished I knew: Breakfast is a pot of coffee sitting on a hot plate (I didn’t touch this because luckily, I purchased coffee the day before) and nasty, super dried but typically seen at “low-end” hotels pre-packaged buns (honey buns, muffins if you’re lucky, and fruit buns). It’s true I booked a non-smoking room but my room smelled like smoke. The next door room explicitly has a no smoking sign while the occupant smokes... I had no safety issues, lots of parking, kind of ghetto, but the rooms can use some updating/renovating. Plus I think the TVs only had like 7 channels? Major brownie points for including a fridge and a microwave in the rooms! From my experience WiFi was awful, and my phone data (T-Mobile) went in and out. Overall, I was very exhausted and had a great night sleep... but I do not think I’d ever stay here again.

Cleanliness and overall care of the property was awful. Cigarette burns in the bed, nothing appeared to be cleaned prior to my arrival, the list goes on and it can truly not be overstated how awful this place was. The only reason I stayed one night out of the two weeks I booked was because it was too late to find another place when I got to the hospital.

I think the only reason the cieling didn't leak was because it didn't rain. This place is straight out of a bad scene from a B-rate 1970's TV cop show. It had a bed. There was a TV. The shower sort of functioned. But the price was acceptable.

The good . This was the only place available at the time I booked it and it had a nice firm bed . The bad . The room was full of small flies especially the bathroom . Paint in the room was pealing , the wallpaper was coming off of the walls, the furniture was in very poor condition, the toilet was leaking, several wall receptacles did not work, the pool was cloudy and no filter system was working, as well as the pool it self being in a bad state of disrepair .

We won’t be going back here again
I booked 2 rooms at this hotel and can honestly say we won’t be staying there again. In the room
My daughter and her family stayed in, it looked like the room hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. In the room I was in, the sink in the bathroom wouldn’t drain, wallpaper was peeling off the walls, I found Children’s shoes and toys behind the comforter on the floor.. there were marks all over the walls and I even found a marajuana bud on the floor.. the security in the rooms was also non existent.. there was the deadbolt on the door but nothing additional. I completely understand I wasn’t staying at a Hilton but cleanliness and safety shouldn’t be too much to expect; especially when my family is involved.

Run away, don’t stay!
Bedbugs. Freaking bedbugs. I spoke to front desk, they said I had to wait for manager. I waited until my boss called and needed me. All of my clothes, toiletries, food, and random stuff has bedbugs. I have photos and video. I’ll be contacting corporate. I’ll post pictures tomorrow.

There was a man in a car that was acting very strange. When I called the office. The person at the desk would not call the police. Second no ice machine. When the maid came in my room. I had used a wash cloth that morning she/he took the used cloth but did not replace it. Hotel was run down physically

Although the facilities were clean, it was very run down. The tub faucet dripped and the toilet didn't flush completely. We did not have the chain lock, so we had to put a chair in front of the door.

Very disappointing. Room was dirty and smelly. Receptionist very rude and unflexible, and did nothing to try to make our stay more pleasant. I ended up canceling the reservation and booking elsewhere.
If you don't mind sleeping in an inexpensive dump, go ahead and book your stay here...
The bright spot was the care I received from hotels.com! They bent over backwards to resolve my situation!
