Enjoyed my stay
Quick overnight trip. Room was ready when promised. The bed was comfortable pleasant staff and breakfast. Next door to the Red Lobster, where they provide guests a discount.

The day before check-in, I got an email saying Holiday Inn was unable to honor the reservation, and offered to move the reservation to Springhill Suites. I confirmed via email and phone that this was acceptable, and got a confirmation number for Springhill Suites. At check-in with Springhill Suites, I was informed that the Holiday Inn called that hotel to cancel the reservation as they had a room open after all. They did not call me to give me that option, or inform me in any way.

The hotel is older but well maintained. The breakfast was very good but crowed every morning. Hard to find seats for a family. Long line to get food. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location is not walkable to any dining other than that at the hotel. We had choose this hotel for the electric car charging. To our surprise, there was only one charging station at this large hotel. There were MANY electric vehicles needing the one charger. We ended up having to pay to recharge at the rental return.

Hotel was dark and dingy, didn’t feel comfortable walking in but went as it was already booked. Got to floor and hallway wasn’t very well lit and room felt dirty. Flipped comforter back to find orange/red stains. I had to get out of there as quickly as I could. I just told the front desk I needed to leave. Had planned to call hotel next morning but did chat to try to get refund and would give me one.

Gross with Blood or Feces in Bed
Checked in late after a long drive riddled with traffic. The cold water was too hot for our young child to touch. The floor was dirty and unswept. The sheets had blood or feces on them. The chair had a stain. I couldn’t let my kids touch anything and it was stressful. None of the clerks could do anything and said they’d inform the manager. I never saw or spoke to the manager in 4 days. The beds were sloped and uncomfortable. I was unable to get a receipt because I didn’t book directly with them. I’ll never stay here again.

I had to leave 100 dollars after paying for the room I stayed in (higher price than in other hotels) I feel cheated by the guy who served me, he told me that I will get my money back when I check out. I checked out It has been two days since my stay and I am still waiting for my money back. I called them to ask what was going on and now another guy answered me and told me that I will get my money back in 1 to 5 business days I think that's too long and it's really annoying

Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Bed caused back pain. Fixture in bathroom was loose. Did not get room cleaned on our second day of stay. Breakfast, no biscuits for the sausage gravy. Orange juice was watery. Very disappointed.

I like the price I only stayed overnight
The room was dated and very dusty. The floor had not been vacuumed. It had an outdated air conditioner unit in the room that looked like it had water damage around it the wall was damaged. Otherwise it is close to a lot restaurants and was close to the Eagle Bank Arena.

Convenient location to eagle bank arena and local shopping. I was surprised that they don’t provide bottles of water in the room. I went to the lobby to buy some waters and snacks, but there was no one at the desk to ring me out. Waited awhile then gave up and went looking for a vending machine. There were none to be found.

Hotel is totally renovated, unlike my last year stay when I left early it was so horrible. Javier was a big help setting up my TV. Breakfast OK. Very comfortable bed. Glad I decided to give them another try.

Check in was good however key cards were not working and had to be reset. Room was clean and nice. Desk chair has a broken arm rest. A separate bin for recycling would be a good addition. Bed and pillows were comfy. Lighting around the mirror at the entryway was way too bright, would have been better if soft white lights were used. The super mini fridge was not very useful for a family staying more than one night. As for breakfast, the belgian waffles and chobani flip yogurt were a hit for our picky eaters. Decent flavor on the sausage and gravy. Bacon looked like plastic.

Make it simple to use.

This hotel is located close to dining, shopping, and access to I-66 and the metro. There is ample parking and a Red Lobster restaurant right next door. The breakfast bar was kept stocked with eggs, breakfast meats, cereal, yogurts, muffins, and bagels. The waffle and pancake makers were not working. The only downside was the toilet in our room had NO water pressure and the mini-fridge was iced over.

The room was clean but the size of my bathroom at my house. The check in sraff was excellent abd very friendly and helpful. But the promised breakfast was ridiculous with no toaster, one waffle iron and twenty gusts and nothing to eat except for old cold beagles and oranges. . For the $130 charge they could have served a $5 breakfast to the guests. Very disappointed. Had to go to my meeting with only a cup of coffee.

You could tell it had been remodeled recently. There were signs of flooding from the bathroom in the room I stayed in. Mostly cosmetic. The breakfast bar was fabulous. The cook was kind and courteous.

Standard accommodations. Staff was nice.
Parking isn't the most convenient because of the way the hotel sit's on the property and there was some construction on something going on at one of the sections so it limited the parking. Red Lobster is right next to it. There is parking there but I was afraid to park in their lot because I wasn't sure if they would give out fines.
Breakfast was okay. Pretty standard. Pancake maker was out of order which seems to be the case in many places but waffle maker was good to go. Eggs were kind of dry and sausages (both links and patties) were a little "stiff." Very cozy area.

Needed a room in a pinch and decided to go with this hotel. Overall the hotel was OK but was a little rundown, smelt like mildew, and parking was horrible and sketchy. The spaces were very small and had some weird activity going on at night.

This was a very clean hotel. Other than the bathrooms being small (and what do you expect when you're looking for inexpensive?), we had no complaints. Breakfast was good. The hotel was clean, well-lit, and in a safe area. We would definitely stay here again.

Sink in the main room with bright overhead light is ridiculous design. If someone goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night and has to wash up afterwards he wakes up his partner.
Also, the toilet was leaking on the floor.
And the toilet paper was so thin as to be almost useless. Disgusting. How do you save money on that stuff if the customers have to use so much to get the job done?

Rooms and Facilities were clean. The staff was polite and helpful. The free breakfast was ok nothing fancy but enoug options. I don't know if this is a daily or an isolated issue but they obviously use powdered eggs which doesn't bother me... except, they didn’t cook them fully so they were too runny to consume the morning I was there.

Absolutely great newly renovated hotel
Wonderful service! The GM stopped to chat with us every day. The hotel is being completely revamped, new flooring, wall coverings, furniture, mattresses, bedding, fluffy, white towels, fridge, tv and incredible blackout shades. There was a reasonable hot breakfast and plenty of free parking.
The exhaust fan in the small but very clean bathroom was quite and very effective.

It is still in the process of remodeling but almost complete...with new everything from rooms, dining area, and entrance area. The staff and managers are adorable and so accommodating. I stay there 1 overnight every week for business with my therapy dogs. It is so clean, new and happy place.

Underconstruciton.
The building is under major renovations. The lobby was torn up and the exterior was being replaced. The staff was nice and the breakfast was amazing. The room was missing a few simple things like hand soap and regular kcups, but all and all a good stay

Expedia should have noted that this property was in process of a very messy remodel. The entire lobby was gutted, outside was a mess, and noisy construction during day hours made it impossible to do business in the room.
When we arrived, the front desk mngr was sitting at a folding table-turned-receiving desk and he was wearing pjama pants at 5pm. We had a huge roach crawl up the wall in our room and when I told the morning front desk he just said ," sorry to hear about that".
Bright side? It was a convenient location. Will never stay there again.

On-line description did not describe the level of renovation property was undergoing. Photos did not show renovation. Room was clean but not serviced during my stay - didn’t mind bed not being made, but trash wasn’t even collected. Don’t think I’ll stay there again.

Do not stay during renovations
The hotel was being renovated during my stay. There was no indication of this during the reservation process. Making the lounge inaccessible restricting me to my room only during my stay. Instead of an actual breakfast I'm used to when staying with a HIE property I was afforded a brown bag with yogurt, a muffin, granola bar, an underripened orange, and oatmeal.
I specifically choose HIEs for the included breakfast and this was a waste. If I'd known it was unavailable I would have stayed elsewhere. I ended up wasting money going out to eat for breakfast after choosing this option over another hotel that had a pool since breakfast was included.

This was one of the worst hotel stays. First, on the Travelocity site there was no indication that this hotel was being renovated. When we arrived the “front desk” was basically a table with construction work going behind. There was no breakfast, a breakfast paper bag was given with food in it that we didn’t like. The room was never cleaned and we had to ask for clean towels. If you risk going to this hotel, call the hotel and find out if renovation is complete.

I didn't like anything. My room had a lot of hair on the floor from the prior guest, the bathroom wasn't clean enough, the toilet were very slow to flush, and i can go on. For that price i could have gotten a better place.

Things were pretty comfortable there. I really could've used a bit more room service on the cleaning end. However due to the hotel policy due to covid 19, that was nearly non-existent during my stay. Otherwise lovely location and accessible.

Ugh! Never again
I stayed at this hotel in February 2020. It was undergoing renovation then. Now 18 months later it has not changed. The hotel smelled bad, no housekeeping, granola bars offered as a breakfast. If corporate had any idea of just how bad this facility is they would pull the franchise tag. My advice...stay someplace other than this Holiday Inn.
