The property is advertised as a hotel. It is more of a motel. They charge a resort fee but you have to carry old beach chairs to the beach. Other hotels of same price range arrange the beach chairs and umbrellas at the beach. The room had the odor of the pool right nearby. The door kept jamming. There was no working phone line to the front desk. The wireless faded most of the time so the tv kept freezing. There was free parking. The drain in the bathtub was not working adequately.

I’ve stayed here twice now. I’m traveling by myself for some beach time and this place is super convenient. Right between bus stops and across the street from the beach. Roof was getting done while I was there and it was noisy dirty and just a pain

the bad had hair and some kind of bugs in it; the sheets were probably not changed. I had to sleep in my clothes and use my clothes as a pillow.

I am so grateful that the housekeeping found my tempurpedic pillow and gave it to the front desk. I picked it up a few days later.
The room was clean. Right by the beach. There was a funky smell, but that may be because of the humidity and moisture.

If you have no other options it is okay.
Staff was very nice: however, the hotel needs a full renovation. We had to constantly keep door open as it smelled like mold. The towels were all stained and the bed made us itch so bad. I’m not sure if it’s the mattress or the detergent they used on the sheets. Neighborhood isn’t the best but it is a quick ride to other parts of Miami.

This property looks great on pictures but when you get. to the room smell super strong to humidity, the bathroom has no separation between the toilet and the shower with that being said everything gets wet including toilet paper and really unsafeThe mattress was reaLily uncomfortable.

Amazing staff
Spent just 1 night in an upgraded room (thank you) which was just an ok room to be honest (the mattress was way too soft for us). However, the staff was AMAZING, the receptionists took extra miles to help us out with queries and transportation needs. Thank you!

The hotel is close to a park that runs along the beach. It was great for an early morning walk. The rooms were musty and the hotel had some areas that looked like they needed structural repairs.

The staff is incredibly helpful and considerate. I had to come for the death of an immediate family member and was a wreck when I arrived, the front desk agent was so polite, kind and understanding making the check in process smooth. The remainder of my time there all the staff I encountered were very helpful and considerate. The property is older but the cleanliness is good and seeing the bldg maintenance crews working showed how they cared to keep it well maintained. The pool area was very clean. The only thing that was a slight problem was the tv but quite frankly I can’t imagine who comes to Miami, Bay Harbor Island’s area to watch tv. I came for an awful reason but they made my time here at the hotel very nice.

This is a small property with limited amenities, but very conveniently located just 5 min walking to the beach. This property provides umbrellas, chairs and towels for FREE. The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk people and housekeeping were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay

We felt comfortable in the 2 bdrm apartment with full kitchen. Location is very good, 5 min walk to the beach, which was clean and uncrowded. It's an older place, and it shows. It's a bit noisy in the living room but quiet in bedrooms. AC was good, tv - almost no channels to watch. Service was friendly, easy parking. Didn't use the pool, it looked ok though, we came right after anotherplace, where the pool was impeccable. Overall, a B/B- rating. Pretty expensive.

This property has great potential but it needs major renovations. There were a lot of unknown stains on the walls and curtains. They need to wash the walls and the property and room needs a major paint job. Air filter for the room air conditioner is a need and would help with the rooms air quality. They should also shampoo the carpet after each guest because it’s so close to the beach and most people stay there because it’s near the beach only God knows what is imbedded in that carpet. The staff were very nice. They definitely should do a thorough cleaning after the guest because I found a beer can in the toilet. It’s not that quiet if you’re around the pool area but the hotel is not back for coming to visit family and needing a place to go.

Disappointing, the place is a rundown for what u pay for. We checked in and the attendant was really nice, the first room we got was so stinky & noisy. We complaint and moved to a room that smelled clean and better than the first one. The bed was sinking in the middle.

This property is nestled between two busy one way streets, so you could hear traffic, but once inside, the room was clean, AC worked well, beds were very comfortable, and front desk person was very pleasant. Parking outside our door was a plus, too!

The location does not make up for the extremely uncomfortable beds, rude front desk service and the “$15 obligatory fee for the use of the facilities”. Still haven’t received my damage deposit and it’s been 2 weeks. 1 star at best.

Clean little spot, kept in good condition. The maintenance man/janitor is really a hard worker & it shows. Housekeeping does nice work too.
TV only had about 5 channels, but no local channels at all. I missed the news & football! My room looked out over the alley, rather than the pool. Overall good place & I'd probably come back as I love the location.

Property is old but very well maintained and is a drive up to the door style motel. The room was very clean. An added convenience, if your destination if South Beach, is that the motel is on the free Miami Beach Trolley route. Unfortunately, I booked through this website and over paid. I should of contacted the hotel directly.

I have stayed at this reasonably priced hotel on multiple occasions when visiting Miami Beach. The hotel is located just steps to the beach. There is ample free on-site parking available. My room was clean and spacious. The hotel staff is professional and courteous. I will definitely stay here again when visiting North Miami Beach.

At first they claimed they didn’t have a room. It took over 2 hours to get checked in. The carpet looked dirty. My 4 year old’s big toe was bleeding while walking on the carpet. There were white flakes on the chair.

Nice motel - my room was large and clean. The area is nice enough, with an easy walk to the beach and a very nice park. The street is busy and a little noisy but it didn't impact me much. The TV as good. My only issue was the slow wifi that repeatedly dropped and needed to be reconnected.

Stay 2 nights only to sleep and shower. We had a family reunion. They charge me $$35 for towels beach chairs and umbrellas that we didn’t use. Never went to the pool or beach. It was clean and spacious.

Quiet, laid back location. Proximity to the beach is excellent. 5 minute walk to uncrowded beach. Proximity to food options was not great. Closest food was around 1 mile in either direction. Not a great location for dining. Bus stops on either side of the hotel are good for quick public transportation.

I paid over $300 for 1 night. Room was very average and had to kill 2 cockroaches. Parking is free but hotel is located around a blind curve and getting in and out of the spots is dangerous. Front desk help was for fly but that didn’t make for an overpriced bug infested room
