Typical hotel/room for business trips with minimum amenities, but courteous and professional staff. Facilities are old and need maintenance. First day of my staying there was no water of 4 hours and when it came back it was no warm. Elevator had to be fixed multiple times during my stay. Halls and carpets smell because they are old and cleaning is not regular. Cleans rooms only every other day and there is no room service.

The dirty tub
The tub was black and just looked gross and the carpet was just as dirty too the blankets weren’t comfortable

A lot of knocking noises coming from the AC unit and temperature regulation was all over the place. Other than tha, great staff, great room and no complaints of the area.

Would never stay here again. Water pressure in shower would drop and water did not get consistently hot. Fridge made noise continuously and could not reach front desk from phone in room.
Cleaning only comes every other day, so if you miss it you'll be out for a few days. Soap dispensers were not full and ran out after a few days.
Front desk staff was friendly but otherwise not a great experience.

The rooms were clean, but outdated. Still had carpet in them. There was barely any street parking which made us walk a good distance very late at night with our children.

The hotel section was good. But breakfast attendants were completely devoid of any training They were unfamiliar with their menu. We had to show them the menu availability to stop arguing. Waffles were cold. Bacon & potatoes old.

There was a lot of noise coming from the AC in our room! It sounds like a water drops from a water tank or the AC itself. The AC was keep turning off every few minutes and you need to get up from the bed so the sensor can be activated to turn on the AC again (it can’t be controlled grim the AC controller). Just imagine that we had to do this 3-4 times every hour. The maintenance and the hotel manager didn’t fix the issue. They didn’t change the room as the hotel was fully booked. Will never stay in Hilton garden inn again. It was a terrible experience

Loved staying here. Nice people, nice room. My big complaint is that I dropped something at the desk to be mailed in Saturday, figuring it would be mailed Monday. Noooo! I called Thursday and was told USPS only picks up one a week. Really? Doesn’t the hotel get mail daily? Shouldn’t it go out daily, too? No one told me, and now my application is a week late. So much for Hilton service.

Hotel was great, including staff! The few issues I had with the property was no parking except for a parking garage for $10 a day. The second was the surrounding property next to the hotel was dirty, there was mattresses thrown just off the sidewalk where I had to park as well as truckers leaving big trucks parked which took up most of the street parking! The last would be breakfast wasn’t included, and was not worth the price!

It was a good stay.
The room was clean and bed was comfortable.
Only negative was that we were given a room that was still occupied. We were quickly reassigned to another room.
The food in the dining room for dinner and breakfast was average at best.
We did like the hotel location overall.

This was a lovely, clean, comfortable property located so conveniently to Wolf Trap and Tyson's Corner. The staff was lovely and friendly. Rooms are very comfortable, great beds, mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker, nice bathroom. Parking is $10 in their garage which was well-lit. Thank you for a great stay!

Although modernized, this property suffered from a failure to keep the rooms and facilities functioning properly. An example was its underground garage where I could not get an elevator to come down to its level so I could exit. I had to go out through a gate luckily opened by a car coming into the garage. As for the rooms, the TV and remote were totally out of synch. Couldn't find the few channels the TV had, got stuck in a loop of channels, etc. And the guide matched nothing. Finally, the Keurig coffeemaker didn't work either. Overall I was not impressed and would not come back.

Toilet did not flush right-had to jiggle it under tank lid; large A/C fan blew very cold air all the way across room. No way to work at desk unit without getting “blown away”. Business hotel with nice staff in a convenient location.

Room way to hot the have it set it comes on every 20 minutes then off for 15 minutes if they would un-set the air / heat systems and let guess regulate it would be better I know there trying to save money but be careful if you get a asthmatic or COPD or a person with lung problems it’s going to be a lawsuit waiting to happen I would highly caution it

Roberto, at the front desk, was so helpful when I extended my stay last minute and let me keep the same room. They are dog friendly and have free wet food which my pooch was thrilled about. It’s a great location for a stop over and convenient to lots on the Tyson’s area.

Wel , the first night was great but the second night when I walked into the room it wasn’t a pretty site. The bathroom had yellow stains on the floor and the bowl had feces in it and in the outside of it. I immediately called the desk and they sent someone to clean it. One small towel had been used so they replaced it. I wanted them not to charge me for the room but instead they gave us 2 free passes for breakfast. After seen what I saw , breakfast wasn’t on my mind.

The air conditioning didnt work properly in our room. The bed wasn't very comfortable. We had very little water pressure in the bathroom sink. Overall our stay was ok. But definitely could've been better. I will say the staff was always very friendly
