Customer Service Blunder/ Unauthorized Room Entry
During my stay at this hotel a member of their team entered my room while I was away at a funeral. I had placed the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door expecting that my room would not be entered. A member of the maintenance team came into my room regardless and exchanged my air conditioning unit. The property did not notify me. They did not attempt to contact me via phone, email or any other method. Furthermore upon discovery of this, the property took a very cavalier attitude toward my experience and what felt like a violation as a female traveling alone. It took 3 days to get on the phone with a decision maker at the property and when I asked for a refund for my stay, the best the manager would do is refund me one night. This was a nightmare situation, but it's how you handle a mistake after it has been made, and I would have expected a full refund, but they refused to do that. It was highly disappointing and I therefore cannot recommend this as a good place to stay in this area.

Arrived late check-in. Everything seem to be okay and absolutely what one would expect. Half hour into settling in. A person came knocking on our door, which was not a staff member. My husband spoke with this person. The man went away. Then at 11pm I got woken up by more knocking. This went on for a few and they left. By midnight more knocking this time by an authority knock and who they were. The officer also demanded our names and search our room.
Needless to say with being in Boston for medical treatment that following morning at 6 am and I needed to get up by the latest 5 am. I was exhausted. Traveling 3 hours in difficult weather I was trying to get a full night's sleep prior to my procedure that morning by preplanning a week ahead. I cue not recommend this place.

Rooms are not clean. Bed sheets are not changed. Lots of hair in bed and floor. No microwave inside the room. No good channel on tv.

We stayed 4 days. The staff was quite accommodating. The room was good, breakfast was fine, and the location was perfect! I definitely recommend this hotel for visiting the Boston area.

Property was clean and in a convenient area to go to all the places we wanted to go. However walls are pretty thin, and toilet is LOUD. You can hear every step someone takes down the hallway. Bring ear plugs

Excellent location and hotel
Great hotel! Location is fantastic literally two blocks from the expressway! The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. We went from there to visit Salem and the drive was 20 minutes. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very nice. The breakfast was great-the restaurant connected to the hotel was excellent and very decently priced. Overall excellent stay

Lack of billing transparency
The hotel itself was decent. Their billing policies and lack of disclosure, horrendous. They ran my credit card for the full amount of my stay on day one. Great! I then received a $25 deposit hold, incidentals, sure. Then I had the full amount placed on hold...even though the full amount was paid the first day. There were no resort fees, no discussion about additional deposits or holds. When I spoke with staff about it they said, yeah, some people are surprised. I asked for managements number to have a conversation about transparency with customers, just let me know what is going to happen upfront, I was given a number that is out of service. I will stay with Hyatt moving forward. There is no surprise billing.

Happy overall
The only complaints I have are that our entire floor smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke the first day we were there. Our room also had an extremely overpowering smell of cleaning chemicals that lasted the first couple days.
Having the breakfast included was very nice and the food was good.

Outside Boston great area
Great place to stay outside Boston. Area had everything you needed. Good breakfast every morning. Very good restaurant right on the property. Beds were comfy plenty of room to move around in the room. Overall I’d use them again.

The only good thing about this property is location . Half way between Boston and Salem it suited perfectly our trip . The place is extremely dirty though . The carpet on the stair smells awful. There were stains in the bathtub, groce enough that I used a towel in the bottom before stepping in . I wouldn’t go there again. Would definitely never recommend it .

Broken lever to turn shower into tub and plug wouldn’t stay plugged ( problem with 2 toddlers and baths ) also the water heater was broken, and the shower trickled. Kept saying it would be fixed soon and never was. Also the pool was being cleaned and was suppose to be working soon and never was ( also why we picked this spot cause toddlers ) but the breakfast was good! And there were 3 bunnies outside eating the grass every night :)

We stayed here overnight after flying to Boston Airport on the way to Portland. The hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable and staff was very nice. Really close to the Interstate and super convenient to keep going north and not pay the crazy hotel prices in boston

This hotel was awesome! Just a short drive from Salem, which was where we were visiting. Excellent breakfast and the restaurant attached at the front is a bonus!

I stay in this location to visit Salem during Halloween season, 30 minutes away from Salem, great price! Has a pool that was fun! Several places you can go eat near by (walking distance) and what impressed me the most was the free breakfast in the morning! Lots of option, and tasty!

Was greeted by a very pleasant and helpful person at the front desk. Everything smelled very clean. Very pleasant stay and the price was comparable to others in the area. Would definitely come back.

The hotel had only two e machines for five floors and neither of them worked. I went to the front desk to find out how to get ice and I was told I was out of luck. On one of the elevators the door would start to close and then open again. You had to push the floor button again.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, accessible and as quiet as you can get for a hotel. We really enjoyed the pool as well. Nice place and fair prices, can’t really ask for anything more! :)

The room was pretty dirty, the wallpaper was separating and it looked like there was mold on the walls. The carpet felt really gross and the ice machine wasn’t working.
It was a good distance to Boston, but I definitely wouldn’t stay there again.

My hands and legs are all bit up from bed bugs.. I was expecting for a beat western to be great but no the only thing that was good were the scrambled eggs from the breakfast tbh…. I stood in room 216 for reference.. would never ever come again it was literally the first night and I woke up with swollen hands from the bites.

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world. This was hands down the WORST stay of my life. The rooms smelled like mildew, and uncleaned, beds never made properly, not even sure the sheets were ever changed, or the bathroom was ever really cleaned..
But most importantly I was - for the first time ever- concerned for my safety and well-being. There where groups of jacked up people rummaging and yelling at the hallways, slamming doors night after night, up until the early morning hours. The room smelled so bad, that I wanted to open the window to air it out, but it was impossible from the weed smell coming in. And to top it all off, there was no electricity by this morning, so showered in a dark under cold water after nights of not sleeping. NEVER staying here again!!! No safety, no security, no management, no cleaning, no service. It was honestly horrible.

We have stayed here a number of times and have only two issues
1. No recycling options exist.
2. When the hotel was renovated a few years ago, they somehow hung the doors so they slam and make a lot of noise.
That said, we continue to return which tells you something.

The room overall was clean and comfy but
the bathroom exhaust fan was broken and the room fogged up with each shower.
Main problem was noise. Everytime a door in the hallway closed, everyone heard it.

The stay was fine for a last minute book. The front desk clerk could use a little brush up on his bedside manner. Just all around unfriendly and uncaring. We came off of a flight that had us sitting on the plane for hours before takeoff and the flight was late to begin with. Just unfriendly.

Very nice hotel with a plus: an express MBTA bus, 354, goes directly to downtown Boston. Just a fine minute walk to the stop.

Rough Start
When I tried to check in I was told that there was no reservation for me. The front desk clerk did not seem willing to assist and seemed annoyed . I had received a reminder confirmation from Hotels.com the day before for my so I knew that my reservation should be all set. They proceeded to assist someone else to check in and left me standing there. I pulled up my hotels.com itinerary number which they still could. It locate. Finally they were able to find my reservation in their online system but not the actual system of the hotel itself. A frustrating process to say the least.

Check in was quick. The room itself was nice. There were a few spots where you realize why this is considered a 3-star hotel- the wifi was down, one of the fire exit signs was falling off the walls. Overall, it was a great place to stay, especially for the price.

The attached restaurant was good. The continental breakfast that was included in the stay was sufficient. The first room I was assigned to had dirty sheets, so I requested a different room. I was looking forward to swimming in the pool, but I didn’t dare go in it. The pool and water didn’t look clean.

The hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast is good, many choices. The kids enjoyed the poor, but be careful, one side is 6 feet deep! The restaurant next door is good, and was very crowded one night. Location is ok, very close to highway.

Second time staying. Overall we like it. Wish people (employees and guests) wouldn't stand by the front door and smoke. Makes breakfast rough, so better off going away from the breakfast area.

The room had a bad musty unclean odor. There was feces and hair floating in the pool. I went to the front desk to ask for more towels and the guy was very slow with responding. He said I can give you pool towels. The pool towels were very small and hard. Multiple couches in the lobby had stains all over them. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Extremely disapppoiting! The first 2 days there was no wifi in the room. In the last two days there was no hot water! During the whole stay there was not coffee in the breakfest at all. Every day was a different issue, and staff were very dismissive. The only positive points: clean hotel and great breakfest options (but not coffee).

The hotel staff was friendly and the room was clean. However the hallway smelled funny. The phone in my room didn’t work and the tv guide was no where near accurate. There was actually only espn and news channels on the television, which for my two young children is not what they want.

Ice around property made for everyone falling . Room beds were so uncomfortable my back was killing Me after. Pool room was freezing not enough heat for indoor pool in winter. Kieth front desk was great to help me with my reservation. Neighborhors were smoking cigarettes inside the room and made me and my son sick

Localisation bonne propre et personnel sympa.
Personnelle de chambre très sympathique aidant et souriant en tout temps. Un des Réceptionniste un peu moins à l’air d’être très fatigué et à besoin de vacances , sinon les autres sont correctes, piscine très bien entretenue, on a eu un problème de chauffage ça a pris 10 minutes on nous a changé de chambre pour nous offrir une plus grande. Boston a 15 minutes en auto , McDo a 5 min de marche, si je dois revenir je reprendrai clairement le même hôtel
