We picked this property because it was super close to the American girl doll store. I was very disappointed to see the room was outdated . The room felt icky and stuffy as if someone had not dusted in years. Which not to my suprise it was true. They have years of dust behind the vanity, side tables, light fixtures. The sofa we had in our room was DISGUSTING. It was soggy , material was falling apart and worse enough we found toe nail clippings in the pull out. I would suggest before you come bring some type of air spray because the hotel rooms stink!!!
We did not get to enjoy the other amnesties the hotel had to offer such as the pool. The pool was super packed. There had to be 40-50 people in the pool at once which I don’t think is sanitary or safe.
I was not impressed and will not be coming back. Save your money and go to another hotel.

Rooms are smaller than pictured
Carpet need shampooing.
Couch smelled and had visibily dirty linen, on let out sofa,which I had to go down from 23rd flr to have replaced.
Beds where not Queen in size.
Would not stay again or recommend

Great location with some room for improvement.
Great location and decently nice suites.
Employees were very nice during check in.
Asked for bath towels and a non feathered pillow. They said “we will take
it to your room” Never happened and never called back either. Had to go to front desk myself to get them. Parking is a ripoff, 80 a night.

A little outdated especially for the price. The fridge didn’t get cold but maintenance came to fix right away. Bell service phone operator was really rude. Valet staff was extremely friendly. Blanket in the closet was dirty but the hotel brought brand be clean ones up bright away. The room was cute, convenient but had very little lighting. The room was very well insulated as far as hearing outside noise but the windows were leaking a lot of condensation into the room onto the floor. Overall, a nice place. I’d stay again! However it is at the far end of the magnificent mile; opposite of the river.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet with quiet heat. The pool was great. It was clean and a good temperature. The doormen were helpful with our luggage and securing us taxi's.

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were a little dated, but also clean. The staff was very friendly and knew us by name the first day. The hotel has a great location. Very walkable to restaurants and shopping. The rooms are spacious for families. We will stay here again.I

We enjoyed our stay and found the location and room to be convenient and comfortable. The biggest challenge we had was that many of the outlets in our room weren’t working consistently which made charging our devices trickier than it should have been.

Great stay except for one big detail.
We had an overall great stay. The location is great. The hotel was clean. The beds were great. My only complaint was the fact that our showers were cold in the morning, must be when everyone else in the hotel was showering. It was like being a kid at home and the hot water was all used up. I did call to inform them and they did offer to send someone up but we were mid showering and getting ready to leave for our event so we did not have time to wait for a fix, if that is what was needed. We just took cold showers. Not pleasant. The price point should include hots showers no matter the time of day. I think.
I was more disappointed with the fact that there was never an offer to compensate, which I think is just bad business.
For all of the other great features of this hotel we would stay again, but for fear of cold showers in the morning I am not sure we will book here agan.

Family getaway
Very nice experience. There was a mishap with our room and they quickly resolved it. The king size suite was very spacious and accommodated my family of four very nicely.

The views from the pool room and fitness rooms were awesome! Our suite was very comfortable. Excellent housekeeping staff, very friendly staff in the coffee shop, at the front desk and all of the doormen. Wonderful stay!

Housekeeping was so pleasant during every encounter and kept our room tidy while we were away during the day. The doormen however might as well have not even been there. No communication, no help , nothing . Never said good morning or offered us help with anything

My stay was just okay. The room was way too hot and stuffy for December, we had to crack the windows which wasn’t the best option for sleeping in after a late night. At check out I was asked what I thought about my stay. I responded by stating I didn’t like being in the room near the elevator, it was too loud. The clerk seemed to catch an attitude when all I was doing was being honest, and I definitely wasn’t nasty about it. I was able to hear the people in the room next to me and every-time they left their room because the doors shut very loudly, I didn’t even complain about that. I’ve stayed at several hotels in downtown Chicago as I visit 2 to 3 times a year. I’ll never return to this one.

Lamps need replacements
The room was fine and the location was great. I thought the TV could have been better and that all the things on it should not have been at an additional cost.
I thought the furniture and especially the lamps were very junky and needed a little updating. Everything looked very worn out and used. The carpet was kinda gross and I didn't want to take off my socks in there.

We stayed here after attending a show (Hamilton) at the Nederlander Theater. It was clean, spacious, next to a cluster of restaurants, and within walking distance to the theater and downtown Chicago.

We drove in and didn’t receive a warm welcome from the hotel’s valet service. We weren’t given the lake front room we booked. Room was somewhat clean, but furniture seemed dirty and needs replaced. Kitchenette was old and needs updated as well. If we were staying more than 2 nights we were going to go to another hotel without question. We won’t be returning.

Location was perfect. The room was so hot. We couldn’t get it below 74 degrees. We asked for it to be looked at and no one came. We stayed two nights.

Older building so it was not as nice as where we usually stay in Chicago. It was very convenient to shopping and attractions.
Room was large with separate living area. Everything was dated however, could use redecorating.

I like how close it was to everything. The hotel did seem a bit rundown lights were coming out by the elevators. Our room was average. The staff was very nice and very helpful and valet. Parking were also very very nice and helpful.
The pool was so full of kids that you could not swim. There were so many kids in it, and so many kids splashing. Pool had a good view and good temperature. Just a lot of kids parents were sitting outside of the pool. Kids were just jumping all over could not enjoy it.
Beds in the room are very, very small I was surprised. Called downstairs for three extra blankets, and they only had one.
So I would say the staff and the valet were very very friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself seemed a bit rundown. It was close to everything which made it nice.

Very dated. The furniture smelled of body sweat. The small fridge had a horrible food smell. The shower was dirty and did not drain well. The toilet kept running and had to lift the lid for the flapper to seal. (gross)
For the price, I would have expected much better accommodations.

The location is great. However, at check-in we were not told that wifi did not work on our floor. Wifi is a pretty basic and essential thing. To have us find out on our own and then have to move rooms was really a waste of our time. Hard to understand why we weren't told at check in and given the option to be on a floor with wifi.

This was a great place to stay while visiting Chicago. The rooms were spacious and the suite layout was surprisingly nice. The staff was super friendly especially the doormen. I would definitely stay here again.

I made reservations at the "wrong" Manificent Mile Hotel for a conference and could not have made a better "mistake." Staff was exceedingly helpful, very pleasant--like "family,"--to help me overcome additional missteps which occurred. Rooms quiet, bed very comfortable. Would stay again..

Fantastic hotel. Place was very clean, staff was courteous. We went for the weekend to take my granddaughters and niece to the American girl store and restaurant. The hotel was literally one block away. The only downfall was the parking was confusing.

Hilton was amazing. Close to everything you need. Parks, beach, shopping, food (all the food joints we hit were pretty poor except stans donuts. It was delicious. The rest weren’t worth the $$$. Food was just kinda blah or poorly made) but over all the Hilton was amazing. Would stay here every time!

This was the perfect location for our trip to the American Girl store. Super kid friendly, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We used the pool every day. Pillows were very uncomfortable, however, and the pull out mattress was super thin.

The lake views and convenient Gold Coast location are incredible! The room was dusty and there were hairs on the coffee table, desk, and bathroom counter. The furniture was also in somewhat shabby condition. I encountered multiple issues with key cards not working in the elevators and/or room and met many other guests having similar issues during my stay. Would stay again for the spacious room and location, but would love to see housekeeping and facilities improved.

False advertisement from the pictures online booking not clean we have always stayed in nice hotels in chicago even really nice Hilton hotels but this particular one was awful exactly walked over to the Westin but they were booked I will never visit that particular Hilton hotel again very disappointed especially with how much money we spent for that dirty place came in for the Air and Water show pick that hotel because it was in walking distance of everything and the Lake.
